Well, Spirit and Keys.
Spirit was not nerfed, only one of her Perks was nerfed. You would still need to run Iron Will to have a chance against her and she still gets way more information while phasing than the Survivors gets. None of her problems was addressed, even if we consider that Stridor was nerfed because of Spirit.
And Keys still do the same, the only thing which got changed was that Franklins works against Keys like before (if not even better). But the Keys itself do the same thing.

Here we go:
-
The problem is, they would need to add a Cap to slow down the Selling of unwanted Add-Ons, Offerings and Items. Because otherwise, players end up with Millions (if not Billions) of BPs at once.
So there would need to be a hard cap of X Things/week to sell or something like that.

how about when a survivor dead hards, they can't interact with a window or pallet for a few seconds.
Or, you can just remove the Perk if you put this as a restriction. Because even when you are able to use it, you will go down shortly afterwards.
@Topic:
A Perk being used often is not the sole requirement for a Nerf. Otherwise, we would have to nerf basically every Killer Slowdown-Perk and BBQ.

Nurse, but that is just wishful thinking.
Legion, because with their current Power, they cannot really be buffed.
Other Killers just need Tweaks or Buffs/Nerfs, but no Reworks.

Graphical updates aren't the problem though (maybe Disturbed Ward and Father Campells Chapel with those smoke effects).
The real problem are all kind of status effect, icons popping up on your screen (e.g Prove Thyself,Leader,Dying Light etc.) and Hooking/Unhooking.
Those things that i mentioned are the reason why FPS drops keep happening to us.
^ and this was already a problem on Console before they started with "The Realm Beyond". Since I started playing I know that people complained in the Forums about Status Effects popping up giving them Stutters and Freezes.

And that's all well and good except when games are still being released on and supported on old-gen consoles, next-gen consoles are extremely rare in supply and scalpers make the issues even worse, and DBD does not have the complexity nor graphics to move to exclusively next-gen. I know I keep using this comparison but seriously:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/DPDCBTDJM6SA/image.png
RE Village, PS4, 30fps
(Full video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51VpVPimH2g)
DBD, PS4, whatever framerate you'd even call this.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/CX9DHSK2E55C/image.png
(Full video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXCXGfzKNFQ&t=1s; Credit to @OniWantsYourMacaroni for this)
This is a very good example that it is not the Consoles fault. In general, I would not expect Publishers to abandon PS4/XBox One for a few years, because they would kill their own sales if they focus on next Gen only currently.
As a PC-player, the optimization is also visible, even tho less extreme.
E.g. currently I have a 1050 TI, downgraded because my GPU died on me. This is not the greatest GPU and it was way too expensive (thank you Pandemic/Scalpers/Miners/whatever). Since then, I can run DBD on Medium with occasional FPS-Drops, e.g. when a Gen is finished, when I am near a completed Gen (sometimes, which is baffling, sometimes it is fine, sometimes my FPS drop..) or on some Maps (Badham as Killer, as Survivor it is fine).
So it works on Medium with almost always constant 60 FPS.
Now, I also play World of Tanks - game which is actually optimized. I can still use the HD-Client (they have a SD- and a HD-Client) on Ultra-Settings (highest settings possible) with constantly at least 60 FPS. Granted, with my old GPU, I had way more, but I never drop under 60 with the highest graphical Settings possible.
Regardless of what happens in the game, like, there can be the most action, explosions, anything, I never drop under 60 FPS. And since they have a huge playerbase, their game is optimized so that literal potato PCs can play on the lower graphics on decent FPS. Like, talking about years old Hardware here, there are players who play with 10 year old gaming Laptops.
It is really not the Hardware, it is Optimization. And I am very sure that at some point in the future, PC-players will also have problems with DBD, even if they have somewhat decent Hardware.

Everything about that first sentence was wrong in nearly every way.
Firstly, using perks to fix playstyles is stupid because it's a very situational, and therefore retroactive, solution. Secondly, only a full team running every anti-slugging perk would really be able to do anything, since Unbreakable is a one-use perk, Soul Guard is Soul Guard and No Mither screams "don't slug me". In fact, that's kind of a big reason that UB is such a poorly designed perk, because it only really works against snowballing, not mass slugging.
And this is an event, it is extremely likely that people are going to do this. Same as me having about 10 killers in 2 days running Franklin's Demise and nearly as many Insidious bubba's.
"And this is an event, it is extremely likely that people are going to do this. Same as me having about 10 killers in 2 days running Franklin's Demise and nearly as many Insidious bubba's."
The problem is, with the amount of Cakes and the nature of Killer-BPs, a Killer who slugs and onehooks can still get a decent amount of BPs, despite not doing that much during the game.
So it works out for them.

There are several perks that remedy this.
Also I see this in like, what one in every few hundred games if that. X to doubt.
Several Perks?
There are exactly 3:
- Unbreakable, the obvious one.
- Soul Guard, if the Killer does not have a Hex, this Perk does not do anything. And a Killer who wants to slug from the start and one-hook everyone will not run Hexes.
- No Mither, come on... This has the big "Pick me up"-sign.

they are working to fix it, they stated it so far so that in 3 months they would change the hit to server registration, will see.
If it is like Hit Validation, I dont have high hopes. Like, currently you can be on the other side of the Pallet and already walking and you might get hit/grabbed.
And since they have to keep in mind that there are areas where not Dedicated Server is nearby (which means that the Killer will have high Ping, completely out of their Control), they will probably make the Pallet-thing as generous as the Hit Validation, so only the really huge Latency-issues will be filtered out.
They really need to show the Killers Ping in the Lobby, completely out of my mind why they are not doing that, given that this is the important information.
-
You cannot just stop supporting the game on some Platforms. Especially not if that would affect such a huge part of the playerbase, let alone that you cannot do that with immediate effect. You would have to warn the players long in advance and until then, they cannot even play the game, because it is a unoptimized mess.
The only thing were I would say that the Devs did something seriously wrong was to release the game on Switch. Console Optimization was already bad back then, releasing the game on another platform where it barely runs is just arrogance and a cash-grab.
But yeah, only supporting new Gen Consoles while they are very hard to get would be wrong. Líke, I am on PC, but I would also not be happy if the game would be made graphically demanding that you need a high end GPU to run it. This would be the equivalent.

When I started, this perk was almost mandatory, it was top-tier of the meta and pretty much every every survivor used it. It is weird to think that nowadays everyone hates it.
It still is a good perk, but it must be used properly, in my opinion.
People should not hate Self Care, they should hate Self Care-Users. Healing in some situations can be really smart, like I am not running it, but sometimes I wish I would be able to heal myself to go for a save or to tank a Hit.
However, as long as people waste 40 seconds on the other side of the Map to heal through Sloppy Butcher, Self Care will always get Hate.
@Topic:
Self Care as well. Like, back in the day, I hated it when a Character I was about to prestige did not have it. Now, it is whatever, I never played with Self Care (unless for a Challenge) since the release of Plague, where I dropped the Perk.
-
At max I use it when doing Challenges. But it is a solid Perk, however, I prefer Bond.
The Range is smaller and not map-wide like with Empathy, but it is enough to know what happens 36m around you AND it gives information regardless the Healthstate.

God, don't be offended, but it looks like I'm arguing with a kid. Are you telling me that survivors with 4k hours will take the same time to find the totems as survivors with 100 hours? High-level games are going to completely destroy the use of Hex perks, whether you want to or not.
Prove Thyself makes survivors repair generators faster. Whether you are in chase with a survivor or not has nothing to do with it, so that perk is constantly in use and is annoying the killer, because the generators are repairing faster. Even if you are chasing the survivor with that perk, someone else may have that perk as well. I don't understand how you can't understand something so simple. The healing perks you will ALWAYS be able to use, there is or will always be a wounded survivor, especially if he is a killer like the Legion. Totem perks are ALWAYS good as well, because there may not be a Hex active at the moment, but the killer may have NOED and prevent it from activating by destroying all the totems.
Kindred, OoO, Alert, etc., perks that aren't always active but that are activated many times and provide a lot of information to the survivor (or to all survivors if they are on Discord). It may be that in one game you will literally face 16 perks AT A TIME, it may not be at the same time in another, but you will face at one point or another at 16 perks, be it at the same time or not.
I have the DbD Wiki open, can I name you some more perks? Or is it enough?
"Prove Thyself makes survivors repair generators faster. Whether you are in chase with a survivor or not has nothing to do with it, so that perk is constantly in use and is annoying the killer, because the generators are repairing faster."
How is that Perk in use when you are chasing that Survivor? If you are in chase with that Survivor, only their Second Chance-Perks or other Perks which are useful in Chases matter, not anything else. And if they are on a Gen, their PT matters, but not DH, Iron Will or any other Perks which are not active at this point.
"Even if you are chasing the survivor with that perk, someone else may have that perk as well."
Yeah, but at this point, the 16 Perks vs 4 Perks is already done, because the Survivor is running a Perk which does not affect you at this point.
Like, my Build is Iron Will, DH, BT, DS. If I am just sitting on a Gen, neither of those Perks matters at all to the Killer. If they are chasing me, DH and Iron Will matter for them, but only when I am injured. And if they want to tunnel me off the Hook, DH, Iron Will and DS matter to them. (And if the Killer never tunnels or camps, they "remove" half of my Perks already. If they are a Spirit with Stridor who never camps or tunnels, they "remove" every Perk except for DH...)
You never play against 16 Perks at once, because no Survivor runs Perks which are active and useful all the time.
"Totem perks are ALWAYS good as well, because there may not be a Hex active at the moment, but the killer may have NOED and prevent it from activating by destroying all the totems."
No, they will not be useful. If you are not running any Hex-Perks, you cannot count Totem Detection Perks to your 16vs4-Argument, because those Perks dont matter against you. In fact, they help you, because the Survivor is more likely to waste time cleansing Totems.
But in the end, something like discussing about Hex-Perks being Basekit/in a fifth Perk Slot is pointless anyway, at least the Devs know that those are powerful Perks which should not be taken for granted. Bad ideas like Ruin-Basekit are as old as the Perk itself, so it will never happen.

In high-level games you will never see a Hex perk last the whole game, and considering that (I think) they will soon put the MMR system, I will constantly have high-level games, and Hex perks will become completely useless. Even on a map like Midwich, if you have enough hours in the DbD, you end up learning all the totem spawns (not my case, but I know people who do).
"you never face those 16 Perk"
Prove Thiself? Leader? Botany/Empathy/Autodidact/Bond/Desperate Measures/etc, perks to heal faster and find injured survivors? Detective's Hunch/Small Game/Counterforce, perks to find and destroy totems? All those perks are used off the chase and screw the killer. And I could go on naming more perks, but I think I've had enough.
It seems ironic that you have almost 9000 posts, I thought that number indicated that you were quite a veteran in the DbD, but it seems that you don't even know its perks.
"Perks are equivalent to the ability to press M1 to remove a Health State from Survivors"
I don't understand this phrase. Do you want the killer to not be able to remove a health state from the survivors with the M1? What?
Sure you will only get high-level games... "high level" is just something people mention to justify strong stuff (or broken stuff even) in the game.
"Prove Thiself? Leader? Botany/Empathy/Autodidact/Bond/Desperate Measures/etc, perks to heal faster and find injured survivors? Detective's Hunch/Small Game/Counterforce, perks to find and destroy totems? All those perks are used off the chase and screw the killer. And I could go on naming more perks, but I think I've had enough."
And? This just proves my point, you never go against 16 Perks at once.
What does Prove Thyself do when you chase this Survivor? What does leader to? What does Botany do if the person is not healing? What do Totem Detection Perks do when you dont run any Hex-Perks?

At what point did I say that I don't want them to break my totems? I understand that you want to make things up to make it sound like you're right, but it's kind of sad.
The problem with totems is that in the first 20 seconds of the game they can destroy them, and that is something that doesn't make sense. Even new players who are unfamiliar with totem spawns can find them easily, because most are near gens and / or outdoors with nothing covering them.
The killer must face 16 perks and him having 4 perks seems like something nonsensical, but on top of that, the Hex perks are most of the time completely useless. Saying "bro, don't use them if you don't like them" is to have a very sad mentality, if something in the game (like the totem mechanics) is bad, instead of changing it, do we just stop using it? Wow, I hope you never belong on the balancing team.
Yeah, but Totems can also stay up the whole game. Granted, this is not as common, but it can happen. Especially on the reworked Maps there are some pretty good Totem Spots (and some terrible as well, e.g. Autohaven). But I have played multiple games already were Ruin was not found, even on Maps like Coldwind Farm.
The "logic" of "16 Perks vs 4 Perks" is pretty flawed since you never face those 16 Perks. E.g. if you are chasing one Survivor, their Perks (Second Chance or stuff like Iron Will), matter, but at this point, not any of the other Perks of the other Survivors. Let alone that some Perks might not even go into effect, e.g. I run BT and DS, but if the Killer does not camp/tunnel, I will not have to use any of my two Perks.
Also, if we start with this "16 Perks vs 4 Perks", I wonder how many Perks are equivalent to the ability to press M1 to remove a Health State from Survivors...
-
Zombies are fine, they just need some Tweaks to their AI to not get stuck on basically everything.
Also, they are just there to be a minor help, the main task should still be done by the Killer. Having 4 Zombies to help with zoning is too much IMO.
And well, I guess the REAL reason why the Zombies exist is because it is a Resident Evil-Chapter. If Nemesis would be an original Killer with that power, they would not have brought Zombies, I am very sure of that. They are basically an excuse to make it a real RE-Chapter, because Zombies belong to RE.

"If the risk is too high for you, dont use Hex-Perks."
Your mindset is absurdly survivor sided. Totems are found incredibly easy without perks, and there are more and more perks to destroy totems. Saying "If the risk is too high for you, dont use Hex-Perks" is like saying several versions ago "if you don't like infinite loops, don't chase", infinite loops was an absurd part of the game and they changed it. The part of finding totems so easily is something that should be completely changed or, as I said, at least add a new slot for Hex perks, because it is completely absurd that they find totems so easily.
And regarding the other topics asking for base kit perks, one thing is to say that they give me "X perk" of base kit without providing arguments, but if they provide you with valid arguments, I don't know why to complain.
The difference is, you think your arguments are valid, I dont think that they are.
And sorry, but if you dont want a Perk to be removed from your Kit by breaking a Totem, then dont use this Perk. This is why I dont use Hex-Perks, but you dont see me complaining about those the whole time, because I use other Perks instead.
You just want very powerful Perks without dedicating Perk Slots to it.

I have already explained it. You can't read?
Oh, I can read. But saying that it is high risk to bring a Hex-Perk is not really a reason.
If the risk is too high for you, dont use Hex-Perks.
If you think they are worth the risk, bring Hex-Perks, but dont complain if they get found easy, they are not meant to last the whole game anyway.
And I am not talking about your thread only, just yesterday someone wanted Corrupt Intervention Basekit and another thread a few days ago asked for NOED (or CI) Basekit...
-
Whats the reason that Killers want their most powerful Perks (which are Hex-Perks, at least those which are used frequently, e.g. Ruin is the best Slowdown-Perk) without using a Perk Slot for them?
Like, this comes up frequently that Killers want something for free...

So comms being basekit despite being worth 20+ info perks is fine? Killers are not balanced around it and have no compensation for it.
I don't understand
You are boring.
Stop asking for really strong Killer Perks to be Basekit without any explanation. If you want to run Corrupt Intervention, give up a Perk Slot for it. If you dont think it is worth it, dont run CI.
-
"Bug"-->This is not a Bug, it is intentional. Each Trap gets assigned one Box with the Key. This can mean that either each Headtrap has the Key in another Box or that all Keys are in the same Box. It is simply random.
Your Buffs:
- The Timer should not be seen as a way to get Kills. They are RNG-Kills anyway, so quite cheap. It should work as a Slowdown, and putting down the timer to 1 1/2 minutes or 1 minute is way too short. On bigger Maps you will probably not even be able to check two Boxes with that.
- Traps should also not be active when placing them. They should also not be active in Endgame, Headtraps are not supposed to be saved until the Endgame, the Devs said it during one of their Livestreams - you should use the Traps during the game to provide Slowdown.
- However, I am all for Buffs to her Dash.
-
They are annoying and I guess, the longer Nemesis is in the game, the more people will share this opinion. Most of the time they are not meaningful, but it is not cool to go down just because of RNG.
And it also does not feel rewarding as Nemesis if the Survivor just goes down, because you were lucky and a Zombie just appeared around the Corner.
However, their AI should be improved a bit, at least to the point that they cannot get stuck on basically everything. Also, they should not be too near to a Hook, a facecamping Zombie should not exist.
-
A Perk that strong is worth a Perk Slot. And should not be Basekit.
-
Probably because they are already in a Chase with the Survivor and managed to hit them once, just for the Survivor to prolonging the Chase.
I dont agree with Lithe or Smash Hit, but IMO Sprint Burst is the stronger and more annoying Perk to go against. And I am pretty sure, when Dead Hard gets nerfed at some point (Killers know they just need to complain enough, at least they are trying to do that) and everyone runs Sprint Burst, that it will be the next Perk to complain about.
IMO it is just annoying to see a Survivor sitting on a Gen as long as possible while you are approaching as a Killer, just to see them running away into safety. Let alone that Sprint Burst is a guaranteed getaway because you actually gain distance (unlike Dead Hard). You can be in a complete Deadzone and still be safe, just beacuse of Sprint Burst.
This is not a proposal or anything, but if they would make Sprint Burst useable via clicking a Button (like pressing E, similar to Dead Hard), you would see so many people dropping Dead Hard for Sprint Burst. Being forced to walk in some situations instead of running is the only thing that holds Sprint Burst back to be the single most used Perk in the game.
-
Original Charakters always. I am also not really into any franchise which makes me excited for Licensed Content, like, most of the licenses we have are mildly interesting for me, or I simply dont care about them.
Obviously, if someone is a huge RE-Fan or Silent Hill Fan or Halloween-Fan, they totally love the respective licensed Characters. However, I am more for the gameplay-side and BHVR has more creativity when it comes to original Characters.
Like, I would have never thought that we will have a Killer with a Gun at some point, and yet, Deathslinger exists. Sure, his excecution is not the best, but he is creative. Same goes for Twins, awesome concept, bad really bad excecution.

Nah, Killer should not have it harder. Survivors should have it easier to obtain crowns, not the other way.
-
Currently I play Killer more because I need to level some Killers. But if I would not need to do that, I would play Killer as well, because their Bloodpoints are way higher.
Killers get like 30-50% more BPs on average every game. With Cakes this makes a big difference.
20k BPs as Survivor, with 5 Cakes and 4 WGLF-Stacks (which means you went out of your way to get those): 145k BPs
30k BPs as Killer, with 5 Cakes and 4 BBQ-Stacks (which you get for just playing the game): around 217k BPs
HUGE difference. Basically, playing with friends is the only real reason to play Survivor during those events (except if you really dont like playing Killer), because Killers get BPs easier, they get more BPs, they get more Cakes...

Yes, Ebony Moris are the most common version of Moris. Their rarity could also be brown, to reflect how many of them you are able to get.

Survivors should just receive the same treatment as killer. Collect the crown and be done; no escape catch.
I agree. And I highly doubt that the majority of players will suicide once they have the Crown. Yes, some matches will be affected by it, probably at the beginning of the event and near the end, but it will not be massive.
At the very least, there should be another requirement, like, repair a full Gen (so 80 Charges), this means, someone who suicides with a Crown was at least somewhat helpful before.
But escaping just makes it annoying and prolongs it - and can be equally frustrating, if Survivors dont even make efforts to save people in the Endgame because they want their Crown.

I dont care about a free win, I want to play the game. And if the Killer is an AFK Wraith, I will report them. Especially when Survivor Queues were longer, a free win is not really that cool if you are in queue for 3-5 minutes before the game, have a 5 minute game with minimal points, probably depip and are back in the queue again.

Actually, there's quite a few anti-tunnel perks, but none are as reliable as DS.
- Second Wind
- Borrowed Time
- Off The Record
Second Wind requires a full heal, all 16 charges to activate, meaning any less and it won't activate. Upon the prerequisite, it has a 20 second timer, which is plenty of time for the killer to down you. Granted, Second Wind isn't meant to counter tunneling very well, its main purpose is efficiency.
Borrowed Time is strong, but you can't trust teammates to use it when they unhook you. Meaning if they don't have it, you're getting thrown back on the hook. Otherwise, it's pretty solid when your team has it equipped.
Off The Record doesn't counter tunneling in the slightest despite trying to hide your presence. It only works if the killer is soft tunneling you, which means they won't throw the game to tunnel you, but if they have the opportunity to tunnel you — they will do so.
Decisive Strike is reliable because it takes effect immediately after being unhooked. No prerequisites and you don't have to rely on your teammates. As a bonus, it wastes more time in general regardless if they slug you or eat the DS — BT doesn't waste as much time as DS. Moreover, the fact that DS exists in the perk pool makes the killer have to gamble on weather or not you are running it. Leading to some situations where killers avoid picking you up, meaning you can benefit from DS even when you're not running it.
This is why DS is so powerful, no wonder every survivor uses it. It does what it's supposed to do unlike other perks.
So you confirm my point?
You list two Perks which you declare as "not meant to counter tunneling very well" and "does not counter tunneling in the slightest" and another Perk which is out of the control of the respective Survivor, because a Teammate has to have it.
Let alone that conditions make Anti-Tunnel Perks pretty unattractive, it does not really help if I have to heal another Survivor for a full Healthstate if I get found first...

It's a huge problem, actually. It completely destroys The Twins. It's not that big of an issue now that Behavior added a way for Charlotte to recall Victor, but on release when that wasn't a thing The Twins sucked.
Even on Release it was a dumb decision to kidnap Victor. Without Victor, Charlotte is still a 4,6m/s Killer which can M1 - so you can still chase people and in fact, you are chasing two Survivors at once. The game is slowed down a lot if someone decides to kidnap Victor, because this person cannot do anything.
-
Silent Bell-->I am not sure on that one, but I think it is fine. It is an Iridescent Add On, after all, and his other Iridescent Add On is not that good.
All-Seeing-->Should be nerfed. Before the Buff, you basically only had one Add On-Slot, because you needed Windstorm. Now with Windstorm basically Basekit, it is like having 3 Add On-Slots. All-Seeing is too much with Wraiths current Kit.

Apparently it's still strong enough to be in every ######### survivor build in Solo Queue. That's like saying BBQ needs to be buffed because the aura reading isn't strong enough.
DS really doesn't need to be stronger. It's fine where it is right now.
Because it is basically the only Anti-Tunnel Perk which exists. Especially in Solo Queue I cannot really guarantee if that guy who unhooks me does it safely or if they even have BT.
It is not a good Anti-Tunnel Perk, but basically the only one. That is why it is taken.

I agree, but don't expect many others too. DS, getting a buff? Heresy!
I was always of the opinion that when DS got nerfed, (which it should have) that it should get buffed in it's anti-tunnel capabilities. I always preferred the "Timer stops while slugged or in chase" buff.
There are multiple things you can do:
- Timer stops while being chased or slugged (which would be a true Anti-Tunnel Perk since you still get tunneled when you are chased off the Hook or slugged immediatly)
- Make it activate twice
- Increase the timer
- Remove Scratchmarks, Grunts of Pain and Blood for a few seconds after the stun to allow the Survivor to gain distance
I also hope that they buff DS at some point to make the Anti-Tunnel stronger, since Killers dont really give a ######### if they get hit by DS or not, if they eat it early, they can tunnel the Survivor out of the game after their second Hook.

I don't think this is a good idea. I feel like many survivors would try to find ways to abuse this.
Is this a generic answer to be against things or care to explain how you want to abuse something which takes you out of the game for 60 seconds if you want to keep it?

Why not both?

Her grunts of pain are...interesting. But I wear headphones, so it should be fine.
Her Hook-Scream is pretty ear-piercing, not sure what I think about it. It is good, but also hurts.

I am playing Nemesis a lot currently to get all Perks on him and I take the extra Speed Boost for the Survivor to get to Tier 3 as fast as possible. It is worth it IMO.
I would love some changes to his Mutation Rate, it should be faster and the respective Add Ons should be nerfed to compensate.

Cosmetics. Got the Trickster-Cosmetic when it was released. And currently, I have enough Shards for another Cosmetic, I hope that the Nea-Cosmetic is available for Shards as well.

The funny thing is survivor is still crazy strong with so little effort. Honestly what was the last survivor nerf exept the DS nerf
I am joking, because whenever Survivor Queues are long, the standard answer is that Killers get SOOO oppressed by the Devs. But when Killer Queues are long and Survivor Queues are instant, this does not really seem to be an answer...
And nah, Survivors got nerfed for 5 years.
