No, people just don't want a 30 minute game of slug simulator.
then dont slug? I dont ever slug as twins and I do fine, again this comes back to "putting in the effort"
people dont want to put in the effort and just unintelligently tunnel-visioned on her being a slugging killer and thats it.
Compare it to Hag, every hag I find will place 3 traps around the person she hooks and return instandly....that does not make the hag a bad or one sided killer, its just the community not knowing and not caring to know what else she can do.
Otz considers hag one of the strongest killers and one that borderline needs no perks at all.

I was the survivor of the match and I was playing with my friends.
But it's not a question of get gud, It's to show how badly designed the game is.
I didn't even need TO MOVE to find and complete my objectives as a survivor.
The Nurse was impressively competent, didn't miss the blinks, I'm sure she expent hundreds of hours to masterize the character, although she didn't kill 1 survivor.
Moreover I just did the post because I got incredulous by that as I'm a main killer too and have faced similar situations.
well then she did something wrong, perhaps she should have started slugging? such a pretty generic suggestion

Freddy x 100 and preferably in a way where they go back to old freddy for a lot of it

He's got 7k hours in the game, and faces people with 2k hours (average top survivor hours).
And it's his lively hood.
And he's a top killer player.
And he doesn't 4k every game, in fact in his 50 wins in a row he loses to keys and hatch a lot.
He doesn't just get 4ks, but he classed wins as 3k and hatch, or a draw (happens a few times in his match's on stream) 2 k and 3 hatch.
Yeah, so not only is this lies, but it's also because he's got an extreme amount of hours in the game. If you had that much and faced average survivors I'd expect a lot of 4ks
"loses" he only lost his own goal, (winning and losing is not defined in this game)
the point is though, how could you possible get those 4ks even with tons of hours? as OP described its clearly impossible, 1 on hook, 3 working on gens? what on earth could you do?!?!!!
maybe watch otz and see what can be done about it, learn and git gud.
-
imo Beast of Prey is fine, now Territorial Imperative, that could do with some help
-
they are different, as they should be, both have pros both have cons
-
and yet Otz to name one 4k's just about all the time, riddle me that batman

A few days ago I got into a discussion about how the weaknesses and limitations of killers (not in gameplay but as a character) don't matter. This really stood out to me as the big issue with people who don't understand why killers like Pennywise or Nemesis can't be added to the game. Some people are so adamant to have Mr X added to the game that they forget to picture him being stunned by a 6 inch thick pallet of wood. Some people in the community don't understand the reason why killers like Freddy and Demogorgon work in the game and characters like Pinhead and Nemesis don't. I really would like to clear this up if anyone is confused about this.
ill clear something up for you, and this might be shocking but stay with me.
pennywise....is a character from a book, written by a human being, he is not real.
Mr-X ... is a character from a videogame, made by some people, he is not real either.
We dont know lorewise how the entity works, does she take an icon that makes people scared and makes it real? you know those vids of people running away because someone dressed like Michael Myers suddenly comes around the corner? yeah and he is not even real....yet people have seen the movies so they are scared.
So for all we know, the Entity lorewise grabs something that isnt even real to it and makes it real for the trials.
ORRR if we have to assume in some alternate universe they are real and the entity grabs them from there...
ULTIMATELY IT DOES NOT MATTER, the entity decides what level of power the participants have, does that mean the character is only a shadow of what it is in its own francise? maybe, does not matter one bit though.
now stop being stupid.

I mean the answer is right there in the title....the mobile version is newer
-
Ermm how exactly have you "lost" games?
-
that challenge is indeed completely bonkers without Sloppy Butcher.
Think about it, you have injure multiple survivors, then injure and down one, then hook that one before all the others healed up and then find one of those that did not heal or get healed in time and hit them....and then do that 6 times in a single match.
its rediculous.
but with sloppy....its a complete non challenge.

Many ways were tested to prevent the 99'ing of the gates, they all felt pretty horrible.
EGC was never intended to favour one side over the other, it's not there for the killer to be able to apply extra pressure - it's there to end the match, nothing more. That's why the killers can open the exit gate themselves as well.
I just dont buy this, sure who am I and what can I do, but I dont believe this for one second.
I maintain that a LOT more can be done to make the game more interactive, more tactical but the devs refuse to even try something like that.

I mean I get it, I do.
But basing his entire power's skill cap around ricochet is dumb and finnicky.
well as you seem to have read the buff ideas a lot you should have seen that very very very few only say "ricochet basekit" and thats it.
Its just a part of it

"You are one of those that rather stomp the poor further into the ground when they steal something to eat rather then adress their need to steal in the first place?"
I'm not sure what this has to do with ragequitting in a video game. Video game salt and poverty are two different things.
its about fixing the real problem and not brute forcing it into submission

time for the immortal McQuotes: "git gud"

those cabinets with clocks on them in some floating orb, because that means im playing against freddy and I ffing hate freddy.

because they like the idea of a character like that? The Trickster is basically that, very feminine in behavior, just happens to be a guy.

I mean, NoeD does do a lot of the work....that is kinda the point of NoeD, the punishment for survivors to not spend time finding and cleancing totems.

Salty people will always exist no matter how balanced/fair/etc. something may be. You will never stop ragequitting because it is tied to the person. The best you can do is punish people who do so to disincentivize it.
thats a really dark and depressing outlook on the world im sorry to admit.
You are one of those that rather stomp the poor further into the ground when they steal something to eat rather then adress their need to steal in the first place?
Take a killer that just slugs everyone and thats it, enjoy wasting 4 minutes of your life, good fun that is, there one could DC ORRRRR maybe the devs could implement something that would punish that behavior or give the survivors a legitimate way out but nope, lets just make it so you are not allowed to do it and punish if you dont want to just waste your time on the floor.

Why is everyone so hell-bent on basekit ricochet? Like it doesn't solve anything about why he's a bad killer. It's such an insignificant idea to buff his kit and yet every single post mentions it like it's the second coming of Jesus.

1000% disagree. If that were an actual valid thing, there'd be no need for a disconnect penalty.
there is a DC penalty because people DC too much, what they did not adress is why people DC, hence we are back in the loop

they could easily just tweak how much stalking is needed and remove or reduce the stalking limit on survivors if the wanted to give him a boost but I guess currently, aint needed

I'd say choosing to leave because you don't like playing against X type of player removes any right to complain about players bringing in particular builds and whatnot.
and I say players bringing particular builds and whatnot gives players the right to complain/choose to leave ;)

ok....I dont agree with your reasoning here but ermm how about you come up with a killer concept that follows a different method.

lol wait, people still respect Blizzard? really?

its most def your imagination, its confirmation bias and other factors.

Ah, he can't be that bad. Yes he is!

People work during the day. Thats why survivors compete with way less survivors during the day, but get long queues once people come home from work. Thats the only reason why survivors have shorter queues during the morning. Which means, that it isn´t a problem that can be solved by just not going to work and playing during the day.
But equaly people compete with way less killers during the day, yet killer queues are very long during the day and survivor queues are super fast.
Later, in the evening its also those killers who come home from work and yet killer queues are really fast .
On the one and you say more players play survivor, but on the other that is also needed because for every 1 killer player, you need 4 survivor players.
-
the speed boost is sadly extremely underwhelming, if you get it...it feels like it does absolutely nothing, just a WOOOSSHHH sound effect. And more often then not you jsut waste time even trying to get it, so yeah they should buff that.
The delay is there for a reason though, its so you can throw it at a survivor in a chase without buffing them and then when they are ahead you get the speed boost.
But whatever, just his normal bottles are great, not sure what your problem is but Clown I think is pretty fantastic, the gas obscures and makes people have a much harder time reading your movements, I do actually very well playing Clown.

"The nerf was needed, it would've been rather unfun to deal with, borderline his version of the iridescent head."
LOL
he has to hit someone 4 times and all 4 times have to be trick shots,
in no way would that be as broken as iri head
that's still 3 more hits than iri head and he can't down someone in 4 hits at long distance it would have to be up close within baseball bat range.
as otz showed, just aim right behind them on the ground, the ricochet makes the knive bounce up into them, aka ez 4 hits, and you basically would not be able to avoid it unlike slow huntress hatchets, aka no counter play, just take it and go down.

Yeah, I think that's one of the buffs suggested for Trickster. I kinda want a killer that forces survivors to heal. Makes anti-heal viable which is pretty rare
but how would that work, half a laceration meter means half healing time?

Same.
Still get the same FPS drops/freezes from various status effects (e.g exposed, bloodlust etc.).
I even have a new trigger for FPS drops/freezes.It's whenever a new icon from perks and addons appear on my screen (e.g Prove Thyself,Dying Light etc.)
I have exactly this issue on PC, it happens by far mostly when a survivor im chasing uses dead hard or when I go into bloodlust 1, this was a thing since I started playing and it still is today and its honestly the worst
-

If laceration meter could be reseted by normal healing, that wouldn't be a problem. But it goes down on it's own, during a chase.
ultimately, imo its what little counter play survivors have.
I mean dont get me wrong, hitting the knives takes practice (as all things should) but once you know what you are doing you can hit a lot of knives as is by design, the huntress is one shot for a health state but because of that the wind up time etc takes time giving survivors the oppertunity to act, aka counterplay.
The Trickster's blades are nowhere near that deadly, he has to build it up and so for balance they are technically a lot easier to hit.
That means there is relatively little counter play from survivors other then just running in a direction and around every object, its kinda boring but that is really all you have and the laceration meter doing down is the reward for that behavior and hte punishment for the killer who perhaps was trying to use his powers a bit too much.
When to use and when not to use your power is an important skill for killers.
I do agree he could use some work and made my own suggestions but I think the laceration meter going down is not inherently a bad thing or a way to buff the killer, but that is just me.
-
yes I did, hence my remark....come on man.

I personally dont mind Nurse but Freddy....yeah F freddy, every time I think: "ok ok, lets give him a go... oh look jump rope, tinkerer, pop, camping, yep.....yep yep yep....good fun"

be patient?
He was tested during PTB, his release was delayed
they had plenty of time to rework him before release
and if anything they NERFED him because in ptb trick knives dealt double damage
The PTB is not really for balance, its more about finding bugs and lets be honest, you dont want it to be balanced based on the kneejerk reaction of the vocal few of the already few who play the ptb.
The delay was entirely due to the console versions not being ready, if they would have also spend that time changing things the delay would have only been longer.
The nerf was needed, it would've been rather unfun to deal with, borderline his version of the iridescent head.
I mean sure he can do with some help and suggestions are being made but come on man.

Breakable walls were good idea but poorly implemented. They'd be more useful if they were on windows removing the vault option from survivors.
they were a great idea but in all honesty you really really REALLY have to understand the game to make that something what it could be.
It could be that breaking walls helps, it could be that it only helps one way/one direction, it could be that it only helps for certain killers but is bad for others, or it could help depending on your playstyle.
sadly right now they are nowhere near that complex, in the most cases by far they just work against the killer.
