They just removed another breakable wall and it's the small square house in Springwood. I also noticed they removed the aura of breakable walls from Zanshin Tactics.

Are you going to discontinue the breakable walls concept?

tbh i wanted survivors to be able to break breakable walls so they could create new routes for themselves spice up there gameplay

  • we badly need that Mori shop

Seeing the same animaton actually becomes stale eventually. Its not like MK where every character has about 4 kinds to mix it up.

Devs just show time and time again how little they actually care about the survivor experience. Sacrificing our fun for a 10 second mori animation that the killer mains will eat up.

I was already told by some killer mains slugging is the new meta.

I don't agree basekit unbreakable but maybe something like if there is 2 players left then it kicks in. Problem is with many players leaving due to playstyles and such you are left with bullies and hackers mostly. This should not be given freely and needs to apply to certain situations.

I started playing more killer lately and man these survivors are awful.

the 2 left wouldnt work since it directly breaks Devs new basekit mori system which encourages slugging the last to so they wouldn't add it realistically they can only allow self pickup to prevent 4 man slugging extremes

The issue is that only benefits the killer. I don’t agree with infinite unbreakable at all but this also is not a fair option. Because then killers will just 4 man slug everyone knowing the survivors will force bleed out to get out of the match, killer gets their 4K. That takes zero effort, skill and artificially inflates MMR and kill rates

itll just be the new going next on hook 🪝 we need to take away these options not add more

  • @ChaosWam said:

Actually if WGLF got a massive boost PER downed survivor and allowed for self-pickup after 2 were down, it'd be cool

a Ramping effect would have been way better then a massive flat buff also i think the self pickup after two downed effect would fit unbreakable perfectly

  • @Royval said:

I have zero problems with WGLF literally none.

    cool story

  • i think mass groups of SM players should go next in matches to drop that killrate

  • @Feneroe said:

How about no? Survivors don't need any ridiculously strong buffs like that. Instead, just make it so a survivor can force bleed out after being on the ground so long.

Force bleedouts will just be the new going next 2.0

I’ve always had an issue with the imprecise nature of “face camping.” Before the AFC measure was introduced you could realistically face camp at any distance up to 18 meters. Hillbilly and Leatherface and Deathslinger and Huntress and Trickster and Artist and several other killers can still ‘face camp’ beyond 12 meters. It seems unfair and possibly like a lazy oversight that this hasn’t been addressed. The feature restricts some killers but not others. That’s unfair.

AFC is a feature they need to tune extremely carefully cause if devs make its range to far or fill to fast we could have survs jumping off hook without needing teammates depending on the map. That being said i do think we could buff the range by 2-3 meters and decrease the time it takes to fill by 4 seconds. However theres not gonna be a feasible way to make AFC work on ranged killers they are just always have that advantage

  • its fine unless your nurse we gota give nurse the SM treatment

I was saying: - "I see Dracula as a huge power creep to older killers".

Dracula's abilities are literally a mash of different killers powers. And it seems they are going to release more of these types of killers in the future, it's like a new thing now.

And I'm not sure, if I like it.

pretty much we cant have a m1 killer or just a Anti loop power anymore

Yea I think they maybe overbuffed the cooldown, before at 5 seconds it was too slow, so an accidental switching could cost you a chase, now at 2.5 seconds it's a non issue, I think if it was at 3.5 seconds it would be pretty much perfect.

I think the bat form could remain as fast as it is now, since it's meant to be a traversal tool, but it could be made to not see Scratch Marks, so in chase it would be a bit harder to track Survivors.

Yeah, orbs are a bit underwhelming for the wolf form.

And at last, they could make his Hellfire a bit more consistent haha.

    That would be perfect balance

Just touching on some of the comments I've seen:

Regarding Ghostface - the reveal mechanic is so wonky. I've revealed him (and been revealed as him) with just a sliver of visibility, and been literally standing directly facing him like a gunslinger at high noon and couldn't beak him out. It makes no sense sometimes, and a mechanic you can't predict isn't good.

Regarding Trapper - for me, the annoying Trappers to go against are the bad/new Trappers, because they put down traps in places that make no sense and they catch me by surprise. Like I play a fair bit of Trapper and I'm like "why on earth would they put a trap there?" Or maybe they're just playing 4-D chess and I'm just a goober.

Regarding Singularity - Hux can be tough to face, but I don't get mad because he also takes a lot of effort to play effectively, and I respect that.

Agreed Singularity you gotta respect cause hes the complete opposite of SM he requires so much manual effort to put into to reach that high skill ceiling

According to Nightlight, of the 10 most used killer perks only 3 of them are aura vision.

BBQ, Lethal Pursuer and Nowhere To Hide. BBQ is mostly regarded as completely fine and only activates after a hook, which means the max value BBQ can provide is to give the killer a direction to go in after a hook, so that they get back into a chase as soon as possible.

Lethal Pursuer is a one and done (apart from the secondary effect, which is not a big deal). So you don't have to deal with it throughout the match. Meaning, complaints about that are completely misplaced.

Nowhere To Hide is the only perk here that can be activated on demand and it only helps a killer if they are already in the right place. It's also not exactly hard to figure out that a killer has this perk and to counter it. Most people already do that even if it's not in the game because it is countered by what you mostly do anyway. Run away.

Quite frankly, I don't understand what all the fuss is about. We nerfed slowdown multiple times, nerfed STBFL and Sloppy Butcher and demanded that killers use something other than slowdown on top of slowdown and just when we get there, people complain about aura vision. What perks is the killer supposed to use at this point? Pretty much all killer perks can be categorised as either info, chase or slowdown.

Info and slowdown are complained about non stop, so only chase perks remain. But there aren't that many good chase perks and they also aren't good on every killer. A Blight, Huntress, Billy, Nurse, Singularity, Knight, Trickster or Nemesis are probably not going to use STBFL because they don't benefit from it. They also won't use Brutal Strength and most of them have no reason to run Bamboozle.

im starting the Buff Brutal Strength campaign! Buff to 40% it hasnt been touched in 8 years!

Maybe a way for perks not to stack together.

Facing only one regression perk isn't an issue, facing a full stack of regression perks, where your generator loses 20 percent of progress and then locks up and continues regressing at 300% speed is.
Facing only one aura reading perk isn't an issue, facing a full perma-vision Huntress that knows exactly where everyone is at all times is.

Moderation does a lot to mitigate the generalization that the entire concept is bad. Aura reading, like regression perks and many other, could be much healthier if, for example, killers didn't have vision of the survivors from the start of the game AND after they lose a chase… and after survivors drop a pallet… and while survivors are healing…

There's a point where you feel cheated. Like game is essentially getting played by itself for killers.

If you get rid of perk synergy by enforcing a 1 perk per category rule your majorly destroying Builds and variety for both sides which is a main fun aspect of DBD so this could never work

Nope progress is held while blocked

  • @KerJuice said:

Aura reading is not healthy for the game, and there are way too many perks that allow you to see the opposition. It feels cheap to go against. At the very least these need to be dialed back and no more aura reading should be implemented in future perks. If it was up to me, I would keep Barbecue and Kindred, then delete the rest.

So Survivors just want all Slowdowns??? Alright bring back old COB, Overcharge, Eruption and Pain res meta

Upstairs Hooks should not exist at all. No idea who thought it is good to have Hooks at the top of two-story buildings, but they should all be removed. Sometimes they are even stronger than Basement.

Boil Over to keep those is just a poor excuse, but IMO Boil Over should be reworked anyway, since you only find the Perk in very specific and annoying Builds, because for everything else it is just too weak.

RPD library Stairs would like a word. Its been proven time and time again if upstairs hooks didnt exist Survivors would just run there to get a guaranteed unhookable spot escape even if they didn't have Boil over.

The only real solutions is the building has to reworked to allow that spot to be more open with different spots or a staircase for survs to get to it from different directions.

That spot with the pallet that has a drop down could have a staircase going up to the second

  • Sadly theres way to many Survs complaining about all tombstones addons tuff of hair addon and mirror addons if he gets updated hes 100% getting these addons reworked

Tombstone Piece is a given. That one add-on is literally the only thing that makes Myers competitive and halts any ability to buff the rest of his kit. JMT though is fine, I would be surprised if anything happened to it since it's pretty fair and iconic to the character.

Scratched Mirror is a meme and I think it will be fine. I don't like it myself cause the jump scare is predictable, and for the gameplay Myers kinda just annoys you into submission. He holds a 3 gen all game, slaps you, drops chase over and over. You win by healing and boosting away until the anti 3 gen kicks in... but there are a number of people find it scary and fun so I don't think it'll go. It's not like Scratched Mirror is unhealthy for the game.

I do wonder if he'll get a model/animations update at some point though, just to clean him up a bit and reduce the clipping on his Mori. That'd be cool 😁

The perk is clearly geared towards getting all five totems up every once in a while, as they have this whole mini game designed around that possibility. If that is essentially impossible and all that really matters is the first totem, that's a strong indication that it needs a rework, no?

No there has people who got 5 penti totems but thats when the match has been majorly won already but penti is a gambling perk per say Do you just want to slow the gens down or do you wanna wait for the more effects people mostly use the safe bet one token cause killers can only keep 2 pentis at most cause they get cleansed so fast.

The only rework i can imagine is nerfing the values by 15% but Penti totems take 2x as long to cleanse or move the gen debuff to the 2nd token but the 1st token has a 30% Totem cleanse debuff or even worse shorten the token system 5th token effect is now at 3. 4 and 5 token cap removed.

Theres so many ways to make Penti more miserable i think we gotta take it as is

I mean in DBD specifically you're not actually teabagging on anyone. It's just crouching in the case of Survivors.

I agree, banning it will cause a lot of work which is why I think that the solution should be at the gameplay level instead of being passed on to support. They already have enough to deal with.

That first part is so not true Survs Teabag at exits gates and mid chase to simulate it towards the Killers Not to mention Survs teabag each other when they get toxic.

What next you gonna ban Pig and ghostface players when they bag a downed surv? Or how about Drac Wolf form spam charging pounce on a surv we banning them to?

Hot take but he should be the second most hated Killer his over saturation of players for months made me despise him his bugginess like hit boxes and Urobending hug techs is extremely frustrating he also needs to be punished for missing harder just an annoying spam character

No, I've absolutely been through the days of OG Halo (and Call of Duty). Doesn't really mean that they should keep egregious methods of making the game miserable for other people around today. Like even removing the implications it's just a massive pain in the ass to deal with, deliberately wasting minutes at a time isn't fun.

There will always be methods to BM, but this is kind of a different deal to regular teabagging or hitting on the hook or whatever.

I don't think that just because it was necessarily not frowned upon back in the day, doesn't mean that it shouldn't be frowned upon now. I got called my fair share of slurs too in the Xbox 360 COD days. Some things are probably better off left in the past if you ask me.

Making the game less miserable for people isn't a bad thing. Preventing people from being able to bleed Survivors out shouldn't take away from your enjoyment from the game at all, unless you're a particularly unpleasant kind of player that is.

Then you Should know Tbagging is dropping your "sack" on the individual which is very SA if your advocating for humping in game to be bannable then Tbagging would have to be a packaged bannable offense as well regardless if one waste more time then the other.

Which wanting to ban this stuff in the first place will only cause more problems and more work

  • @Gastongard said:

I dont think that is toxic, but it definitely needs a revision, how come the strongest token is the first one? 30% (i think it is) gen repairing punishment should be at least the 3rd or 4th token. Not the first one. Its the same as devour hope exposing people on the first token. Even devour hope needs at least 3 tokens (i think) to expose people and get the strongest debuff.

    Pentimento needs a rework.

During Artists PTB Pentimento Gen repair debuff was at 3rd token then moved to 2nd then buffed to 1 months later however the problem was Killers could never Keep 2 tokens up in a match let alone impossible 3 tokens in a match which made pentimento very weak and useless and nobody used it.

The only rework i can see is removing the 5th token effect when pentimento token is up the 4 remaining effects all activate with nerfed Values

  • @Dreamnomad said:

Yeah. Agreed. 30 seconds is way too long. I think 5 seconds would be sufficient and a limit that you can only earn one token per chase. I also like the idea that finishing a gen gives a token. That feels fair.

You both are ridiculous. Okay i want my Aura perks to active every 4 seconds while in chase. I also like the idea of Aura perks activating every hook. That feels fair

NO were no giving free anti aura just for moving every 5 meters 30 seconds is fair

They are adding a base-kit unbreakable in this new mode to counter slugging, along with flashlight saves and pallet saves, as now killers have to pick up, no more stomp hook. It’s interesting because in the 1st 2v8 there really wasn’t a legitimate reason to slug as no perks or flash/pallet saves were even possible, but now they’ve added actual legitimate reasons to slug-to counter slugging. Only time will tell if it works out, but enabling saves and base kit unbreakable seem to be the natural path for a solution. I’m sure if it goes terrible then they will change it again. I’m personally really happy they are making changes each time to ensure that when it does become permanent it’s been thoroughly play tested.

its not basekit its a Class with unbreakable

  • @Mandy said:

Probably because they won't require as many adjustments to fit into 2v8.

Doctor is complex and would require a lot more done to him than just simple tweaks like Blight and Trapper. Doctor also drops frames for some people and in 2v8 that would just be much worse, so it would probably be better to fix that before adding him.

Also adding popular killers like Blight is good in the long run because it hopefully means every game won't always have Huntress.

Giving Doc a bigger blast radius is not a complex thing its a simple number and if he causes fps drops thats on Devs for poor optimization. oh yeah now we just have Blight and huntress Funnnnnnn

The stuff kinda bothers me a little to be completely honest. I understand that every game will have a portion of the playerbase that's….the way that they are, but it feels weird for the devs to feed into it a bit in a game about serial killers hunting people down and violently executing them and a never-ending game of violence.

Part of the reason I like horror so much is for the horror of it. The creepy atmosphere, the violence, the hulking figures, creepy warped bodies and twisted amalgamations of flesh. Seeing people run around shirtless, or in bikinis and microskirts, or heck, glowing fox tails, it really detracts from that atmosphere.

It also perplexes me how people get all hot over people that would literally kill them for fun without a second thought.

Men are generally down bad but the amount of Women that want to bang the male serial killers like Myers, Ghostface, Jason Voorhees is…. Concerning
