But it affects the entire map meaning you need 2 or 3 more tp to Condemn surivors but it's impossible to avoid it unless your holding a tape

holding a tape and getting hit means you get a stack of Condemned And if you hook a surivor with a tape everyone gets a stack of Condemned

The only nerf is the 15s timer on tp

It will be easy to host hold a tape and stick it into a tv when you hear the lullaby

  • Do you mean if the generator were to get regressed to 0 when 4 BNPS have been used on it it would take only 50 charges to finish the gen?

  • @TatsuiChiyo said:

As a Sadako main, I feel she's being nerfed more than buffed since Survivors with tapes no longer passively gain Condemnation. Once Survivors hold tapes there is no reason not to just wait til I get to four or five stacks, return a tape, pick one up and get back on a gen.

The teleport giving Condemnation is nice, but I more used it to find nearby Survivors so losing that tech will hurt. As for the Demanifestation, I do like Ill no longer be stunned and that it ends chase, so now PWYF will be a good meme perk on 2 Killers.

Just overall I feel these changes will hurt her more than help, the only upside is that Condemn Sadako will be dead. Not a huge fan of that style. But just gotta wait to see how PTB feels and what comes to live

not sure if the only strategy that will make her strong is being removed... Would be if her base kit was buffed.

  • it's not a competition bro, they've done their part leave them alone.

I'm pretty sure Hag was mid range at best, at the very least according to the forums and the dev's stats.

Easily a B tier killer, possibly A tier, and I also think with these changes she's still stronger than trapper.

  • @Eelanos said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/382001/sadako-nerfed

I hate when we talk about Sadako because it feels like it's Schrödinger's Sadako: simultaneously the highest and lowest kill rate killer until you check the actual stats.

Plus, did you just put Sadako weaker than Trapper or Hag? Because putting her below any of them is hilarious to me.

Hag is one of the strongest killers in the game..?

Thats how it is people just look for stuff to get offended over I guess the devs hate French people because Twins hasn't gotten a cosmetic in forever too

If you don't mind ill be making a post about that to take the piss 🤣

  • @MalekithHatesSnow said:

Is this like the new thing now just call BHVR bigots because they wont release an outfit for David? This is the second discussion on the front page relating to this

It's so stupid aha, people are just trying to create a problem that doesn't exist.

  • @DemonDaddy said:

Condemned is a joke now and the changes will only make it easier to avoid altogether.

Agreed, with the cooldown, the fact that people with a tape don't get condemned after a tp is just stupid.

  • @ARTRA said:

I see more like Pig power.

Now with this power, survivors are going to be slowdown because they are going to be busy taking tapes and may be someone die because of it.

Just like pig you put the trap to slowdown and may be someone die.

I mean it cant be worst that it is now i would rather take the new thing and try.

This is the thing, there's less slowdown now because you can literally put the tapes in ANY Tv, meaning you spend less time on it.

jonah has less players and just got an outfit so thats not a reason

Im not sure if this is true but I'm guessing jonah has way fewer skins than David king, so I guess it's due. If not let me know though.

  • @i_dont_care223 said:

can a dev give me an honest answer on why david has been getting neglected since he came out as gay? like im not saying that its intentional but its weird

It's because nobody uses him, he won't make money so no point making skins for him, nothing to do with the fact he's gay

  • @OnryosTapeRentals said:

I think it's too early to say whether the changes will be a net buff or nerf. I'm reserving judgement until I can actually play it on the PTB (which I've heard is coming out tomorrow, but don't quote me on that).

Sure but looking at it from just the patch notes, it's a similar thing to the singularity where it feels like the survivors have WAY too much counterplay

  • @Onako said:

Mh I think an undetectable boon would be kinda pointless on him considering how much noise he makes when coming out of a locker, especially when it was locked.

A speed boost could be a thing but I feel like it might be kinda unfair on certain maps that are rather small and cramped together (looking at you, Midwich).

i dont think it would be too unfair on smaller maps rather itd just be a nice help, but it will certainly be a help on bad maps with bad lockers.

  • @DrDucky said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/381796/dredge-buff

A speedboost when getting out of a locked locker is a cool idea tbh.

Yeah, would make him feel less clunky

  • @DrKetchup said:

Doctor has an ok anti-loop power, but due to the slowdown he gets during the charge up, he barely makes up any distance on the survivor. The slowdown should be removed.

Would be one of the best-looping killers in the game, just hold W with him and players will just be forced to pre-drop pallets. No counter to him at all.

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

I kinda changed my mind about event after a lot games. Event powers favors killers.

Insta pallet breaking just feels so unfair when you go against it. They are not slowing while using it but pallet is going for forever.

And if there is no loop to near, you will just get hit.

People said this snow-man was so unfair for killers. But now what is this?

Survivor powers are honestly so useless. I mean killers are using vaults so rarely. And dream pallets are just... Useless. Because if killer respects it, you have no value from it.

But killers have insane values from their event powers.

Yes, creating infinities by blocking windows is very bad, having a single loop with 3 pallets next to each other is also very bad. Please nerf killer to the ground.

I just got Hux today and didn't get a cake until like, around my 10th bloodweb.

Yeah they don't seem to appear as much in the first 10 bloodwebs

  • @Sonzaishinai said:

This is the second person i've seen complain about people not using the aniversarry offering.

Are you people that oblivious to the fact that it's the first day? Not everybody plays this game 6+ hours a day and hoards millions of bloodpoints you know

leveling up once will probably get you a cake.

  • Wesker isn't even bad to face, it's a bit boring when you play him 5 matches in a row though.

  • @uganda_calm said:

My personal problem with Made for This is that it is just to versatile and has no drawback at all. It is good against every killer and only gets stronger with different maps. There is no reason to not take it. It makes already strong loops, unplayable for killers. Obstacles that are already almost impossible to work around as a killer get unbeatable for real. And this all just because the survivor is injured. They suffer no drawback at all and can even clear gens faster indirectly because they can get faster from gen to gen.

And this is only talking about the Haste it gives, not even mentioning the fact you become invincible for 10 seconds when healing some one.

My idea for a rework for Made for This:

    Activates when injured.

-haste of 5% (maybe even 7%)

-10 seconds of endurance after healing another survivor

-Made for This causes exhaustion and can not activate when exhausted

With those changes you get a permanent haste when injured but got the drawback of not being able to use exhaustion perks like lithe or sprint burst

    Exhaustion changes:

this also ties nicely into this topic but maybe is a little controversial.

But i think you should not get haste from anything if you are exhausted. Why can you run 7% faster with hope or break out when you are exhausted but not run 3% faster with made for this? It just makes no sense. Either all of them work when exhausted or non of them.

Just an example: If you run Made for This and hope and get unhooked with guardian, you are faster than every killer for 8 seconds (movement speed of 117%) and can still use sprint burst or lithe after this.

    This is just dumb.

You've managed to make the perk twice as strong.

  • @Chilli_man2400 said:

I played on the new map and all I hear is it’s another ######### map and it sucks. Scott Jund made an entire joke video about how Toba is the worst map ever. But is it?

Is it worse than Borgo, Garden of joy, fractured cowshed, Old RPD and Haddonfield?(that map isn’t bad either)

No it’s not I played as killer and it never felt unfair it was actually a cool map. Even when I failed it was on me cause I didn’t pressure right. Sure it sucks on ranged killers and the visuals can be weird but it’s really not the worst map far from it.

I hate when people exaggerate how much maps suck when this one isn’t that bad at all. Borgo and Garden deserve that hate.

One of the worst maps in the game in terms of balance, looks nice though.

Obstacles and lOS for ranged killers are just a joke on that map, not to mention it's quite hard to see scratch marks through the grass.

It also has a main building with quite a few windows and pallets. If unlucky, there can be lots of dead zones for survivors.

It really is an awful map.

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

Because it always gets a lot complaints.

First CoH and now Made for This.

And then people are asking why survivors are using same perks over and over again. Because you are not letting devs to make good survivors perks. Whenever they do, you are asking nerf immediately.

Nobody complains about Teamwork perks or 80% of survivor perks tho because they are just garbage.

I say it's fine, there are more High-Tier Survivor perks than there are killer perks, not to mention survivors are all the same movement speed and don't have powers, I think killers should have a higher variety to support different abilities and whatnot. Not to mention the recent nerfs towards almost all slowdown perks, it's a 2-way thing.

  • @BarnesFlam said:

The Singularity belong either in A or B tier.

Maybe, I think with some EMP nerfs he could honestly become A tier, against a good squad his power is so limited though.

  • The bare minimum should be to not allow it to stack with other haste bonuses.

  • @IamFran said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3455672#Comment_3455672

The nerf to temporary item drops doesn't decrease his tier imo, the Hoarder + Franklin's build is more a troll build than a strong build.

His box used to counter items base kit as they had to drop them to pick up the case, that’s not a feature anymore though

  • @IamFran said:

Switch Sadako with Freddy, put Cenobite in Tier A and put Pig in tier D and the Tier List is more or less OK.

I feel like the nerf of temporary items drops cenobite to B Tier, Pig isn’t D tier level I don’t think

Whenever I see these, I just assume they are PC-oriented.

Nurse is outright horrible on console. I can't even imagine the hours needed to make her decent. Also, I've never faced a decent Nurse, and I've been playing since Chapter 7, or earlier, was released (I actually don't know when I started, 2017 or 2018).

Hag has no place on the A Tier, unless maybe on a small map?

Twins above Doctor? Wraith below Leatherface and JUST above Trickster & Clown? I can't see it.

Also, Spirit is massively over-rated post debuffs, IMO. I used to main her as Killer (she is my only P10, everyone else is P3 or P1), but her hitbox is so sh!t, I'd rather play Trapper these days. Legion has the same issue.

If the list is targeted at the top 1% of PC players, I have nothing to contribute, but the list is also of no value to me.

I'm on console, yeah but it is PC-oriented, I could make a console tier list if you want. I face plenty of decent nurses (all on pc), Twins is also pretty underrated, they're buggy but pretty good. Hag has good pressure on the map, and decent power to stop loops and disorient players. Wraith is good against bad survivors.

I do not see why pig is in C personally id put her in b or even a cause of her built in slow down kit, sure yes you can lost 1 or 2 gens early but once she catches one person and puts a trap on its a wrap, cause now you risk endangering your team mates or yourself. I also would put trickster in D.... he is so rare to see and very powerless even vs medicore solo que. Finally I think dull merchant base on my experience vs and using her feel A like to me.

Maybe I have done the pig a bit dirty, just don’t play much against her or as her. But I think trickster is good where he is, against solo queue he is a demon due to his high dps.

  • @RaSavage42 said:

    Why is Pig so low???

It pains me to see other people's opinion on her

In the right hands she can move up a bit, she just doesn’t make into B tier I don’t think

For the vast majority of the players, Nurse isn’t S tier anymore. And creating tier lists based off of 6000+ hour comp players is a waste of time.

I remember a time where most of my survivor matches were against Nurse, Blight, and Spirit…. but Nurse and Spirit have gotten huge nerfs since then, and now Blight and Wesker are over represented in my survivor games. It’s gotten to the point where I’m encountering more scary Huntress players than scary Nurse players.

Sure she has a high skill ceiling but she is undoubtedly the best killer

  • @Spirit_IsTheBest said:

I agree with your list, I though think that Singularity should be put lower in C tier, even in High D tier he is very add-on reliant and maps for him suck.

I honestly think the same, just didn't want to get heat from people saying he's "not been out long enough"

  • @MimiDBD said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/379186/7-0-0-killer-tier-list

I'm not really losing hair over Spirit being 3rd over Wesker but I am losing brain cells trying to figure out why Plague/Artist is ahead of him. He is at least in the right tier.

Right now (RIGHT NOW) I would have Singu the only killer in D-tier. Playing him the last 2 days really made me appreciate Trapper. I have always felt people were lost/confused when they put Mike in D-tier. Could he use an update? No doubt. However the insta-down alone should be minimum C-tier. Every killer behind Singu I could kill you light years faster with (Yes even my console Trickster). I am getting the hand of cameras and teleporting with him he has lots of potential but requires way to much time/effort to tag only for it to be deleted in 2 seconds.

Don't even get me started on over cloak. I have activated this 3-6 times every trial and yet to see any value. Why does it last for 5 seconds? Why does he get slowed so much when teleporting? Almost does nothing unless you some how teleport cross map through your cameras. Which by the way you have more chances of a unicorn walking out your ass.

Other than all that I like your tier list. If I wanted to nit pick some more (I do) Wraith if in C-tier should be the head of C-tier.

I think Plague is miles clear of Wesker, Plague is stupidly strong, her base kit anti-heal is unmatched, and she puts on the pressure early on in the game. Artist on the other hand is debatable.

  • @nars said:

seems good to me. I think I'd bump wesker up a slot though, his basekit slowdown makes him better than p head in my eyes. I'd also probably slot ghostie into top of C, but only because so easy to reveal 😭

Would've been C but since the nice QOL and small buffs I think he deserves to be low B tier

  • @Quizzy said:

So im pleased with Into The Rainbow charity event. But we need more representation for the characters in the game when other games like overwatch are doing it better. We only have one canon gay character. Even then, that character has been ignored with lack of new cosmetics and no mention, no tweet acknowledging him on pride month.

We need to do better. And its tiresome to see us move at a very slow pace.

The game is receiving terrible feedback about the latest chapters, BHVR is pressured to try and improve the game status, and adding LGBTQ+ characters is most certainly their least worry out of a huge checklist.

I'm not really sure what validation you get from having a video game character represent something, there are no Muslim/arab survivors but I don't think anyone is deeply offended or annoyed by that, whilst it would be cool, you don't necessarily have to take it for granted, it's a horror game and they have features and stuff to add, tons of bugs to fix.

"no tweet acknowledging him on pride month" There was a whole event/stream made for pride month, acknowledging an LGBTQ+ game character is just weird, no?

Thank you Larry! You are the hero we were looking for it.

I think i died only 3 games against him in 20 - 30 games. And one of them just tunnelled me out and it costed him to 3 - man escape.

Larry is an S-Tier killer! I would request the community to keep using him as he is amazing to play with, it sure will make my games harder but it's okay!

it is fun but for me only if i switch up which killers i play

Same , I don't like to use stupid OP killers either like blight or nurse, something in the middle park with a fun power like Dredge, Wesker and Hag

  • @Riski said:

I personally have very much enjoyed this map. It's visually very pretty with lovely fuana, the mini hill tiles are unique plus fun and I've not noticed any major balance issues so far when playing survivor or killer. It doesn't look too safe, there are open areas for ranged killers but areas with a bit more obstruction for stealth killers and the main building isn't that safe from my experience. The only issues I've had with the map is that it's a bit big and the main buidling gen was hard to find and get too when I played as survivor. I think the map probably favours survivors but definately not to the same extent as some other maps like Borgo, this feels more in line with Thompson House or Family Resident as a large but not very safe map. Do people dislike it because of what it was like on the ptb? Or do people consider maps with trees to be cluttered? Or is this just a loud vocal minority on the forums?

    1) Terrible for ranged killers, LOS is blocked in most loops.

    2) Has a stupid strong building in the middle of it with a few nice pallets.

    3) Just way too colorful, hurts my eyes.

I hate that map so much. Useless garbage everywhere.

    I hate that perk too.

  • @Skill_issue said:

why not just play the strongest builds if it is that important? why not just use nurse specifically if 4ks are all that is important?

sweating to get a 4k every match just leads to harder and harder matches and more mental stress...what is the point? is it ego?

gen rushing and getting out of the game in 5 minutes when it probably took longer to find a match? I cant think of a better equivalent for a survivor win except maybe a 4 team escape but that is mostly swfs

what are the communities thoughts? is it really that important to get a 4k to assert dominence?

Lots of people find winning fun, something about dominating a team and getting a 4k is just enjoyable.

  • @jesterkind said:

How on earth is everything about this chapter busted...?

Beyond EMPs still being a little overtuned, it looks at worst like a neutral chapter.

The map is terrible for almost all ranged killers, and quite cluttered as well, "Made for this" is not a healthy perk for the game, as you said EMPs make the singularity feel sluggish and make him an m1 killer most of the time.

  • @pseudechis said:

Its been 1 day of live, do you think there is enough observed experience to make practical changes already?

  • @BlueHorkew said:

Remove the 3 gen killers and then i would agree.

Until then, this perk is a god send against 3 gen SM players.

Wouldn't be able to complete a game against that SM today if it wasn't for this perk.

Also, the 3 gen that she created wasn't part of first 3 gens that the perk showed.

It's amazing against 3 gen killers but considering how few of them there are and how it also affects killers just playing normally is a bit annoying

Unique perks I agree, strong no. Gabriel's perks? Which and can you please summarise the effects? If I missed something, I always correct myself

I find "made for this" and "scavenger" pretty strong.

Made for this: When Injured, you gain a 3% haste bonus, when you heal a survivor, you gain endurance for 10 seconds. Does not function while exhausted.

Scavenger: Hit 5 great skill checks, fully restore a toolbox to 100%, and complete gens at 50% speed for the next 30 seconds after restoring a toolbox.

Soma's other perk allows him to see the killer's aura for 6 seconds after dropping a pallet, not as strong but definitely useful for aura builds.

First 2 I'm pretty sure the community agrees are quite strong survivor perks.
