I have 70%, but you have to tunnel like crazy because of the comeback mechanic that increase gen repair speeds by hook, so it's impossible to win if you try 16 hooks before start killing survs.
Also it's so stressful that, at least for me, it's not worth my time anymore.
Also the mode is indeed surv sided. Everybody knows that. BHVR thinks that to make more survs to play they need to be incredibly busted instead of the obvious that is lack o new things to do with each iteration.https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4043235#Comment_4043235
Awesome, right?
Now a 4-man bully squad can join 2v8 and screw killers in this mode too.Bruh your just gonna have to accept Killers are gonna be the 40% of the 60/40 split for escape and kill rates we need survivors for this mode
-
Ghoul definitely needs to be Nerfed idk devs are ignoring this so adamantly
-
It's a buff for Nemesis now there's 4 zombies and there 35% faster now
-
This is a good step from survivors adding more stuff like new classes will make people want to play more survivor now the Flashlighters can join the 2v8 fray

I hope they can make vecna really cool in dbd. I like him in stranger things but he was super underwhelming in season 5. If dbd can portray him in the way i wish season 5 did, i will appreciate bhvr so much.
I initially really didn't like the survivor choices but i am eager to see how it will be done anyways. The cover art is great and you can see there is a boon totem, i would be really excited for a new boon totem perk as i currently run circle of healing and illumination regularly.Yeah… ngl season 5 was very bad like everyone is clowning on it cause of so many major plot holes and how mediocre Vecna was hopefully dbd can do him justice

That sounds as overnerf to me. Kinda doesn't make sense to make him walk slower and force him to walk more at the same time.
I think losing tokens on pallet breaking might work, but probably like 2 tokens. Rather than forcing him to be 4.4, I think it would be better to rework one of his movement speed addons.
Blight without speed addons is not really that big of deal imo. The difference there is massive.Blight is a high mobility Killer he should be 4.4ms cause he already has a powerful mobility power with 5 rushes to help him catch-up and secure a down.
Even with these nerfs he likely wouldn't lose his place as an S-Tier killer he'd just be more fair to go against.
-
I just take long breaks from the game and only come back when it's like an event or a game mode comes back
-
Blight needs nerfs make him 4.4ms and lose 3 tokens when breaking a pallet
-
Ghoul and blight nerfs. Demo buffs that's what I expect

With the new Stranger Things chapter coming out on the heel of the finale, there will definitely be a surge of players when the chapter releases. However, once the hype ends and Vecna becomes just another killer, what reason will people have to stay?
What improvements and fixes are coming out alongside this chapter to keep people playing? The burnout is at an all time high, and players are starting to get seriously tired of no real changes since operation health has been a faliure with substantial changes to improve game health, plus the lack of content for a longer than normal period.
Devs: Were nerfing the Ghoul and making adjustments to what makes him so unfun to go against.

Idk know how they could make Jason exciting and interesting to play as or against though tbh he's just this walking tank maybe if they could get creative with being able to use a multitude of weapons?
Idk but I would say with the new welcome to Derry series I would love for pennywise to come to Dbd with his deadlights

There could be two modes one ranked which would be just mmr that is super fair and downside would be long queue times and sucond like fast game which will be something like now.
I still think more people will on both sides go for faster games due to limited time (some people have just few hours to play and they cant spend 10+ minutes into lobby) and due to more higher chance for win because lets be clear getting people on same level meand harder games than having good chance that your opponent wont be so good plus I believe more sweats still sweat because they want to win and not have it harder so they would go more for fast game than ranked. But we've seen what happens when we split the modes cause of chaos shuffle and 2v8 the queue time increases pretty badly imagine if we had 3 separate game modes (Casual, Ranked, and chaos shuffle or 2v8) queue times gonna be in the hour wait times

I think it already happened like 5 years ago when the queue times were like 5-10 minutes and sometimes even longer people would get irritated by it so they fix it and now they beg for better quality which is fair but true question is:
Can we get that quality without getting long queue times that will go for ages?
I'm gonna say no it's either one or the other

Old distortion was a problem I think new distortion is a lot healthier of a way to earning your aura prevention however I do agree it needs a buff I think if your good in a chase you should be able to earn a max cap of 4 tokens.
That way survivors will have to earn there aura prevention so it's not like old distortion but get a good reward for doing so

I don’t think anyone should get out of game hate or threats for playing a character.
That said, the annoying part about knight has not changed from his first PTB. If you are not at a loop and within range of another, the knight gets a free hit by farting out a guard and standing still. Which makes the playable area much smaller and like artist, just means you’re shift+Wing for the majority of the chase. You say he’s a weaker spirit, but spirit has a much more interactive mechanic which is what’s important (see: F tier skull merchant).
After his minor rework, they also removed the counterplay that existed (taking the guard for someone being chased so the knight can’t use it on them), and now there really isn’t any since he can just summon a different one.
Not saying you should get hate for the character, but definitely not forced. It can be fun to juke the knight with the guard window mechanic or by using knowledge of guard pathing, but sitting at a loop waiting for knight to use his power and walk you down is not fun or interactive.
I get that sandwiching in a loop is awful to play against but there's really nothing that can be done due to his design without making his guards useless.
They tried making the drain rate faster when he's near but that didn't work.
They tried making banners spawn faster but that destroyed guard chases when knights focuses on someone else and survivor can just loop an object and get the banners super easy
Without a total major rework I don't see him being better I geuss just be glad he's kinda rare to see.

All Nurse needs is to not being able to see auras when charging a blink.
That way, the player has to use prediction to know where to blink, if you happen to break line of sight with her.Dracula bat form, Knight guard pathing and Spirit phasing can't see Auras while in those states. The same should happen for Nurse while she's charging and mid blinking
-
Devs priority is Queue times so they intentionally made the matchmaking loose to make queue times fast. I'm assuming if devs ever decide to make it stricter queue times will be 15-30mins long
-
Influx of cheaters has grown as of late best you can do is report em

I have one for you:
Steroids (survivor perk):
"You have been to one too many gyms in your life, and to always pursue the title of the strongest, desperate measures are needed. You feel the extra strength from the enhancements, which allow you to slam the pallets with an inhuman force"
- Increases the duration of pallet stuns by 40/45/50%
If the killer is using Enduring, the effects of the perks will cancel eachother out.
Now that sounds like a perk that could get added to the game

The problem is not only Aura Read to be honest. It is also that screaming and especially Killer Instinct are omnipresent. And to me this shows that the Devs dont want Stealth to be a viable Playstyle because if you want be as stealthy as possible, you will waste A LOT of time. Like constantly running into areas where no Gens are to make sure the Killer does not chase you or being in Lockers for a substantial amount of time.
Like, every Ghoul plays at least Friends Till the End and many of them Surge as well. You would need to be in lockers constantly to not be found. Let alone that you never really know when someone will go down and when it will trigger Surge, so you either have to let go of the Gen whenever the Ghoul is nearby or you have to accept that Surge will trigger, make you scream and then Ghoul is on you. (Without any risk at all, since Anti-Slugging is cancelled)
On top of that, you only play one out of four Survivors. Even if I do everything to avoid being found, this would mean my teammates are the ones being chased. Not only is this kind of cowardish, but it does not really matter for the game who is out first and turns the game in an unwinnable 3v1.
But I dont know when and if they will change anything about Ghoul. The Devs seem to want to have an S-Tier Killer who is braindeadly easy. They also allow Nurse to exist, which is also not really hard to play once you learned her, so I doubt we will see Ghoul-Nerfs anytime soon, especially because they probably make a lot of money. Just imagine, whenever a new player gets destroyed by a Ghoul, they will probably buy the Tokyo Ghoul-Chapter if they want to play Killer, since they see how strong Ghoul is.
Very True I forgot about killer instinct and Screaming as well on top of Aura reading so stealth is even more pointless. Friends till the end has become a very popular perk used by many killers but on ghoul it's like a mandatory meta perk on him kinda like dissolution on Krause.
Ghoul is just too good a cashcow currently and I seriously doubt he will be nerfed soon and extremely doubt rework him till like year 12 of dbd anniversary. Best thing we can do is just keep saying how unfun he is to go against and hope he at least gets nerfed

Then take away stalk decay, and make the stalk take longer. Right now it is too accessible. Like, you can look at a survivor for like 3 seconds and have your power on the ready.
Also, from my testing with Myers in 1v1 scenarios, if you have the right setup, you can absolutely snowball the match out of control, even against survivors that should be much better than you.
Pretty sure @Skittlesthehusky and @Shroompy can attest to thisThe stalk time is fine in my opinion it needs to be that fast to compete with how fast Gen speed is nowadays if we nerf it back down to how long it used to be Myers will no longer be able to apply decent pressure in the Survivors.
I have been maining Myers since his rework his snowball potential is alright he can get a down maybe 2 with 1 evil incarnate the only time I've ever gotten a 4man snowball if survivors were very bad at the game. Decent Survivors will actually use Pallets and Vaults effectively to make Myer run out of evil incarnate time or take advantage of Myers 160 degrees turning rate cap to make him miss a strike.

What’s also really dumb is that Ghoul can injure survivors…apply Deep Wound…through floors.
For example, on Dead Dawg Saloon he can literally put a survivor into Deep Wound from the lower floor with his power. It’s so absurd I keep asking: do the devs actually play-test their own game before releasing this, or is it just about numbers now?
And then they campaign for the “Labor of Love” award… funniest joke since the “Refreshing Civilization” clip.Righttt I remember that Ghoul can weirdly hit a survivor on the second floor while he's on the ground floor and other times he can hit through objects and walls at time. I hope they take a look at that.

Ghoul by the way can be out played by playing a stealth game, he's not one we can just bully around by using head on and beamers with our friends and that's what people dont like about him. Adapt to a different play style (one legacy players had) and find more success. You legacy player haters forget that til noob3 made it cool to loop killers this was a very different game.
Stealth would be a great option if only hadn't literally said Stealth is mostly no longer a viable option in this game and the games main focus is now chases. Maybe if Devs added those very thick bushes to every map then maybe stealth can be option against ghoul but then again all these Aura perks also negate stealth as an option as well.

indeed that is probably best, if people are not happy with it then it makes no sense to keep playing something they are not happy with. But isnt that pretty much what your saying killers did? killers were not happy with the changes so pretty much threatened to quit killer role and stop playing which would push the survivor q times up. If this is what it has come to then no matter what happens, one side walks….resulting in the death of dbd. make changes to prevent killers camping, tunneling and slugging and killers quit. dont make changes or make changes that dont really stop these things from happening and survivors quit.
Killer mains did a massive quit campaign though they complained on forums and other socials medias and content creators making clickbait thumbnails labeled death of DBD or the death of Killer, in my time of dbd (6years) I have never seen this level matches by survivors yeah they complain too but nowhere near the level I've seen from Killers in the recent anti tunnel scrapping.

Myers was my third most played killer until his recent rework, which I'm not a fan of. I performed fine with him too. I guess a difference between us is that I don't think any particular perk is "required" to be able to play this game. Probably why I enjoy Chaos Shuffle so much. Perks keep the game feeling fresh and break the monotony, which helps maintain my interest, but I have no qualms about switching them up regularly. As I stated above.
I've also been playing this game for 5 years. I'd like to think at this point my experience and developed game sense accounts for alot more than perks do.
That's pretty much why Chaos shuffle is pretty loved by many both sides are given random perks instead of meta perks we get perks nobody uses and which creates a freshness when they actually are finally used.
Since the next Chaos Shuffle will feature randomized add-ons and items with add-ons that's gonna be even more chaos.
-
If I recall Mandy said they had no plans to tweak him cause devs thought he was in a good spot.
Which sucks cause he's the most hated easy S-Tier Killer and most miserable to go against and definitely needs nerfs.
-
Ghoul is a way to easy S-Tier killer he gets 200% reward for 50% the effort an average killer puts in cause he has all the mechanics that easily counter everything.
Auto aim first hit injure? He's got it
High mobility and short cooldowns? He's got it
Fast Scamper to counter Vaults and Pallets and apply a 50% hinder to the Survivor? He's got it
I'm not surprised he's the most hated killer Tbh I know the Devs won't rework him anytime soon so the best thing they can do immediately is nerf the numbers on him.
-
I do think we should be Nerfing ridiculously high mobility killers like Blight and Ghoul and take a break from making high mobility and Dash slop killers for the year

As a Myers main (when I play killer), I would go out on a limb and say that they went too far with his buffs.
Slaughtering Strike is much too forgiving, and it can completely bypass exhaustion perks like Sprint Burst, Lithe, Balanced Landing etc.
Flicking on PC is also way too easy to do, and you are almost always guaranteed a down whenever you use it, since there is no counterplay to it, other than pre-dropping.I'd say they need to tone down Slaughtering Strike's duration of the charge itself to roughly 65% of what it is today, and also make stalking take 2x or 3x longer, as compared to what it does today, since it is way too easy to get fully stalked, and gain access to a very strong ability.
I'm gonna have to majorly disagree with that before Myers buff path he was absolutely abysmal to play he couldn't get anybody cause his strike was slow and took to long to charge.
What your asking for in nerfs would severely nerf him like a Skull Merchant treatment severe nerf. Myers would go from a Top B-tier Killer back down to bottom of D-Tier if your nerfs went through. Current Myers can actually compete and be a threat to Survivors.
Plus Myers still has weird issues with him like why does he have stalk decay? Or why is he 105% move speed killer in stalker mode and not 110% move speed? Or why he has a stalk range limit.

indeed, so with that in mind, what is the best solution?
Best thing we can do is like I said just stop playing Survivor once more and more people stop playing Survivor and express frustration on why they have stopped playing like camping tunneling and slugging and Killer queue times are back to 30 mins then they'll have to do something.
-
The answer is they aren't going to they scrapped it and I doubt they'll revisit it even if they tried to it'll just be the same outcome Killers will riot and pretend it's the end of DBD and get any change scrapped.
The only way we can get Devs to listen is to just show were sick of how miserable playing Survivor is and just stop playing.

You can't even really spread it around because as soon as you spit on someone and leave them alone, if they got a mushroom in their hand they're just gonna eat it. I think it's a bad choice to add characters that are represented as children in 4 out of the 5 seasons. For the most part they are recognised as children characters and even in season 5 they are both 16. Yes they aged up characters before but that does not mean it's something they should do - it's a compromise that has varying effects depending on the character. It worked fine for steve and nancy in my opinion, they both have jobs in season 2 and 3. They face horrors early on, similar to laurie and quentin.
Worst thing to happen to dustin is being a victim of bullies. Eleven gets hunted but she has plot armour. I don't think it's right to show these characters being killed, it's never going to happen on the show. Well we dont even know what's gonna happen on the show for all we know these characters dont survive and they have to make a dbd canon similar to Yoichi who turned out poorly imo
If they dress up these characters in outfits they wore years its gonna look and feel weird
Hopper is the ideal choice for a stranger things survivor and choosing anything else is lowering their standards. Thats why if they couldn't do it they shouldn't do a survivor imho.
Robin also would have been a good survivor, but instead she is definitely going to be a legendary for Eleven which is an arrangement i am not happy with. Same with Eddie, i don't think he could have been a survivor, definitely a legendary, but on dustin is also an arrangement i don't like.
All of this leads to my ultimate problem with the game is them promising variety but not everything is as solid or fits in the game in the same way. When stuff like this gets added because they feel obligated to and not because they want to or have a vision for it.Maybe i am wrong and they have a vision for these characters and survivors and present them in a new and cool way with interesting lore good visuals and cosmetics but i am doubtful given dbd's past and i speculate that this is just adding to the bloat
There are plenty of Horror and horror games of kids getting killed plus they are 16 years old now and that's legal adult age in many places I don't see why this is a big deal if they were still 13 and under then i would have agreed they shouldn't be in dbd but this is just a nothing burger to complain about.

Yeah but it was just tunneling feature when survivors did not lose it on hooking.
I get why it had to go but now the problem is there's no infection worry outside of chase, spreading infection to others you ain't going to chase is pointless since cleansing is extremely easy and plentiful and leeched stage 2 99% of the time never happens.
Changes Krause needs is she no longer spawns mushrooms when changing form and Mushroom spawn rate is reduced.

Its just same as Freddy you just don't gain the sleep over time but when you do something not much of difference in my opinion. People will still do objectives and saves its not going to deter anyone who knows how to play the game.
It's basically a mix of Freddy and Sadako it builds up over time from the stuff you do and the Killer can speed it up. However instead of it being an Insta kill like Sadako it just TPs you to another realm and Stalls you for time who knows maybe if you fail the mini game in the extra realm it can Injure or down you.
