  • This was explained, in great detail. The notes released by Behavior explained it multiple times in a very clear manner that wasn't really confusing at all.

There were also multiple posts by forum members and other players and multiple outlets breaking it down in great detail. People even created spreadsheets for players to use to understand when to prestige and when not to prestige.

Lack of knowledge when that knowledge has been made readily available multiple times is not the fault of the devs.

  • I also opened a report for the issue, if you're having the same one feel free to comment on their with your situation and pictures of you can. 🙂

  • Mine showed for survivor but also didn't actually provide a bonus. Probably bugged right now

  • It's displaying currently. If doctor is level 50 it means you got the teachable, which means you have it at tier 1, but never purchased it through the shrine so it's still 4k shards. The reduction is only for purchasing it previously through the shrine.

  • You only get the cosmetics after the transition if you already had them. Otherwise they've been moved to prestige 4-6

Devs also said they'd never do clowns or non-human killers. But we have The Dredge and The Clown.

Yeah dredge isn't really human like. More blobby with aspects of.... Horse 😂

I agree, more actions should be connected to the Survival category, in a way that is more naturally tied to the flow of the game, as it always feels like an impossible category to max out.

This is how I imagine mods feeling on this forum everyday 😂

  • Having all of the perks finally. Been grinding for a couple of years now, and it's nice to see that time investment becoming worth it.

I'm not too worried about the low rarity of addons thing. I typically stick to brown/yellow addons anyways, and there's a lot of killers who's best addons are the brown and yellow ones. Plus cakes/puddings are yellow rarity.

There's a few that have rarer addons that I enjoy, but those are mainly meme ones like scratched mirror Myers or pinky finger clown. I don't play meme builds that often though anyways so I'm not too concerned. I'd much rather have all perks and grind for addons anyways.

i grinded the event for flan is it still worth it i have around 40 on each killer

If your plan is to get all perks then yes. Because otherwise you'll have to prestige each of those characters at least 2 more times, which will cost more than the bonus from the flans are worth. Especially since bbq won't grant bonus BP any longer.

You can always farm for addons later. I'd rather all perks over saving addons and offerings

  • Scratched mirror Myers, same stealth build I've always ran lol

Only if we get a Nurse cosmetic where she's a ghost, but it's a bedsheet ghost. No holes cut out in the sheet, but a large sheet draped over her.

I actually had a similar idea last night which is what started the idea but forgot all about it lol would definitely need a Boo nurse skin

  • Trapper, but it's the Samination version because I can actually do the voice. So anytime I play as him it's exactly how I think that one would play.

Also doctor. I get malicious when I play doctor. It's the only time I hit someone while they're on hook because I like hearing their sounds of pain as I laugh. Plus blood sound go "pfft"

    This, a thousand times over.

Whatever aim-assist (or whatever one wants to call it) that's programmed into this game is hot garbage. Nothing is more frustrating than taking a swing at someone right in the middle of your screen in front of you and seeing your weapon getting yanked into some inanimate object.

The game truly thinks I hate random piles of junk, walls, pallets, and the like.

    Agreed.

Also, something nobody ever talks about but is a huge issue... How is there all this moonlight on these maps but no moon??!

You have an entity that can create entire realms based on the thoughts in people's minds, but draws the line at a ######### moon? Like that's it's main weakness is it can't create 2D circles? Lol

Can we at least get Mr X tyrant skin.

    I'd like that too.

A legendary Mr X skin for nemesis

    Wesker as a new killer

    RPD rework

    Aida legendary skin for Jill.

    Boom, DLC genius lol

I don’t know any other game that gatekeeps prestiging - or forces it. It’s always been that you reach a certain level, then on you can go - if you want.

Most other games also don't allow you to keep everything when prestiging. I think the name of the system should be changed from being called prestige as it simply causes too much confusion at this point, especially since its a lot less of a prestige system now. But that's just my opinion.

While I do agree that I don't see much point in a tax, I'd rather wait and see how everything functions for a while after the changes. 50k was definitely too much, 20k is a bit more reasonable.

The reason I say wait and see is because with the new changes, there will be a lot of players that didn't have all the perks unlocked on every character, but will now have everything unlocked after the update. And with them working on bloodwebs and addon Rarities in future updates, it might make it to where there's almost no grind or sense of progression for a lot of players.

While I'm all for that because I just want all my stuff to play how I want, a lot of players want/need that grind and sense of progression. This tax may create an easier way to regulate that balance between reducing the grind for those who don't like it, and still having a sense of progression for those who want it.

People are also under the assumption that rewards are just going to stop after prestige 9, which I don't believe is the case. I think they simply haven't decided on what they want as rewards for later levels/haven't created them yet.

Having those rewards later adds to the sense of progression and then the tax would make complete sense. Because then you're earning something, you're not just given free stuff.

People tend to treat things differently when they have to pay for it vs when they get something for free.

  • Yeah having a single perk that completely multiple killers powers is just a horribly unhealthy idea that would be run in every build for that reason. All of these are things Behavior would probably want to stay away from at this point.

  • This is exactly what would happen. It would go from DBD to being ass slapping sim 3000 lol

  • @Megmain80 said:

they listen to the feedback, but they choose to ignore survivor mains. Given that the next patch is a huge killer buff…

Maybe because they're balancing for both sides and not just one? Lol and since one side is performing below what is intended, it's not hard to understand that side is getting more buffs than the other. They also completely gutted a lot of killer perks, just like survivors. Survivors also got a few buffs as well that just get ignored to fit ones own narrative.

Overall this patch is a healthy change for the game on both sides, and shows that they are actually listening.

Does it solve every single issue? No. But there's a limited amount of stuff they can roll out at one time. It's definitely in a step in the right direction though as it's a non-stop continuous effort to improve and balance live pvp games.

  • Lady Dimitrescu would never happen. The amount of players that spent hours just following her around with a fly swatter was a lottttt.

Now imagine that in DBD with this community lol

  • In the words of Behavior, have you tried civilization? Lol

But in all seriousness now, I typically switch between DBD and The Evil Dead. Similar but enough differences to not be the same old repetitive feeling

  • I would say it's worth it. Do you like and enjoy the skin? Then it's worth it and providing value.

Buying Skins is also a great way to show continued support for the game. If you for the most part enjoy playing the game and plan to keep playing for a while, it's always worth it to invest a little bit of extra money on skins and DLC to help support the game and watch it continue to grow. 🙂

  • While I do agree that survivor could use a bit of love in the points earned in a match category, they also have a lot more things tied into the way they earn points.

With killer, a lot of the points you earn are obtained simply by playing normally. Using your power, finding and chasing survivors, and hitting them all earn points and all can be done by playing normally. The only one really tied to how well you're doing is the sacrifice category.

While survivor is quite a bit different. Yeah you powered all 5 gens and the killer only got one hook, may seem like a perfect game but is actually removing the needed interactions to earn points in other categories.

The game is designed around the assumption that you're going to be doing multiple different things in a match. Cleansing multiple totems, getting in multiple chases, escaping chases, multiple heals and unhooks, doing stuff within the killer's terror radius, and opening exit Gates.

The problem is most survivors only worry about completing gens as fast as possible, and running away if the killer finds them. But if you power the gates to quickly and escape, yeah you're going to have very little points as the game believes you only really did 1 thing which was generators. Even if you did all 5 solo.

If all survivors played each match in the way the game was designed score wise, matches would be longer and they'd have more BP post match. However most survivors are about playing effeciently. I.e. get all generators on and escape as quickly as possible.

  • I doubt there will be much of a difference in playerbase tbh.

Yeah there's a few people who will probably leave because they think solos or survivor in general will be worse. But these are generally also the ones that heavily relied on the meta every single match to carry them through and they don't want to adapt or develop the skills necessary to be decent without them. And/or they think that camping is going to get worse, also generally the ones that think camping and tunneling happen every single game.

When in actuality, genuine and intentional camping really only happen in maybe 1 out of 10 matches. There's maybe 10% if not less of my survivors matches where I actually feel like the killer was playing unfairly or intentionally camping or tunneling.

90% of the time frustrations come with from my teammates, and are usually due to poor macro knowledge or knowledge of the game in general.

I think the few that do leave will probably be offset by the returning players. But most survivors probably won't leave, because the reason why they play the game is still there.

I do agree though that they shouldn't have waited years to mix up the meta. Hopefully going forward it'll be much more consistent with meta changes coming every 6 months to a year like a lot of games do.

Not necessarily. For killer players, chasing survivors through loop after loop, pallet after pallet isn't fun. It's tedious and annoying. Don't get me wrong, I don't really see any appeal in camping myself, even being a killer main, but chases that last too long are boring, and hurt killers more than anything. If one chase lasts too long, say goodbye to 3 generators. Looping is obnoxious, just like camping is, and both hurt the killer's chances of winning.

I kinda have to agree. I rarely see anything genuinely camping and tunneling, maybe 1 in 10 survivors matches if that. It's definitely not happening as often as people say. It's kinda like how so many people think they're playing in high MMR matches, when only like 4% of the playerbase actually is lol

While I personally don't like camping or tunneling, there's certain instances where it's necessary. And because most maps have so many safe tiles that can be strung together easily, chases are longer than they used to be. There's not really mind game potential at most loops either because survivors can either see over the loop, or see your red stain through holes and cracks within the loops.

Right now trying to mind game at loops typically hurts you more than it helps, so the killer's left with only a few options. Commit to the chase and just break all pallets immediately until you get to an open area with no safe tiles, or leave the chase and hope the next person you find isn't at a safe tile. But as stated above, with more maps have more and more safe tiles this is less likely to happen.

So you end up having to commit to the chase and by the time you get through the many resources this survivor has to keep from going down, you've lost 2-3 gens.

What do you do at this point? You've got 1 hook and only 2 gens left. Do you leave that person to go start a chase with a perfectly healthy survivor that still has all of their resources? You could, but you'd probably end up with 4 escapes and 3-4 hooks. Happens all the time.

But in reality, the smarter play is to proxy camp the hooked survivor and the closest gen. That way you can intercept the survivor going for the save and apply pressure for them, and then tunnel the person off hook. Does it suck having to do that? Absolutely. But the alternative is the possibility listed above. Having 3 survivors left to work 1-2 gens is a lot easier to manage than 4 survivors.

It's just how it is right now. Right now survivors set the pace of the match and killers have to adapt to that pace and bank on survivors making a mistake. Sucks but that's how the game is designed

With the new endurance tweaks, where if you have the deep wound status you can't use it, will this just be another buff for Legion? Their frenzy gives survivors the deep wound status, which blocks you from using endurance to take a hit, wouldn't it make more sense to add a different status when you take an endurance hit, alongside deep wound, that blocks endurance while deep wound is active, if that makes sense? Otherwise, chases with Legion basically never have endurance plays.

I mean, yes it would indirectly buff them, however they'd still only really be maybe B tier if that, probably still C but just higher up. The bypass to endurance doesn't change their main problems.

You also have to think, their power won't put you into the dying state unless it's their 5th hit, which comes into play alot less than people think. So even if they hit you in frenzy while you have deep wounds it's not really going to do anything.

  • I actually liked immersed matches if I'm a stealth killer. Like if we're on equal footing, it's a really fun cat and mouse game

  • I had actually thought about a DBD movie. Takes place with the original survivors and killers. Maybe a few of the newer DBD ones like Haddie and or dredge, maybe trickster.

And it would be from like Dwight's or meg's point of view.

They would start around the campfire with no memory of how they got there. They could start by being chased by the trapper in the Macmillan realm, and they finally escaped him to find themselves at coldwin farm or gas haven. This continues on with survivors dying off one by one until it's just meg left.

The end would be her dying and everything goes black. Next thing you know she wakes up, at a campfire with no memory of how she got there.

  • While I agree that there shouldn't be a cap, mainly just on the grounds of why is it even a thing? Lol like it serves no purpose.

Me personally though I've never hit 1 million earned bp. I've always invested it almost immediately. Even when it's just end of the month bonuses. It gets spent immediately lol but that's my own personal thing and everyone is different

  • I'm sure they will. It probably won't be right this second though lol. I'm sure it came down to a priorities vs the limit that they have to make changes at a time. They probably felt the need to make these major changes first as they were the most wanted/needed. But they'll probably adjust these clashing perks in the next balance update.

So it'll probably look like this:

    This patch release

Then the resident evil 2 patch

And then a patch making adjustments to the clashing perks, as well as slight killer nerfs/buffs as needed. Nothing too crazy, but there will probably be a lot of slight adjustments.

Like the perk adjustments, and then probably the blight tech fix, maybe a few number changes for Sadako or dredge. Stuff like that.

thanks for the help bro, guess i will have to try on a kyf, but i swear that if the schock lasted the same as the icon in that match i would not have escaped lol.

I guess he should get a couple seconds more, might even need a faster shock travel speed, sometimes it feels kinda slow when you time it right but the shock hits milisseconds later

I do also feel that his base shock speed can feel to slow most times. Unfortunately his power is one of those very touchy ones when it comes to balancing. Because if it's too slow he's weak, but if it's too fast it shuts down all loops and makes him impossible to play against. It's definitely a thin line to walk in terms of balance.

But I would also like to see a video of it in a controlled setting to see it from both sides and judge from there.

  • I still play doctor pretty consistently and haven't noticed any bugs. On survivor side I can't really say for sure. But may be some latency between the doctor you faced and your own connection.

  • I don't like her face, but love the killer and the map, even if it is an unbalanced mess.

As far as her perk goes, right now no. But once it goes live with the update I'll probably use it sightly more when playing solos. At base it doesn't sound useful, but having knowledge of where your teammates are heading in solos can be amazing information, without having to be hooked to get that information.

Mainly because in solos, people are worried about their micro gameplay, the stuff that affects themselves, and not their macro gameplay, what affects the match as a whole.

The amount of times I see solos lose simply due to a 3 gen situation is a lot. So if I can see their scratch marks across the map heading to a certain area or generator, I know where I need to go next in order to compete gens in a way to where we're not being 3 gen'd. I'll also be able to see if they're running certain tiles so that I can keep it in the back of my mind that they're probably using the resources in that area. It won't be the greatest thing but I think it'll have unique uses

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3059986#Comment_3059986

You said in your last post that if they were still viable ppl would still use them. So if they are nerfed to be not viable then they are useless. At least that is how I see it. Either way, I honestly don't care that much I just don't agree with this way of balancing. To me, all perks no matter what they are should be viable and offer some usefulness. The nerf to meta perks kinda goes against this since they are making them more or less not viable so why then why should they exist?

I think you're confusing viability and meta. Are these perks going to be the meta? No. Are they going to still be viable? Absolutely. They each still have their uses, they're just more of niche and specialized uses rather than catch all perks that can be used in every match.

The difference between the average and the meta currently was so massive that nothing outside of completely broken perks was touching it. So yes, they had to be nerfed in a way that doesn't place them higher than every other perk. Otherwise nobody would stop using them for other things. Now they're still viable, but in certain builds or situations other perks might be better.

But everyone is under the assumption that because something got 'nerfed' that it means it's completely useless. When many of the perks that were nerfed had just been over performing for a long time, so much so that they were ran in every build in every match, and needed to be changed.

Take a game like league of legends. You can practice a certain champ and be really good with them, and win just as consistently as you would a "meta" champ. The difference where the meta comes into play is in high and pro levels of play. Because they're all extremely skilled at the game and are mostly on the same levels skill wise, so they have to take every advantage they can over their opponent. But that's all they are, small advantages. They just increase the chance of winning slightly when skill is on pretty even ground.

DBD is a lot of the same way. I can take a trapper or a clown, or a survivor with no perks or addons and still have the possibility of 4king or escaping. Perks just increase the chance of achieving that end goal. But all killers and builds can be viable.

But the problem is that the meta was so strong that it was removing a lot of the skill aspect, and should've been changed a long time ago. Hopefully we'll start seeing more changes like this that shake up the meta more consistently to where people don't grow too attached to the one build for too long.

  • While there's many different realms, I do believe they still only cycle through a handful each day. I don't know the exact count.

So it'll be a pool of realms and you cycle through those that day and it's random which one you get. So the possibility of getting yamoaka maps 3-4 times one day, then getting 2-3 game maps the next isn't unheard of

  • I agree he's one of my favorites just due to his aesthetic. I don't care how strong or weak he is, he looks horrific which is fantastic, and all of his little sounds and passive screams just add to that horror aspect in a way that no other killer does.

I wish more killers had built in things like that with passive screams or cries of pain, or maybe just the maps having more character like that. It'd be nice to bring it back to it's horror roots

  • You need at least 1 level of prestige to get 2 bonus levels of prestige.

So prior to patch would look like this:

    0=0

    1=3

    2=6

    3=9

You get two additional prestige levels for every prestige you are prior to the update.

If they're level 50 but not prestiged you would just get the bonuses of perks. So 71+ = prestige 1.

Its I believe it's 190? Ish perks you need to go from prestige 0 to prestige 3 on perks alone.

So if you want all perks on all killers you'd either need that amount of perks on each one, or at least prestige them all once

    Edited for correct information

  • I don't mind them having downsides. But as stated above they need to make sense.

Take autodidact, it's a prime example. The good doesn't outweigh the bad enough to be worth using, so people don't. Dying light is another one but for different reasons. Most of the time isn't worth it over other things. There's a bunch of perks that does what it does, but better and they don't have downsides.

It just has to make sense. I like and don't like the one for botany knowledge. As others have stated, gameplay wise it makes sense. Thematically it makes no sense lol

  • I'd rather them tie more cosmetics to the prestige system. As that shows your devotion more towards a single character rather than just the entity/game as a whole. It would also create unique rewards to make prestiging more engaging.

However I would like to see slight increases for devotion. Maybe like a 1% increase to BP in addition to the increase in shards.

It would reward you more for playing more. It would add additional ways to reduce the grind more that players actually have more control over, without making additional BP to crazy to get as it would take a while to even get to 25% bonus. This would also be easily managed and could be tweaked as needed.

The other idea I had kinda worked with another previous ideas the community has had.

A ritual alter where you could sacrifice your unwanted addons and offerings to the entity for BP. Your devotion level could be used to determine how many offerings you can sacrifice per day, and how much you get as a reward for those offerings.

You could also make it to where its like a roulette thing. Where you offer up like 4 offerings or addons to get a random unique BP offering. And your devotion could increase your chances of getting better offerings.

There's a lot of things that could be done with devotion that could definitely be flushed out more. I don't think it's at the top of their list, but wouldn't be surprised to see something involving devotion in the distant future

  • The monetization in DBD really isn't that bad imo. It's a live game with consistent updates. Yeah it's $30 dollars for the base game. But even if they sold millions of copies, eventually all of that money would be gone without a consistent positive cash flow. That's where cash shops come in.

To keep the game live and up to date 24/7 365, there's overhead costs such as employee wages, worksites for the employees, server costs, equipment, maintenance, insurance and taxes ect.. the list goes on.

Just having base game sales would not be enough for this game to continue. Or any game for that matter. And if you make it even easier to get these things by just playing the game you reduce all need or want for players to spend any money at all. No money=no employees=no game.

Just the fact that you CAN earn stuff in game is a lot more than most other games. Even their DLC is only like $10-15. Heck a lot of games you have to pay $60 for the base game, plus $60 for each DLC, PLUS you still have to pay real money if you want any sort of cosmetics or extra stuff. Heck some even still have subscriptions on top of that. I play a lot of online games and 99% of their cash shop stuff, you can't get by just playing.

I have no problem spending more money on this game if it's value is greater than the money I'm spending. And right now it is. This game has given me years of enjoyment and playtime. I don't mind spending $15-30 more for months and possibly years more of enjoyment.

Now if they ever stopped producing meaningful content that added value to the game, that might change. But as it stands right now, I have no problem spending money to help keep this game alive as it's still a lot of fun for me and still adds value.

"while removing the feeling, "I HAVE to run this specific load out every game.""

Where did they do that when it comes to tunneling and camping?

By creating perks and buffs that not only help with camping and tunneling themselves, but also providing killer buffs that incentivize not camping and tunneling.

The amount of tunneling and camping that actually happens is a lot less than the amount that people say it's happening. Because it's easier to remember that 1 game where you got camped at 5 gens, than it is to recall the 9 other games where it didn't, because those matches were the norm.

By incentivizing playing in different ways, the killers that didn't want to but felt the need to camp and tunnel won't feel the need to add much.

Is this going to eliminate tunneling in camping? No. The ones who want to do it intentionally will always find a way. That's just the truth

The day you figure out a way to actually eliminate tunneling and camping, go ahead and give Activision and riot and all those other developers a call. Because I'm sure they'd like to have a word lol

No My Demo Puppy needs his head pats or he starts chewing on heads....Give him head pats now he's a good Demo Puppy!

It's easier to give head pats while on a hook cause you have more height. Thanks for coming to my TED talk

  • The simple fact of the matter is that in any online game, things do get nerfed and buffed continuously to keep things fresh. Yes there will always be a 'meta' where some things are just stronger than others. You can see this in EVERY online game. Call of duty, Halo, dota, league of legends, WOW, ect...

You'll always have balance changes that alter the meta to where things that were strong before, aren't strong afterwards. Heck I've played league for 12 years and have seen every kind of meta change possible lol.

The point is to make it to where more things feel viable, while removing the feeling, "I HAVE to run this specific load out every game."

    And they've definitely done that.

  • Meh lol

I think they're fine. The fact that they're giving any rewards actually says a lot, as a lot of games just don't.

There's tons of games, most in fact, where they'll make big changes like that and the only thing they give you is maybe a free character Respec, which is more annoying than helpful most times.

Not only are they creating free stuff, they're doing exactly what they said they would. It would be a personal reward for prestiging prior to the update, and would not be a skin or shards or anything like that. They stated that when they announced it lol

Heck most games you'd be lucky to get anything for playing thousands of hours.

Even stuff like call of duty. You play for thousands of hours and prestige multiple times and get what? A tiny little icon next to your name.

I think people should stop being greedy and just be appreciative that they're getting anything at all, when they aren't required to do any of it.

  • I really hope he actually participated in it lol would give him definite cool points.

Kinda like Patrick's quote for the anniversary loading screen.

I like that they can take a joke and not take it personally, but rather embrace it and make it their own thing. Not a lot of devs are like that.

I wouldn't go as far to say that we need a crapper skin lol funny in theory, wouldn't look great in practice though

  • I highly disagree. I'm totally everyone's friend and all survivors should come give me a hug 😈

  • I would say it depends on your desired goal. Have you invested BP into other killers? And do you want her perks on everyone else?

If you're planning to get her perks on everyone else, and/or have everyone else to to 50 even if you don't play them, it might be a good idea to prestige everyone once so that you have all the perks to tier 3 on her, as it'll be harder/take longer to do later.

However if you only care about her and don't ever want to play anyone else or care about other perks outside of what you already have, I'd say wait to prestige as stated above.

  • That is the absolutely worst way to balance a game lol they've even tried that in the past. It ended up with a bunch of broken perks on both sides and everyone hated it. They've tried buffing things in the past to be just as good as the meta, and it ended up being too strong and unfun for everyone to play against.

They actually did the right thing. They nerfed a few perks that were so strong nobody ran anything else, and brought them more in line with most other perks. Then they buffed some weaker perks that needed it to bring them up to the same level as some of the other perks.

Some of these changes indirectly buffed and nerfed other perks as well, which happens in every game where there's consistent balance changes, like how the change to pain resonance immediately nerfs the combo with DMS.

Now they can't change ALL perks in a single patch to make all of the weaker ones stronger. But nerfing the current meta was the absolute way to go. It was to the point where it was so strong that you had to make completely overpowered broken perks just to get people to use something else. If they only gave them slight nerfs then everyone would still continue to run the exact same 5-6 perks every game. I know because they've tried that before.

This was definitely the right way to go in order to balance things better in the future.

  • I agree for the most part.

I don't think iron will needs a change. They're looking into each survivors grunts of pain which was already needed. 75% has already been shown to still be quite effective. The exhaustion change is the one thing I actually like. Thematically it just makes sense. I've personally never seen someone take off in a sprint then start walking and hold their breath to the point where it makes 0 sounds. Not to mention you're bleeding and injured while all of this is happening. Just doesn't make sense lol

Decisive strike I can agree with kinda. Not the nerfing part. It had to be nerfed to bring lower it in the meta. But I do agree with make the stun start from the point at which you can start moving.

But that kinda goes into other perks too like lethal pursuer. A good portion of the time is consumed while you're loading into the match. That should also start from the point at which you can start moving.

They're only reducing the grind if you want every perk. If you don't care about unlocking every perk in the game, it's an Increase in grind

I know, and I'm a firm believer that it doesn't help those that are new to the game or that are in the group of players that's only worried about a handful of perks.

I do understand however that it's a fine line trying to make it perfect to where it benefits everyone equally. Because we're not all in equal places at the start and don't all have the same end goals in mind. However, I do think they're heads in the right place and they're trying to move in the right direction.. just at their own pace lol.

Hopefully there will be more changes in the future that help those mentioned above.
