I'm kinda enjoying it.
I'm actually very disappointed that this is "THE BIG EVENT" that they said it would be.
But idk, i'm playing more right now and having more fun.
This is not me saying there's no problems with the game btw, y'all should know i know better than that.
Just giving my personal opinion here.

Is it something that would give a notification prompt every time you log in? Because I've been logging in almost every day, but I only got a message telling me I got 1000 shards + a bunch of bloodpoints the first time I tried to log in during this whole thing.
I've gotten a prompt each day so far.
Perhaps it adds the others without telling you? Is your IS count way higher?

i’ll be home later tonight so when I log on I should be able to claim them all?
Most likely.
Dead by Daylight is celebrating its fifth birthday and the party just wouldn’t be the same without you.Bottom of the page says it.
-
Everyday you get 1k or a few k's.
If you missed any, they said you can get all of them later anyway.
-
A question just popped into my head: Didn't we have a tracker for an event before?
-
Oh i very much know i should give up on some chases, especially cause i main Wraith.
But i just can't abandon a chase, it's not in my nature.
-
See ya' later!
-
I like 'em a lot.
If they need to be changed, then so be it.
But i myself don't know if they should.
This is a very biased opinion towards Wraith, btw.
-
Nope, Autohaven day over here.

For the longest time, I had no idea what Hemorrage did.

I don't think you missed anything, i think the game just said LOL MINE.
Might wanna report this as a bug.

Back when i thought hitting them on the hook actually decreased their health faster.
Not knowing lunge even existed.
Going along with infinites as a non-Trapper.
Ahh, the good ol' days...

LMAO
Sacrifice = Killer stunned.
Lithe = Pallet drop.

Oh okay.
And will you one day buy something?
-
I think it's mainly not named as a meta Perk because of solos not stopping for you.
And i can see why, i myself have runners sometimes while not playing much Survivor at all, and no matter what rank.
Also i love that the title calls it We'll Make. 😉

Temple of purgation has a gen in main building, downstairs. Theres a closed gate right next to it and it opens when gen is repaired. Inside you have chest you can't get to unless that gen is finished
That's pretty sick.

As someone who plays shooters a lot, its important to understand the most important aspect of an SMG is not.
In many ways the Huntress's hatchet is a better SMG than the blades, because its actively better on the move, because the knives just... aren't a 'good gun.'
This is actually an area I think BHVR is insanely weak in, and its clear they don't have a ton of experience with how to do good gun design (Deathgarden for example, also had this problem where its rapid fire 'on the move' guns were terrible and you would ALWAYs be better off using more precise weaponry because the rapid fire guns didn't hit what they were aiming at even at optimal range). It is ok for different games to favor different methods of using weapons, but the issue is that BHVR consistently makes their 'guns' not useful in the scenarios of play that you are in: Bloom too big, too much deviation, too much of a penatly to firing on the move, in games filled with tiny rapidly moving targets. This made quickscoping with the sniper in deathgarden (or with the 'sniper' in DBD) way more effective for downing targets in high mobility close range situations than those actual close range guns.
Unless the Trickster can actively fire on the move and hit a target with nearly 100% of their shots at close range, it isn't an SMG, and thus it falls into the same trap: Its just... better in high mobility close range situations to go with a 'quickscope' hatchet than to try to do some ridiculous track aim shenanigans vs a rapidly moving target where even if your aim is dead on your likely to miss anyway because the weapon has default deviation so high that a center of mass shot in melee range will have a 50% miss rate, which also requires you to slow yourself down for longer and give your opponent more chances to out play you than an SMG. In most shooters, SMGs have the opposite qualities: They slow you down less, require less setup time, and have extremely high close range TTKs that are intended to make quick scoping non-viable compared to them. Obviously DBD isn't a competitive shooter, so stuff like 'SMG push pressure' giving an advantage on the sniper isn't a thing, but even ignoring that concept the knives are just a terrible 'gun.' In any shooter where the guns felt remotely good they would be considered bottom tier. TTK of some odd 6 seconds with a COF that is about twice as big as your target at super close range which slows you to fire? No thank you, I would literally rather use a meme gun like Dualies.
So its less 'SMG vs Sniper rifle" and more "Battle Rifle vs Halo 1 Needler." There is no reality you would pick the needler over the battle rifle, even in scenarios playing around that game's needler's 'strengths.' And this would be fine if DBD (or Deathgarden) if your killer's power was a limited avaliability thing and access to good ones in a match being unequal was deliberate, like Halo. But your choosing to go in with a terrible SMG that has a worse TTK than the sniper rifle with none of the upsides you would associate with an SMG.
So much effort was put into that, i can't even think of anything to say.
But impressive nonetheless.
-
Basically the question is: Do you want a sniper rifle or SMG?
-
No one knows.
We can speculate.

Stacked together in the pile of "We'll touch this perk in another time(never), until then, ######### you"
Don't they have number of how used a certain perk is used? I'm pretty sure if it does, it's sitting in the bottom of 1%, and only because people like to meme around sometimes, otherwise that would be way lower.
I still remember when we got to see the 0.06% used on Deja Vu.
######### was hilarious.
-
Oh what?
Can you show me?
-
Okay, Save The Best For Last was a solid choice.
Guess i'll go boring ol' Brutal Strength, like mentioned before.
-
Well the synergy is definitely there.
But i can't say the outcome was satisfying, which is too bad cause i thought i might actually put the laughable Furtive Chase to use.
Due to me having Barbecue & Chili on, the aura reveal of Nemesis isn't all that good.
Oblivious is a bit better when in loops, but i'm still Wraith so i can miss that minor advantage.
And the Terror Radius reduction is, like i said, already laughable, but on Wraith it's bing-bongable! (God someone silence me before i make another joke like that.)
I can reckon it's fun when doing that Obsession challenge, and probably has more uses on Killers that can't help their Terror Radius.
But this just ain't for me.

I'm glad someone enjoys them just wish they were a little less frustrating to play
Oh don't get me wrong, just cause i like it doesn't mean i think they're issue-free.
Blight is becoming more and more liked by the community (at least from what i see, and not just on these forums), but i can't stand Blight.
Visually very cool though, but that was me showing an example of it being the other way around. 😋

This is pretty much why i can still somewhat enjoy Legion.
It's like my man Wraith: Simple.
There's differences, but this is most likely why i enjoy them.
-
Had this today.
Who tf even uses that?!
-
I don't really feel anything about Trickster changes, i don't play him.
Perk buffs are cool, but don't use them.
Can't say i'm looking forward to grab and hit changes as i don't know what'll happen, but i am happy about it being addressed.
Rest isn't worth mentioning from my point of view.
-
It looks like Entity legs, or the Obsession symbol.
But then in gold, cause why not.
I actually quite like the Crowns, and wouldn't mind showing them off IF THEY WEREN'T TIED TO BASIC COSMETICS!
I am NOT giving up my blue cloak and head chains for that.

Optimization on console never really happened before, and there were anniversaries before.
I'm not sure that even lower frames and some freezes would make them suddenly do it.
And even if they fix it right now, it still has to go through some processing.
At the very least: Don't count on it being a-okay today.

Apparently only one for Frank.
-
Maybe Fire Up, cause i like the idea of the Killer being a boss fight that gets stronger as the Survivors inch closer to beating them.
But not one Killer Perk comes up in my mind when i think we should absolutely have it at base.

They don't sell those here anymore and i legit find that one to be one of the few energy drinks i actually like, so MANY THANKS!

Is it different when i do it on those maps with 3 Tokens as Wraith from an uncloak coming out from behind a wall?

None, Trapper, Oni.

1 more bug fix should be able to completley remove the crashes.

I think so. At least it would explain some of the behavior I've seen from Survivors when I've run that combination (Furtive/Nemesis/MYC). I'm not fully certain, but it wouldn't surprise me if they have it coded to a Survivor becoming the Obsession rather than the Stun.
@Almo able to shed any light on this?
@Jivetalkin13 gave me the answer: Seems like Nemesis triggers on the Obsession change.
So yes, they very much do combine in that way.
Really sounds delicious, can't wait to try it out tomorrow.

Yes, it's awesome and that's why those two Perks pair so well together. The reduced terror radius after each hook isn't really much of a factor, as Oblivious helps you sneak up much better, but it can help against other survivors.
Cool cool, i've been wondering this all day today, many thanks!
So anyway: Funny build, but what's MYC's importance here?
WHICH is what i wanted to ask, but i think i just realized myself: It's to make them change Obsessions more frequently, isn't it?
Fantastic! 😈👍️

I played as Frank first and unlocked the crown for his default mask and then played as the default Julie top right corner said crown unlocked go and check and the only 5th year crown was Frank's
Might just be sending you down a pointless path, but people have reportedly not earned their Crowns after successfully doing what they have to do.
So maybe you also simply got bad luck and have to try again?
Not sure on any of this, btw.
-
- Yes, they gain a chunk of wiggle progression each time you intentionally drop them. This was implemented a long time ago to prevent Killers from endlessly "juggling" Survivors.
- That doesn't sound right at all.
-
Oh, you're talking about it too!
So i have a question for you: When a Survivor unhooks the Obsession and they become the Obsession because of Furtive Chase, does nemesis trigger on that, making them Oblivious and show you their Aura?
-
Not really.
-
Because when you don't use them and you get normal Killers or farming Killers, you'll wish you had used a Cake.

even without perks you’ll get an instant 4K. Just hook one, cloak, tunnel and repeat. That is the wraith way of life. Maybe throw on some bbq and Noed just to make everyone suffer.
Not the point, i wanna fill all Perk slots.

Furtive + Nemesis will show you the Aura/Direction of the Unhooker that is exposed from Make Your Choice and causes them to become Oblivious (not that it really matters for Wraith), gives you incentive to go after the Obsession. Could try Furtive/Nemesis + Dead Man's Switch.
Agitation + Starstruck is usually a good combo and can really punish Altruistic Survivors while giving you even more reason to chase Survivors after Hook if you see them nearby, with that long lunge of yours. Slap on "All Seeing" and you're going to give Survivors a bad time. Don't forget to "paint" a Trail to a more distant/advantageously positioned Hook with that extra speed bonus.
Wait, so Nemesis' effects trigger from your Obsession being switched, and not from being stunned?
-
Mmmm, Dragon's Grip just isn't working out.
Even if i do get a trigger next Trial, that'll be the first trigger in over 10 Trials.
Sorry DG, i like your idea, but you're out.
Think i'll go for boring ol' Brutal Strength next.
Oh, and Save The Best For Last is doing well.
Still don't like making someone special, but it's nice to have if i fail to hit the Make Your Choice Survivor.
