I don't want to sound like a broken record, but we do take all relevant feedback to the team. As a part of the Community, it's up to the dev team to decide what to do with that feedback. We see everything, but replying to everything just isn't possible I'm afraid.

So basically Mods can unload the dump truck sized complaints about ghoul to the Devs but it's on the Devs when they ignore us

  • If your on a long win streak I think the MMR should significantly be stricter

  • @Philscooper said:

Im SURE they will nerf kaneki and bring out overpowered killer again, so people shelf out their money for em.

Maybe now with Vecna being the new fun time we can nerf ghoul finally

  • It seems there's problems with maps with pallets that are guaranteed spawns not spawning for some reason which is affecting Midwich

Wow The clown do represent lust

He sucks on fingers we've known he was a freaky lust guy for ages

  • Outta context and someone with no DBD knowledge would see this with shock and confusion

  • Like people be saying they busy getting Vecna 2 ready

  • Honestly yeah there's some god pallets you have to break no matter what that should be removed. Pair that with this maps has strong loops too is miserable to play on

I think they need to make the 1v4 mechanic of her infection a more prominent part of her kit. Removing Leeched when hooked was an important change to rein in her tunneling potential, but it also made it barely relevant outside of the 1v1. This made her entire kit revolve around her head form, which while I find fun on occasion, just isn't that special.

I think a way to make managing the infection a more important part of her gameplay without bringing back the incentive to tunnel would be to take notes from Plague: When a Leeched survivor is hooked, the Leeched is transferred to the unhooker instead. They start at 1% progress, and takes 20 seconds to build until they reach Leeched 1.

I doubt she'll ever be a super popular killer, but emphasizing her combining of 1v1 and 1v4 gameplay can help bring in her own playerbase of passionate mains, like there is for Singularity or Unknown. As of now, she's too outshone by other options for the average dash killer lover, yet too simple and streamlined for the more niche playerbases.

    @corrosion said:

Her leech pressure is effectively cut down. Survivors are no longer in a hurry to find mushrooms. Reaching leech II is basically unheard of, not even I know it exist until I read about her power in detail on dbd wiki.gg

Good survivors will bodyblock for the leeched survivor so you're forced to go back to human form.

Ever since the Krasue anti tunnel infection removal when unhooked destroyed any sort of infection management or priority while it's important to keeps those changes so survivors won't get tunneled off hook we need to change some things to make her interesting again.

    1. a great idea was Infection transfers to the unhooker that should be included

    2. Mushrooms are much to plentiful 4 mushrooms spawn naturally and Krasue when changing forms also spawns mushrooms. A good change would be Krasue no longer spawns mushrooms and mushrooms only start spawning after someone gets infected so survivors can't already have mushrooms on hand in the beginning.

    3. Leech 2 is non-existent a good survivor always cleanses before getting to Leech 2 so leech 2 now accumulates faster.

  • I think Wraith wins the least bug infested killer award

Agree its Chaos if you get No Mither with self-heal perks thats part of the fun. :P

Yeah the chance of perks going against each other is what makes the mode interesting.

If it's just okay I got all good perks again and again and again no chance of hitting a bad perk like what's the point?

  • I really don't like when a perk is designed and it becomes super OP when used in a SWF but useless in solo queue. I think thats something we should be avoiding.

  • I feel like if we're excluding perks and addons for the sake of "oh this just a bad perk so let's not add it in" that kinda just ruins the joy of chaos shuffle?

Like it's the gamble if we get good or bad perks hitting the unlucky no mither or getting a meta perk? If we're just excluding all the mid perks then where's the fun in that?

  • Meh bring it back yearly for the people who do enjoy it

  • That's why devs should be looking at the bottom pick rate perks and be either buffing them or reworking them every patch.

I remember when Devs did this for a while but stopped for whatever reason

    No.

Just to all anti bubba camping suggestions in this thread no.

I am sorry you had a game where Bubba killed you, and camped you.

    It's a video game.

    Bubba's aren't rampant.

Bubba's aren't the most common killer to go against.

Bubba's aren't camping out every other dbd game that gets played.

    Bubba doesn't need fixing.

You just need to realize it's not that deep, and you don't deserve to win every single game.

Ironic the one saying you don't need to win all the time are the ones that hardcore camp with bubba

  • I get Hag is a very old killer but I thought they could expand on her in a rework of drawing Symbols for more then just teleportation.

Like different symbols on different things for different effects or abilities

Sorry, but if you have a 99,9% chance to lose with Krasue, then you are doing something completely wrong.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4045655#Comment_4045655

This is something I also have a problem with. Her mushroom mechanic became redundant, because you get automatically cleansed after being hooked and the only time you need to use a mushroom would be if she infects you and leaves you or if she uses the Chicken Head Add On. But usually Krasue does not play hit and run, because downing a Survivor who is infected is not really hard so there is not really a point of leaving them.

But on the other hand, she needed that change, because her tunneling potential was just too good. (And it honestly did not make sense that her infection was kept like it was on release, considering that they changed that for Wesker because of tunneling. And Krasues infection takes 3 business days to cleanse)

Maybe instead of being cleansed the infection should just transfer to the unhooker that way the unhooked can't be tunneled and her infection spreading isn't non-existent.

This does seem like a good solution to the camping issue, while also mitigating his weaker chase

Splendid glad we're in agreement I was thinking of other ways like bubba enters tantrum if he hits the unhooked survivor but that can cause it to be used offensively so I just took inspiration from new Vecna and it just takes longer to use his power

  • @THE_Crazy_Hyena said:

Because Bubba will often camp you to death otherwise. It is too easy camping with him, with no reprecussions for doing so, as you have the iri flesh and speed add-ons to counter the self-unhook from the anti-camp measure.

And unless you have DS against that, there is no point in trying to unhook.
Every Bubba who resorts to basement-camping for instance. It is a playstyle that is extremely anti-fun, since all you do is either hanging on the hook, or you are holding M1 on a gen.

Having played a lot of Bubba I can say bubba outside of camping is pretty bad you need something like Beast marks for his saw move speed to be decent.

However Bubba extremely good at camping and preventing survivors from saving.

I think a solution so both sides can be happy is Bubba gets beast marks basekit BUT when Bubba is near a hooked survivor his Chainsaw Charge speed takes twice as long to fully charge. That way bubba will be better outside of camping and weaker at camping.

  • This is a tinfoil hat conspiracy theory but it could be low picked perks like no mither have a higher chance of being picked for your build then say a meta perk like DS which has a low chance

I agree Oni should have a 90 degree cap. With how his power allows him to drift and mindgame, uncapped turn rate removes all agency for the survivor in chase.

That said, Oni does take more mechanical skill compared to current Myers just giga-lunging.

Also, on the rare occasion you manage to last long enough in chase vs an Oni that his power runs out, Oni gets a cooldown coming out of power, and then has to actually get a hit or two to recharge. Compare that to Myers having no cooldown and immediately just staring at you for 3 seconds and being back in T3.

I'm glad we agree on Oni however I think the problem your referring too about Stalk times on Myers isn't basekit Myers problem cause he takes 6 seconds while standing still to fully get Evil Incarnate and 8-10 seconds while move stalking only to get evil incarnate.

The 3 second stalk problem is due to his Stalk addons which I believe are the problem. he has 3 stalk addons a 10% a 30% and a 40% increase in stalk speed addon.

The 40% green addon Judith journal let's you stalk 40% if your stalking the obsession

The 30% green addon Jewelry box let's you stalk survivors 30% faster for trade off of half your stalk range.

The 10% jewelry lets you stalk non moving survivors 10% faster. This ain't really a problem.

I believe Judith journal and Jewelry should be nerfed first before we nerf Myers himself to see if it's more fair and better.

    Well, that is arguable.

The main counterplay you have is stunning him, which is pretty hard considering the speed he has.

As for the visual warnings.... eh? He gets the glowing knife (awful choice, looks bad), but I would appreciate the pop-up like his old power had?

I've seen some good counterplay from survivor when there in a loop with mikey and they hear him charging up they leave the loop so they don't get hit and I thought that's pretty smart of them.

Oni has the downfall of being an absolute unit, he's loud, angry, flaming red, very easily hits invisible walls / corners if not careful with mouse movement, and above all far easier to predict with his dash than myers. the comparison in how the 2 deal with their approach are completely different, let alone how they 1 tap someone. Mind you, myres also oddly behaves like a wraith coming out of stealth with lightening speed.

Oni being a loud flaming red ball is not a disadvantage to him when he has great mobility. I just don't think he should be able to J flick with the turn rate restriction we at least had a chance dodge his slam when it's a decent Oni your just gonna get hit no matter what you can't make him run outta time most of the time.

  • @Leon_van_Straken said:

Well another thing I noticed yesterday.

I think we all can agree that the most annoying part about Myers was that he could stalk someone to 99% and pop it into someone elses face.

If I recall it correctly BHVR wanted to fix this bad experience against him.

Well beat me if I am wrong but doing exactly that is still possible?

Well Myers does have stalk decay you can 99% the stalk but after like 10 seconds it decays back down to 50% and devs addon the little activation animation.

Devs just wanted to fix the forever hold 99% stalk and the .5 sec activate into stab with an animation so they pretty much accomplished that in their eyes

  • Yeah the problem with Chaos Shuffle is there's no protections from the cheese from both sides

Do you know if all addons can be optained as killer even the meme ones that are terrible, because i only read somewhere that trapper can get padded jaws but Idk about other addons such as those on chainsaw killers that dissable instadown??

Here's a list of all excluded addons from the chaos shuffle pool

    20251211-133311-7e2.jpg
  • She's just boring to play as an infection is useless outside of chase since it's so easy to cleanse

  • Slinger he's has only like 3 good addons

  • 20260113_184036.jpg

I thought y'all were joking for a bit but no they actually left out fog vial what the heck?

  • Yeah he should just be able to tp from anywhere as long as he as exit points setup

  • @indieeden7 said:

I've tried so hard to enjoy playing against new Myers but he really does just feel so uninteractive to play against. The chase's outcome is entirely in his hands.

He essentially plays like an Oni who doesn't even need to get a hit to get his power and it takes him a fraction of the time to do so, not to mention the unnecessary removal of his turn rate while dashing, it all leads to survivor skill meaning nothing in chase, even Ghoul allows for some counterplay through the mere existence of an actual cooldown after a failed dash.

He still has turnrate restrictions it's 160 degrees unlike Oni who actually has 0 turn rate restrictions

  • @Leon_van_Straken said:

New Myers really feels opressive when he reaches T3

This is kinda a good thing. But I must give OP some points here. I often notice it myself, that Myers loses his T3 after a long time just to take 5 seconds to reach it again. Atleast it feels like this from time to time.

Also dropping Pallets against him stops him only for a short amount, since he can instantly charge his M1 up again.

Maybe he could get a bit of Onis Power in there that he loses a bit of his T3 if he shredds a pallet.

    @killer_hugs said:

    <stares at a survivor for 2 seconds>

<forces survivors to pre-drop every pallet on the map for the next 60 seconds>

it's just obnoxious to play against but that's the state of the game

Anyone having a problem with Myers should be also directing there attention to Oni as well while in Bloodfury mode he has extreme mobility when demon dashing and when attacking in demon dash he has no turncap restrictions so he has 360 degrees available to attack which is very oppressive while Myers has 160 degree turning restriction for slaughtering strike and he has no mobility options.

Furthermore Oni has faster recovery from demon dashing a pallet and can catch up to you faster cause he has demon dash while Myers gets heavily slowed from breaking a pallet for 5 seconds.

I'm just saying if we're advocating for Myers nerfs I expect the same for Oni.

  • Sadly there's just nothing interesting about Xenomorph to make me wanna play him I was just expecting more from them to do with the license involving like eggs and facehuggers and chest bursters.

But instead we just got Alien with Tail anti loop and dealing with turrets is just a chore I like the tunnels though and btw Xenomorphs are know for there stealth and tactical ambushes yet there's nothing in xenomorphs kit that has stealth not even addons which btw are just bland except like two addons.

  • While I love 2v8 I can understand the appeal of Chaos shuffle that so many love everything's random with perks and soon to be items and addons breathing fresh air instead of the same meta again and again

  • @Rokku_Rorru said:

What could they actually do to deathslinger to make him fun to play against and stronger? Because I feel like there isn't really much more they can do, he has nasty combos with other killers which is a huge plus from 1v4 and if you can aim he counters sprint burst.

I wonder if the new class changes might help him, I can't really say he is in an awful place, he just isn't effective solo and is better working with the other killer honestly.

If you notice how they buff other killers in 2v8 giving extra dashes or more range on abilities they can give Slinger longer harpoon range a stronger chain durability to compensate the range buff and faster reel speed and Harpoon velocity.

Going for far long range snipes could be fun and rewarding in 2v8.

  • @FerrousFacade said:

I think Nemi still needs just a little bit more love but the extra zombies has been fun for me on both sides (I didn't play Nemi at all but a duo did), the extra info alone is a huge and I think undervalued part of the additional zombies. Marvin's blood or a slightly weakened version of it sounds good to me.

Slinger is a lot harder since he is already quite strong 1v1 and extremely oppressive 2v1 but something to assist mobility or a reduced terror radius could help.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4044950#Comment_4044950

I think additional range on PH would be fun but likely wouldn't make him much stronger. Part of the problem right now is that the attack travels from his sword along the attack path, shooting from further just gives the survivor more time to dodge. The iri that breaks pallets (without the additional cooldown) might be OK or the mangled/hemorrhaged addon. I do think part of PH's weakness is that he is just hard to hit with unless you practice a lot so some of his weakness is just people like me playing him poorly.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4044991#Comment_4044991

I don't think we will ever see a shorter queue time for killer in 2v8, maybe it could be reduced a bit but killer will always draw more people. Playing with a friend on a role you can't normally do so is just impossible to trump. I play a lot more killer in 2v8 than I do in 1v4, in large part because I can queue with a friend and play survivor while waiting, and would bet I am not the only one doing that. The fun of the mode on both sides needs to be prioritized above queue times.

Pyramidhead ranged attack is like a wave that travels from the sword to the end of the path.

PH has an addon that makes that Velocity much faster it should be added in 2v8 (PyramidHead punishment of the damned Velocity increased by 14%)

  • @Abbzy said:

Yeah slinger needs buffs because that reload speed isnt even his best i believe (its not his green/blue addon).

Pyramid head needs some range buffs or his iri addon for range because 1,5 longer range isnt that great and he didnt got anything usefull than small range and having longer trails on the ground (the killer instinct isnt bad but I dont consider it that great compare to other things like dounbe the duration of his power from 10 to 20 seconds i believe).

Nemesis still needs marvins i think but having 4 zombies is still good I only hope it wont split the game into two like twins changes do.

Yeah Pyramid head also needs buffs

  • @tjt85 said:

They could possibly make Slinger 4.6 m/s to help him get around those gigantic maps a little better. But that's all he really needs since his 1V1 is already very strong. I'm a little worried Chucky will suffer from the same mobility problem when he's added to the mode as well.

But to be honest, for the most part I don't think many Killers need a buff in 2V8. In my experience, it's been the most balanced of all modes (with an almost exact 40/60 Escape / Kill rate).

That said, anything that might help improve variety would be a good thing because I'm tired of seeing either a Huntress or a Wesker in every other round.

Yeah Slinger being 4.6 would help him and Chucky will be okay he got his old scamper back and his Slice and dice received a lot of buffs he got a 50% slice and dice duration buff you can use that for mobility it's what I've been doing

Wouldn't change anything because people would miss the icon or ignore it and we'd be back to the same thing. I got accused of cheating multiple times of 2v8 including from streamers and I watch their vod and it shows the icon literally right there. Lol.

Well it makes a sound notification when it triggers so it's kinda hard to ignore

  • Leatherface wearing the crown as the king of Camping he does need to be looked at to reduce his camping potential

  • A problem with the new chaos shuffle is there excluding a bunch of addons from the random pool

    Realistically?

On their own, probably The Lich and Dracula. Even if they don't currently possess the power to defeat The Entity, it is likely that they could learn how to do so with their advanced knowledge of the arcane. Heaven forbid they compare notes.

After those two, it gets murkier.

Firstly, you have Pinhead. It is theoretically possible that Pinhead's master could take on The Entity. Theoretically.

Same with The Mind Flayer. We really don't know all that much about it, only that it called out to young Henry across time and space, crossing dimensions with its voice alone. We know it certainly does not rely on a physical body, and that it is capable of enhancing humans FAR past their normal limits.

Sadako is also pretty crazy in her lore, iirc. Not sure if it's beat or challenge The Entity crazy, but I remember it being nuts.

Lastly, we have the ideas. They aren't so much capable of defeating The Entity as they are not necessarily beholden to it.

This would be The Shape and The Executioner.

Pyramid being a physical manifestation of James' guilt and Michael being the Shape of Evil itself.

As much as I would like for the Entity to have a cosmic rival Mindflayer kinda lost that right after season 5

  • Maybe Aura should notify you when your revealed like in 2v8

I would like a avoid system, but sadly I think people would abuse it too much.

"oh you playing ghoul? I'm just going to avoid you for the next 30 days"

I think it could still be possible we can just lower the amount of available slots down to like 10 and then it'll be fine you won't be able to avoid every ghoul.

Those slots will remain filled for 30 days so if your wasting slots for killers you dont like to vs kinda on you when you get hackers and can't avoid them and let's be honest this system is kinda needed some people need to be hit with that avoid button.

  • @THE_Crazy_Hyena said:

In theory, a character like Vecna (D&D) would be able to beat the Entity, through the use of powerful magic. But that would also require him to lose the mark that the Entity put on him, that essentially nerf his powers by a lot.

    @killer_hugs said:

i think DND Vecna is supposed to be a God so i assume he should be able to.

i also assume he's only participating in DBD because he was bored completely and utterly dominating his own universe.

While Vecna is indeed vastly more powerful then any other Killer he's still not as powerful as the Entity.

Although I do think the reason why Vecna has the mark the Entity does consider him a potential threat so he nerfed him with the mark also to be more fair to the Survivors during a trial only being able to use basic spells.

Cause if Vecna was unmarked he could just cast Meteor and wipe everyone out or Time stop or heck even power word Kill which he just tells you to die and you do.

  • He's okay I just don't see the appeal to him anymore when there's killers so much more fun and unique then him

  • @Pulsar said:
