They most likely already know about it.
Even if they didn't find out by themselves, surely lots of Capcom fans would tag their official accounts on Twitter with bugs and stuff.
-
Idk if it was necessary, but i'm not unhappy with crossplay thus far.
-
I love that we've gotten to the point now where these are seen by more players as a mysterious thing rather than knowing it's an abandoned Offering.
-
What we need is to be able to customize Aura colors per Perk.
Just a lil dropdown with a color-picker appears when you are on an Aura Perk in the menu. (Selecting it once, as if you're equipping the Perk.)

If we're talking Anniversary update -> The Inability to enjoy the event due to issues.
If we're talking Mid-Chapter -> Something we never asked for that BHVR decide it'd be a good idea to push onto us despite all of the 300 other issues that need desperate fixing or changing. To give one example is not fixing x perk that is bugged or whatever OR not buffing x killer, for example Nemesis since he's the most recent one. Also who could forget performance issues.
Okay, thanks for elaborating.
Then i prefer not to bet.
-
Surprisingly, i'm having quite the long waiting times myself.
Not in lobbies, but to get into them.
This is surprising to me as i never really have such problems, my waiting times have been consistently short over the years.
-
What would define it as a failure?
-
Not really.
I sometimes do it, but i usually continue like normal.
Trial's ######### anyways, not gonna be bothered if it gets ######### up a bit more.
-
Maybe in another 4 years or so.
-
Oh that's way too fast.

My favorite add-on overall is Compound Thirty-Three, for the Blight. It's so damn fun and works well with other add-ons. Combine it with Compound Twenty-One and you're able to see the auras of close-by survivors affected by the hindered status effect. Combine it with the meme add-on Shredded Notes, destroy a pallet with a bump, and you get your power back quickly.
My second favorite is LoPro Chains, for the Hillbilly. Extremely creative and fun add-on.
Ooooh, i do love me some LoPro.

I'm just gonna assume the one i'm killing is a Jake or whatever, to make writing this more easy.
Sorry, Jake mains.
wraith (starting the kill animation while uncloaked)
Wraith moves to stand over Jake's body, Wraith's feet planted to Jake's sides.
Wraith takes his Wailing Bell in his free hand and smashes it down on the back of Jake's head, the bell ringing loudly once.
Smashing Jake's head with the Wailing Bell also makes Jake's body phase in and out of the Spirit World in a second or 2, which Jake's body can't handle, leaving a few Lightburn marks on Jake's body once he's done phasing, and these marks fade out in a few seconds.
(If you don't know what Lightburn marks are: I'm talking about the shiny particles on Wraith's body whenever he (un)cloaks and gets Lightburned.)
Wraith does this 2 more times, and with the 3rd smash, Jake's head splits open from the back, killing him.
Jake's body goes in and out of the Spirit World during these smashes as well and these also leave Lightburn marks, and all Lightburn marks fade eventually.
Wraith puts the Wailing Bell away, steps away from the body, and that's the end of it.
wraith (starting the kill animation while cloaked)
Wraith moves to stand with one foot on Jake's back.
Wraith partially uncloaks, revealing only his lower left arm, which is the arm that holds the Wailing Bell.
He keeps this arm uncloaked and then starts ringing the bell.
Due to Wraith directly touching Jake and ringing the Wailing Bell, this forces to Jake start going into the Spirit World as well.
However, because of lore reasons (
My theory: The Entity altered Wraith's body to allow him full access to the Spirit World.), Jake can't enter the Spirit World fully.Wraith keeps ringing the Wailing Bell repeatedly, but Jake doesn't get cloaked fully, with only his head still uncloaked at some point.
Eventually, his eyes, nose and ears start bleeding from the insane pressure, coughing up blood as well, clearly in agony until he finally dies.
Wraith stops ringing his Wailing Bell, fully uncloaking Jake's body.
He recloaks his arm and steps off of Jake's body, and that's the end of it.
The latter option does mean that the Wraith would now have the ability to start a killing animation while cloaked, something he currently can't do.
But c'mon, giving him this option wouldn't be bad, right?
I DID imagine Wraith pulling out the skull and spine or the entire head and spine for his uncloaked kill animation, but it's just not realistic.
And i don't mean: "A man couldn't possibly do that!"
I mean that it's not how the game was build, they'd either censor the kill and spawn in a head that he rips off, or it'd be like Demogorgon: You'd expect him to bite the head off, but it's just a lil nom nom. You'd expect Wraith to rip the head off, but he just snaps their neck.
So i just opted to not do that idea.
This goes for the Lightburn marks as well: They fade out because the devs just don't do permanent damage on Survivor bodies.
Wraith's Lightburn marks also fade over time, so them fading on Jake is still accurate to me.
Besides, ripping out the skull and spine isn't THAT original: Many people thought of it before and it'd also be like Predator, and while i know that Wraith has quite a few similarities to Predator, i would prefer if he's more his own thing.

Head: Chain Linked
Body: Fury Waist Wrap
Weapon: Tarnished Sickle Knife
I REALLY like the fire cosmetics and tree cosmetics he has, but they don't mix all that well with others.
I like full outfits, but i like mixed cosmetics that actually work well together even more.
And i couldn't find a really good one until i got to this combination, so i made it my baby.
Been wearing it ever since Chain Linked came out.
-
Dead & Meat.
-
No one for years, but Benjo since last week.
Short clips, no commentating, mainly Killer.
Just my type.
-
I can't go into detail.
And not because i don't want to, i literally can't cause there's no details.
- I found its beta on Steam one day.
- I bought it to try it out.
- I downloaded and installed it.
- I played it.
- Repeat #4 indefinitely.
-
Sure, they already went more animal-like with Demogorgon, don't see why we couldn't go more android-like.
-
I always play, there's no map on which i won't.
-
I'm going to disregard the basic skill requirements like knowing how to loop and generally knowing where Survivors are, and focus more on the Killer Powers.
Considering that, i think Legion is the most skill-less of all.
Just press M2 to start running faster (nothing to do with skill), hit them (basic Killer skill requirement), and either stop using it or run to this other Survivor that the game is revealing to you. (Game gives you a location just like that.)
That's not me saying they are super strong, that's a different story.
This is me just deducing how easy they are to get into.
Trapper and Wraith are quite the good starter Killers, but honestly: If Legion was free on every platform, i'd recommend them as a newbie's first Killer.
-
I don't want it, but i don't not want it either.

This happened to be uploaded yesterday...

Lol you think suffering from a severe virus means you should be coughing?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2293701#Comment_2293701
Begins to mutate you, you get skin decay, and some other symptoms. There's an official Capcom Resident Evil Wikipedia that outlines the symptoms.
Skin decay, yummy!
-
Side-question: In short, what does the virus canonically do to you as a human?
Cause idk.
-
Should? Idk, idc.
Would i remove them? Oh absolutely, i never use them, don't care where i end up, and they're just a 5k BP sink.
Would greatly prefer to see more room on the Bloodweb for BP Offerings & all the Add-ons.
I'd even prefer the ######### Add-ons, cause i still use those sometimes.

That's fine. As long as your fine in general.
People can do whatever they want (okay not literally, i'd rather not see genocides) every month of the year, all fine by me.
I simply don't care about many celebrations because i don't feel involved in them, this one's no different.

Because you're not ๐ณ๏ธโ๐ :)
No, it's the month that's nothing special to me.
-
Bruh, i'd make so much Deviousness money on Wraith.
I'd actually seriously use "The Beast" - Soot if i focus primarily on getting BP.
-
It's like any other month for me, nothing special.
-
You bet your elephant costume it always is!
-
No i'm with @FrostySeal & @Pulsar on this one.
-
Idk which one's better, but i do know they serve different purposes.
Eruption allows for widespread regression if you take your time kicking Generators.
Surge allows for a bit of spread regression if you don't care about kicking Generators.
Really just depends on what you generally prefer to do in a Trial.
Or take both, idk.

Taking Karu's number of 78 for example, we're all talking about Celsius
- In Fahrenheit, it would be ~172
- Kelvin, it would be ~351
Otherwise, the numbers would be way bigger....
For example, if we're talking about 78 in Fahrenheit & Kelvin...
- 78 Kelvin would result in NEGATIVE -195 degrees Celsius - lmao
- 78 Fahrenheit would be 25 degrees Celsius. 25* Celsis is by no means a high temperature :) .... At least for PCs
Edit: Damn you Typos
Just making sure y'all are sure. ๐
-
Btw, y'all are throwing temperatures around, but are you sure you're all talking about the same temperature scales? ๐
-
Well since you can re-blind Killers while they're blinded i say no thank you, it'll just make it easy asf again.

Oh #########, it's been 4.5 years already! ๐
Thanks for helping me realize, sheesh. ๐

I honestly gotta say Darkness Among Us.
I definitely still don't like how they handled the CGI reveal thingy for the Legion, it makes them look like an entirely different Killer power-wise.
I also find it a bit disappointing that the 1 character itself is multiple people.
This makes the Chmeric Horde outfit be very cool, but there's never actually multiple members on your screen aside from Archive memories.
Wouldn't it be a cool kill animation if the other 3 members showed up and they all stabbed the Survivor multiple times?
And Jeff looks pretty cool, and that's also kinda it.
The Perks are blah.
Can't say much more on him, don't play Survivor enough anymore, but he's definitely more at the bottom of the list for me.
-
People will play how they want.
And if they can't do that (having a regular-gameplay Killer), then they'll at least avoid playing how they don't want to.
Also, from their perspective, there's the potential of you trying to trick them.

Nice! That is dedication!
Guess so.
Not really being dedicated for dedication's sake, i'll abandon the thing as soon as they make it unfun for me.

Disagree. Been doling great since I first played him on the PTB. It's a you problem.
OP isn't talking about Nemesis' performance, but about the impact he has on the player.
Like how Oni is an absolute unit by simply existing, roaring across the map when the power's active.

Yup.
Oh btw, Yes, that 1-Token ability it had on release sucked hard.

I feel like if you remove the flashlight mechanic from Alan Wake, all you have left is default 3rd person shooter. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
at least gameplay wise...
I disagree on that.
I see a "default thirdperson shooter" as: You face other person or people, shooting eachother with guns, headshots do lots of damage, maybe take cover every now and then.
In Alan Wake, the enemies have no ranged options besides the occasional melee weapon throw, so most combat is melee based.
This in turn gives Alan the ability to dodge, which isn't a free-to-use move like ducking or moving sideways in any shooter game.
Flares keep enemies away from you, and you can choose how to use the flare as well.
There's the possessed objects and swarms of crows that hunt you down and can't be defeated by simply shooting them. (Unless you got a flare gun. (OP btw.))
Now if your definition of a thirdperson shooter differs from mine, fair enough, then idk what to tell you.
This is mine.
Idk, for such a story-heavy focused game, i think it does more than enough to keep the gameplay fresh.
Certainly wouldn't be everyone's taste, but i have a good time replaying it every now and then.
-
Crawling away with no Hatch spawned yet is still a good tactic.
If you stayed, the Killer would come for you.
Also being downed isn't a loss yet, that's when the Entity takes you up to the sky.

Fun: Making Devour Hope work.

I don't know...
It's the one where you take pictures of ghosts to fight them.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2281724#Comment_2281724
but... can't you do that with basically any game? single out it's unique mechanic and add "but that's also really it"?
I honestly have no idea why they never made a VR fatal frame... feels like one of the few game franchises that justify it... (looking at you half-life alyx)
Maybe.
I just have that feeling more with FF than most other horror games.
With Alan Wake for example, i can remove its flashlight mechanic, and still feel like it has more unique things to offer.
I just don't get that from FF. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
-
Not really.
What makes that franchise stand out is the camera mechanic, but that's also really it.
The rest is spoopy ghosts, and we got that.
Not that i'm against adding it.
We already got a whole slew of names in here, might as well bring this one in.
Just saying that i'd feel like it would be the most mediocre license addition thus far.
-
Got all Killer ones.
-
Nah, too early to do such a nerf, and probably too big a nerf anyway.
Though i gotta admit i like the idea itself, cause it reminds me of the zombos in most other media: Infected? Can't be detected.
