I know I'm newer to the game but since joining the forum I feel like I only want to camp now. Survivor mains really seem upset that they can get caught by the killer and not get a free unhook. Did I miss a memo where getting a guaranteed kill by patrolling the area to keep survivors from unhooking, and maybe getting another hook isn't allowed?
I've actually gotten hate mail for shouldering a survivor who was attempting a rescue. Am I supposed to watch, if I was why is that mechanic in the game!?

Huntress main on PS4: Got DBD on the free release and loved it. Got into a match against the Huntress before I even knew she was a killer and got dropped by a long bomb hatchet and just had to play her.
I now live for the long bomb.

I've found that I get the most hate when I kill a person right out the gate. For example, I had a match this weekend where I hooked a survivor within the first minute because they tried and failed to loop. His buddies left him until the entity was summoned and then pulled him off while I was cruising the gens. By dumb luck I find the injured survivor at a dull totem, he doesn't move (I guess my eyesight is based on movement) so I drop him and hook him. They leave him to die and in under 4 minutes, the game is over for him.
Right on time, I get a message from them "No skill, tunnel b**tch". You can't win I swear. His poor play got him hooked both times, he was never camped, and his poor tracking of my location is what let me find him the 2nd time.

I know but slugging is bad and unfun to play against.
Nuts to that, use whatever means to max points and kills. Slug everyone if you want to, don't hinder your play by made up honor rules. Survivors don't care about honor rules at all.

Pretty solid mix, I have only seen 1 Nurse in at least 50+ matches on PS4.

A newer player here and it's surprising that camping is an issue in this game. If a killers goal is to kill everyone and a group is dumb enough to get 4k through camping techniques how is that toxic? This game seems to have a whole bunch of unwritten rules and if you break them you get a ton of msgs from try hards about no skill even though they wiped.

Literally 50% of my games on PS4 end with me getting hate mail. Could be that I camped because I 4k or that I'm a scrub from not letting people get free saves. No matter how I play ill get hate mail on PS4.
Fun fact, if you get a written msg on PS4 with any kind of vulgar slur and report it they basically get a 3 day ban. Soooo I do a bunch of reporting. -
I'm a killer main who started playing after it dropped free and I just made it to rank 7 and I'm tempted to stop playing as the killer.
I have to deal with groups of 3+ SWF all chatting on party, loaded with instant heal kits and DS on everyone. Add in that I just had to play on the same map 4 times in a row and that all the high level game is boils down to is loops and it's not a good time for the killer. Being I don't have all the good perks unlocked and teachable I'm basically against fully loaded survivor groups with trash base perks. Not fun. -
I'm rocking Turtle Beach Elite 800s and I love them. It makes it seem like a whole new game. To be honest I only play with my headset simply because the sound is so much better.

If it's not a cheat or exploits I'm free to use it and I assume you will use everything available to beat me as well. I hate the fake "honor" system people have in place for gaming.

I've only played for about 40 hours or so on PS4, killer mainly, and it seems the SWF and lobby swapping are primarily a PC issue. Or should I expect more of this as I dip into the better ranks 10 and below?
