when all is back up and running…you might be pleasantly surprised 😃
did I successfully jinx myself by jumping the gun with my cynicism? oh, please don't play with my heart Mandy I think I'm gonna cry T_T
darn, now this is gonna be a long shift at the office for me! I've been literally dying for this moment. May Jim smile upon you

I wonder if bhvr is imploding because idk how their golden goose gets zero effort. this is what, the 3rd 2v8 weskers had a game breaking bug?

Hey DS, I don't want to be rude, but it's "achievement" not achiement.
that doenn't change how we undrstand the sentince, so it's kand of a pointlezs corection.
Now, if we are discussing helping Uncle Jack off the horse, then that is worth clarifying
-
I'm just gonna be the cynical jerk and say no...the AoT licensers hate us. we've never been allowed and never will be.
it bothers me to see the Scouts running as Scouts and I can't play along T_T
-
we had a solution with infinite smoke bombs RIP :(
-
I remember the last time, the wesker Legion duo just let everybody go. a couple of our mates were stalling it out. while they did that I begged Susie to stab me(took a while) but I managed to bleed out and get the whole lobby in on a slug race...I felt so bad for the 3 people trapped that I wanted to lessen the sting a little.
I can't believe it's still here....
-
I ended up discovering Mr Tatorhead because I got rolled by his Knight but I noticed he wasn't a sore winner by any means so I checked him out. seemed friendly. few months later I saw his 3 hour videos on my YouTube feed randomly and gave him some support.
-
this was the first thread I opened after making mine....welp. thanks T_T
-
ok but who else you want me to play as? nerf Legion all you want, I'm still playing them until I get killers i actually want.

This is why I am just not going to play this mode anymore.
I thought they learned from the misery last time but nope… so I am just not putting myself through this frustration again.
sucks for me because I don't care for most of the roster we do have. I'm basically stuck between Legion, Spirit and Crapper but being on comms Spirits a wash

not releasing new Killers was a crazy idea.
how did SPRINGTRAP not get in?

when you're having so much fun, you can't help but wonder where the time goes.

While it's obvious that doxxing and threats over a video game are way too far.
I genuinely believe anybody who is making a career off trying to make video games as miserable and unfun as possible should get the Tyler1 experience and be permanently banned until they can prove they'll stop.
I always mix them up; is it spooknjukes that's the toxic one, or was that spookyloops? I faced the toxic one I genuinely thought his face camping GF was a bot

The build sounds fun, but also like a chase build. And that's my absolute weakness, and one I want to avoid if possible.
For me, a stealth build would be better, with killer aura reading perks, so I can avoid the killer as much as possible and do gens.
I suggest it because it'd help the anxiety, I feel. it's putting you in your least comfortable position, but it gives you "safety in the eye of the storm". Object for sure will get you killed on its own, but when it doesn't it saves :P
from my experience playing these builds, some killers will respect it and refuse to chase
-
half the moris are buns though; who wants to watch pig, Billy, trapper or Wraith mori?
-
am I tripping? I suggested one of my favourite builds consisting of Scene Partner, Troubleshooter, Resilience and Object days ago but I don't see it here. maybe the build is too powerful to share O_o
-
remote hook could maybe work if it placed on the closest hook as an anti pallet choice but I wouldn't want the killer having any choice over hook placement. I feel that'd be stepping on Agitations toes for hooking people in nasty places
-
drac is the kind of top tier i can get used to. hes got a lot, but you can work with it.
-
why is OP being downvoted so much? do people actually just do the first gen they see, with no regards to 3 gen placement, or have any consideration for how spawn logic works/potential Lethal Pursuer?
-
decently strong killer, about where I'd put the benchmark for a good killer. fun to face, which helps. plenty of other weaker, boring killers id rather not face instead, like Wraith.
I think I don't see a lot of them because they don't like giving survivors The Hand
-
Eren Jeager. He was my most wanted survivor, so I can't be ungrateful I got anything, but man I want a legendary

@cogsturning said:
I would easily wait 10 minutes for some decent teammates. I spend more time than that in instantly hopeless matches.
I started in 2021 and that was just the normal night time survivor queue.
-
it's Nemesis that deserves the rocket launcher
-
eh, you could take a build to end games within 5 minutes yourself. for example, taking a hex perk will a curse a survivor with -16 seconds of gen progress
-
I remember one time coordinating an escape plan with a kid in F13 and met up but he bamboozled me it was actually Jason Vorhees :( i can't believe i fell for such a classic blunder
occasionally you'd be talking to somebody, then all of a sudden your convo gets interrupted abruptly as your friend screams and mic gets cut off by being killed.
the vc in Friday was annoying at times but it had its moments. I don't think it'd fit dbd but I've had some interesting encounters

This could be a nice chaotic mode, but honestly, we would just see more stacked builds because this community is the way it is.
yeah, plenty of people just pick "good stuff.exe" but man, just having that 5th perk slot would open up tons of new build angles for me, usually for hyper niche builds. something like a vault build, something with lucky break, or slapping on No Mither to an invocation build
I could get lost in a mode like that because build construction is half my enjoyment
-
built to lasters already face toxicity because ppl get upset immediately at the locker hop and feel the need to rat them out or repeatedly open the locker.

twd has no queue because it was never planned to be a map.(it wasn't on the roadmap)
I believe the map queue will be used for "real" levels.
I'm surprised the levels not boosted, though. I've genuinely only been there twice(it was terrible)
-
seeing as cheaters can bypass restrictions such as "console only" will having a bouncer guarding the lobby even help? I'm not familiar with the extent of what these ne'er-do-wells are capable of
-
I don't blame you. I was going to buy auric cells but now is not the right time. the way Chandler was talked down to kinda bothered me
-
I wish killers like xeno, ceno and springtrap were more popular those are killers who are a ton of fun for solo. xenomorph in particular :(
plz play xenomorph yall

You should know. The game doesn't reward Survivors as a team, so individual escapes are wins. With Killer, it's their equivalent of bagging at the gates (as well as bleeding out).
And I do miss hatch stand-offs. That was back when the game didn't come to a total standstill. As it is now, hatch literally is just what you said—a lucky draw or a consolation prize. It's not a mechanic that moves the trial forward when it bottlenecks anymore.
sure it does, otherwise survivors could make a sport of just hiding forever. hatch and EGC encourage survivors to move if they want to resolve a cooked match.
just because people attach their egos to a mechanic designed to close games doesn't mean it doesn't do what it's intended just because some people would camp hatch for 15 minutes because a survivor tbagged them one time.

as someone who never plays 2v8 what is those buffs?
Basically just haste when setting traps lol. very much a cheap bandaid fix and not what we should get at all, but it did give Trapper some mean zoning potential.
traps can act basically as "touch n go" pads for a quick burst of speed

I've been clamouring for, at the very least, a "Hope vs Despair" collection featuring the Legion, with Julie for once as the "leader". a chapter would be cool but I would settle for that

Speaking as someone who has 100% achievement completion in this game:
Any achievement which requires going to a specific map has immediately become a frontrunner for hardest to get with the map offering rework.
I wouldn't say Don't Open Dead Inside is the hardest, but it did take me weeks and over 30 map offerings to get it. Even then, I had to ask the killer for mercy, because I only got the map twice in all of those matches with map offerings.
I disagree with people saying that Evil Incarnate is the hardest. You can try Evil Incarnate as many times as you want, as long as you keep feeding Michael blood points to get the necessary offerings.
I would say the top two hardest achievements at the moment are Outbreak Breakout, which requires opening the exit gates in RPD and escaping TWENTY TIMES. Followed by Hand-Eye Coordination, which requires you to: A) Get Vecna as your killer, B) Find the Hand or Eye of Vecna, C) Escape with it.
The Vecna one is totally, completely out of your control. You could get lucky and get it without trying, or you could legit never get it if the RNG just never lines up for you.I feel bad for those that need the Vecna ones; i see a lot of people say that they go out of their way to make sure Vecna users escape the trial, but man I hate the Hand so much I make it my mission to ensure I retrieve it. The eye is cool, but if I see the hand I lock the heck in.

Meanwhile I get freddy map like every other game. They need to bring map offerings back or make every map separate offering so there is at least that 20% chance to get map you want/need. Now there is like 1% chance when garden of joy, freddy map and other variants are tied to just single offering...
I don't see what was wrong with just bringing a brown sac ward every game. the loss of BP was worth the peace of mind but that system allowed you to risk the Map Wars if you felt a hankering towards a particular realm.

Treacherous Crows would need a massive set of changes to be viable. It's one of the few perks I will say is truly useless and a throw to run... and giving up a hook state for it would be a huge penalty... I'd want something much better than auras for my hook state.
Tbh, I struggle to think of any remotely reasonable effect I'd give up a hook state for... even Weaving Spiders I wouldn’t trade a hook state, cause I can take take perks to mitigate issues with broken, such as OTR, Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, Iron Will, and take perks that benefit from it like Resilience, Made For This. A hook state, just brings me closer to death, cause if I can't heal, I'm closer to being dead than I was with Broken, and all those same perks above (notably DH, DS and OTR) I get less uses of.
Invocation need a few improved rules just to give them a healthy and scalable design: -
- Unique penalties that correlates to the effect/strength of the Invocation. Broken/hook states are harsh penalties to give out, and those penalties kinda forces Invocations to have really gnarly effects to compensate.
- Ability to do multiple Invocation at the same time. The stacking penalties from point 1 is a sufficient penalty to have this be a thing. This also allows you to equip more than 2 Invocations if we get a new one (as you need the active ability buttons to set which one you want currently, and on cotnroller you run out of buttona for 3 Invocations).
- I'd probably add a 30s minimum participation requirement to handle multiple players equipping Invocations for different effects, so a SWF survivor can't turn up at the end and pop it immediately.
- Perhaps a special HUD change visible to both sides so both survivors and killers know who has an Invocation effect. If we wanna get really cool, add a subtle effect to the survivor themselves, such as a few Entity infused Spiders running across their model, or their eyes glow Entity orange for Treacherous Crows like Vecna's Eye..
Changes to Invocations:
- Buff the effect of Treacherous Crows to also gives the auras of any survivors who disturb crows regardless of distance, and also make its penalty Oblivious not Broken. This makes the HUD and survivors in chase useful for other survivors to track the killer and generally help the survivor team with useful auras.
- Consider changing Weaving Spiders to be permanent Exposed not Broken. This makes Weaving Spiders a better choice against M2 killers more than M1 killers. Though so form of healing Invocation might be good to have Exposed as a penalty, which of course would synergise with WS as who cares if you're exposed if you're broken? 😉
These changes actually give meaningful use of Invocations that is scalable as you add more. Equipping multiple Invoactions can give survivors a lot of good buffs... at the expense of giving 1 player a lot of penalties that makes it very hard for them themselves to survive. The more invications you take, the fewer perks you have to mitigate the Invocations penalty, but you make your 3 teammates much stronger.
giving oblivious instead of broken would just break Trracherous Crows, would it not? perk only works if a survivor is inside the TR
I want that prerequisite removed so bad T_T
-
I just hope it's nothing I actually like because right now I'm scared of the quality
-
thanks for the reminder that I need to try the buffed still sight. I think for actual chase Treacherous Crows with Calm Spirit would work better, but I'll give it a whirl
