we all have our own preferences, biases and whatnot. I think anti heal Legion is bad, but my friends love to heal so I die to Legion Pin Legions a lot. For Springtrap it's possible you could be zoning out or not reading his tells. these little things affect us differently. I personally die to trappers a lot. some people are too antsy and refuse to stealth, taking free hits for no reason, or some people get too scared by large TR and don't act...things like that.
to answer the original question, I've always rated Legion higher than average; i found their tools to deal with macro play appealing even in peak Dead Hard era. I likes their info better than Doctor. that level of awareness and macro play is what made me such a mean Cenobite.
-
I think you're overthinking things
-
it's not a "reward" it's a "tactical decision".
some springtraps throw their axe into the ground because they don't like being slow.

We would almost never see these posts/comments if people made an effort to play both sides. The best is when we have people claim one side is “baby easy” when they’ve never once produced any evidence that they actually play that side.
The mods seem to do a fairly good job of filtering out the most obvious cases of trolling, but we still see the “us vs them” posts and comments quite a bit and it gets old very quickly. It would be nice if there was an auto-filter feature to automatically remove any post with the words “killer main” or “survivor main” because 99% of the time they are simply us vs them bait posts.being a 100% BP main is painful sometimes because I feel like a 6 year old in the backseat of the car and both parents are drunk and driving into oncoming traffic. I'm powerless to do anything about it but watch

I would guess this is the reason as well. I barely used to spend BP before, just enough to keep me under the cap when i was playing - now it's so much easier. And there's also been a lot of BP's on offer, what with login rewards, events, community challenges, it's been a lot and it's so quick to spend them now so people probably don't feel the need to hoard their items anymore.
Although I still do not have enough batteries for my flashie, but that just might be a me problem!
I don't use it myself, but I have one friend who is a dedicated Built to Laster+Potential Energy main and I will say it feels nice to hear "want me to fill that back up for ya?"
-
I don't think PC can edit any more keybinds than console already can. they just have more buttons like scroll wheel.
the issue with healing on pallet or yanking Cenobite chains on a pallet is a universal issue that all players need to correct. for example, my pallet drop is B whereas heal is RB

There is no reason to not bring something, unless you bring some perks for it. I usually skip lobbys where survivors have no items, because if you don't bring free help to you, why my match should be sweatier because of you?
One brown medkit can be gamechanging, and even if you look for fun, I love to bring flashlight and I almost never come for fl saves, but sometimes it can be very useful, if you are in right place in right time.it's giga Chad energy i guess " we are so good none of us need items" killers will see the no items and think easy game
...fake it til ya make it, right?

darn ravens. the only bird to have ever pooped on me was a raven. you'd naturally think its be the blasted seagull, but alas.

I had this thought when I was flirting with the idea of Moment of Glory. I don't like the idea of needing friends to take Cobblers to make it viable. this would be a good change because the margin of error is too razor thin without Appraisal

what were her thoughts when people with items were allowed to hold killer items too? I remember feeling special not having to immediately drop Residdnt Evil items

Got any Freddy build recommendations? Was thinking to give him a whirl tomorrow
all shaking Freddy is kinda cute; jump off heights as you teleport for extend-o-lunges
jagged compass is pretty clean on them too i was just kinda pairing it with gift of pain
-
there used to be the fear that too many items would cause the killer to take Franklins but that's not an issue anymore
I find myself having to remind myself that I can just take syringe every game and not worry about it
-
it's all fun and games until somebody makes an issue out of a Taiwan flag.
sadly this isn't the 2000s anymore we can't just tell trolls and rage baiters to shove off, as all outrage is now "engagement" and ad revenue.

Fog vials never should've even made it in. It's not a fun item to play against.
Like other items when they happen it's like "ah that sucks, but ay it is what it is". With fog vials… it's just genuinely annoying. I don't feel like "oh it is what it is" I feel like "oh this is just not enjoyable and just obnoxious to be playing into".
I'm sure survivors say the same thing for the killers and add ons we take.

that’s not true, she obviously cares what you have to say. So much so that she’ll change her hair and clothes for you. Your opinion carries great weight. All you gotta do is give the girl flowers. Is that too much to ask?

while we dont have confirmation i would imagine that the smoke vials would function better with the key and map token system over the flashie toolbox medkit charge system (you cant really hold down a fog vial, its a one time use). i dont think this will bring back franklins innately sadly.
looks like I jumped the gun...I forgot about the map and key reworks..

Shadowheart is displeased with this statement.
like she'll even remember what I said
-
if smokes are being changed, does that mean franklins revert?
-
at least commodious boxes are still on the menu
-
can't have killers losing tunneled survivors
I'm not against thr idea of smokes having charges though. but why relent so fast if you went to all this effort to rework franklins?

@4thdslip said:
Don't forget that they've also delayed the Swamp rework to 2026, are post-poning news on the Trickster rework as the devs imply it'll be used to sell the March 2026 chapter, had a content creator announce that two reworks were cancelled with no reason stated (Cenobite and Plague - announced through Hens' stream, with the actual reason being that they were delisting Cenobite) instead of doing it themselves and apologizing, and that Legion, Houndmaster, Dark Lord, and Knight each have full spreadsheets of bugs currently affecting them that get reported on a PATCH-LY BASIS.
excuse me...what? my fellow seeker of pleasure was cancelled on a Hens stream and I missed that?
ah geez.

you've earned a rest, soldier.

last stand too? that's nice to hear.
I'm curious to see how the smokes will fare. those things are my favourite

failure is the best teacher. old people aren't the smartest, they merely remember all their failures; each scar a lesson.
enter my Bootcamp and I'll have you whipped into shape in no time!
try this: Scene Partner, Object of Obsession, Troubleshooter, Resilience.
you now have no exhaustion perks, and no windows, but now you have safety in the eye of the storm. Troubleshooter and Scene Partner have great alternative auras, and Troubleshooter keeps you away from the highest priority generator. Resilience will help make you slightly more comfortable bring in danger. Object will help you get over any anxieties as now you have certain knowledge about the killer and their builds. no more guessing aura perks!
-
why is it my job to punish wrongdoers? if I could report these people i could, but the responses just say to me " if you want something done, do it yourself"
people only do bad things because they think they can get away with it. I might have to take a killer break because my autism compels me to go full Punisher but it's really a waste of time.
I think this is a proper moment for me to yell SERENITY NOW!!!!!

@DragonMasterDarren said:
What I am reading from this is that if it doesn’t literally crash the game, it’s not considered “game-breaking” and will therefore not be killswitched
And since BHVR for some reason stopped banning people for abusing ######### like this even though it is both incredibly obvious and has zero chance of ever being done on accident, people basically just have Carte Blanche to keep abusing this until it gets fixed, if it even does
What timeline am I living in and can I please leave itthe timeline diverged whenever a reddit post blew up confirming that "sex in dbd" was tied to Plagues infected breakable walls which prompted the sudden "plague can no longer infect breakable walls"
I'm telling ya man

idk what the answer is. I loved maining sadako 1 with the video tape, and I enjoyed playing survivor into sadako 2. but sadako 3 just does not compel me to play her nor do I find playing against her that interesting. it feels kinda wrong just shutting down the entire video store so casually.
-
no, but be careful you don't run into a killer who takes perks to reveal chest abusers and give you a bad match. would that meme be funny to you?
-
seems like it's on us to punish these people since the authorities won't.

I call BS, its only available on the new characters and not everyone has bought them. Additionally, a few hundred ms of advantage on a vault does not break the game. It might mean that occassionally yes, there's a miss instead of a hit. Big whoop, you lose a few seconds on one chase. It will get fixed but exaggerating wildly about it won't make that happen any faster.
The deathslinger bug on the other hand, if true, would demand it get fixed with morefocus. That is borderline game breaking.
survivors having dlc perks is not crazy. you only need to p1 a character to have the perks on your main.
I see little Rick's and michonnes tbh people are using the perks on their Lara's and Neas

Sables tend to be simps so they tend to be spared, leaving you to be killed.

it's sad that the only punishment these people face is the ones delivered by people equipping Human Greed or Hoarder. where the toxic bleedout killers at? now's your chance to be the hero of dbd

I got hit by Conviction really hard by a plot twisting smoke bomber with Unbreakable but despite me being flabbergasted I don't think its a big deal. I don't play the edge cases like Oni or twins but Conviction isn't really standing out to me as heavy handed.
-
id rather leave no blood trails . id take no Mither but it's suspicious to do and I frankly don't have the perk slots
-
it's made survivor fun again for sure
-
my old friend plague is always a pleasant experience.
I enjoy her with the Iridescent seal and the prayer tablet. tablet makes survivors choose to stay injured and thats where the seal punishes that.
for perks I start corrupt to infect everything to passively injure the team and I have Surge to hold the Generators but the meat and potatoes are Mindbreaker and Tinkerer; survivors will be broken, blind, exhausted, you're Undetectable, know where they are and about to get your power.
-
I tried to go for a flashlight save with Dramaturgy but I rolled a smoke bomb and used that without realizing
-
killer auras have gotten out of hand and survivors lost distortion; something had to give.
these smoke bombs also help with tunneling; doesn't matter if you reward spreading hooks or punish tunneling neither are as effective as removing the possibility altogether by having the killer lose the survivor in chase.
it's about time we got an item like this. I'm fine with a 60% killrate but you're gonna have to work for it and not just teleport to a Nowhere to Hide aura
-
@jesterkind said:
You scream and reveal your position because it's not a stealth perk for you and everyone around you, it's a perk for taking aggro off your teammates and getting the killer to chase you instead— hence the name "come and get me" instead of something referencing hiding or not being seen.
I don't think it's that great, but I also don't think it's terrible either. That and his Teamwork perk are very solidly in the "sure, these are fine" camp, and while that's not great I also don't think it's worth getting worked up over.
Apocalyptic Ingenuity is MUCH worse, and actually does need some kind of fix.
it's a nice fit for my Screaming Lisa; killers hate chasing screamers, but if everybody else is hidden they don't have a lot of choice without blundering about in the dark.
I always say the only way to combat tunneling is to remove killer agency, and hiding your team is a good way to dissuade it. it's cute.
-
tough competition lately. I feel like i have to run mindbreaker to have any chance

yeah I wouldn’t say weak but it depends on which angle you’re looking at it from, what you’re pairing it with, and your Strat. Aura denial in general is strong, I wouldn’t say OP but solid.
since it denies auras too I've been sometimes popping it on hook to play around some things like BBQ. on indoor levels like RPD those smokes really hotbox the whole place too its like there's a whole party in the East Wing. it seems the smoke has elevation
