When you know how to. Freddy just stay awake, or watch for the snares/pallets. Spirit watch for the grass, keep quiet, be mindful of your scratch marks (Iron Will is a good perk against all Killers). Nurse know how long she charges her teleport - open spaces is actually easier to loop her than around pallets.
There you go the basics for all 3. Honestly I would prefer any of these three over facing a Huntress personally. Huntress requires a lot less skill, and delivers a lot more punishment when you lose the mind game, since she gives a lot less oppurtunity for survivors to abuse second chance perks.
It was proven long ago that Spirit DOES NOT move grass in phase. Staying awake against Freddy via walking to clocks is a severe waste of time likely to get your team killed, and guess what Freddy likes to do most? Run an addon that makes it so that that's the only way to wake up. Those aren't counters. You won't see any good survivor run to the other side of the map to use a clock. The only time it's useful to do so is if you're already at it, which you won't be when you fall asleep. I don't understand why people say "Well just stay awake" like that's a legitimate option. Doing that will get you killed, and it's much better to just treat him like Clown if he's puddle Freddy. The only time you should be waking up is if you almost have a gen done and he is in a chase, blow the gen up when it's close to 99% and you can wake up others, but don't go running to clocks every single time you doze off. t's really annoying when people say things like they 100% know what they're talking about when they've proven that they don't by saying things are counterplay that were proven NOT to be counterplay and talking down to people. If you're going to tell someone they don't know how to play, at least know what you're talking about.

It was in a custom match but I'd say it was a pretty epic game. Two had breakdown, both managed to get hooked in the same area. I was running No Mither, Tenacity, DS, Unbreakable. I unhooked one, and they unhooked the other, and I was in the corner of the map. Got left on the ground because of there being no hooks, picked myself up, other guy got hooked again. Picked him up, killer came back for me, I ran back into that corner, but wasn't quite close enough to the corner to where I couldn't be hooked. He hooked me, one teammate got me off, I got downed, but he chased the other guy because he was dead on hook. I crawled while I was recovering, both of the last two teammates killed on hook, but I picked myself up as the last one died, and he was cursing my luck as No Mither actually working for me. Hilariously enough I also managed to walk by the hatch as he got killed, and escaped. We had 2 gens left and I was the only survivor, surviving with No Mither, Unbreakable, Tenacity, and DS(didn't get to use DS). Killer was rank 1, I was rank 11(used to be around rank 3 but I stopped playing for a few months), had one rank 1 survivor, and the other was rank 8. The rank 1 died early on.
No Mither saved me 3 times that game(Well, sort of, first time is a sort of save but I would have been fine if I didn't have it too. I just didn't have to get a heal or worry about my health state). The first being at the very beginning(it was Legion). He came up on me and I was the first one he found, and he was already in frenzy. He had to decide between hooking me and using his power to find the others, he chose the second option. The other two were mentioned in the first paragraph, but it was a funny incident with me being the first he ran into with Frenzy.

I’ve been playing survivor a lot more recently after being a killer main for years and notice a hell of a lot of killers that tunnel...
I’m not talking unhooked in front of your face, toxicity etc. I’m talking purposely returning to the unhooked survivor just to hook them again.
So why do you do it? The excuse won’t work of “because it’s easier to 3 v 1” because we both know that’s BS it’s the easy way out instead of learning how to get better at the game.
We all play this game to have fun right? Killers wanna have fun and so do survivors right?
Tunneling somebody off hook isn’t fun for the survivor, it’s equally as frustrating for something that irritates you as killer whether it be body blocking or what not.
A simple solution would be for the devs to implement a ‘No blood point emblem score’ In short if you hook a survivor again within a certain grace period the killer is penalised for it, that being you gain no blood points or emblem for that hook. If they choose to camp that downed body then it gives the other solo and SWF survivors adequate time to do gens It’d derank killers into appropriate brackets until they learn how to play the game properly.
I’m well aware tunneling isn’t considers a “Bad word” by BHVR but I seriously think something should be done on this particular issue
If you think most people on these forums are going to agree with you, I'm sorry but you're falling on deaf ears. Most people on these forums only accept a belief if it is shared by them. Anything else is ridiculed.

Currently a rank 2 survivor and as of recently I'm getting teammates/killers (usually multiple in one game) between rank 16-20 in about 50% of my matches, has anyone else been experiencing this lately?
This has been going on from months. I stopped playing about 3-4 months ago because of it, and it is still happening.

I'm having the same issue as a solo survivor... Also was told I was manipulating the matchmaking by swfing. 🙄 however it's a real issue.
According to my ticket they are well aware and are "working on it"
"Working on it" as in working on hiding ranks from other people so they don't realize how bad the matchmaking is. Thankfully people aren't dumb enough to fall for this as you can tell when you see a bunch of Claudettes self caring in a corner, or eating bark, or going down immediately every time they're found.

Around an hour. I was playing Hag in the huge corn fields. I killed 2 people before 3 gens were left, and the other two were hiding in the corn. They got one more generator but I could never find them and my generators were a decent distance apart. Eventually got the 4k but I was searching through corn forever as a Hag with severe corn blindness. One of them was also a Claudette. I kept hearing her when she was injured but could never see her. Eventually I found one of them, killed them, and finally found the last one at one of the gates. This was about a year ago. I wanted to give up so bad but at the same time I didn't want to give up just as much.

So basically, what you're saying is.
Screw anyone who wants to have any sense of accomplishment in this game? Because that is basically what you are saying with that last sentence.
You can go ahead and act like that if you want, I'll gladly give myself up to Myers if it's obvious they are going for Evil Incarnate, because it is one of the more frustrating achievements to actively grind for (it's literally the luck of the draw with getting 4 potatoes, as you said).
Why? Because I'd rather them having fun and getting the achievement that they have probably grinded for hours for, and seeing a Survivor who would willingly help them out with this achievement. And getting it over with. Finally having it in their collection, and finally putting that whole fiasco to rest.
Because as an achievement hunter myself, I understand the pains and frustrations, as well as the mental gymnastics you have to jump through to get achievements as BS as Evil Incarnate. I wouldn't want anyone to have something like this constantly locked and bugging them because they always feel like they're just so close, if not for that one survivor, if not for that one #########.
I will always remember the moment I got Evil Incarnate myself. It was in Haddonfield, it was a SWF and they were obviously not going to make it easy for me. But they were also being fair about it. They didn't go into lockers, they didn't actively sabotage my attempts at the achievement. Hell they were playing how you would expect a SWF team to play, but they understood that I was going for the achievement first and foremost and wanted me to work for it. But not frustrate me with it.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/277/SPJZC2PJI7E3.png
And it felt satisfying, it felt great. (This was way WAY before hatch closing was even a thing).
It feels great when you got an achievement, an acknowledgement from the devs that you beat their own challenge that they designed and you got it against opponents who fairly played with you.
Of course, that's just my take as someone who actively hunts achievements. Hell, achievement hunting is how I realized that Clown and Plague are not as bad as people make them to be. They can help me actively get 4ks even in Rank 1.
So while you don't hunt for achievements, I really would love for you to not downplay those who take upon the challenges the devs made for the game and attempt to finish them.
They're achievements for a reason, let people celebrate them when they do get it, and if they are attempting it, don't actively sabotage them knowing they are going for it. That's just again, a dick move. It's not countering anything, you're just doing it because you know they are going for it and the only way out is with a frustrated player and no one winning in the end. Just a bad ending for everyone all around.
How did he earn the achievement if he didn't do what the achievement asked of him? Getting a 4k isn't the achievement. You only earn an achievement if you do exactly what the achievement asks of you. Anyone HANDING you the achievement is not earned. The addon is bullshit to begin with, and some people run it just to be dicks. There's a lot of random accusations against people without any solid proof. Literally only assumptions. A lot of it is going around by a certain group of people it seems, and perhaps maybe that survivor does not give up until the game is over with them dead if they intend on playing out the match. Isn't that the "goal of the entity"? For survivors to always have hope? This nonsense just sounds like entitlement.
Honestly people are only defending this because they have some kind of grudge and/or just want people to not be able to use lockers for any kind of defense. Achievements should have no effect on balance of the game, and as other people said, blame the company for the achievement in the first place. It's no one's obligation to give you your achievement, and with how bad the matchmaking is now, it should be easy. Just had 2 games in a row as Legion where my enemies were complete potatoes. One I finished the game with 5 gens left, the other with 3. Both were terrible at chases and you could tell they knew absolutely nothing about the game.

BBQ only does it for 4 seconds. And survivors can figure out if he has it and use the 1 of 7 counters against it. Its really not the strongest of perks... yet people still complains.
Someone is always shown by BBQ. Not everyone is immune as there is ALWAYS some person who isn't near a locker or behind a generator in the specific direction across from the killer, etc. I'm just saying if you don't know how to loop you'll die. You will almost always find at least one person by BBQ.

But the gens can still get done even with stealth. I am not the best survivor, but have been able to do just that. Killers mains like myself do not like being stunned every few minutes just because the map allows the survivors to. Its boring and tedious. And survivor mains (the ones that only play survivor) use them to be toxic more than they would if survivor was less powerful.
If all survivors were being stealthy then no, they couldn't. Once you hook someone, you have BBQ. It's game over for "stealth survivors" who can't loop.

The reason that we ask for an ingame report is to actually prove that the match took place first of all, the support ticket is required for actual proof that something occurred which is why we ask for video evidence as much as possible. And this goes for all platforms, reports from all platforms are considered but without proof of something happening - we cannot take action.
Isn't there a way they could just have flagged reports save a recording of the game and have a human review it?
-
@Fibijean said:
In answer to your first question, yes things do happen from reports if they are reported using the proper procedures (a report in-game, and then a Support ticket with any additional evidence - unless the report is for chat abuse, in which case the Support ticket isn't needed).
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1254119#Comment_1254119
People get banned at the speed that the team are able to sort through the reports, regardless of how much additional evidence is available. Additional evidence will help with getting a player banned, but not with the speed of the ban, and only if it is submitted through the appropriate channel (i.e. a Support ticket).
What's the sense of in game reporting if you also require a support ticket? Why isn't only the support ticket required? Makes no sense to me how the in game function means so little if you ALSO require a support ticket for it to even be looked into.

True but that is no different than now. Killers will always have the advantage of free movement. That can not be helped. But this seems more fair to the guy who managed to stay alive till the end. Especially so now that EGC is a thing, so most single survivors at the end get screwed anyway.
Yeah, maybe. End game against Wraith as the only survivor that survived is always gonna be ######### I guess.

Personally I enjoy being looped. The raw potential of 2 people attempting to mind game one another is honestly an amazing feeling to me.
I really don't understand how most killers argue so hard against a CORE thing to the game. Like if you don't like being looped, why even play killer? If you wanna play hide and seek, be a blendette. Then again, those same people likely complain about blendettes too. "I can't find those stupid blendettes, make the maps brighter!" and then proceed to "You should be hiding from the killer, not looping!". I enjoy chases. They're much more fun than trying to find someone and then not being able to. Kind of why I like Legion. If you find one person you generally know where most people are so you can get right into the chases. It's a very satisfying moment once you finally grab them if they're good.

It goes both ways. Anyway noed imo is not op its just unfun, still ignore crybabies wether surv or killer
People who use NOED in my experience never get to do anything with it anyways because they generally miss every hit that's all but guaranteed so much in game that you know when someone is using it. When it actually does come into play it's generally somewhat exciting for me. That said not when the totem is hidden super well or the killer hooks the person right at his totem. Either way it's generally used by someone who doesn't have faith in their abilities, and rightly so.

I dont think its balance that people are arguing against, just that some people honestly feel survivors are too oppressively powerful now. That even by giving killers a buff any buff to survivors just negates it.
I personally dont slug often, and try not to tunnel purposely. I have no real complaints against perks from either side. My biggest complaint is from outside comms. The game wasn't built for them. Wasn't balanced for them. Still isn't. They hurt solo survivors as many changes can't be made because of potential abuse by comms. And killers cant get buffed properly because it kills solo.
Oh trust me, a lot of killers just don't want any sort of buff survivors could possibly get despite it being more balanced. But it's everyone, survivors included. No one seems to like balance. Any suggestion that IS balanced generally either gets the silent treatment or backlash because because both sides get something. By the way it's only a minor subset of people who actually believe that survivors are oppressively OP. There have been many nerfs over time that have all added up, and this most recent one is one of the more significant buffs to killers. I was on Autohaven and only saw like 4-5 pallets one game, with big groups of empty space. Bet a lot of people(on this forum specifically, not everywhere) would think that's balanced.
I once said that killers should get full blood points for every survivor that DCs while survivors should get full blood points if the killer DCs(before the DC penalties). Got backlash, because killers would only get 8000 for one survivor DCing and survivors would all get 32000 total. This was still balanced though, as killers generally DC less, and the survivors are no longer allowed to get any more points if a killer DCs. If a survivor DCs the game is still ongoing and the killer has just as much potential to get those 32000 points. Only one argument was somewhat sound, being that it could be used to farm bloodpoints, but that would require a LOT of setup from people who don't know each other, and likely wouldn't happen because one or four people wouldn't get any bloodpoints. Strangers don't usually agree to that kind of situation considering they're not put into the same game multiple times.
Once suggested moris be replaced by a different offering that was more fun for both sides, generally removing the generator aspect of the game even. Giving the killer a customized trial, like for example if it's a Pig, everyone started with active RBTs on their heads, there were more jigsaw boxes around, giving more time for survivors to get the trap off, to extend the game and make it more about the Pig finding survivors without having to patrol gens. It got more accepted by some, but it didn't gain much traction and there was still some backlash. Understandable as it's a huge game changer.
One suggestion was to make the rank system grade what was brought in the trial and base requirements to pip/depip on everything combined. didn't gain much traction
And one of my biggest suggestions was to make survivors have only one chance to live, rather than 3, but give them more ways to lose killers in chase, perhaps some minor survivability buffs. Obviously some perks would have to be changed around, but it got pretty silent on that one too. People don't want balance, they want domination.
There's nothing about any of those suggestions that tip the scales to one side's favor, and many other suggestions that didn't favor any side generally are left behind as well. I can't think of any suggestions that didn't favor one side slightly or more than slightly that has gotten a lot of traction. Even just minor QOL changes get left behind.
@SquirrelKnight said:
A couple things from this thread. With the "counters" do ds and borrowed time. Anything that involves the killer not having a way around something other than to ignore his objective is a problem. Itd be like saying the Real counter to NOED is to simply not do generators then it wont activate. Plus i think the complaints about DS and stuff are more once the gens are done, because if a gate is being opened and you get DSed then you have no options but to slug and watch him crawl out.
More to the point of the thread though, survivors like to play "efficient." What this means is that "doing bones" isnt a fair answer to countering NOED because they arent on generators. Remember this, the faster the game the easier for the survivors (generally). So any ability the killer has to draw out the game is a problem for them (hense the ruin nerf) because it made people get off the generator or at least spend 16ish seconds doing a totem and not a generator.
So why NOED is flamed so hard is because it makes survivors have to make a CHOICE. Extend the game for the killer, giving more time to set up, find people etc... Or they can rush the generators and the killer gets a surge of power in the shorter game. Survivors dont really have to WORK for a win, their role is a fairly passive one where they have large amounts of control on the progress of the game. Topped with the ability to flat out counteract or nullify killer powers with items or perks. All of this being said, the reason that NOED is hated so much is not because of poor design, it is designed to counter the quick speed of generators and groups that dont want interraction with the killer. The way to fix this is yes, "do the bones" because it creates a more interesting game for killer and survivor when both have the time to interact with eachother. If you want to tunnel someone early, get hit with decisive strike. If you want to rush the gens and 4man-escape NOED is there to help.
TL;DR NOED is supposed to stop the gen rush but entitled survivors want a 4 escape with no challenge.
Except you DON'T have to ignore your objective. If someone used BT, there's another survivor right there in your face. That's your objective. Do it. If someone got unhooked and has DS, same thing, there's another survivor right there in your face. Do your objective. Patrol gens if you're not at the hook like I imagine you are. You'll find an objective. If you REALLY want to continue being a dick to people, sure, follow that person for 15 measly seconds and down them then. BT ran out so there's your opportunity to tunnel the poor player who gets you as a killer. I'm sorry but saying you have to ignore your objective is just ridiculous. Being a jerk is not your objective. If you surprisingly AREN'T being a jerk and a survivor did it in front of their face, it's not the person's fault who was just unhooked. Go after the jerk who did it and make them pay. You don't get some award for "best killer" if you manage to get a 4k, so I don't see the reason people play like this.

Even before DC penalties were active, DCing was in no way an effective way of punishing ######### killers. As a killer, you just think "cool, one less person to worry about..." and brush it off. Hardly missing out.
That's not what the forums say. A lot of killers hate DCs because it ruins their games. That said, a lot of idiots tended to DC when they were first caught, or whatever, which is stupid, but a lot of killers complained about people DCing in all manners of situations, including being camped/tunneled. Tunneling imo doesn't happen as often as camping. Usually it's because someone saves DIRECTLY after the killer leaves and then calls it tunneling, but in that situation the survivor should have been smarter and waited. Any time I see another survivor planning to unhook me right in the killer's face, I DC because they don't deserve that altruism or me in their game, and I'm going to get killed pretty early anyways. I'd rather do something else while I wait for the DC penalty than play in a game that I know people are gonna be jerks like that. This game isn't important enough to me to stick through situations like that. Killers also complain about people one hooking themselves, so obviously they do care about it, generally if they want to pip.

Because this is what many survivors do,that's how no one takes them seriously anymore, they only see it from their side, they dont care about both sides.Too many scummy survivors in this game.If you're complaining about noed when you use perks like ds,adrenaline,bt you just look like a clown.
I'm sorry but as I've explained in a post above, there are counters to all of them. I have no issue with NOED, and there are MANY ways to play around all of those perks you mentioned except for Adrenaline(Aside from don't let gens get done), which isn't even a perk until the END of a game, and is technically the same as an OLD syringe, without being able to control when it goes off. Doesn't seem unhealthy to me.
That said as for NOED, I've found that searching chests and doing totems is more of a luxury at this point. A luxury I've rarely had time to do without dying unless the killer was a potato. I think the only time I actually got out with an item trying to bring some out due to terrible survivor bloodwebs(they don't get good add ons every blood web ya know) making me take Plunderer's is when I brought a white ward to take the item out with me whether I died or not. I had another CHANCE to bring an item out but the killer had Franklin's, and I got put on the hook for trying to get it back, then someone got me off and I ran out without getting it because if I didn't I would have died.
By the way I've put a lot of good ideas out in the game that usually will benefit both survivors and killers. Generally the killers don't like it because the survivors are getting a buff alongside it. Anything that buffs survivors, despite being better for the balance of the game, many killers disagree with, regardless of whether they'd get something they desperately want. This is from personal experience. I originally played both sides but to get out of camping killer scenarios I played survivor more to get into red ranks. Either way, for any game I think balance over tipping the scales is more important. Most people don't agree with that sentiment on these forums though.

I actually was not the one to accuse them of lying about how many times they've DCed. I'm not going to accuse them of lying directly when I have no proof. I'm simply saying that if tunneling is happening to him, say, 9 games out of 10, which is how frequent his post makes it sound, then it sure seems like he's playing a completely different game than me. I just don't see tunneling happen that often.
When I play as killer, I explicitly do my best to avoid downing/hooking the same survivor twice in short succession unless they do something foolish such as self-heal at the hook. These same survivors tend to be the most vocal ones post-game, whining in chat that I am a "tunneling camping #########" and the like. It's a player stereotype that seems to show up fairly frequently, and if this person honestly never does toxic things like t-bagging after a pallet, then the only reason I could see killers 'tunneling' them is if they were simply not playing very well in the first place.
It happens far more than you must think. A lot of killers are very ego centric. I believe it's WHY they play killer(or to stir up salt in the first place). If they find someone giving them too much trouble, they will camp them at their first hook. If they have a flashlight, they an bring ebony. If they have a toolbox, they bring an ebony(even though toolboxes are pretty worthless). IF they bring an ebony, they always stay right by the first hook they make ready to tunnel them out of the game at a moment's notice. I once had a Bubba who literally was walking from one side of the map to another SIDEWAYS(I call it crab walking) while his face was on me at the hook. Basically, anything that threatens their ability to win will cause most players that I've played against to be cause for them to play in an unsportsmanlike manner.
I also was just saying that you judged them based on a guess. You didn't verify anything before making a judgement on who they were or how they played. Why should they play nice to you if you already play not so nice to them? You literally started the argument between you two.

I don't think criticizing someone's language is really too far out of hand when they're going to immediately and condescendingly disregard any dissenting opinions as simply uninformed and calling them "adorable/funny". OP obviously didn't come here for an honest conversation, they just came here to write a barely-punctuated paragraph rant and expected everyone to cheer and applaud them for it. If they were genuinely listening and responding to the comments being posted, I would not have a problem overlooking the grammar being used. Since they clearly believe that they are right and everyone else is just silly, some harsher words need to be spoken to bring OP back to ground level. If you think that's "not cool" then that's your personal opinion, but to me there's nothing cool about acting high-and-mighty on a forum that you can barely communicate on.
I mean, you immediately and condescendingly judged who they were based on....guesses? Sure, maybe they do d/c more often than they're letting on, but you have no proof of that. They claim this is their first DC and they got 24 hours though. I DC when I have no other way to screw a jerky killer out of their jerk behavior unapologetically and the most I've got is 15 minutes, and believe me, it happens quite often, and I don't instigate the situation. It didn't start off that way for me, but after so long of being tired of ebonies and people camping their first hook(mostly others, sometimes me), I gave up caring. If they don't want to play in a sportsmanlike way, I don't have to either, and I can still get plenty of play time.
That said if this guy is telling the truth, then they got done wrongly. If they aren't, then they DC literally every single game.

you need to learn how to use it, its not for baiting hits. it is for greeding pallets and going to places to make looping longer. THATS why it is the best exhaustion perk. GOOD players use it to make it OP and bad players think its bad. ( you just might be using it wrong, not calling you bad)
Dead Hard is not the best exhaustion perk. Sprint Burst is. People just don't like it being possible to activate without them intending for it to, and having to walk. Dead Hard is good for greeding pallets, but it won't ALWAYS be usable, and there are situations where you would have been able to use it, but it bugged out. People just prefer Dead Hard because it has an on command use. Even Lithe is better realistically since both make MORE distance than Dead Hard in a chase.

Judging by the way you have typed out this post, you definitely sound like the kind of player who harrasses the killer for "tunneling" because you sat at the hook self-healing and he just came back and downed you. There are perks for avoiding tunneling, namely Decisive Strike. Also, tunneling killers are not common enough to show up multiple times in a row every day, unless you somehow manage to play a version of the game with completely different players. You make it out to be that ALL killers you play against are tunneling you. At some point, it's worth evaluating whether there's something with your playstyle that might predispose them to dislike you, or cause you to end up being found frequently.
Honestly that's silly. You can run a killer for too long and they will not only camp you, but sit at the hook hitting you over and over. It happens quite often whether you do anything to them that people consider "toxic" or not. I've had it happen game after game after game of me doing nothing to irritate them other than running them for too long as well. People who play this way are ego-centric and if they find they're not the hot ######### they thought they were, they immediately resort to underhanded tactics.

Alright, well, when you're ready to join the rest of us in the real world, where we have sane and intelligent thoughts, let me know. It's a shame to see there are still some people stuck in the early internet era and think condescendingly calling people "adorable" automatically makes you right.
I've put hundreds of hours into the game, just like almost everyone else on this forum, I'm sure. I know that tunneling and camping is not genuinely as frequent of a problem as you're making it out to be. The only reason killers tend to tunnel every game is when there's a survivor t-bagging them, or doing some really dumb plays that get them in repeated chases. I'm not saying you're harassing killers, I'm just saying... you're either pissing them off, or you're doing something wrong gameplay-wise and getting caught by them frequently.
Now, if you want to talk about "stuff you obviously know nothing about", then you can consult the dictionary. Your original post looks like the ramblings of a drunken man who learned English as a third language. You want to be condescending towards everyone on this post, telling them you're right and they all just "don't know what they're talking about"? I suggest taking the time to write out a well-structured, properly punctuated, and coherent post first. If you're incapable of that, then you're probably incapable of playing DBD at a higher level.
I think it's pretty obvious English isn't their first language and you're bashing them for it. Not cool.

Its different if they dont evem try to finish gens
If they try to finish gens the killer will eventually find them if they recommend this type of playstyle. They did do a totem. I'm just saying most killers generally are asking for the game to be made in the way that if a killer finds survivors, they should die. This is how the game would end up being. Doing gens reveals your location, not only through the big noise notification, but also through things like bitter murmur, discordance, surveillance, etc.

This is holding the game hostage, report them.
To be fair a lot of killers will say "You're supposed to hide from the killer, not run around pallets in circles!". Technically this is what those same killers are asking for.

David and Jake. They have a lot of similarities but also some differences that just feel like it'd work. I started to think about it more when they put out that Jake and David outfit set with them as mechanics.

Honestly the core issue is the level of information or lack of. A lot of Solo players use meta perks, but don't take the fact that they are playing solo and its advisable to take a different build that also presents more information. Aftercare, Empathy, and Kindred for a Solo surv can really carry.
Kindred honestly should be base kit. It's not really OP, and it's something a SWF group would know already. There should also be a base kit totem counter. This kind of information isn't something that's game breaking. Solo survivors need to know if a killer is camping, and how many totems have been done, to at least know what they need to do in those specific situations. BHVR needs to stop using perks as band aid fixes for the game and implement them in the base. They did it with bloodlust, so why did they stop after that? There are so many situations that a solo survivor pretty much needs in the game in order to prevent unsportsmanlike behavior from dumpstering them. If SWF has it already, and solos are missing out on that information, they shouldn't have to bring a perk to replace that information. It's lazy. You pretty much need Kindred, Decisive Strike, Unbreakable, and Borrowed Time JUST to deal with killer behavior as a solo survivor and it's ridiculous. I regret every time I take DS off for a non meta build. I actually PAUSE myself when I do thinking "Can I really afford to do this?".

No. It proves that dedicated servers are awful and always will be. This conversation is over. We're getting nowhere.
To be fair on my end I think Dedicated Servers are at least far better than p2p. There's less possibility of a killer cheating to gain an advantage, you don't have to rely on killer's internet, and I usually always seem to have a good connection. Sure there's the odd problem here and there, but it's much better than being teleported from here to there to here every few games. At least killers and survivors are equal in the lag department now as well.

I don't think many people think he's "fun to play against". Every time I see him I'm like "Ew, another Ghost Face". He's also the reason why I have permanent spine chill in my build. He makes Wraith kind of pointless, outside of being Sonic the Hedgehog while in stealth, and it's usually buggy trying to break him out, but if it was consistent he'd likely be more on the balanced side but the baddies who use him wouldn't do as well and then we'd hear people whining about how weak he is. Not to mention since the matchmaking problems most of the time you get low rank killers who camp hooks with him, and you know that's always fun. He's one of the best campers due to his ability to not be heard and being able to still attack normally while in stealth state. If you hear his boots(something I generally use to track if he's nearby if I don't have spine chill), it's usually too late. I find him one of the most annoying killers to face honestly.

Funny, I am a survivor main and would support this totally. Hatch spawn before it can be used gives the killers a huge advantage. They can walk freely all over the map and usually see it before end game. The majority of the games I am in that go to hatch time, the killer walks right to it and slams it because they already saw it while wandering around. If it did not show up until go time it would give both sides the chance to find it more fairly.
This would also make keys much less useful because you could really only use them to open a closed hatch during EGC, instead of several folks heading out together.
While true and a semi nice idea, this would also favor faster killers over other killers. Survivor also still has to sneak around rather than run if they're not found yet.

I like yamoka's visual aesthetic, really I do, but good lord the map is either a black screen on ultra or a nearly black screen on low, make it brighter, remove the bushes and bamboo, you shouldn't be rewarded for simply pressing LCTRL or LSHIFT or whatever crouch is bound to into a bush and becoming basically invisible, it's dumb, people shouldn't be rewarded for playing dumb
More pallets would need to be added, as other than finding people this map is killer sided to hell and back in my experiences.
When I play killer on these maps btw I don't have much trouble finding people. I generally get a 3-4k.

Ok the TL;DR Is a survivor tells me he would've used his powerful perks to win the game but insists I'm trash for using mine.
I still don't understand how survivors can argue about noed when they run adrenaline, bt, unbreakable, and ds while they are on comms. There's too many threads about that already but this is just an experience I had recently. It's about a match I played personally. I'll make it short as I can. Trapper on pale rose vs swf with flashlights. These guys were your standard toxic swf but I'd had a decent game hooks wise. I don't camp or tunnel unless it's situational so I'd been fair as I could be. They get down to 2 gens with all 4 of them still alive. I had this Yui on her 2nd hook beside the pier and I'm chasing a David on the pier. I down him and infectious let's me know theres a Steve running for the save so I see an opportunity to slow the game down . I go for Steve and down him at the shack while slugging David. A dwight pops the boat gen instead of saving Yui and she dies. I put Steve in the basement and dwight gets David up and they are trying to pound the last gen. Its about to pop as I get to it. I smack Dwight but he commits and gets his adrenaline and charges the basement. I follow and smack with noed before he saves Steve. David bolts and I get a 3k. Next thing I know a message pops up from dwight saying well played. I think ok this is a nice breath of fresh air. NOPE! Next message says JK sweet noed. Then he says its disappointing thinking someone is decent then see noed. So all of a sudden I'm trash because I used noed lmao All 4 of them had the meta setup with their adrenaline, ds, bt... He then goes into how I'm running infectious on a killer I shouldn't be. So I explain how it helped me during and to end the game. He doesn't buy it and insists noed is why I got the 3 of them because he was full health because of adrenaline. He says without Noed I don't get the 3k because he would've saved his friend who also had adrenaline and guaranteed I would chase his friend while he used unbreakable to get up. So this is what I don't understand. How can he say he'll use these 2 perks to win the game while complaining about me using a perk that helped me? The rest of the story doesnt matter but I tell him I wouldn't have gone for his friend but instead hook him before leaving the basement because the threat of borrowed. He tells me his buddies would then just heal and save him before I run them out the gate. That's all hypothetical since that's not what happened but again he's saying they will use their powerful perks and escape but I'm just absolute scum for using noed. Now if I hadn't had noed and that happened and i messaged him saying you only won because of adrenaline or ubreakable or borrowed or whatever I would've just gotten the ggez salty baby killer bs. The point is, they are perks in the game. I'm not gonna be shamed for using what's available to me and I don't care what they run. I'm not saying they shouldn't run adrenaline or anything. Just that they shouldn't harass me over what I ran while the 4 of them can run perks just as good and communicate the whole game. So I guess the point of this post is to ask why a killer is trash for noed but a survivor using adrenaline or something as good see themselves as skilled?
I've never really complained about NOED. That said, Adrenaline is literally just an insta heal on the condition that you complete all the gens. It's not even a perk until then, so I never understood the complaint about that perk. Unbreakable also has a counter, by picking them up. DS, also has a counter, don't stay near the hook and go right back after them. Spread the pressure. That injured person is gonna go get healed anyways, and might have BT on him. Chase the other guy instead. Borrowed time, ALSO has a counter. Don't be near the hook. If you DECIDE to be near the hook, count to 15 and then hit them. Like...what makes these perks so powerful? DS is the only one that I could see as strong, but it's needed to be strong due to how a lot, not just a little, killers behave. If killers didn't behave in that manner, it'd be useless.
You have the power to counter ALL of these perks, so I don't understand the complaints against them. I'd say if there's any perk that is REALLY strong it's definitely not those perks, but another 2 perks which I won't mention because I love them to death and I don't want them to be nerfed. If I so much as mention anything strong that survivors have I'll see 20 posts complaining about it until It gets nerfed into the ground, because that's just all I see on these forums.

The survivor already had plenty of chances of escaping. And it’s not a 1v1 game. If your team was bad and didn’t finish the gens and the killer knows where the hatch is than too bad. Oh never mind there is still an extra chance to go out through the non powered exit gates after the killer kick the hatch so what’s the problem?
Not to mention escaping is a team effort rather than an objective. As survivor you pip for just littearly booting the game so why is it so important to you? You probably piped for that match also. While the killer NEEDS to get his 4k so that the game accepts it as a victory rather than a draw (black).
Honestly, the hatch not just shouldn’t open faster but shouldn’t be in the game in the first place. Stupid sensless mechanic for both sides.
Try escaping a Wraith EVEN with doors super far apart once he closes hatch through the doors. There's literally not even a chance, trust me. The "extra chance" of the doors isn't even close to a guarantee it is even a chance, and since the killer does more walking, and is naturally faster, they generally always see the hatch once it becomes available. I should know, I generally purposefully put the next to last survivor on the hook by the hatch once I find it because I don't like being a dick(slugging for the 4k). The killer can walk from one side of the map to another in 10 seconds, honestly, so it's quite unfair that the hatch takes so long. Once the survivor's body goes limp, it should open. If a survivor was good enough to do several gens, not get hooked, is fully healthy, AND finds the hatch before the killer even hooks his last victim for the third time, the survivor should get it. The killer will generally find the hatch before the survivor if neither of them know where it is so everything else would be good enough.
Also, it's a complete lie that you have to kill all survivors in order to get a pip. All you need is one iridescent, one gold, and 2 silver emblems, if I remember correctly. I wish people would do their research. You can even watch videos of good killers pipping despite not having 4 kills. It's entirely possible. 4 kills is just a killer's goal every game and anything less most killers get hurt by their ego when they don't get it. I'm happy if I get 2k as long as the game was fun. 3 kills is generally my goal, while still giving the 4th a chance. As a survivor, my only real complaint is when the killer is playing like a dick. Sadly most people on this forum have much worse goals in their games than having fun.
-
I think most people would just add another tracking perk since BBQ isn't perfect and is mostly for extra BP, and another chase perk. Perhaps everyone would bring Spirit Fury and Enduring, or Bamboozle.
-
This is why there should always be an obsession every game regardless if there's an obsession perk or not.

Could be true... well hopefully they take a look at whats going on with Sony's stocks and think twice about pushing it any further.
After reading Trapper's story I already knew it was coming. Then came Yui, now Deathslinger, who is a bit more mild I guess, but it's still going. I haven't done any other challenges since, honestly. I was way too scared about David's story being injected with this crap, as well as others, so I'm not sure about theirs. Not to mention the rifts haven't been as good to me since the first either. The first rift had a lot of nice stuff. The last two were pretty bland for me. There's also a lot of side shaved heads and ridiculous hair colors being added(the first rift had this stuff too).

As for killer, Remember me nerf, Legion getting a nerf, Pig RBT nerf, Nurse rework that really damaged her, Spirit Nerf (This was needed Imo), Hex: Ruin nerf, and to me a saboteur buff.
Yeah I'm going to be honest I over react, glad I read through all the patches though.
I only mentioned the buffs to killers because you mentioned that killers ONLY GOT nerfs. You said that all the patches were survivor sided up to that point. I was just disproving that lie. As for the changes to Legion. Legion is still fine. Legion was my favorite killer. Also that change to Deep Wounds where people have to be continually moving actually buffed ALL killers, especially Doctor. It's much more possible even if trying to avoid it that you can go into the downed state from Deep Wounds.
As for Pig's RBT "nerf", this was more of a clarity change. Pig was intended to be a killer who stalled the game out, not one who threw traps on you at the end of the game and chased you around until you died. Her change was as a result of the EGC, and you can still do the whole "end game pig" thing, it's just slightly more difficult. I've experienced having traps on during EGC, and there's literally no way you can survive in that scenario. It was a NECESSARY change and it didn't really hurt Pig.
Nurse was still completely fine, and Spirit's nerf didn't change her at all, aside from make bad Spirit players not be as strong as they were previously, which obviously is how it should have been. Ruin was a buff. I don't think it was a nerf at all. No one's gonna be looking for Ruin specifically anymore to pop it, and it's still strong if you chase someone off a gen, and has MANY good synergies with it, and as I mentioned, a specific Freddy build I made makes it pretty much where you can not use puddles/pallets at all and still likely get a 3k as long as your totems are up. Even then, that combination slows the game down to the point you can snowball. It's basically Forever Freddy V2.

Freddy Rework yes same with med kirs, Nemesis is a perk...which on many killers isn't great, and alone is an average perk. Toolboxes got nerfed which was needed, however sabotages didn't, and I've actually used alot more toolboxes since the change. Add ons didn't effect me as I don't use add ons, and unless it's a key or a flashlight, they usually aren't a big deal. If you had to rely on add ons rather than items than your lacking skill elsewhere. Don't know what you mean by survivors bloodwebs suck... breakable walls can help alot, however we haven't seen them properly in action yet. Many maps changed as a buff.
Gonna make a second bit.
I haven't played much lately, as I quit around Ruin nerf when people started playing like dicks despite Ruin actually being a buff in my eyes(and matchmaking started being horrible). It's not important enough to look for the totem, but it's strong enough to actually ruin your progress if you get chased off a gen. It also opened up some really interesting builds, and one particularly almost overpowered build with Freddy which a lot of people probably don't know about. Tested it with a friend. As for Nemesis, he also tested something with me including Nemesis which was absolutely broken and could be used on any killer. Not gonna talk about that one either.
Now I play every so often but I don't play super often anymore. I'm actually like rank 13 now, with how often I play compared to previously always being in red ranks. With how killers decide to retaliate in games to the smallest changes, it's just much better playing in an on and off setting.

After the release of Ghostface (which was almost a year ago yet it feels like its been much longer) majority of the patches were survivor sided. This is the first patch in a long time that's mostly killer sided, and as the developers base alot of their changes off stats, the stats must have suggested that these changes were needed.
Additionally, I rarely see camping at Red Ranks. I do see the odd NoeD user, but I run Small Game so all totems are gone by that time.
I reccomend to flip to the other side of the coin. Play killer as much as you do survivor. Learn killers you struggle against. That's what I did. I learned how to play as Billy and Spirit, now I have a great survival rate against them.
Hm...med kit nerf? Freddy rework(huge buff)? Nemesis, sabotage nerf(yes it was a nerf), no longer keeping addons(while not a problem, still a nerf. Survivor blood webs suck ass and white ward is even more useless). Breakable walls being set up for future patches. Every new map being more killer sided. I think they buffed and nerfed both. Sorry to disappoint you.

You do realize you're stating the obvious right? It doesn't matter what gets patched or changed the Devs cannot please everybody. There are killer mains who love the patch and killers who hate it, same with survivors. The game will never be "Balanced" because there will always be people who think it isn't even if you believe it is.
P.S as for toolboxes, they aren't useless. Try using it for sabotaging a hook instead of slapping on a brand new part.
I'm sorry, but are you somehow telling players NOT to use something in the game that was given to them? Stealth is impossible. There are FAR too many ways for a killer to know where a survivor is. If we made this PURELY a stealth game killers would pretty much only need tracking perks and the game would fall on it's head. There are far too many ways to track survivors. If you want this to be a stealth game, make survivors able to stay in a locker forever without crows if in the killer's TR, remove all killer tracking perks, and make the maps as dark as they used to be. Oh and remove scratch marks. Then you can make your changes like removing pallets. Though bloodlust would also have to be removed due to no way to break it. This isn't hide and seek, as much as people want to claim it is. There are MANY ways to deal with certain situations. As far as I know, it's not intended to only be able to play one specific way.

Again, you're not being griefed just because the killer is playing dumb.
Yes, it sucks to be the first to die, but you got caught. Suck it up and just move to the next match. And if you're about to say, "But I'm SWF, so I can't just queue again!" then what the hell were your friends doing all that time?
So are you telling me I should one hook myself? Because I do if I'm being camped. If anyone else does then I hate it for them, I'm just saying that the killer is intentionally doing it to ruin another person's experience, which is what griefing is. Problem is, those same people don't appreciate those actions, and claim it's because it "ruins the other teammates' experiences", but what they're really complaining about is they don't get to have their power trip. People are even going so far as to try to suggest that one hooking yourself not be allowed. Problem is, the one hooking yourself is the SOLUTION, not the PROBLEM.
There's nothing wrong with people complaining about a person being a dick intentionally to ruin other people's experiences. That is not entitlement. People don't care about escaping every game as much as people think. They care about whether or not their opponent is a good sport. If they're a camper, they're NOT being a good sport.
Yes, there are situations where someone is forced to camp as a result of other things. Sad thing is, a lot of people do it just to ruin the game for everyone.

The killer killing you isn't "griefing".
Also, when I'm playing survivor, I'm fine with sitting on a hook while my team finishes everything because the killer can't stop staring at me. That's not "the most miserable experience", it's just amusing.
One more thing: If survivors would stop being so goddamn thirsty for unhooks, killers wouldn't seem to be "camping". Seriously, if you're going to follow the killer around like a lost puppy and constantly unhook people 2.3 seconds after they've been hooked, don't call it "camping" when they turn around and smack one of you.
(Seriously, that happens at least half of my games when I play killer, and then invariably the survivors whine that I "camped" or "tunneled". The hell do they expect me to do, just pretend I didn't notice the unhook that happened almost literally within my lunge range?)
Well guess what? In all of the games that I see a killer camping, he's doing it simply because he WANTS to. I'll be working on a gen, they'll have Kindred and he'll just be slapping them on a hook constantly. Seems like griefing to me. Sometimes I'll be the one to run a killer for too long, and he'll be slapping me on a hook constantly. While I'd rather either be unhooked to work on gens, or get back into another chase. Sitting on the hook is boring, and you're not being able to play the game. The killer is forcing you to be unable to play the game from the moment you're unhooked. I'd personally rather have one hook deaths with the upside of being able to lose the killer in a chase easier and I have suggested as such. People don't seem to like that idea. I wonder if it has something to do with the killer enjoying making someone miserable. I mean that would make killers a ton stronger, and I always see people asking for killer buffs. That would be a big buff to killers and a slight buff to survivors. I can't IMAGINE why they wouldn't want that.
No one as far as I'm aware is complaining about being killed. The killer refusing to actually play the game or let others play the game is a valid complaint imo.

I guess we're going to just disagree on the definition of the word fact then.
You're not being griefed just because a killer killed you. Dying isn't the same as "being prevented from playing", you just lost.
Move on and stop thinking you're entitled to the killer playing the way you want them to.
The death part isn't the problem. The being forced on the hook with no way to play the game is. You're not playing a game while you're on a hook. You set your hands off your keyboard and wait. It's like being put on the bench. The thing is, you don't get taken OFF the bench for the rest of the game. One hook does not mean death. Or it isn't supposed to. If you think being put on the hook once should be a loss, suggest my idea and spread it around. Otherwise it's not considered the killer killing you until you actually die. Thus, you are not being allowed to play the game, until you lose. You must be REALLY fun at parties.

If he was getting "easy" 4ks, you suck at going against Freddy. he can only be in one place at once, and there are three different methods to wake up:
- Clocks- short interaction with no notification, gives 30 second grace period
- Failed Skillcheck-instant and wakes up everyone at the gen, but sets back progress by 10% and notifies Freddy to teleport and put you to sleep again
- Failed healing wakes up the injured survivor iirc, but has the same downsides as above
- Awake survivors can wake up sleeping ones, but it gets slower each time
If you aren't awake the majority of the time, you honestly need to get better at the game. Freddy is literally an M1 Killer with even less chase potential than Clown or Trapper if you just stay awake
I like how you're telling me to get better at the game when you're telling people to walk to the other side of the map every time they take a small nap. I suggested the other ways to wake up instead. Btw I said it was AN easy 4k. As I tried it one game because I knew how dumb of an idea it was. If he has Red Paint Brush, the ONLY time you should be waking up is if you're ALREADY close to a clock. Any other time is killing your team. Freddy's power isn't all that powerful. You can memorize the pallets that have been used. If he is puddle Freddy, you can throw pallets early. It's much more time efficient than WASTING time walking to the other side of the map. I feel like you didn't read much of what I said. You should not be awake all game. You fall asleep very quickly, and if you're wasting time waking up every time you even catch a hint of a snooze, you're wasting time. If he's not on you, there's no danger. If he is on you, eventually you'll get hit and fall asleep anyways, unless he leaves you.
Btw, if you think waking up against Freddy is SO STRONG, why do you think that Forever Freddy was a problem? If all they had to do was wake up then obviously it shouldn't have been a problem? Right?

You do know that 90% of Freddy's kit is negated if you wake up right? His teleport cooldown is way longer, his traps are useless, he has a terror radius, and his addons have no effect.
You do know that it takes likely 30 to 60 seconds just to WALK to a clock, right? Freddy's power isn't special enough to have to force yourself to wake up. This just sounds like you want people to kill themselves. I've tried it myself, going to a clock every time just to wake up, because despite knowing how STUPID of an idea this was, I wanted to see if it worked. Guess what? It was an EASY 4k. Clocks spawn on the literal other side of the map AS A MECHANIC. Freddy's power is more useful IF people are going to clocks and waking themselves up.
If you want to wake up, it's best to get a gen to like 80-90% and fail the next skillcheck, unless he has RPB. If you happen to end up at a gen near the clock that you originally had, then that's also another good opportunity, but halting all gen progress just to go to a clock is stupid and will get your team killed. You have to either be WANTING to play on the stupidity of people to get easier games when you play Freddy, or just don't know how to play against him as a survivor.

This is the main point.
The number of times I've ended up with more kills than I deserved simply because survivors felt entitled to a full 4-man escape and hung around longer than they should have - and then raged in chat after about how I was being so unfair somehow - is staggering.
Just take the escape. Stop trying to make every match a "flawless victory".
The point I think OP is trying to make, is that that person on the hook will die, and all the gens will not be finished by the time they die, unless NO OTHER THINGS IN THE GAME have been done and everyone is humping gens already with no intention of getting the unhooked person off the hook to begin with, before they even know the killer camped. The killer will likely have another person hooked before 4 gens are finished, if two people are on the same gen, which happens extremely often due to how limited in number gens are and how survivors generally spawn together. People who claim "Just do the gens and leave and take your 3 man" aren't doing their math. If it takes 80 seconds to do one generator, and 3 people are on a generator each(not assuming anyone is with another person on a gen), that'd be 3 and a half gens worth of progress. This removes searching from chests, doing totems, and any other thing that survivors were given to do in a match. So this scenario would only happen in a perfect world. IN A PERFECT WORLD against camping, this is saying 2 people will likely die, and 2 people will likely escape, REGARDLESS of circumstances. Because survivors "shouldn't try to save against a camping killer" meaning that once that second person who is being tunneled to death gets hooked, the other two should leave. This is why it's not a "free escape" when someone's camping.
I always hear this word "entitled". Of course, it's because they're "entitled" that they feel bad for a fellow human who is having the most miserable experience in the game because a killer decided not to let them said game. What it seems to me is that killers are "entitled" to have their one kill regardless of how miserable of an experience they are making to another player. Almost like, dare I say it, griefing?

The only overpowered thing on you list is iri head huntress(seriously BHVR, stop letting it stack with infantry belt ffs).
For Freddy, stop genrushing for 30 seconds and go wake up
For Billy, keep breaking LOS and don't be greedy with pallets. if he chainsaws you at point blank he was already able to M1 you, so it's no different from Devour or MyC
Waking up against Freddy is actually the worst thing you could do because if you're not humping gens you're gonna die. People complain about 6 minute gen times but it's not like a killer can't get that same effect if people are not humping gens. If you wanna wake up, blow up a generator(if he's not using Red Paint Brush), otherwise, just stay asleep. You fall asleep far too often for it to be beneficial to run all the way to the other side of the map. Once is fine, but any more than that and you're killing your team. This is just me assuming, and I could be wrong(about you playing mostly killer), but this is why I feel a lot of killers talk about playing the survivor side like they know what they're doing, but then end up saying things like this.
I actually have a Freddy build that makes it pretty much necessary to wake up, and one person is forced to always be asleep. It pretty much destroys the logic that I have just said, but I won't tell though it because it's pretty frustrating and could likely have a rank 12 beat a team of rank 5s.

It's one thing to create characters like Yui, it's another to destroy a story and push a political agenda like what naughty dog has done.
They're just seeing how much they can get away with. It'll go further. It never stops at just one minor thing. A ton of people left Naughty Dog because of this type of thing invading their jobs. It's already in BHVR. Keep in mind, this type of political crap wasn't much in DBD originally. It will slowly expand, btw, it's happened in the latest character story as well. Trapper's had it too.

I just wanna thank Behavior not going down the road that Naughty Dog followed... I would also like a moment of silence for the Last of Us series.....
Naughty Dog.... WHYY? </3 :(
Not sure why you're thanking them. They're very similar. You can see it with each new character being added and in the extra story being added. If you read the stories, they're being a bit more tame, but it's still there.

You can't open the gates until the game's almost over. So they didn't leave the game; they just sat there the whole game. That's equivalent to a several-minute penalty.
Not really, A survivor still has to play some before they're killed just like a killer has to, unless they run right up to you and let you kill them. That's a few minutes for survivors too. If a killer not pressuring whatsoever for 3 or 4 minutes ends the game, that's a 6 minute game max. Games can't be too short and too long at the same time, pick one.

Omg! this is such a big buff to Self Care. Thank you OP for such a wonderful idea! Would love for my survivor teammates to only be able to use it a minimum of 3 times. Can we make it 2 with a 60% healing speed?

If there were to be a gay male in the game, it would most likely be David. If they're gonna hop on the shock sexuality reveal wagon then they might as well go for max impact by doin it with one of the most high testosterone, macho guys in the game. Just like how Overwatch picked Soldier: 76 for their own shock sexuality reveal.
I mean it'd also make a lot of sense as to why he is basically a bully in the "real world".
