I know it sounds absurd, but that's why I clip those hits so much because it happens to me constantly. It's really weird, but there are actually a few frames I can see where my survivor model actually sort of...goes backwards a bit? Or like freezes in place before moving forward? It's extra obvious using Lithe or a vault build.
I'm EST in the US.
I play in EU. Curious to hear from other EU survivors if they get these problems with the same frequency as you.
I'm putting my tin foil hat on.

I don't think we're arguing at all. I'm just discussing it with you. The links I provided of people getting hit a block away from the window are things that happen to me at least once per match, I'm not even joking. Are they the reason I lose every chase? Absolutely not. I totally ######### loops up sometimes just like anyone else, but there is at least 1 hit per game that lands when it shouldn't have.
It's just annoying having these servers turn me off from the game.
See that makes me wonder if different regions' servers differ much, like what region do you play in?
That's insane if you get those issues every match, my ratio of those is not even close to that.
-
Pink perks ;(
-
I play more killer, but I do play both. I'm rank 1 on both sides rn so I've put decent time into both this 'season'.
The reason I disagree is 'cause I haven't experienced the bullshit hits as survivor in nearly the same frequency as you've been saying. Like you say you are consistently losing games because of this? I don't believe you're lying at all, I just don't have the same experience.
The most common dedicated server problems I get as survivor have been DH being much less consistent than before, even with how little I use the perk (the amount of times you get exhausted on the ground without it triggering is way more than it used to be), and Huntress hatchets being really bullshit.
However I don't know why we're arguing this lol, we both want the same thing of devs bringing up these issues and wanting them addressed and improved.

I disagree with you, survivors are getting the worse end of the stick on most of these issues, and we only have limited time before the entity takes us.
Agree to disagree I s'pose.

These spots are used actively and intentionally, and can be found most of the time by looking at where the trap will be placed. Saying that people shouldn't be banned for this is like saying survivors who exploited the crotus prenn roof glitch shouldn't have been banned because it's just part of the map
That issue was an isolated problem on 1 map, that was easily fixable. And was fixed.
The trap issue is on just about every map in some capacity, and almost every patch creates more of them. The amount of players you're asking to ban for an almost unfixable problem is ridiculous.
-
No. It's been in the game literally forever, new maps/changes always make more of these spots, so the devs just patch them as they find them.
-
I don't really think dedicated servers are favouring either side right now, the amount of issues I've seen (and experienced) both sides having from them is quite ridiculous.
I totally agree with you though, that I hope the devs address how the servers are right now and what they feel about them, acknowledging a lot of the problems that have been caused by them and what they plan to do with them next.
-
Yeah the big altruism obsession buff doesn't translate to the new reworked version.

Did you read my reply? It wasn't a buff. Increased speed is nice but doesn't help much. Read my previous reply where I go into specifics.
Add on changes won't fix what is wrong with Legion and their power
Not even talking about how good/bad Legion is, increasing speed and vault speed is a buff lol. By all definitions that is what it is.
Just like the decreased mending time is a nerf.
-
Infectious Fright. That's the important one.
Then whatever else you want.
-
That's on the very edge of the map, is it not?
-
Yeah idk, people like to label anything they don't like to face as toxic sometimes. I feel the same about 'gen rushing', unless people really are bringing everything they can (best toolboxes, BNPs, Prove Thyself) then I don't see this as a thing.
With looping the only way I can see this as toxic is if someone does nothing but stick to a safe window the entire game, but if we're being real is even this toxic? I don't think so, just obnoxious to face.
-
Oni will probably be tweaked a bit from PTB, Apart from that, who knows.
Only time will tell.

I don't understand it either.
I think annoying is the more accurate word. Constant max volume heartbeat, screaming periodically (that can interrupt your vault), spark static effects all over your screen, skillchecks in random places, constant red stain on your back, and the odd hostage Doc strat.
These are the kind of things that make him annoying, not strong. Like someone else said they probably want to tone this down, and buff his actual strength.

Not saying you're wrong, but i don't remember that being a thing at all.
I think it might have actually been a thing during the Victory Cube, where it showed the survivor face in each circle that filled up.
Either way I like your idea :P
-
Poor Claudette looks so scared in this one.
-
Ya, exactly what I've been thinking.
At base it's too high, and with both CD addons it literally becomes half (15 seconds) which is insane that his addons change him THAT much. Buff base, nerf addons.
-
I don't really see anyone asking for Billy nerfs.
The only legitimate nerf I can ever see for him is nerfing charge speed addons. Thassit.

Because they said that they would make him less frustrating to play against and that means cooldowns like the legion and the nurse updates. Also, they said that they WILL NOT buff him. They made it really clear.
Where/when did they say all of this? I'm curious to see it.
-
Why do people think Doctor's getting nerfed.
-
It's the taking part that counts.

Myers is an excellent killer. In my opinion, he's basically what every killer should be.
Fun to play both as and against. Cool, unique, interactive power. Solid A-tier, powerful without being overpowered. Barely anyone ever complains about him on either side, and he hasn't needed to be changed at all since his release.
...apart from multi-stalk :P

I love versing Demogorgon too. His lunge is so scary and you have to respect it. Demogorgon chases are always fun and intense. Oh, yeah and the music. I absolutely love the chase music.
Ooooh yeah good shout, forgot to mention his dope chase music/terror radius.
-
Maybe because it's very new to me, but I've loved almost all of my matches vs Demogorgon so far. I love the back and forth in chases with him (both as and against him).
-
He's good, not top 3 good though. Not at all.
Also stalking's not a waste of time, completely disagree with that opinion that's been spreading.
-
Never.
-
Actually I like that idea, having his stomps be much quieter (maybe not silent) during his undetectable status. That'd be a neat buff I'd be down for.
-
Yeeeeeah about that, Nurse and Huntress are also shown to have some of the worst killrates - and why? Because they take some of the most skill to play very well.
Personally I think Demo is harder to play than people give him credit for, the amount of mindgames on both sides for his Shred is nuts. You REALLY have to know when to use it, when to fake it, and around certain loops you have to make these decisions incredibly fast.
I think he's a good killer that people are bad with.
-
Not super fond of these changes, I don't think he needs much.
Personally I'd just like it if lots more of his addons were focused around Shred, without them being too oppressive (no insta charge kind of stuff). I like Demo a lot but he possibly has the most boring addons of anyone.
-
Pretty much my only gripe with it is that survivors are invincible if they jump into a locker with it.
It's fine if I can slug them, but just being completely invincible sucks.

-
You just look like the kinda guy that would appreciate a good map.
-
Yes, thank you. I've also been noticing it more recently, which leads me to believe it has to do with dedicated servers. Like I'm pretty sure it's an established fact that dedicated servers made survivor movement much more snappy and quick, which is fine, but I'm quite certain it's ######### with the hit detection.
Updating the hit detection could also fix Billy's phantom saws.

I think if the devs granted Legion a speed boost after hitting the first survivor with feral frenzy, shortened his power gauge cool down, and removed the penalty for missing hits he would be in a pretty good spot.
They could also implement a feature where his power gauge recharges super fast if he doesn't hit anyone. This would give Legion really nice map pressure.
I actually like the idea of a speed boost after hitting someone with Frenzy, especially if it was for every survivor you hit so it emphasises chaining them. Nothing crazy just a small percentage per Frenzy hit.
Against survivors that know what to do vs Legion there's really not a whole lot of incentive to spread Deep Wounds around - running away in a straight line is amazingly effective.

I made it to rank 1 this season with Legion, but I'm not so sure how impactful those changes will be.
One issue with Legion that irks me is not being able to hit multiple survivors with feral frenzy. Sometimes they are just out of reach.
Not to mention you still lose your power if you miss a stab lol.
Legion needs a number of additional changes imo.
I think they're pretty damn impactful. Like I'm not under any illusion he's suddenly gonna SHOOT up the tier list or anything, but permanent +5% ms in Frenzy and like half a second shaved off of pallet vaults I think goes a long way to helping his Frenzy be way more smooth and efficient at spreading the love.
However ya he still needs some work, stuff like losing half your power from hitting someone seems like an odd restriction at this point, and why they are reducing Mend time I have no idea.
I never minded the downside of getting stunned out of your power whilst missing too much, apart from when auto aim decides 'nah ######### you'.

Auto aim on PC has messed me up with Legion FF attacks SO MUCH. Please at least make it a toggle.
I can completely relate man, I sure do love it when the attack that is INCREDIBLY PUNISHING TO MISS auto aims onto air and cuts your lunge short behind a survivor. Very fun when that happens.
But again, this is a fault with the base mechanic of how the game detects and grants hits. The devs have been asked about this specific topic to which they always say 'actually it's not autoaim, it's our hit detection cone' like ok.

Pros:
Legion feels somewhat faster, and it’s SOMEWHAT easier to catch up to some Survivors. Not a huge change though.
New buttons are...Ok? They’re not what people had requested but this is BHVR, so.
Cons:
Legion lost all capabilities of being able to stall the game now that they can no longer apply effects without the usage of their buttons, which only works on the other 3 Survivors who you didn’t hit first. So if they’re not in the area, you’re S.O.L.
Nerf buffed Borrowed Time for a third time in a row, because Borrowed Time needed another buff from Legion’s nerf, right? That seems like good balancing and totally not biased at all! Especially when it’s the THIRD TIME. All of this because a developer actually thought 20 seconds was ‘ridiculous’, so now Legion gets even more punished for using their ability.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/449/QGWVJ3B5UC8Y.jpeg
New vault speed doesn’t make up for the nerfs, especially if you consider the fact that Bamboozle was ‘bugged’ and actually worked on pallets when the devs stated it didn’t, even though it did, because I tested it, along with other various Legion players, so the change was somewhat unneeded. Bonus points if Bamboozle still works on this, which would be a somewhat of a small buff, but there’s no point to using your ability when the devs designed it to punish you for doing your job now.
Rating: 2/10, too many cons, STILL, and very little pros.
Please just listen to your community, BHVR.
I defend most of the Legion changes because I think they're reasonable, but the mend one is not defendable lol. Imagine wanting to buff Borrowed Time and nerf Legion in 1 change...
The reasoning being 'oh mend times with double Blade addons is stupid' SO NERF THE BLADES. Like c'man, this logic makes no sense.
-
Only time will tell, but I imagine a couple of small nerfs.
-
People in lockers are immune to aura reading, Killer Instinct doesn't show auras.

How are those relevant against BT? I proc BT as a Pig and I crouch so the mending timer goes down. Then what does the Survivor do to avoid going down to Deep Wound? Same goes for Wraith (moreso because he has a speed boost while cloaked).
'Cause it's not all about the mend bar, you can also stop it triggering entirely.
