Me dying usually means that the killer was a camping and tunneling slimebag. Probably used bamboozle, enduring and other cheats too. So no, I don't give "gg" to cheaters.

If you disagree with me, then comment WHY. Clicking a button does nothing to help the discussion. Otherwise I have no idea if you actually disagree or if you are just trolling me.
If you don't have time to write a reply that's why we have drafts. You could always come back later when you have the time to reply.
PS. And just to spite you I went ahead and down voted your last 20 or so posts. Didn't have time to read them I just clicked the button ;)
Downvoted.

Nice. But let's all be honest here, DBD is a competitive PVP game before it's anything else, so getting sweaty is ok.
Where is my LOL button...

So much this. People on this forum have no idea how to play properly. You can easily grab survivors during vaults and off lockers. Git gud, mates.

Oh the joys of context-sensitive inputs.

Half the forum would be banned overnight, so I doubt it's that.
Half the forum is already banned I bet. You are talking to the other half.

DCs just make games boring
It's the opposite. When the game gets boring, I dc.

Avengers die. Here, you are welcome.

Playing insidious Leatherface in the basement.
-
Blame the devs for not adding a vote to concede. I personally see no reason not to have it in a casual game.
-
I've found more and more often killers using their wide character size to completely block the stairwell to the basement forcing you to stay trapped in the basement and die on hook, or hold fully healed survivors hostage in the basement since they cannot pass by unless you let them or swing at one.
I've found more and more often survivors using their lean character size to significantly decrease the length of their path around objects forcing you to run extra loops, or hold the killer hostage at the pallet forcing them to break it. I would like to see something fixed with the character models so this isn't a "tactic". They could even just widen the hitbox at least so you can't just run in circles and afk, or wait for DCs. This especially needs to happen with End Game being implemented into the game. Killers shouldn't be handed out free kills and wins, but the way that is now is not fair or fun for anyone.

No to the tv knock off version.
I liked the show’s 2 seasons when it was on (and I wouldn’t mind the butch girl as a survivor tbh she was my fave) but come on
It’s like it would be getting the generic Oreos when we could get the REAL ones.

Oreos ARE the generic ones. The real ones are called Hydrox.

Everyone across the gaming world knows and the Devs should know that camping in any game is looked down upon. This is why DBD will never be as great as it could be. The survivor should at least have a better chance to get themselves of the hook when being camped or a slower entity progression as mentioned by someone else on this post. As for the face camping bit, "With new killers, there will always be camping, because they need to learn what does and does not pay off." Why should I die, lose items and have my experience ruined at the expense of a new player or someone that can't play the game well? A new player playing as a survivor might now come back to the game because of camping. Like I said before, everyone across the gaming world knows that camping in any game is looked down upon. Yes! The killer should have an advantage but not so much so that they can ruin the experience especially for new players. I've seen far too often people being toxic in DBD because someone got pi$$ed off because of camping. I've had it directed at me and I've seen it on Twitch. I'm not holding the Devs responsible for people's bad behaviour or the person doing the camping but I gotta say that the environment doesn't help curve the toxicity. If the Devs want people to camp then what are we going to do about it?
> Everyone across the gaming world knows and the Devs should know that camping in any game is looked down upon.
Are you one of those people that call defending the objective camping?

Found a butthurt killer main.
[Edit: Having to put the FIRST hint that this is a damn joke :P ]

Monstrous Shrine. It's OP if you can play around it. Most people just suck at this game.

Looks like broken with extra steps tbh.

Bumpity bumpy bump bump. I heard ReShade looks good this time of year. Won't fix the colorblind problem, but should increase the general visibility.

What do you mean by the "endgame spoilers"? Isn't ECG the current big thing?

ITT networking myths galore.
THIS. GAME. IS. NOT. P2P. It uses a listen server. Which is almost the same as a dedicated server. For an example of a p2p game, go play Awesomenauts.

At least she can hit a survivor right away. Freddy still has to wait for seven seconds.
-
You guys just hate balance.
-
I think you are overreacting. They balanced a killer to be more in line with others, and you guys are acting like it's a reason to nerf everyone else?
-
Mostly good changes, but I think the Clown one is too harsh.

115% is 4.6. Wiki is your friend.

Judging by the way they handled Pig and Legion, we should get ready for a 110% Freddy. But they will decrease transition to 5 seconds. Not modifiable by addons. And EGC will wake everybody up.

This is part of the End Game changes. With the Survivors on a short timer, they can't afford to go around taking a trap off before leaving. Putting a trap on a Survivor after the End Game has already started would be a death sentence particularly when paired with Blood Warden. Traps applied before the last generator was powered will still be active, so you'll still be able to
These changes are just on the PTB for now, though. We'll keep an eye out for feedback and make changes if needed.
What short timer? Last time I checked it was three minutes at the very least, with gates taking 15 seconds.

From a simple Google search I found this; In video gaming, camping is a controversial and much-hated tactic where a player obtains a static strategic position of advantage. ... Among many players, camping is considered very similar to cheating, especially in deathmatch-type first-person shooter games.
What part of "can be mathematically proven" did you not understand? They asked for a formal definition of camping that could be used to create a detection algorithm. Your definition is just words.

@redsopine01 If you're having trouble finding survivors, there are many perks that aid you in that aspect. Stridor, BBQ, Whispers, Bitter Murmur to name a few. All I can say is this:
Git gud
> Yeah, sorry. It doesn't work both ways.
It does lol. As long as I get rewarded with free 4ks for standing at the hook, I will keep doing it.

Yes, but only for diconnecters.
The reverse, actually. A tiny tiny pool of masochists, and a healthy population in the mines.

That experiment is still relevant btw. Gen times and chase mechanics didn't change. Also, they went against multiple Nurses, which is as good as it gets in terms of chases.

I always DC against Nurses. So like 50% of the games? Have never been banned.

Ohhhhh. Can you give me the math for how long it takes a killer to reach you after a pallet break?
From the 2017 thread.
Well, without BS each pallet gives the survivors the following benefits:
1. 4 seconds to break the pallet
2. An initial 4 seconds worth of distance from running during the pallet breaking animation
3. All distance covered by the survivor during the time it takes the killer to catch up
Which appropriately equates to:
1. 4 seconds from the animation
2. Initial 16 meter distance (4 seconds * 4.0m/s)
3. 26.7 seconds from catching up (16 meters / 0.6 m/s)^
^ where 0.6m/s is the difference between the killer's and survivor's movement speed (4.6 - 4.0)
For a total of:
30.7 seconds worth of potential additional chase time per pallet broken.
-
Killers should get skillchecks on hooking and breaking tbh.
