@Crazewtboy Nothing related to rank or devotion is happening until Mid Chapter 14 according to the roadmap.
We get a Chapter every 3 months.
Ghost Face was 12 we are about to get Mid Chapter 12 with Freddy/Badham.
6 -8 weeks after that a new chapter(13) and so on.
So January/February at best.
Thats the roadmap Ranking stuff spans from late January/Early February to June.

Idk how they would balance him.
If he has a power resembling the show he'd be a blood/sound tracking killer.
I don't think they'd use the upside down at all.

@LordGlint If the boss is buffed to compensate for 2 players.
That would be a scenario like i mentioned at the end.
"You don't make the monster weak as if one of the 4 were in single player but keep 4 anyway."
So the 2 would be the power role

@LordGlint In a single player game i'd say its always the player as well.
In PvE co op its always the boss.
Its the side thats supposed to be stronger/the obstacle to be overcome.
Like in L4D the zombies/monsters are stronger than the players the work together because the odds are stacked against them.
In single player though the monsters are fewer and weaker the 1 player is now in charge. They become the power role.
So in a 4v1 PvP game the 1 needs to be the power role stronger than the 4.
You don't make the monster weak as if one of the 4 were in single player but keep 4 anyway.

I wonder if we will get a PS5/Xbox Scarlett announcement next year.
If DbD is going to last years like they say it should be enhanced for next gen at least imo.

I like his idea of 100 second gens with longer hook states a lot.
I already prefer to leave hooks 100% alone and just go for 3 separate hooks per person.

@Gcarrara Ah i'm glad they don't tip toe around the release dates anymore.
Everyone knew for the longest that PTB+ 2 weeks= Release date. Devs never acknowledged this though.
Now they just tell us! I hope they continue to do this in the future even if it becomes 3 instead of 2.

It would be cool to have something that says you P3'd Freddy before he was reworked.
Idk if it could/needs to be Legacy Freddy.
A P3 but with even more blood would be cool if they won't do legacy.

It does alert him.
If he's running paint thinner instead of the common add-on he'll even get an aura on you for 6 seconds per pallet you drop.

@Devil_hit11 He'll be a stronger clown since he isn't slowed placing the traps. Pre setting will be a bad idea for reasons you mentioned.
Unless its a long loop then things will be in Freddys favor.
For example iron works window his traps don't go away like clowns gas so place 2 mid chase on the side with the pallet and they won't make it around.
Couldn't you mind game the teleport? Charge it to 99 then cancel?
Running at a hook with no fear is fine. You want them off the hook asap since hooking them again is faster than waiting out the stages.

Great way to get a bug like Legion Blades back again is not allowing other killers to be tested.

I ignore them until a new killer is about to release. I try to have a few good ones saved around then.

PS4 killer queues may be able to fight the Freddy rework thanks to that + bill.
If the changes do what they're meant to of course.

Legacy means nothing on consoles. It invalidates nothing because PC users will never be a part of the console community.
If we had cross play sure but we don't so its pointless to lock away.

@katoptris Which shouldn't matter for consoles because we came later.
The prestige of it doesn't go away because we don't have cross play. PC players will never see a console player with "fake legacy".
Console players could have their own way to earn it we are separate and shouldn't be gate locked out of skins we never had opportunity to get.

Devs didn't just make it up they either watched the movie and wanted to make it a mechanic or were told/asked to.

It'll be add-on dependent i bet.
They said action speed debuff is an add-on but not 50%
If its say 25% that's a must run that will encourage waking up.

I know Ghost Faces other 2 perks were changed/fixed.
I'm all ears is a CRAZY good perk on Nurse since vaulting and breaking sight then being unpredictable is her main counterplay.
Furtive Chase needs a buff still imo.

@Andreyu44 80 seconds is tier 1 of the perk. Its 60 at 3.

@Andreyu44 It's 40. Just a bit longer than legion/ghost for comparison. Once you teleport and finish a chase it'll be back.

Pick up, hook, teleport to a gen that is being worked on.

@Andreyu44 The wake up actions increase every time you wake up and caps at 16 seconds. Thats huge time waste.

An add-on that reduces that second teleport to 1 or would be instantly meta on him.

@nancyt1428 It appears every time you fall asleep seemingly. Its also always the one furthest from you when you fall asleep.

Snares seem really good since they can be placed instantly at loops.
Only the teleport is on a cooldown and it seems fast.

Never enough killers imo. 20-25 would be a nice line up imo. Like a fighting game roster
