Wraith's mori must be the most boring and uninspired one.
And Trappers mori would be +300% cooler, if he pushed a suevivor headfirst into one of his Beartraps.

The thing with Nurse is that her base speed is so low, that she would never hit a regular M1 attack, besides the rare lunges that survivors missjudge, so she couldn't use half the perks if her Blicks were just M2 special attack.
But we all know how oppressive stuff like Starstruck Nurse can be, so in the past the most even minded voice advocated for tube first Blink to be an M1 and the second Blink be an M2 special attack.
I think that this would be the best approach: Nurse could still use all perks, but it would add a skill and tactical component.

sure mate, have u tried agaisnt a decent artist?
For real thought, have you tried playing her? She might seem strong, but she isn't firing Missiles, but first needs to hit you with a marker light and then follow up with the airstrip, while the target moves away.
A strong, well played Artist can be very oppressive, but that player went through the valley of tears and t-bags before they learned all the tricks. Artist is far from the strongest of killers or OP and good skills and hours poured into mastering a killer should be rewarded.
Have you seen what sick hatchet throws Huntress mains with 1000h+ can pull off? That's stuff that only grows with experience.

The games I played against the bots were insanely easy, mind-numbingly easy. They honestly seemed worse than a brand new player most of the time. It works for the goal of training, but I don't see anyone playing against bots exclusively and not getting bored after one or two matches.
Not saying there isn't going to be anyone who does enjoy it, and if you do more power to you. I just hope they get better down the line.
Just give it a few months to train the machine learning algorithms. In no time the bots will be slaying it in perfect manners.
You guys remember the Spirit Terminator killer hack from a few month/half a year ago?

Ghostface and Tricksters mori I have seen the most, they seem to be very fond of equipping their mori offerings.
And of course Myers, but that's more of a Tombstone situation.
I myself love using Pyramidheads offering: I think its one of the very best mori and most peeps never see it and think that his Final Punishment is his actual mori.
Honorable mention: a fair share of Weskers also use their mori, but far from the same frequency as Ghostface.

Entity bless his soul, survivors will be comfortable sitting on gens and see him placing down traps, taking notes.

Yeah, I don't like Shattered Hope either. You're bringing a perk that only exists to counter someone else's perk so, if they don't have that perk, you get no value.
If they want to keep Shattered Hope as a perk, it should do something else besides just kill boons so that you can get use out of it even if no one brings any.
CHANGE: Every gen that gets done your Shattered Hope gets charged and when its charged you can smash a dull totem, either depriving survivors of their own resources (Overzealous, Inner Healing etc) or powering your own Pentimento.

I main Pyramid Head because I really, really don't like hook perks. I ignore them all, as I was made to drink survivor tears and send them to the far corners of the map. I practiced my POTD until my thumbs bleed, but now I can hit survivors through shack walls blindfolded and wallow in their misery. I honed the Pyramid Head wombo combo of hook, tunneling of hook and cage and tunneling out of cage into The Entities maw in 1:04min and am working hard to speed run it in under 1min. I did a TOS run and the theoretical minimum is 49s; its though, but not impossible.
On the survivor side I main Jill, because she is confirmed best girl, now even talks and has the best Jaw physics and facial animations in the whole game. And I love running Blast Mine ... which is always fun with her, because Killers could expect it (its one of her native perks).

Just give us the perk "Just Leave": if a survivor crouches ìn the exit gates area more then two times per second, the Entity blocks the exit gates for them for 30s. If a survivor stands inside the exit gate area for more then 30s the Entity gives them the exposed status effect. If a survivor flashlight clicks more then 2 times out of the exit area the Entity knocks the item out of their hand and holds it in place for 30s"
All not very strong effects and actually not worth a perk slot, but I guarantee that loads of killers will find a permanent place intheir loadouts for this perk, and the ensuring meta would quickly educate survivors about exit gate etiquette.

i dont see how they leaving affects you in any way is them getting penalization, not you.
Is this for real? No jokes, no hidden camera?
If a survivor DCs or suicided on hook right at the start of the game, this basically seals the deal for the other 3 survivors. Sure, if the killer relaxes their game at this point and/or makes some very bad decisions while the survivors really bring all their a-game, then maaaaaaybe they can eek out a win, but for every instance of this happening, there are 30 games were the team just straight up loses with no chance of been given a fair chance, because one selfish person didn't want to play the game they queued up for.

That's a good question.
On the one hand, it is kinda busted and it's inconsistent with nearly every other method of damage in the game (I think Trapper's injure-when-disarming traps are the same, and so is For The People, but neither of those are half as direct as Plague following you around puking on you), but on the other, you can waste a ton of Plague's time if she tries to puke on you instead of M1ing you by using structures or just spinning in circles and messing with her FOV. You can usually force her to smack you or eat enough of her time that she may as well have M1ed you from the start, so I've never been too bothered by this.
I'm absolutely biased on having a reason to want to keep it, though.
I always thought that this was part of her kit and identity: instead of M1-ing a survivor in a chase, giving them a speedboost and then chasing them down like any normal killer, she pukes on you and slowly infects you till you are too weak and feeble to run away and THEN strikes you down in one, fell swoop.
If survivors would just get injured after getting fully infected, the speed boost would just feel wrong. At that point you could also just give them the faintest lick of the plague and then M1 everyone, like every other killer, too. This mechanic sets her appart and this is her niche.

Profile pic sus, wheres the clown gameplay story?
Here is one copy-pasted from a recent discussion. :)
"Yeah, don't worry about it. In one of my latest game as the Clown I was pitted against a bully duo, who tried to t-bag at palettes, flashlight click, the whole shabang and going for each others saves (the last one is obviously not toxic, but you get my gist), I think the other two were soloQs, but during the game I just saw typical bully behaviour and shifted gears from "chill killer" to "mean killer".
I had played around with a wallhack build, ie Cigar Box+Garish Makeup Kit and so could foil nearly every sneaky survivor trick. After the game they accused me of hacking and that I always knew were everyone was while I wasn't running any info or aura reading perks. I pointed out my add-ons, but that didn't satisfy them and they stuck to their version of me cheating. shrug Even if they had video footage of the game, it wouldn't show anything unusual going on. I bet if you could rewatch that match you would see a Clown chugging aroung an extraordinary amount of yellow bottles and spinning in circles.
So, instead of worrying take such accusations as a batch of honor: you played so well and stomped them so hard that you MUST be cheating. ;)"

I call this the “you need it more than I do” build.
No Mither - You are afflicted with Broken for the duration of the trial
Blood Pact - When either you or the obsession are injured, you see each other’s auras
Botany Knowledge - Increases healing speed by 50%
Desperate Measures - For every injured, dying, or hooked survivor, your healing speed is increased by 14%
This build takes advantage of the fact that No Mither leaves you permanently injured. Because you are always in the injured state, Blood Pact is always active, allowing you and your obsession to see each other at all times. In addition, Desperate Measures gains a stack when you are injured, and obviously to heal someone, someone has to be injured—meaning that simply by having someone in the game who needs to be healed, you have 2 stacks of Desperate Measures for +28% healing speed. Combined with Botany, you basically have a passive 78% healing speed buff at all times. The whole idea behind the build is that you become a healing/utility powerhouse at the cost of your own survivability—kind of like a support player in a hero shooter or a MOBA.
"You need it more then I do" - this is not how I roll. I'll die in the first chase with any no Mither build ^_-

Yeah, that should work. Also there has been a lot of Stranger Things rumors this year and its entirely possible that the franchise may return back into the fold at one point; then even with Vecna as a second killer in tow. But I would recon that BHVR doesn't want a situation like this one here repeating and in the future don`t agree to time limited licenses, but at that time Stranger Things was one of the big pulls for some people, me included.

They added reassurance as an anti-camping perk but it's ultimately ineffective, unless you are in a swf and you stack 3 of it.
But even if you can maximise the value of reassurance, gens take 10 seconds longer and killers have deadlock to help them camp. So yeah camping is still a very effective thing unfortunately.
Way to fix reassurance and make it the anti camping perk that it always was meant to be: increase its range to 10m and give it three charges for the entire match. You could blow all charges on the same survivor or spread them out, but there is a hard limit by which you can extent hooks.
Donel.

I feel seen.
For real though, the need more of these unsafe tiles on the larger maps. Putting them in the smaller maps like Coal Tower was a mistake, that map was fairly balanced by being small (good for killer) and having strong tiles (good for survivor). There wasn't a reason to make it killer-sided.
Please take them out of McMillan and put them in Mother's Dwelling.
And then delete mothers dwelling. Thats the new game plan!

Because it's simply not worth taking up a perk slot. I never see Shadowborn run personally at all, and I would never use it, because it doesn't give you any advantage. Evidenced by the fact that stretched res (which does the same for first person view as an increased FoV) didn't offer any advantage to the killer.
Try working out if the killer has Shadowborn based on the angle of their red stain. You can't. It's negligible. But in terms of ease of playing, in terms of quality of life, it would make the game feel much better.
During the last big discussion about this I was somewhat low-key defending not putting it in the game, becasue I thought it might be too much of an advantage and I didn't like the trend with asking for more and more perks going basekit.
But I then equipped the perk for an evernoon, and while it felt somewhat nice and gave a sort of need for speed feeling, I not once felt that I found a survivor that I would have otherwise missed. In essence, totally a perk that ain't worth it for me.

I don't even think it's a case of whiny survivor mains. I think a lot of people just don't have much of a reason to think about it, since most people don't suffer from motion sickness. Which I don't blame them for, but it feels kinda bad when we motion sickness sufferers bring it up and largely get ignored or told to just deal with it.
During the last wave of motion sickness discussions you guys convinced me and I now support your claim. Also, contrasting Shadowborn with Borrowed Time seems weird, as how weak Shadowborn is in comparison, even though this kinda comparisons shouldn't be made, but still, this shows that it should actually be a non-issue and Shadowborn should probably give another buff. Better nightvision would be thematic, but I guess survivors love being undetectable in the Garden of Joy main building, so this would be a hard sell. :P

Peeps, be careful, you are playing a dangerous game here! At the moment there are still enough player who are pressing space to continue, and we should all be glad for this simple fact. Should this number ever drop below a certain threshold, though ... I am not allowed to talk about the consequences, but lets just say that it would make old Ruin, Old DS, Forever Freddy and release MoM look like baby toys. First thing that came to mind.
There was a bug for a while where the last kill/sacrifice wasn't counting, so your Devout Emblem was always shorted and it was fairly impossible to double pip. Rumor is that's fixed, but I've not tested it.
I noticed that bug, too, and in the meantime I have gotten Iri Devout Emblems without a hitch.

Hello,
its hard to tell from this picture, but could the killer be running the Hex perk Blood Favor? If they hit you with a basic attack, all palettes in 16m can't be thrown for 15s.
But you should have a curse icon in that case.

Technically Franklin's doesn't help much against toolboxes since 99% of survivors just use it at the first gen they find.
The best way to utilize toolboxes I found requires a bit of panache and self-restraint: if you aren't the chosen one who gets into the killers first chase, then you can usually finish the first gen in peace, and with some luck someone else will soon follow up with gen 2.
Slamming gen 3 in the middle of the map can be really valuable, and this is when the toolbox shines the brightest. But its inherently dangerous, as you might get downed and even killed, before ever getting any value out of it. But its worth keeping in the back of the mind. The ultra chad move is using your BNP for the last gen.

So basically, whenever I play killer, sometimes matches becomes unplayable due to rubberbanding and lagging around, and I know people will say "it's probably your internet" but my internet is normally pretty fine, and I only have this issue whenever I play killer, never when I play survivor, and after timing it, it always lasts for 2 minutes exactly every time. Does anyone else have this issue?
Rubberbanding has been an on and off problem ever since I played DBD. Sometimes it disappears for month, just to suddenly appear again. At the moment I am not suffering from it, but I think two patches ago I had some serious rubberbanding problems and I remember that even streamers complaints about it.
-
9s self-heal out of the box with a base green med-kit is insanely fast. You could do 5 self-heals with that in the time it takes a self-caring Claudette in the bushes.
9s .. that can be a killer loosing sight on you and looking the wrong way, then the other and boom, you are healed, all pressure gone. This is really an insane speed, and if you got a whole team who coordinates, slamming gens while you are chasing someone and taking the occasional hit, you probably couldn't even conceivably tunnel someone out if you tried.
I agree that we shouldn't throw this term around carelessly, but with items having become cheaper then ever a lot of survivors can effort to run one every match, especially now with the halloween dowsing rods + blood hunt giving everyone more BP then they can spend in 40min.
Again, I am not trying to paint this as the uttmost problem DBD has, but this inconsistancy and vast differences between different players, groups and build is a real nightmare. When I get stomped a couple of games in a row I sometimes shift gears and go in as hard as I can from the start, and when I finally realise that I was up against a casual group with a baby Dwight in tow, someone might already be dead.

Having the same 4 survivors with same perks, also the same killer in both match A and B.
Survivors team A have no item. Survivors team B have 4 Ranger, Gel dressing, Styptic, Syringe...
How can you balance perks when the gaps of item/addon investing between 2 teams this huge?
I really think item should be nerfed but free, come with a single version Brown (act like killer's power), and buff addon in return. To reduce the item investment gaps
To jump on the problem highlighted by C3Tooth, here is a visual aid made by Otzdarva highlighting this problem. A survivor with no med-kit vs a survivor with a build and a tooled out med-kit is such a vast difference, that its basically night and day. Med-kits are arguable the strongest items in the game and if you push them to their limits you can basically heal faster then the killer can unjure you. This inconsistancy is what drives imbalance and might push even chill killers into the tunneler territory (all killers are misunderstood saints in bloody robes :V /s).
But for real, when you see a med-kit or a toolbox, you got no idea what you might get and some killers might just take no chances and go all in, thereby stomping just a group of casual friends who are fooling around with their camping medkits thats good for a single healing.

People can lose games and sometimes you lose multiple games in a row. Good players will win more than they lose. No reason to get upset over every single loss.
I hadn't seen the stream yet, but as I know D3AD, he will just comment on some of the strong combos, maybe be surprised, but take ot like a champ with little emotions shown. I would be surprised if he throw any kind of tantrum at the SWF. But I'll be sure and watch it now :)

SWF is not a small amount of players. The devs said way before 6.1 that at least a 2 man makes up 54% of games and that's certainly more now after the patch
Yeah, but 4 man SWF death squads are much rarer then people sometimes make them to be. Most SWFs are 2 man duos of just friends hanging out, doing gens, helping each other out and sometimes trying some meme build together. You get the occasional toxic duo, but this are rare. A lot of Twitch players are 3 man SWFs with one random or a full 4 man SWF, and while this are often good players and a fair amount of them play toxic for views, only a small percentage of them are really that what you would call a seal team.
The real 4 man SWF death squads aren't that high of an occurence, but I would still want to see after a match who was in a SWF with whom. I think that this would help with both: peeps hiding behind SWFs and claiming that they were all solos and just randomly together and seeing how many SWFs are actually in games that you as the killer totally dominated and stomped.
-
@Veinslay said:
Sounds like "D3ad" needs to learn how to pressure gens!
Or maybe just let the man lose from time to time? I mean, no matter how good you are, if you are faced with equally good players and maybe have a little of a bad day, you lose. Its not that this was a DBD championship final or something, it was just a random day of the week type of game.
If one of the best players loses two times in a row, so what? He will be stomping again in now time. So everyone just chill ^^
