  • I second this as someone who plays both killer and survivor equally, although for a time I was playing mostly survivor, and then took a break. The devs did a wonderful job with this update. I feel like I don't have to rely on the same 4 perks every match anymore. So much more to explore.

  • I play both killer and survivor and I don't understand why they want to uninstall the game (unless there's some huge bug keeping them from playing). Just petty, childish antics. I guess they never played any Dark Souls game or Elden Ring? I don't know but I agree... I'm fine. The only time I had to take a break was after months of toxicity but now that I'm back, I guess there will be less of that since they're all leaving now? ๐Ÿ˜Š

ive searched up Solasta but i guess theres no ps4 ver??

    i have evil dead :))

woaah outriders looks sick, its like a mix of destiny & fallout to me!! thanks for the recommendation!

All I know is it appeared on my list of suggestions on my Xbox. It's a lot like Dungeons and Dragons (literally like a carbon copy). Lots of fun. Outriders is definitely a lot of fun. You can turn on what's called World Tiers that makes the game more difficult as you play through to earn better rewards. Or you can leave it at whatever World Tier you feel comfortable at, and even change it later. And you're welcome!

  • I didn't prestige any of my characters before the update and I still kept all my perks plus tier 1 for everyone at level 50 (Freddy was tier 2 for some reason). Figured it'd be easier this way so I wouldn't lose my progress and can continue after the patch to prestige. I also don't play often which is why I made this decision.

  • https://dennisreep.nl/dbd/ has all the perks sorted by use and is usually up to date since it refers each to the Wikipedia page. I just checked and they're mainly updated with the new info.

communication is broken when swf have it, so the solution is to give solos the broken thing too? You already have almost as much info as swfs if you use 2 information perks like kindred/empathy/bond/alert/spine chill/etc. People just refuse to use them because they keep saying the meta is mandatory and nobody ever wins or does well without it.

I'm not even sure how to respond to your first statement, mostly because I don't play SWF. i'm also not here to debate whether it's a good idea or not. Mostly because I don't know since it's not even been implemented. I use information perks and do just fine, so I agree with this statement.

THat was given as an example, they never even committed to it.

I never said they committed to it. But i swear they mentioned it in their anniversary video. Could be wrong. But I was just explaining what those buffs were because they're not really buffs. Just HUD icons to tell other survivors what everyone is doing, which is already a thing with SWFs because they have mics and can just talk to each other, giving them an advantage.

  • @Raccoon said:

If I recall correctly, the original plan was to buff Solo to SWF levels, and then buff killers afterwards.

Was the kill rate truly so low that this plan was abandoned, altogether?

What they're implementing is notifications on survivor's icons to indicate what each survivor is doing, which is basically what happens in SWFs since everyone can just chat on mic. They're still working on it and I believe they said it will be released later this year.

It's the opposite for me, I feel like I'm being overly punished for the mistakes of other survivors. Since they go down faster it means less time on gens but at least someone's having a good experience on solo I guess.

As for your last point, you're right, I guess we just have to wait and see how things pan out, but I really hope solo gets some love soon to bring it closer to swf.

I guess it's just who you play with and against. I had a crappy team in one match but 2 of us got out in the end. Killer wasn't all that great either. Then I had a match where killer was great and I managed to get hatch. Then........ I lost a game. Survivors were focused on gens, just not great in chase. I'm not the best either but I typically use Lithe, Quick and Quiet, Dance with Me and one other perk of my choosing to quickly get away. For some reason, I'm doing a lot better with this build... Not even sure why. But like I said, definitely give it some time.

  • I lost a couple of matches. Sure, I got a few kills. Maybe you're just that good? I know I'm average.

This is what I'm saying, the perk was overpowered so the community complained and it got nerfed. It took a while, but when a player base puts pressure on the developers they can typically make changes.

And again, killers have been getting consistent buffs for a long time. This is just the most drastic change. They haven't been silent this whole time waiting for the devs to do something. Ghostface and Legion very recently got improvements.

Solo survivor is a nightmare right now, because the devs want to increase kill rates at their expense, so survivors will complain until solo queue gets buffed, that's just what happens.

I typically play solo q and do just fine. It was actually a bit worse before the update. Now I notice that I don't generally get punished because another survivor made a bad play and got hooked/killed. As long as I'm nowhere near the killer or capable of escaping a chase without making a mistake myself, I can still get out alive.

And yes, you're right about that. But many complaints lead to the recent changes. So now we complain about what we wanted? The devs listened to the majority of the community from both sides, as they should, and made these decisions. My overall point is to wait and see how things are in a month or so. Maybe longer if it has to be until the community adjusts to the changes. I'm just tired of the complaints when the community hasn't even gotten it's feet wet yet. Especially when this is what we all wanted to the most extent.

I agree whole heartedly. The killers did need a massive buff, I'm in full support of that, but the devs needed to actually deal with the tunneling and camping.

Many killers do it solely to ruin survivors fun, not because they are forced to. Now they can just do it, ruin survivor fun and win even more. Last night was not fun.

I honestly don't think they can without giving a massive buff to survivors... Again... It would be a never ending cycle. But I agree that camping and tunnelling shouldn't be a thing anymore. Hopefully something can be done. And I'm sure there are plenty of players with great ideas just waiting to be brought up. I know I have nothing on this situation... At least nothing that is likely possible.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3074705#Comment_3074705

I definitely get that, don't get me wrong. But I also think a killer shouldn't win if they don't have the game sense to know they can't commit to a chase on shack side of Blood Lodge when they have a 3 gen by main with 1 gen left. That's 100% a throw and survivors should be rewarded for extending that chase. Instead the killer was bailed out by 90 second gen+thana stacks+pain res.

The game should be balanced at a point where both sides are rewarded and punished for good and bad plays equally. It feels like the pendulum is a bit too far in the other direction now.

I get it. That's why survivors shouldn't do all the gens on one side of the map. Of course, that's to be expected in solo q which sucks. But by that time, maybe 2 or even 3 survivors take to chase against an unskilled killer to keep them off the gens? I will say, I think gens should be spread out a bit more further. And no way saying you're wrong. There will be those killers who stick to gens, chasing survivors off over and over not really going for the kill, extending the game almost indefinitely... Which I think is what you're referring to?

I'm not sure if that would be griefing or holding the game hostage at that point. But something someone should look into.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

It depends on how you look at it too. Because I had a few games yesterday where killers were able to completely overcommit in chase for way too long and they suffered zero consequences. Survivor feels a whole lot less rewarding.

When there's 1 player being chased by the killer, the other 3 players should be doing gens. Especially if chases are going on for too long. And it's the killer's goal to kill the survivors, so to do that, they have to be committed to chasing the survivors.

I've heard many, many, killer complaints while I've been playing this game. Why do you think dead hard was nerfed? It's important for the community to give feedback on things they don't like about the game, and things they appreciate. Also, killers have been getting buffs for a while now, this is just the latest and most drastic change. If survivors complain enough, it absolutely will make a difference, and I hope it does.

Like i said, which side lost the most players in the past year? Killers. Sure they complained but when it wasn't enough, they quit. Dead Hard was way too OP. It's perfect now and I'd you're all going to complain and quit because killers finally got some love, then go right ahead. But the devs aren't going to favor one side like they've been doing for survivors for years. Find new strategies, perks, builds or don't. Your choice. But the devs won't change things that work as intended. And DH now works as intended, not some crutch for people who were only skilled because they could gain distance from a dodge action. So do what you want. I can already tell you it won't change anything.

  • The thing is that the devs can't make everyone happy. But they can focus on balancing the game, which they did their best in the latest patch. People will complain no matter what, and that's just it. Survivors had always been complaining to begin with. Nerf this killer, that killer perk is too hard, this survivor perk was nerfed 5% and now it's useless, ect. Killer mains just decided to leave the game because it felt like survivors had all the say in every single change. Of course they will complain more now that killers got something for being mainly silent for so long. But hopefully it brings back killer mains which this game desperately needs. I'm glad the devs didn't give into all the complaint, but rather looked at where they were losing players and for what reasons like sending out surveys. I believe most of these decisions were made on those surveys, along with looking at all other data and feedback. So, let them complain. It won't change the outcome.

  • If I see more than one player with a flashlight in the waiting room, I use Lightborn. I also don't go after the 3 hanging out at the lockers. I go for the one that's doing gens because more than likely, the other 3 won't be doing them. The idea is to not play into their childish antics. Eventually they will screw up. One final thing... If you see them go into a locker, don't rush after them. Hang back and if you see them start to come up, rush in because you will most likely grab them. If not, a hit will suffice. I hope this helps the next time you come across one of these.

I swear I'm just super unlucky. Isn't she supposed to be super common right now? Everyone else gets games against her, why don't I? I just wanna play against the love of my life, is that too much to ask for? Please DBD gods, I'll do anything, I'll play perkless Clown and perkless Twins back to back if that's what it takes.

I played Spirit last night! I still got a 4K with the new changes. I guess it's because I have really good headphones and can hear footsteps really well? Spirit is one of my favorite killers and I don't plan on stopping after the update. If we come across in the fog, good luck! I might even be merciful... ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am still escaping just like i did before. Its honestly funny tbh. The amount of people who have 6 years of using DH all of a sudden losing it and not knowing how to loop is unreal. You can tell who needed the DH crutch.

I played against a couple of survivors yesterday who definitely knew how to use it. I hit them and didn't even realize they used DH, but they didn't go down. I had to check at the end of the match to confirm that they did indeed have DH. For that alone, I started giving the others (and probably will for some time) the hatch or letting them go. I know I don't have the skills to use it property (even before the update) and for that, I will continue to reward skilled players so they don't sit at low MMR with the likes of me. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Behavior will adjust its ... behavior. If I'm cautious and play proper hide and seek, things are fine except against the usual busted killers. When I try to showboat and be obnoxious, I get hammered.

I love this. Best response to the changes I've seen yet.

This update is miserable, nothing else really too it.

    Dead hard could be faked

Decisive Strike could be left or eaten

    But no, too strong (not)

Killers are now nearly unstoppable and I think all survivor mains can agree this update is bad.

The developers always treat this game like survivors are some AI and always baby the killers when they dislike something, when are we gonna be free from the scape goat the killer's use us as? Before the update we could run no perks and beat killers and they'd still complain about us.

I have never once truley complained until now.

Honestly, I played both killer and survivor last night and both sides were great. I actually almost won against a really good Nurse (5 gens done, all other survivors killed before I was hooked and killed) and I did lose a few games as killer. I find the game to be more balanced now. I get everyone wants to use the OP perks, but the whole idea was to take away OP builds and allow for more perk build options. Not everyone should be running the same perks. Use perks to your own playstyle. That's what I did (and did in the past to a huge failure) and it works great now.

Also, survivors have always been given buffs and it's about time the killers get some as well. There are still pretty good perks for survivor. Off the Record is a beast now. Dead Hard when timed right is perfect. I'm terrible at using DH, but when I played killer, I definitely noticed it. What's the best is that I no longer feel stressed playing either side.

So please don't think the update is miserable when it just came out and you haven't tried to play around with different perks to your own advantage. Unless you're just here to complain, then go for it. But I doubt the devs will favor complaining over the changes they spent months working on.

  • Least: The Deathslinger. He just seems "meh" to me. I don't find him that scary. Also, the Clown is just annoying. I think he laughs and coughs way to much. Must be the covid.

Favorite: Several in fact... Pyramid Head because I love Silent Hill (god I miss those games), Sadako because she has me on edge, the Oni because I'm always running and literally screaming as I run, especially when he comes out of nowhere. The Twins, the sounds they make just send chills up my spine. Every single stealth killer.

As you can tell, I like scary killers.

Yes and I stand by it

Being on console, I'm not exaggerating that it is faster for me to play an entire second match than it does to fill out that reporting stuff. I need to record the game on my Xbox, upload the video to Twitter, go to my computer, rip the video from Twitter to my computer since you can't just link to the video, write down the Cloud ID of the offending party and really hope I don't get one letter wrong since I can't copy/paste it over, write down my Cloud ID and really hope I don't get one letter wrong since I can't copy/paste it over, and then finally submit it.

If the report function wasn't such a convoluted mess, I'd be perfectly fine with hitting the report button and letting BHVR deal with it but it's not.

Agreed. I too don't like how the system is set up on console. I have to literally grab my laptop, log into the website and then manually enter a ton of information that can just be pulled from the match data by us pressing a button like you said. Now I know on console, we only have a button to press so I'm not sure if they receive all the data, but adding a description section at least so we can fill in what we are reporting to be more accurate would be sufficient. PC players have this option. Not sure why us console players can't. But if they are already pulling data from matches, then they should be able to pull information like when a player moves faster than they are capable of, instantly healing, moving through areas that a player should not be able to move through such as walls or the floor, ect. As someone who's worked with automated error reporting and quality & assurance, this is possible.

I currently work in insurance and there are system generated errors when we process endorsements, quotes and renewals, and we have to check the error reports daily to correct them. it's all data driven, identifying when things are trying to process outside the boundaries that are laid out by the system. In short, I completely agree. It's not the player's job to always be reporting bugs, cheating, ect. If I wanted to do that, I should be getting paid as a tester since it's their job to identify issues and help resolve them. It really makes me wonder if Behavior has game testers that test the game in a live setting rather than a controlled environment. It would be easy. Play the game, identify issues, send in a ticket, assist in resolving the issue by testing patches on a test server, once released, test in live environment and repeat. If they don't, I highly recommend they do. It'd probably save a lot of headaches from this community. Plus players could report issues as well and the devs can take the match data and verify as well. But there would definitely be a lot less players having to report incidents.

    I'm not a survivor main.

I played her,I play againts her,if not even nurse doesn't have valid reasons for a nerf then I'll just end the discussion here.

I've played against her and survived plenty of times. When she get's ready to teleport, run back to her in random directions. Eventually she'll just teleport far past you. It's similar to playing against the Spirit. And like I said, high skill set to play as. I'm terrible with aiming her and judging where she will teleport to. In fact, I'm terrible with any killer that has to aim... Deathslinger, Huntress, ect. But I don't think they should get buffed just because I'm terrible at playing them.

Dude, it's a game, games are meant to be fun and this "tactic" is unfun and unhealthy for the game. This is not a competitive game. Also what is with these excuses. You sound like someone who never plays survivor, which would explain a lot. If a tactic removes a player prematurely the tactic should be patched. I have never seen any other multiplayer game that literally lets you eliminate an opponent early and have them do nothing for the rest of the match but watch.

And mind I remind you, DbD is the only asymm game out there that is popular and still going, you can't just say "It's a player elimination game" as if you can compare it with any other game. Every other game still gives you a chance to get revived after elimination and are usually so high-paced that matches end really quick so it doesn't matter that you die. You go in, have like a 5 min match and it's done. Or you die first round, but then are back next round all healthy and ready to go!

Not sure how the argument started with Crowman, but in a way you're both right. It's not fun to always camp and tunnel, but how else should killers secure at least one kill per game in the state it's in right now? I'm hoping after the update, we'll see many of the killer mains who left the game return and less camping/tunneling. All in all, you said it best. It's just a game. It's not supposed to be about competition. Survivors survive, killers kill. Plain and simple. But do understand you're both right.

  • @HungrySnek said:

Slugging is probably one of the most boring things ever in this game. You stay on the ground and have to wait until the killer decides to finally pick you up after thinking about it for 2 Minutes or until a survivor comes to you and picks you up hoping that the killer doesn't down you the next second again.

I don't even wanna start talking about Nurse and perks that actually make slugging even easier and more annoying.

We need a new mechanic that punishes the killer for leaving you on the ground and A) let's you bleed out or B) just can't find you again.

    Here is my idea:

After 50% of the bleed out Meter is already emtpy you have the ability to lick your self up. After reaching 99% of the recovery Bar you start a 5-10 second Animation where the survivor slowly begins to stand up. While this Animation is happening skill checks will apear and all have to be hit (like merciless storm). If the survivor mamanges to hit all skill checks he is injured again with a 10 second Endurence buff.

If the survivor fails the skill check the Animation stops and the progress of the recovery Meter get's back to 50%

    There are perks for that.

    Can you read?

And no, they have not been punished enough for camping and tunneling, in fact the next patch just rewards them more.

I'm not gonna read all that.

I can read. In fact, I went back and read everything else you said despite you refused to read everything I said. Sorry you don't like the changes. But they're happening and there's nothing you can do about it.

  • @Adaez said:

Do we have an ETA?Because its the killer everyone complain the most about and this time, for good reason.

Now that we have given the killers some buffs, its time to adress the issue that Nurse has been,FOR OVER 6 YEARS and she was still not properly nerfed yet.

Just because people complain about it doesn't mean it needs nerfed. Nurse requires a very high skillset to play, and I for one suck at nurse. Just because survivors are the loudest voices in the room doesn't mean they get to say what happens to the nurse. I would love for every person complaining about her to actually try and play her first. Then, they might have a say in if she needs nerfed.

  • @Marigoria said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3061002#Comment_3061002

I'm not asking to remove camping and tunneling. You can do that if you want. But you should be punished for it.

Are you saying killers shouldn't be punished? Because they have been, for a long time. Killers camp and tunnel because they have no other options especially when they get a bully squad (happens a lot in higher MMR). But when one goes down and loses, the other 3 survivors get toxic. Especially after the game is over. All because the survivors want to have fun at the expense of the killer. And I get why killers keep leaving the game. Always losing because survivors have OP skills, using the same one's over and over because it ensures a win. To me that's just boring. Then you have to think of new players. Telling people GG EZ or Get Good isn't going to make people want to play more. Balancing the game because it is heavily survivor sided (most of the community are survivors, so it makes sense because they have the loudest voice in the room) is going to make more killers return and newer players want to play. So I hope you're talking about killers because they have been punished and silenced for far too long. It's about time they get buffed because truthfully, killers should be powerful. That's the whole concept of the game. Survivors aren't vengeful ghosts, demons, mutants, ect. It would be like saying the bosses in every other video game needs to be nerfed to deal the same damage, have the same health and abilities as the main characters, or even less. Survivors shouldn't be as powerful or more powerful than the killers. And they shouldn't be punished for being what they should be.

  • I really wish the Devs would give us an update on the kill rates... Maybe twice a year? Especially with all the changes happening, even maybe more often when there are a lot of changes? I think the community can benefit from knowing this information.

  • I'm not sure the disable after a survivor is killed is necessary with the nerf to 200%. But I'll have to see how it works out when the update comes out. It's not like I use it anyways because it's usually the first thing to go in the first 2 minutes of the game and when I'm survivor, I always go looking for it if I see it's active. And I always check. They could either leave it at 400% and then deactivate after first kill, or 200% and never deactivate unless a survivor destroys it. That's my thoughts.

  • @ArchAbhor said:

I'm not sure if this has been addressed yet. Its when multiple survivors have flashlights and hop into lockers to bait out grabs for free flashlight saves. Its very abusable and shouldn't be in the game imo. Has bhvr said anything about this?

I know exactly what you're talking about. I once played a game last year as killer where the entire team did this, stunning me over and over for 10 minutes with flashlights, Head On, Vigil and flashbangs. I wasn't even trying to grab a player from the locker. I just happened to be near one during a chase and when I downed them near the locker, they started trolling this over and over. It was like they were holding me hostage because none of them were doing gens except 1 at a time, like they were cycling to get their flashbangs ready to stun me in the same spot. I reported them all for griefing. Hope they were banned because one was streaming on Twitch and I sent Behavior a link to their stream. Had to D/C to leave the game because at 1 gen left, they just kept trolling and I was just over it by then. Definitely an exploit that needs to be looked into, but it's not common for survivors to do that. It was one time that happened to me. That was the game that I just decided to stop playing killer for a while. Not necessarily baiting me for a flashlight save but definitely abusing lockers, flashlights, flashbangs, ect all while laughing and calling me names in their stream. Wasn't fun, but yeah. Just my thoughts and experience.

Damn that stuff your smoking must be good let me get some lol.

I'm not going to be a negative nancy and just throw in the towel. Plus, what other game can I go up against some of my favorite horror villains from movies like Hellraiser, or video games like Pyramid Head? There aren't that many games out there to choose from to play with others. Plus, I'm on console, which is why I don't really have much of a choice. But I'm not going to worry about it right now. When the update comes out and if it is worse, then I'll judge it. Till then, my mind is set on excitement. And no, I'm not smoking anything.

  • As a survivor main who plays solo queue, I'm happy with the changes and won't be leaving.

  • Dead Hard is supposed to be a dodge ability. To make you dodge the killer's attack. Not super rush 2-4 meters whenever you want. I like the change. It might make it easier for me to use anyways.

I'm sorry i like every change but what the hell is this

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/MB0XTZ6B53RX/image.png

the hex is suppose to stay there to annoy survivors to finding it, making ruin even worst and making it automatically deactivate, just kinda makes it useless, like i know we are trying to shift the meta but ruin was already bad

it should have been a thing for survivors once all 4 survivors fully heal in CoH it disables itself so the survivors are forced to leave that specific spot

like don't get me wrong corrupt disabling itself after getting a down is perfectly fine and fair (unless its SWF but we don't talk about those )

and also survivors get a basekit barrowed time but killers don't get shattered hope?

is anyone even running it, because its not only a gamble because how am i sure im gonna have a boon every game and plus it doesn't provide a single extra help in any moment in the game or works with other perks, and honestly its still kinda useless on some maps like eyrie of crows, since i can't waste any time going up there

i know this patch is full but i hope you consider making it base kit because i can't see anyone using it when you can run other perks that can help you (of course im excluding blight and nurse or any killer that has more speed than normal killers )

You're right. What's the point of lowering the regression speed if it's not even going to be active as long as the survivors keep it up through the game? Also, do the devs know that Hex: Ruin isn't always used because survivors can take it out really quickly early game? Or are they planning to hide the ruins better? If it stayed up while being at normal regression, that should just be fine. Not sure what they were thinking on that one. I have similar thoughts on other perks but that one is a huge change that will make the perk useless now.

  • Definitely a good step in the right direction. I wouldn't say that it's about exactly how they know their game, but the fact that they know they can expand beyond simple coding and that they are listening to their community is huge. Point is they are now taking huge risks, something we all have been asking for, is crucial. Getting both the data, listening to us here in the community and through surveys have been beneficial and I hope that continues. It's a great way to give them feedback. We are finally seeing the game shape into a more balanced game. The way they balanced gameplay aspects with perks on both sides is huge. I still think they need a team of testers who actually play the game with other players online, identifying issues, ect. Live testing is crucial to overall game health and last I heard, they don't do that. Things can be missed and the more information coming from as many sources as possible is required to keep this game thriving. Do I think this update will forever make the game better? No. I think that hiring live testers, continued data gathering and surveys can help keep it better going forward.

At first glance this looks impossible but idk the average games are played in an hour so I can't make an accurate assessment. Like assuming the average game is somewhere around 8 hooks with 6-8 safe unhooks... thats still nearly 172k games to complete that challenge.

They may need to adjust the personal contributions for that one but we won't know until people start doing that challenge. But around 2 million is a good number for overall contribution.

  • They just updated the community event. Looks like we'll make it. I didn't expect 10 million on the first challenge but hey, glad it's changed!

  • Just logged into the game. They changed the goals. And my bad it is 12 days.

This sucks. I was really excited about that Dredge cosmetic. The weapon part is useless on its own.

I am so disappointed that they created a community challenge that can't be completed. That's beyond disheartening. I've never seen game devs do that to their playerbase before.

It's still possible we get that. I don't foresee us completing tier 1 of the event though.. Possibly not even getting Haddie's other cosmetic. Definitely not completing tier 2.

20? Isn't it 12 days left? I certainly hope the devs do something, I get freebies shouldn't be handed to us but they made those cosmetics available during this event to get for free so I doubt they wouldn't want people to get them. It would be like teasing an animal with a treat and not giving it to them. Inhuman

It started yesterday and it's 20, 19 now. Either way, it's going to go by fast. We also have a second tier. 20 days for 2 tiers and we are nowhere close to completing the first one... Plus people are working on the personal ones and you can't do both, there's no logical way we can even complete tier 1. It might be possible to complete 2 of the challenges at this rate. If we do 6 million a day, it will take 4 days to complete the first challenge. That doesn't include the 40 limit we can contribute with the variable of how many players are doing this challenge.

So I guess petition to have the challenges reduced a bit? Or to let us contribute more towards the goal.

Petition. The event ends in 19 days making this clearly impossible.

it's not stupid at all! You can easily miss the pop up of the mask when you finish the game.

I escaped 4 games last night and didn't see the pop-up notification. I did get 4 masks though, despite having to search each character to see which ones I got. But yeah, not once did I see the notifications pop-up.

This. I spent nearly a minute with a survivor kicking and tapping a gen. It was hilarious and I thought that community challenges were passive like in most other games

It should just be damaging gens by any means. I hate kicking gens when playing killer and prefer other perks that automatically damage them like Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance. The fact that survivors can stop gen regression in less than a second compared to how long it takes to kick a gen is just atrocious.

  • So far they've been generous. I had 2 games out of 4 where they just let me leave. One I was able to escape without camping or tunneling involved. The last game my teammates left me on the hook the entire game, no camping involved. Oh well. But yeah, hasn't been bad for me.

  • I just recently had issues with my provider which took them almost 2 months, and a report to the FCC, to fix. I was d/cing at least one game a day. Not once have I received anything other than a 5 minute ban which by the time my internet was fully restored, I was able to play right after starting up the game again. So from my perspective, I'm not really sure why anyone has an issue unless they are constantly d/cing almost every game daily.

  • I hope they don't remove the RPD map. It's almost an exact replica of the police station from the game and should stay as is. They should just add another map because there are plenty of locations to choose from.
