extremely doubtful, killer mains would have a meltdown if bhvr tried to fix tunneling, tunneling is the easiest and most effective way to win, the community has been begging for mercy from camping and tunelling for years so......
So there is nothing to fix with tunnelling/camping/slugging because there is nothing wrong with those tactics.
You just said yourself, those are the most effective way to win, why as Killer i should not use them ?

So what? You want to make gens take 120 seconds or something?
Making gens take longer isn't going to help.
Making gens take longer isn't going to help, but allow one one gen speed perk at time on a single gen for example will help a lot.
You have BNP?Good but as long the gen is under the effect of BNP, PT will not work.
OR add a cap to how much speed progress a single gen can have, let's say 20%, once you hit that cap, anything else won't work. SO still 80 seconda base time but with cap or perks limits

See that's where you're wrong, today I've had about 10 or so games where the killer has tunnelled just me but it's not been too bad, but every single other time I've played since the DH, BO, and DS nerf, either myself or someone else has been tunnelled. It's happening a lot more than you're making it out to be. If need be I will screen shot and post EVERY single game I play from this point onwards to prove it.
So ?
As long as tunneling is the best tactic in play to be able to win, it is obvious that it will happen more and more often.
You don't need any nerfs, you need to give the killers something that has a higher value than tunneling.
For example a version of dyling light or tanatophobia as a basekit, the more hooks the killer makes the more malus the survivors have to repair the generators, in this way a killer want to do less tunnel and more hooks.

I spent hours messing around with blight in a bot match, and then went to give it a try in real matches where I went up against a prestige 50 mikaela, they all had distortion so my lethal didn't work. They were most likely on coms telling each other where I went, and by the time I found someone 2 gens popped. Yeah matchmaking is really good.
As much as bots can help understand the mechanics of a certain killer, they are still bots, they are not a valid tool for learning to play against real opponents.
Prestige 50 means absolutely nothing, just that BP was spent on that survivor has nothing to do with skill or mmr
Lethal alone is of little use if you don't have at least one or another pair of aura perk and at that point you can also put a full distortion group in difficulty
2 gen on first hook is pretty normal, not that that's fair, generators are fixed too fast, but it's common
Blight or Nurse or Spirit are certainly very strong killers but they are not a guarantee of guaranteed victory, they are extremely complex to use, require an incredible number of hours to be used effectively and are not at all suitable as an entry level killer.

I think you're focusing too much on balance here and not Quality of Life which is what this is intended for, and where the biggest gains are going to come from. It's why I've said from the start not to focus on balance when discussing this feature, as information alone doesn't change the killer experience.
Solo survivor was unarguably the group that was in dire need of attention in respect to qol in the game.
Even if i'm a Killer main i don't care much about this change and if help to close the gap between solo Q and SFW is fine BUT "focusing too much on balance" is something really bad to say.
Balance should be your first concern but seem you really don't care at all about balance and in a game like that balance is everything

I'm new to killer had about 2 dozen games as nemesis. A lot of my games were going good, but now I'm going up against survivors with like every second chance perk in the game with prove thyself toolbox, and medkits with adrenaline. I felt completely useless I tried to mind game, I tried finding the weakest link there was none. I got like 1 hook. Honestly is this the type of survivors I will constantly have to deal with now? IS the mmr system saying hey you are as good as these survivors now? I'm a killer, and I felt completely useless as the killer. If these are the type of survivors I will be constantly facing then killer Isn't for me. Those survivors just had way too many perks that made it impossible to do anything.
After 24 games in total you're already asking for nerf ?
First of all, unlock useful perks, try out various killers and learn strengths and weaknesses. Nemesis is undoubtedly strong as a killer but it's not exactly easy for beginners. Record your games, see where you make mistakes and learn, in the end the game is all about learning from your mistakes and improving yourself.

Disagree. Half the killers in the game have ways to ignore the strong pallets/loops, even weak killers like Trapper do. This is perfectly illustrated by the fact Otz put Gideon as "killer-sided map" in his tier list despite most of the forum constantly complaining about this map. DH is overrated and is not a 2nd chance due to how unreliable it is, if you really get hit by DH more than once per game then you're getting outplayed, even Otz who constantly complains about this perk still wins his chases in 30 seconds.
The reason why the game feels hard for killer is not because chases are too hard (they aren't), it's because no matter how good you are in chase, survivors can just play like bots and press M1 then they will win due to math. There should be more perks like DH which allow outplay possibilities for both sides, I know getting hit by DH is annoying but think of the alternative, now if all 4 survivors run a perk like Lithe then now it is just a guaranteed 10 sec loss for the killer at every chase, so survivors get even more free time to press M1, which the game definitely does not need more.
Imo generators as a whole need a rework and the game needs actual secondary objectives for survivors. "Just do gens" is currently the optimal strategy for survivors in 90% of cases, and it's boring for both sides. Survivors doing gens are for the killer, equivalent to what facecamping is for survivors.
Killer is camping? Just do gens.
Killer is playing normally? Well, still do gens.
Want to open a chest, cleanse a totem, open envelopes, things that the game gives you BPs for? Well, you're throwing, you should be doing gens instead.
Wait, why did you even bring a flashlight? You should have brought a BNP and just done gens.
Trapper can't ignore strong loops or pallet, he can try to set up a trap and hope no one find that trap and try to push a survivor on that side of the map. This is not "ingore strong pallets"
Gideon is a "killer sided map" not because how easly you can avoid pallets, it's a "killer sided map" ( no it isn't but ok let's say it) because is indoor, small, easy to navigate and if you're lucky enough gens spawn on the lower floor. I won't even comment on DH and the survivors need to have more second chanche persk because it's hilarious
On the other side i do agree with you regard a new objective both for killer and survivor

This would hit killers way way worse than survivors. How do people think these things are equivalent?
Not really, i could finally use perks not related to kicking gens because i have to ! I can even care less to gens and more on chase or ambush or stealth or anything else as long i know gens are not be done in 20 seconds
Also they were testing that stupid mori new system with base BT, why not do a test and try out how the game it would be without gen perks ?
-
If they were to remove all gen perks for both killers and survivors today, the game would improve in an incredible way

Yeah solo survivor is unplayable.
It's almost always Legion, and that killer press a button injure every survivor, and see their aura all the time. If survivors only knew what to do, but never because matchmaking is made for killer mains. So yeah 0 skill killer, just press a button requires zero mechanical skill, see you, can't outrun etc.
Surprise surprise about 50% of games vs legion.
Any serious game let players to ban something. But dbd no
Oh my god now Legion is OP and also has a magic power to instan injure every survivor ! I guess my Legion is bugged because i don't have that power. BHVR fix my Legion right now ! Oh and i want to see AURA all the time too with Legion. Yes, mine is totally bugged because no, i can't see survivours aura all the time either
you guys are just delusional

There was a time when killers saw 'kicking a gen' as a horrible, inefficient, waste of time and effort.
Apparently that has become 'nothing' and, for a lot of killers, is even more important than chasing survivors in the current meta.
It is still a waste if time and effort but you are forced to do it
As long it will be possible to repair a gen in 30 seconds, Killers are forced to bring slowdown and kick gens the whole time
I like that ? Not at all. I'm having fun ? Not at all. I want to try to win ? Yes and i sadly have to run the same perks and kick gens over and over and over
-
Oh god here we are again, yeah let's start "NERF NOWHERE TO HIDE" now
People will be pleased only when killer will have no perks, no mobility, no powers and he'll be forced to stand there watching the sky and say "gg" at the end of the match
NO this perk is not too much, you can
*Use distortion
*Run away
*Hide in a locker
that's it, nowhere to hide is now useless
-
He is a solid killer right now but still need a bit of buff, the banner still make no sense at all and it should be removed ( +50% speed buff AND endurance? really ??) . He is amazing to hold down 3 gens, he is amazing on some loops and against many pallets and guards can cover several roles during the game.

I’m really curious if there’s a way to nerf them without hurting solo? I seen many discussions on this topic and some say it’s really hard to say cause there might not be a way. I mean I know this may come off like a us vs them posts again and I understand that. But I just really tired of facing them all time when I come back from a break and also want to play an event. Thank you for your time for reading this silly post of mine again. But anyway hope you all have a good rest of your night and weekend. :)
Some ideas
Corrupt intervention or Deadlock as basekit for Killers
Rework BNP
Only ONE repair speed at time work on gen so PT or BNP or Hyperfocus but not all togheter
For every hook the killer make, survivors receive a 2% repair slowdown penality ( and this is also a "buff" for survivor because incourage killer to don't tunnel )

We need a replay system. It's really that simple. Have compressed replays that let us watch the match from all players perspective.
Poof! All the cheaters would instantly be exposed.
Problem is, even if they are exposed nothing will happen to them as long this game as so many security flaw and, since those same exact cheat are in the game for YEARS, BHVR simply don't care at all
-
Really BHVR this is insane right now, i can't have a single game anymore without a suspcious player or an explicit cheater
Just had a game where one survivor was able to teleport faster than me and i was the Dredge, so his cheats are better than the power i have, this thing really made me laugh
I don't even report anything anymore, what's the point in that ? I've to spend a lot of time to provide screenshot or even a video for..nothing ? Just to see people prestinge 100 teleporting around the map ? If you don't care about cheaters in your game why should i ? I'll just drop the game if i see something strange, wait 5 minutes and press next until i'll not even care anymore and i'll uninstall the game

It's not fun, no. Not even for the killer I think.
However, I can make a distinction between a killer that starts to tunnel at 5 gens and a killer that only start to tunnel when only two gens are left.
One has no sense of fun, the other one sorely needs to tip the scales a bit.
I do start to tunnel as the game begin, your fun is not my concern at all
Or you're tryin to tell me you wait at least 2 minutes between one gen and another ? Do you give time to the killer ? Let me guess...no
So why, as Killer, i have to stop using one of the best tactic in this game ? Are you going to do the same ? Let me guess...no
Why survivors can use all the best, smart, tactics and perks while the killer have to be a clown without brain and tactics ? Oh wait..you want to win right ? Guess what..i want to win as well

The fix should be removing the possibility to camp and tunnel early game and only allow it past some point. That's the fairest way to do it, the how to is the tricky part.

Again, make other exhaustion perks more useful, I'd rather bring other exhaustion perks but most of then have too many caveats to be useful when you actually need them.
Well i can say the same for Eruption then, i'd rather bring other slowdown but they are awful so..
-
As many people said that before, if you want to "stop" tunnel/camping you have to provide a reward to killers for not doing that because, right now is one of the best ( if not the best ) tactic
Let's say something like "if the killer is 20 mt away form a hook one random gen is blocked by the entity as look you're hooked" or " each hook providde 2% slow repair speed" of course are just silly suggestions but you get the point
As long, as Killer, i have a HUGE advantage to tunnel/camp i will do it as much i can, as long survivor use BT as offence ( bodyblock) instead of a defence i will tunnel them hard and so on. Provide buff to hooked survivors just make me tunnel them more and more not less
Also lol at "report tunneling" come one
-
He is a lot better now but still there are few tweeks he deserve
Jailer need a rework he is useless, reduce the banner bonus to surivor ( +50 speed AND endurance is way too much ), a better and more precise summon ( there are spot where you can't summon your guards like in front of breakable doors ), a slighty better interaction between guards and pallets/vault, a slight better ( guards still stuck themself on objects )
Other than that he is fine, no matter what some content creator say, he is pretty strong and he has a very solid gameplay
-
Some perks should be adjusted ( not nerfed or buffed, just adjusted ) but instead of a meta shakeup i'd rather want to see a map shakup, a game mechanic shakeup, new objective, new chase mechanic, new hooks mechanics those are more important than DH or Eruption

The game as it was originally designed and launched was balanced around the fact that survivors couldn't directly communicate with each other. Allowing survivors to group up and communicate over voice comms beforehand breaks the games balance with a sickening crack and swings games heavily in survivors favor.
Nothing is more miserable for me as a Killer than going up against a full SWF constantly communicating over Discord, Xbox Party chat, etc since they can coordinate heals, unhooks, generators, etc. There is nothing I as a killer can do to counter that level of coordination.
I know SWFs aren't going anywhere but bare minimum I would like to be told as a killer at least how many survivors in the lobby are part of a premade group so I can decide if I want to go through that kind of pain or not. EIther that or increased BP incentives for killers, like an extra 25k BP per premade player in the group; starts at 50k with 2, 75k with 3 and 100k extra BP for a full SWF.
"There is nothing I as a killer can do to counter that level of coordination."
Yes there is something you can do, it's called learn how to play
How many hours do you have on your shoulders ? 10, 20, 100 ? You're still in the school playground mate and i have said dozen of time, learn the game, learn from your mistakes, record your gameplay and review them, learn the game with an easy killer then move up with the difficult one. Also, BP are kinda useless once you have unlocked all the perks you need
It's not only you, many suvivors or killer cry for nerf that or that and claim "it's impossible to win" but the truth is you lack skills and there's no shame in that, you just have to pratice more. Some games are more difficult than others, sometimes you'll 4k sometimes you get 4 people out in less than five minutes, SWF are just people like you and me, they are no Gods, they can lose or win, they can do mistakes like you or me.
-
Very Fun are those killers i main, Dregde is to me the most balanced killer and i simply love to play that turkey, also the christmas outfit, the evil snowurkeyman is adorable ! Murder with a carrot on your arm..come one ! PH is the second one, balanced, strong, able to stard against anything without problem, a real powerhouse ! Legion was my "learning killer", probably the best one to learn how to chase and mindgames, Knight is strong no matter what people say, strong, solid, the recent buff was interesting, can do a lot of things and last the Deathslinger..i mean how could you not love a maniac with a speargun ?
Fun are those i like to play but sometimes i just hate them, Cannibal for example when you hit a foliage or an invisible obstacle just make me scream, Pig when the RNG is against you, Plague when your puke simply refuse to hit
Ok are...well ok. Sometimes i play with them but i don't see anything special about them, to me their power are meh
Boring simply i don't like their gameplay.
Nope oh come on, they are just a waste of time for me, i've no fun with OP killer at all, i have no fun with K-Pop serial killer trhowing jellybeal and the wright is just meh

"will still lose and refuse to learn"
That's the problem. Look how many cry for nerf are being posted daily by people who simply are unable to learn how to play, learn to loop properly and so on. It's a lot easier come here and cry instead of learning something

Take fearmonger. You don't need iri stuff every game. Check the whole list. There are a lot of things there. Pick the thing you like most. Like deathslinger or legion - now you don't need any perk or addon to counter DH.
Fearmonger only work while you're working on a gen and for the next 5 seconds, it only counter Sprint Burst and Aura perk abilities. It MAY counter DH if the survivor is injuried and caught completly off guard
Slinger and Legion are not counter to DH, deep wound is, Legion have to hit you once in Frenzy, STOP for 3 seconds ( cause he can't hit you twice unless you're the 4th hit ) and then hit you again while you are still under the deep wound effect, same goes for the slinger or basically everything you have mentioned
-
@Gandor said:
DH can be countered by killers: deathslinger, legion, trapper with lenghten jaws, billy, bubba, any tombstone meyers, doctor, huntress with venomous concotion or iri head, pig with interlocking razors or slow release toxin, clown with pinky finger, ghostface especially with victim's detailed routine or night vision monocular, oni in ability, pinhead with slice of frank or original pain, blight with Iridescent Blight Tag, nemesis with Iridescent Umbrella Badge, artist with o grief o lover or Garden of Rot, dredge with field recorder or Iridescent Wooden Plank, trickster with Iridescent Photocard, knight with assasin or blacksmith's hammer, wesker with Iridescent Uroboros Vial
perks: fearmonger, blood echo, septic touch, starstruck, dragon's grip, devour hope, haunted ground, NOED, hubris, iron maiden, make your choise, rancor
Situations: being in the open, not being at pallet, being at pallet but having perfect timing (yes survivor can't drop pallet during his DH animation giving killer some very short time), trying to vault window (just wait until survivor commits), killer having bad ping.
Quite a long list. It's so long, that I actually don't like to play the perk and never equip it - especially for the very last reason. And for a lot of these things balance landing just provides better value (sure for all the exhausted effects this does not do anything). What I am trying to say is, that DH has now huge list of possible counters. And it requires skill from survivor to successfully use. The perk is strong, but it's very far from being as free as say eruption and I provided a list of counters to the perk - and it's quite large as you can see (especially compared to say eruption - where the counter is only being in SWF and that's it). The perk is fine
A long list to say "deep wounds" and exhaustion are counter to DH
Also, do you know exposed don't prevent DH right ? You can be exposed and use DH and receive a deep wound instead of being downed
-
To me is Decimated Borgo, there is nothing right on this map, color scheme sucks, pallets and loops sucks, gens spawn sucks. I mean i would prefer to play in Garden of Pain 10 times than play a single match on the Borgo map
But since it was not an option i'll go with the second one i hate most, Badham. Too weird, too many god pallet/god vault/house of pain, no hooks in the main building ( unless there's the basement ), some path are bugged i guess too ( there's a spot where survivor can run through but killer can't even if there's a passage )

Not fun to play her, not fun to play against her ( for me at least). F* Nurse , i could live without her. Blight is insane but his Addons Adrenaline Vial and Alchemist Ring are overtuned af. hard to do if 1 gen is 5 feet from the hook, 1 gen is deep in a deadzone corner behind the hook, and the 1 safe gen cant be worked because he kicks it with a guard every time you get on it with surveillance and the call to arms addon
" 1 gen is deep in a deadzone corner behind the hook"
And why you're not going to work on this one since, as you said, only one gen is left ? If the knight want to come over there, go to save the one on the hook and work on the other gen

It’s more about changing your perk build accordingly if you know that you’re dealing with a team on voice comms.
Using enduring + spirit fury? Once this has been communicated to the rest, the remaining survivors will just predrop pallets in chase.
Using STBL? The Obsession will be sent to bodyblock/hook rescue in chases
Running Totems + Pentimento? A swf would be able to pin down the location of the Pentimento totem easily
Using a stealth Killer? Comms straight up counters this, and this is without even taking the updated survivor HUD into account.
If you enjoy going against up teams with all these disadvantages, props to you. But all these disadvantages all do add up and can sometimes be the deciding factor in an outcome of a match.
I’m interested in how BHVR would “balance” Killers around this considering that they are adopting a “wait and see” approach for now.
I'm not trying to be the Devil's advocate here at all, really i almost never ever played as survivor so i'm not on their "side" ( even i do not think there's a side but i won't go deep in this topic ) may let me ask you something. In all your example you basically said the same thing "they adapt to you" ..they comms about spirit fury, they comms about stealth and so on. Now question is, why you do not adapt as well ? You let your build and perks carry you and those perks/build fail then you fail but it should be the opposite, perks should enanche your gameplay and strategy but you should perfom well even without them or at least come up with a different plan, you have to change on the fly your tactic is something goes wrong. They send the obsession to bodyblock ? Tunnel the ######### out of her, i may lose STBFL but you lose one player. You'll predrop ? Fine i'll recharge SF faster and you'll create dead zone for you and i'll hunt you there. Then yeah, you'll probably going to lose many match but that' the fun i guess, have a whorty challenge, if you lose well good for them, learn from your own mistakes, but if you win oh god that's awesome don't you think ?
-
Probably i'm the only killer main who have no problem to play vs SWF or have issue with the new HUD. I mean yeah they are able to talk or see what is going on so...? Sure it is a strenght but being able to communicate or have a clear view of what is going on is not an "auto win", to me is an option to get better, face a real challenge, learn how to play and win against the odds and i do agree with BHVR, if soloQ and SWF are on the same level then you can implement real changes and balance the game more, otherwise you'll hurt only soloQ players

@Akumakaji said:
Hello everyone,
well, as the titel says it, I am talking about splitting up on gens, as that is the number one reason why I tunnel. On most of my killers I play more chase oriented and without the dreaded Eruption/CoB combo, and I like the more traditional way of playing DBD, ie chase, down hook, one gen gets done. Chase, down, hook, another gen pops.
But lately its more like the survivors have woken up to the fact, that splitting up is the most effective tactic available, and in itself there is nothing wrong with that, BUT (there is always a but) its putting a lot of pressure on the killer. No matter how well you play, these days multiple gens will just pop in union, in the worst case scenario the first chase will end with 3 gens popping one after the other.
Really, what do you expect the killer to do in such a scenario? Just business as usual? Thats the point were I most likely turn from a casual and fun killer into a tunnel machine and of course it sours the mood, but at this point my regualr options are gone: if I just chase the next survivor, then gen 4 and 5 will pop once the second chase is over. This really irks me, as I don't enjoy tunneling, but I also don't enjoy getting thoroughly stomped and laughed out of the door.
I talked a lot about catch up mechanics and the lack there off in this game. Many players defend this by stating "why should I be punished for playing well?" or even more prevalent "why should THEY be rewarded for playing bad?". And why I can somewhat understand this sentiment, the lack of catchup mechanics means that the losing side will be backed against the wall. And a killer backed against the wall will most likely tunnel and camp.
Players who enjoy camping and tunneling will always do so, no matter the circumstances, but there is a sizable population of killers who actually want to play the game how it was intended, and thats getting harder and harder the better and more coordinated the survivors get.
So, if we can't get a catch up mechanic, can we at least get The Entity to intervene with gens the more are worked on at the same time? I don't know, reduced efficiency when the survivors are working on three gens or maybe even randomly blocking them or more skill checks or random explosions.
And yeah, I know that there are situations like a three gen where you have to split up, where you can't work on one gen, but for the most part its really getting rediculous.
That and DH and Eruption sucking the fun out of the game for the respective other side, but thats its own thing.
"I like the more traditional way of playing DBD, ie chase, down hook, one gen gets done. Chase, down, hook, another gen pops"
And by the 5th gen you have done 5 hooks ? That's why you are struggling then. You don't apply pressure on gens, you get lost in way to long chases and you just provide time to suvivours
Tunneling is not a sin, is not against the rules, is not bad, is a valid and legit tactic, no matter how many suvivor cry over it and claim it is against the survivour rulebook so stop excuse yourself.
Then change your perks, if you have problem. Try to run Corrupt Intervention and Lethal Pursuer, you'll have a very strong early game, probably also one hook even before the first gen has been done. Then patrol the closest gens to you, avoid useless gen across the map or in weird location ( top of Saloon, top of Thompson House for example ), set up your defence area over 4 gens, 3 of them are your last line of defence and if you spot a lone survivor in your secure zone, scare him away, chase a little bit and then go on gens and apply pressure. Use deadlock as perk to prevent mutilple gens to pop at the same time.
Also, same as for tunneling, Eruption, COB and similar perks are not a sin, use them if you feel you need them, use them as much you want.

Really thanks for this insane nerf guys. You did a pretty good job. You nerfed the most broken killer that she can't use exposed perks anymore. Now she is reeeeeeaaaaallllyyyy balanced :) Let's just forget the part that she still ignores the game mechanics and that someone who plays her for longer then 30 minutes can still win most games undeserved and that she got New broken addons now :D
"win most games undeserved"
UNDERSERVED
who do you think you are to say if someone deserve or not to win ? Seriously, learn the game and stop crying
"she still ignores the game mechanics"
no she is not, she follow the same mechanics as everyone else, she have to hook you three times, she can be stunned/blinded, she can not insta mori ( that's Mayers ), she can't blow up the shack or swap hooks or anything else. She teleport like many others killers do ( Dregde, Sadako, Freddy ). She is a strong, if not the strongest killer, in the game ? Yes she is. Is the most played killer ? Not by a mile. There are counters to her ? Yes plenty. She win 100% of the game in each mmr level ? Not at all. Her power is strong ? Of course it and she has been hit with several revork and nerfs during the years and the last one was pretty big
Truth is, no matter what nerf she may receive, what killer you're going to face, no matter what perks, as long you will think that someone who outplay you ( luck, skill, strong killer, any reason ) don't deserve to win, you'll never be happy. If a trapper with no perks and no trap beat you, you will come here to cry that he don't deserve to win becase..he can run faster than you.

Boil over makes new great skill checks are way tooo strong. Survivors legit throws you around like a ragdoll.
Current level 3 Boil over give 80% strenght, keep it as the cap/maximum value.
This is not ok.
On PC this is not happening at all, w/o Boil Over i walk in a stright line, with Boil over sometimes i bounce once i a while
-
Ok i just tested live against boil over
Man, there's something VERY wrong with the new wiggle ! Right now, if a survivos has Boil Over is like playing against the old mechanich with someone without Boil Over
If, right now, a survivor has no Boil Over, i can walk in a stright line without even taking a little bump
-
Just had a match there and i really liked the changes ! Is a lot more easier than before for the killer

is it just me or does the "new" wiggle feels like nothing happens? most killers dont even sway to the sides.
anyone else thinks that?
To be honest it's easier than before, i was able to run around Midwich carring a survivor without any trouble or special perks

Are you ok, seems like you took some offense off a comment, didn't know that perks are being shown, since I've just got the update today, because I haven't played in awhile, but you have a nice day, quit letting what other people say, get you offended so easily and you're not suppose to throw pallets for trendy seconds now lol, killers just get all the perks, but I understand they need them, isn't like they have enough already
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3325644#Comment_3325644
But someone used it and it worked and I can clearly tell when I'm talking to a killer main lol
Let me understand, if a killer use a perk, a mediocre one like dissolution, you feel the right to ask for a nerf just because you have no idea how the perk work and how to play around it ? Ok seems legit

I agree BUT no IRI item can be forged like that or people with many hours of gameplay could forge IRI item way too easly

It's impossible to hook survivors who are using Boil Over if they purposely down themself here. I can get them to the hook inside if they go down near the chest but from here it can't be done. Is it possible to open the metal fencing so I can drop down and get to the hook from here? The soonest opening is at the stairs and it's not possible.

Unless I'm misjudging the timing and it is possible to get down there. Trying to fit through 2 doorways with Boil Over is a big ask.
Slug the survivor is the best counter to boil over/sabo
Then, if you have the chance hook him later. Some maps are terrible hooks placement sadly

You said the killer was Spirit, it could have been his hex : haunted ground
Then pallet save or flashlight save or else
I mean, this game is full of cheaters, maybe this one was a cheater as well but there are plenty of valid reasons how this could happen

So I just played against a ghost face, that had a perk too where, I vaulted a pallet and it instantly broke, no tokens needed, because let's be honest, these killers really need help in these solo lobbies, that definitely should be a swf perk, can that be a thing, I just can't understand with all the things working for the killer, they just need absolutely more, I mean let's keep it real, these games are so easy for survivors it's ridiculous, lol
Can't wait to hear someone ask to nerf Spies from the shadows too
I mean, you complain over on of the most useless perk ever

Never sleeping pills is an "ok" addon really, sometimes can be valid but most of the time, if you face good survivous ( and not those crappy morons you see on several cc videos ) even with Mural addon , you'll never get a real advantage
Legion is hit and run , if you play him differently that that, he is just an M1 killer without any power, his power is his speed, the "fear" to force survivors to scatter around, with pills you're just a m1 killer slightly faster than normal who's pointless run around the map trying to reach survivors with sprint burst, lithe, adrenaline and anything else
To be fair his addon are not that bad, some are ok, some are meh, some are good but overall are decent. If you want to talk about TERRIBLE addon let's talk about Pyramid Head or Nemesis or Deathslinger
-
If you hook 2 survivors close togheter and then you move away, you're just a fool !

Just found one able to use DH even if with a Deep Wound and twice in a row..so..

But those aren't asymmetric games they still have balance and for the most part, casual playlists, dbd does not have that. That "safe environment" doesn't exist. A new, inexperienced surv has the worst time of it rn. And I'd know, I started back in august.
My early surv games were extremely punishing. Surviving a match was extremely rare and usually a product of thebkiller deliberately letting me go. My second ever surv match was a farming wraith who got us all to 2 hooks in before we had 2 gens done. Then spent the rest of the game just keeping us injured and just let us do gens and chased us out of the exit gate. Remember sitting there afterwards thinking the learning curve was going to suck.
Maybe I'm a masochist for sticking with it idk. But not many players are willing to put up with that. I know so many people who quit after 100 hours or straight up won't try dbd because they know it'll be punishing.
You sure you're really happy with the game being that offputting to new players? Because I'm certainly not.
Same for a newbie killer, he Is going to lose many games at the beginning but,for me, here Is the beauty of this game, you Will learn from your own mistakes. I have 1000 hours as killer (i have almost never played as a Survivor) and my early games were pathetic.
Then i start to record my own game, analyze my mistakes, learning the basic tricks a survivor can use and i start to improve over and over. I still do lots of mistakes,i still see some brillant gameplay or trick i never seen. This game has a very difficult learning curve, It Is required on both side but if you dont give up, if you dont cry for Nerf over any perk or such well, you can do Better
After 100 hours you are Just terribile, you Will be terribile in a single player game too ! Try civilization 6 and tell me how bad you are after 100 hours on diety difficult level, thats the same
It you want to Learn the game, try to ask to someone in your lobby to have a custom game, maybe ask a couple of killers to have a custom match with you and your Friends, you Will have a much Better experience
Instead of vomit toxic message in the post game chat, try to say something nice like " you have outplayed me, well done. Care to run a private match again just for fun ?" i'm sure many players would love that
