We would need more informarion like what other killers/perks do you have. But i would say from what i can see.
Make you choice is not goot on those killers, is mostly usefull on killers thst can teleport back, demogorgon, dredge, hag nurse.
For hubris someone thst can catch fast with an M1 or have antiloop, not legion or trickster.
--------
Now i see only 4 pages of perks so i assume there are not s lot of perks to work.
I would pick for trickster.
If you like starstruck add agitation you have a bigger terror radious to apply it and helps hooking. I see infectious fright i guess you have plague? Then also add corrupt intervention, awesome perk.
Agitation, Starstruck,Iron maiden,Corrput intervention/No where to hide.
Also would be fine
Sloopy butcher(try land some M1), Nurses calling, No where to hide, Fearmonger.
For legion
Fearmonger, Jolt, Enduring, No where to hide.
Also for some ideas, otzdarva have a page with builds for killers.
Otzdarva.com

There is new toys to play and PHead addons needs to be reworked to add more flavour and ways to play.
PHead is the same since its here. Well now the egg last 3 seconds (impresive).

Would be pointless because survivor would just vault it back when they saw her go through it.
Not that pointless, you can choose to wich side of the pallet they are going to jump, the side that face to a jungle gym or the face that face a wall, also ignore a pallet and a survivor textures (Already ignore survivors) to chase another as a a demanifested ghost.
At least in my head sounds cool and with flavour.
And of course this is not intended to cross and easy hit, more like an extra tool to cross a pallet, blink a little, fake a manifest and mindgame. Also some tweaks to the nerf that is almost here.
-
No yet, i guess devs were surprised that people thinks (with reason) that Sadako is nerfed and they are working on it?
Also i think it will be cool if demanifested sadako can cross pallets. It could have a fun standoff like wraith. Cant manifest while in a pallet of course.

My point is more time in the early game, setting up traps and such. If you are a no trap m1 killer, then yes I concede this could be a nerf, but with theoretically more time for chasing you could kill off a survivor easier.
Undoubtedly the survivors will do gens faster, but the point is you kill survivors, to get them "stuck" on a 105 second gen, or a standard 90 second gen.
You dont have more time in early game, its more like "an ilusion", you dont hear those gens at the start but they are going to be finished at the same time.
If you like to play set up killers corrupt intervention.
If you like trapper and try to make it work, god bless you.
Now for real, this game is not about ""i need 2,4 hooks/gen so we are tied"". Is more about you have X minutes to snowball and win. Survs can have al gens finished you hook one, another makes a mistake and suddenly they are in a bad spot. If you want set up killers, its normal to lose 2-3 gens before even start, but then you should have all setted down and snowball

So as of right now, generators take 90 charges/90 seconds to complete.
M1/non-movement killers can get slaughtered if their first chase takes forever. So to counteract this I propose that the first generator takes 120 charges, the second 105, then 90, then 75, then 60.
Whenever a generator is completed, the 15 charges will be subtracted from the total amount of charges needed AND the total amount of work done on the generator. This is to prevent a chain reaction of other generators close to being complete from popping without someone on the gen.
I believe this would help balance the game for m1 Killers, because I played survivor and I have seen a metric butt ton of movement killers. And some variety would be nice.
EDIT: Okay on second thought, I think this MAY be a bad idea because of perks like fast track, stake out, etc... But I think good discussion will come out of this so I'll leave it up.
I would say this is a nerf to M1 killers.
Yes you have more time in early.
But in late when are less gens and probably closer, survs can finish those faster.
That means that m1 killers that have little to no movement skills have to walk further in early game to see all gens (bad) and had no time in late (bad).
While top killers dont really care.
-
Overall right now is a decent spot. But 2 things.
Map desing is awfull. Pretty but houses and window into window into pallet into window is a little absurd.
Gens fly. In my average match, first gen is done in first 40ish seconds of game (if not less) and second close after.
But i think if map where less awfull gen speed would not be that noticiable. (May be im wrong).
Glad to see devs working on older/weaker killers, Ghostface had a buff not so far ago, Sadako changes are comming (hope they change a lot because looks like a nerf) and some old perks are also getting some love (not hangs man trick wich is nerfed btw).

I know his zombies aren't the main part of his power, but i was curious if there's any reason this still works, especially due to the fact that we have been moving away from items effecting killers powers for a while.
I ""guess"" one of these 2.
1º Nemis "power" is the wip wich is unnafected by flashlights, and zombies are an extra passive.
2º They forgor.
I would bet for option 2.
-
Good direction bad performance.
I think they want a more balanced killer with less slugging and condemm only builds.
But the "pros" arent worth the amount of "nerfs".
"Holding a tape is a risk and strategic desicion", who thought this? In wich world picking and holding a cursed tape protects you from killers power?.
Even if you tunnel 1 guy with a tape out, thats 6 stacks so it will die before condemm kill.
Other survivors getting 1 stack when someone is hook means sadako needs to hook 7 times a tape holding survivors BEFORE someone just put that tape in any TV and btw turning off a TV for an insane amount of time while survivors wasting almost no time. At least pigs traps makes survivors waste time arond the map.
And of course revert addon nerf and buff other addons.
Also i would give sadako the capability of crossing pallets while demanifested in addition to that antistun. In order to hit she needs to demanifest first, somewhat like Wraiths standoff in pallets (i kinda like that interaction).
Overall, dont know how BHVR managed to nerf sadako and hangsmantrick(just as a comment).
-
Blight Knight can be cool.
-
A relic of past dbd.
Would need an overall upgrade. Visual, sounds, addons etc..

Then she just comes back..
Unless you mean just to stay on the gen until she grabs you off and drops you or hooks
Of course she come back and kick that gen, then cahse for a little and leave to defend another gen.
That gen advanced like 1% in total between gen progression, kick, destroy drone etc...
Its "beatable" but not fun and slow as hell. And literally its faster disconect wait 5 minutes and find another match.
-
Knight have no fault of beeing between Wesker (a cool killer) so it looks worst and skull merchant(an awfull killer) because those 2 are area deniers "are on the same bag". Not even close.
(Also map of the realm basekit is needed).
-
I would suggest something like.
Hexes now have active efects and lingering effects after destroyed. Lingering one are weaker of course.
Examples.
Devouer hope:
Always: 10 seconds after hooking a survivor you gain a speed buff.
While hex is active: Current token effect.
Huntress lullaby.
Always: Miss skillcheks regress 6% more.
While hex is active: Current token effect.
Yeah a lot of hexes should be reworked by this way.
Also, allow killers to "hex a totem" to reactivate effects could be nice, like survivors with boons.
-
While boring as hell, hostage is not the term.
Nothing stops you to go to the gen, destroy a drone and play.
Hostage is mostly you are in a corner the killer bodyblock you and doesnt move, you are trapped and can do nothing.
But yes, is awfull desing, bhvr said they will work on it on previous AmA.
-
Invisible + speed is good enougth.
Also Wraith have really good addons.
Now he cant be burned/stunned by flashlights.
I would rather buff Wraith perks, those are really bad.
-
Ranks and mmr are 2 different things.
Monthly ranks are only for monthly rewards, and thats it literally no more.
MMR is hiden and is what determine your opponents. This does not reset. You gain 1 on kill lose 1 on scape. Survivors gain 1 on scape and lose 1 when killed.
-
Yes.
Nemi needs an addon pass.
8 seconds (10 with letal) for a whip hit its a very good efect.
-
While im all ears is better on PHead and i could say range killers.
Thwack could be cool for killers like Billy, Bubba, Demo, Nemesis and addon Legion,Wesker.
Those killers that can easily destroy pallets could use some help in chase.
Also M1 killers with brutal strength and Twhack to have some early combo.
Overall i would like ot more with 40 sec cd like im all ears.
-
I would give "Thwak", "Im all ears" conditions.
Every 40 seconds you have this perk.
-
Instead i would preffer change and buff old perks. There is like 80% of perks that can be reworked, buffed or with added effects.
Like Coulrophobia now have faster skill checks.
This idea on a lot of perks.
But yeah a few common perks would be nice.
Like rookie spirit from Leon as base perk.
-
Knight, Nemesis, Dredge, Wesker ,Demogorgon and Ghostface but this one need more focus.
I could play others but these are my go to.
-
Shrine should have a rework and work better overall, 2 perks on each side when there are over 100 is insane.
-
Yes, really burnout, buyed a few characters that where cheaper and rise those to at least lvl 1 + all event cosmetics.
Now i want to forget this game for months TBH.
-
The best Dredge could have is better map design by spreading some lockers around the map.
Not only dredge, Huntress, Trickster and survivors with locker perks.
-
RUN!, Run now that you can.
-
@KolbyKolbyKolby said:
Coutner gen rushing by kill rushing. Get downs faster than they get gens done and snowball your pressure.
Mostly this, you are probably going to get flammed, but you are going to be a lot of times anyways.
Focus on 2 survs and forget the other 2.

Brian's Intestine + Mikhail's Eye = SPEED Zombies.
Making the Zombies' average movement speed be 60% more is unexpectedly effective.
I tried this for 3 matches and my zombies were able to hit so many survivors. I guess it is because Survivors aren't used to Zombies moving so fast and doesn't expect it, resulting in a lot of zombie hits at the start of the game.
It also helps with chases as zombies close in on survivors faster.
I have a blast with them. may not be good, but it is funny.
Those are my favourites to use, i also add discordance and call of brine , those perks alert zombies to gens and give me a LOT of time and information.

It's been some time since the release of the chapter, with the mid chapter coming soon. I've given myself some time to familiarize myself with the Singularity but I still see quite a lot of glaring issues with it.
My main issue is that It wasn't programmed to harm the crew. It was supposed to help them build a safer home. But... something happened. It became self-aware. It has no empathy. It doesn't feel pain. It learns at an impossible rate, and it won't stop until they are dead... or worse.

Now tell me how i'm supposed to do anything ? I would like an answer from the lead game designer, that he explains me how i'm supposed to have fun in those games ?
Of course it was an SWF, 4 gens done in less than 5 minutes.
Pretty much sure ppl will say skill issue :)
I have the same situacion for weeks, unwinable.
-
Looks dangerous for us tbh.
-
To me.
Strong main building.
A lot of loop zones.
A lot of "visual noise".
Big map.
-
Until Alien or Spider killer are in game.
1 Knight
2 Nemesis
3 Dredge
-
Dredge during nightfall dont even have terror radious and you can teleport so survivors are going to be out of it of just in front of you.
Dredge is better with info perks, i like sloopy+ nurses combo.
To me is weird that Dredge have 2 terror radious perks :S
-
I like most changes.
But for Nemi (i love that killer) 3% haste looks a little too much, i would love an addon pass and that zombies give you charges if hit in addition to detect survivors infected if close, to make virus a little more dangerous.
-
I also like dredge a lot, but i could not say is close to S tier.
If BHVR put lockers in empty spaces of the map for Dredge,Trikster,Huntress ans whoever is next (aka better map desing) i could see Dredge as A and not less than B, really solid.
May be some addon little changes here and there could help. Both iris are not interesting or strong.

Starfield is on the way. Probably this game will take my all time whenever it out. Can't wait for another long break to DbD.
Ditto.
Im just rushing some points in this event for leveling and after that i will forget DBD for a while. Also with starfield of course.

I've found that Deerstalker works great with Twins' power, because you can down someone with babby and even if they crawl away or babby dies you know generally where they are and can pinpoint them with Deerstalker.
Likewise, Darkness Revealed is perfect for Huntress and Trickster, because they have to use lockers to fill their powers anyway.
Also Make Your Choice and Devour Hope work well for Hag, because she can set a trap at the hook, wait for a survivor to trigger the perk by unhooking, and then teleport to the hook and try to hit them.
What are some other examples you've found of perks that synergize particularly well with specific killer powers?
Make your choice + Devour also works with demo and dredge very well.
Nemesis with Discordance and Call of brine, both perks alert zombies.
Knight with Surveilance. Guards dont apply kick gens but Surveilance works on regressing gens no matter how. So they apply it and if you see that gen change colour you can send a guard flying very fast.
Dredge with darkness reveal. I mean you can see where lockers are if you dont see survivors you will know were are locker empty zones to look for.
-
I would say Rancor but a few seconds before gen is finished? Because of bug reasons?

We hope. There’s a very long list of other killers we were waiting on that never happened as well though. My personal disappointment was Knight, he has a lot of potential that just hasn’t been fixed yet.
I would love this soooooo much.
Base map of the realm and smoother sumoning are needed.
Tou know, you cant summon because there is tall grass here or you are not at 2 meters of this wall.
-
Ditto.
I like singularity concept a lot.
Its just feels bad to play.
So, shoot a meat ball, turn into meatball, photo survivor for infection, become robot, survivor cleanse the virus, repeat a 2° time and THEN you have chase power.
Or pick Demo and press M2.
Mi point is that Hux (robot) need a lot of work for not a lot of value.
-
Killer
1 Worst thanatophobia that literally helps survivors that have injured builds.
2 Worst lightborn in any case.
3 Not strong but at least can be somewhat usefull and fun to use.
Survivor
1 Mate you are joking soo hard, 15% speed? Thats madness. Even 5 % just for dropping a pallet and do 1 loop is insane.
2 Dafuc?
3 So just when exposed or chainsawed?
The only one i see reasonable but weak is the scourge hook.
-
@CrusaderNella said:
The trend has been done throughout the life cycle of DbD but it has become really REALLY egregious as of late.
The weakness I'm talking about is giving the survivors the ability to control the killer's power. At first, it came with killers like The Trapper, Plague or Hag. Where the survivors can take a bit of time to attempt to weaken the killer's power. But these usually came with a big risk, and a big reward of done right.
Then came killers such as Pinhead, Nemesis and Wesker, two of which sharing the Antidote Spray to allow survivors to stop the effects of their powers, and Pinhead whose power needs to be kept in check by finding the box before the Chain Hunt starts.
These are alright. They provide a good side objective for the survivors to weaken the killer. They are dangerous to perform, or takes a decent chunk of time away that you could have instead used to do gens or heal and such.
But then came the latest 3 killers. Arguably 3 of the most notorious killers in Dead By Daylight history. The Knight, The Skull Merchant and The Singularity, and it's with these three that my temper is rising like a souffle.
The Knight allows the survivor to cancel his attacking partner by claiming the Standard. Which is fine and all, if you can kite both the Knight and the Partner to reach it, you get to end it early right?
But then why the hell when you claim it does it give you Endurance and a Sprint Burst. Why? Why are they rewarded so heavily for Countering your power? Having it stop the chasing Partner should be enough.
In anycase, The Knight was just a small sign of things to come.
Next is the Skull Merchant, another Killer where BHVR gave the keys to her power to the survivors and completely botched it in the opposite manner. Having the only way to stop her cameras be to interact with them, made her one of the most notorious 3 Gen holder in the game. There is skill involved from the Skull Merchant. There is no clever time limits or design philosophies.
In the end, The Skull Merchant's gameplay loop is fundamentally flawed due to her reliance on the Survivor needing to stop the drone. Making it that there is no small way to fix her, they need to completely rework her from the ground up.
Lastly it is the Singularity, the killer with so much potential, but his ENTIRE gameplay loop is ruined because the survivor can LITERALLY turn his power off at the 2.5 second channel of a button. EMPs is one of the worst ways I have seen counterplay be implemented for a killer.
However, because of the Sigularity's high potential, any further nerfs to EMPs risk breaking him. He is so reliant on the off button that the survivors have to keep him in check that he is also a balancing nightmare, and because he is so weak against competent survivors, nobody bothers playing him.
And that ends my rant. Thank you very much for reading it if you made it here. And if a BHVR dev reads this. Please stop giving survivors literal off buttons to killer's powers to balance them. Make the power in and of itself be balanced without such an external factor
May be you should add Sadako to the list if you didint saw the incoming rework.
But looks like sigularity 2.0 to me.
Yes you have a power but survivors "needs to be strategic" (or something like that devs said) to counter Sadakos power.
-
One for each.
Killer - Confiscate
Survivor items cant be used for 5/10/15 seconds at the star of the match and after every unhook.
+ This like lethal for an early help preventing early BnP with some value during game.
Survivor - Combat medic
Med kits heal 15%/20%/25% faster and efficient when healing others.
+ I just like altruistic and support gameplay.
-
Dammm i thought it would have a rarity cap or something, thats insane.
-
I was prepared for some insane OP perks to sell the first survivor DLC.
But no just a few fun random perks.
Cant complain, Dramaturgy looks fun for gambling. And is usually better than bad. I mean exposed does nothing if you can do it in any place of the map at any time away from killer, and scream does nothing during chase but may alert the killer if you are far away, but running a little longer and a random item looks fine.
-
I think that devs are always too soft.
We are going to buff Sadako buf we need to add nerfs to balance. And yeah, ok but Sadako is in need of help you could go a little more strong with her.
Also, looks like Pig (not meme), now survivors will spend some time picking and tapes. But if all survivors cleanse (i think was4 right) condemned stacks in any tv, that time can be 5-10 seconds every game.
And now you have less power because now survivors WILL turn off some tvs, before was not needed.
At least all of this on paper of course.
Still see too high Cooldown on TVs and may be put tapes in a specific TV not just in any.
-
@UndeddJester said:
Might have some potential if you go with Agitation, Mad Grit and Pain Res. You can see if anyone is trying to body block or go to sabo your scourge hooks from a greater distance and get potential chances to save your scourge hook...
But yeah, likely to only be a meme build, never meta.
Thing is, you are going to see that bodyblock and sabo even without this perk.
Dont understand how bhvr balance this stuff is has merit tbh.
-
Yes you can put it in any i know, but when i played against sadako most people didnt even need to pick a tape.
Still, i want to see how it works.
-
I see more like Pig power.
Now with this power, survivors are going to be slowdown because they are going to be busy taking tapes and may be someone die because of it.
Just like pig you put the trap to slowdown and may be someone die.
I mean it cant be worst that it is now i would rather take the new thing and try.
