Before Oni is had basically no use at all but now with Nemesis it has some use. You can run furtive chase, Nemesis, and myc on nurse and everytime someone unhooks the obsession they become the myc and you see their aura because of nemesis so you blink to them and they are obvious so they don't hear you coming and you one shot them.

A solo survivor chapter for the telltale walking dead game as Lee as the survivor. He is one of my favorite character in any game and would fit so perfectly in dbd.

Que time's aren't a issue of not enough players it's just that one the matchmaking system isn't working properly and the game just isn't balanced. Killer is not as fun as survivor for most people so the majority play survivor making the survivor ques insanely long.

It's not people being super competitive or people who want to win every game. It's just that people want to have fun. Waiting 5 minutes for a match just to get moried off first hook isn't a fun experience and neither is having 3 survivors escape on you because they had a key and hit the button. Everyone is just trying to have fun and a balanced game is a big factor in that.

I mean if the killer doesn't run aura reading then sole survivor and distortion are useless so it's not anything new.

But even that flick is unintended. The devs are gonna nerf that soon with a hotfix. Unless it already happened and im not aware
They are fixing the issue where you can use both your mouse and Q and E to get basically flick twice as much so your able to do a 180 degree flick. Once they fix that you will still be able to do a 90 degree flick which you can't do on console at all do to sensitivity.

Op is over reacting when he says Oni is unplayable on console but he is worse. It has nothing too do with skill either. Console just dose not have the flick. No amount of skill will allow you to flick like you do on pc and that's where the problem lies.

My dream survivor would be Lee from the walking dead game season 1. He would fit so well into the game being used to surviving and working with others. It would also make a lot of sense for him for the entity to take him. He has a lot of hope and the entity could of taken him right when he was about to turn.

I guess it would be nice but it's not needed at all and would just make them waste development time on that rather than more important issues. Rank doesn't do or mean anything so I don't see why you can't just practice online. Yea you will probably not do that good at first but that's to be expected. Even if you got to practice against bots before hand that really wouldn't give you that much experience.

I agree that people who play both sides equally have a better understanding of balance, but just because someone plays one side doesn't automatically make their opinion wrong.

Furtive chase combined with the new nemesis and make your choice. The savior becomes the new obsession, which activates Nemesis' effect of showing their aura for you to go 1 shot them. Throw in PWYF for some extra fun. Works incredibly well on Wraith due to him being able to get around faster and break chase immediately.
Nemesis doesn't active though until the obsession stuns you so yea the myc would become the obsession but then you would have to find them and make them stun you which at that point the myc could already be out.

Too many people don't realise that the meta is not even close to being the only viable way to play the game and are afraid to experiment outside of it.
"Mid-tier" perks that may come off as bad to some people are designed to give the players a wider variety of playstyles to choose from. Many perks that are generally considered mediocre can be excellent in the right hands, if people would just get a little more creative with their builds.
There are also a lot of perks, particularly for survivors, that are designed to help new players get into the game rather than challenge the meta, such as Windows of Opportunity and Deja Vu.
Every perk in the game has a purpose and a use. You just have to be creative enough to find it.
It's not even that they are releasing weak perks cus I could care less as long as it's fun that's all I'm asking for. But some or these perks serve literally no use. Take Furtive Chase for an example, name one time that perk is ever useful. Or Mind breaker, you would have to be a stealth killer at the start of the match and the person you find needs to have sprint burst for it to be useful. It's the same on the survivor side to for example premonition, why would you ever use that over spine chill. Buckle up serves no purpose because you know if somone is recovering if they are not moving and you know if the killer is coming by the heart beat so that parts pointless.

I agree with Lery's because I feel with that map you need to have good awareness and asses the windows and pallets near you to think of which ones are safe. It makes for fun gameplay and something that's different since it's not just mindless looping.
For Hawkins I have a different opinion. Where as on Lery's you never know if the room your running is safe or not and you need to figure out how to use on, on hawkins every room you run in will have a guaranteed 1 or 2 safe pallets and a safe vault. It just isn't as fun as Lery's.

I wish Auto haven and Macmillan were put together because I feel those maps are very similar and pretty well balanced. Obviously some parts of the map aren't balanced (looking at you Ironworks window or Wretched Shop windows) they both have a decent amount of pallets that aren't too strong and are decently sized maps.

I'm losing hope too :( I have been wanting these in the merch store since they first came out. Mcote also responded to a tweet a few months back asking if they were coming to the merch store and he said they were working on it.
Ace definitely has the best but Tapp's one is a runner up

His portal's are super important. As long as your not putting them in the middle of the open you can get a lot of use out of them.

As someone already said every single character will look better in the trailers because you don't have the limitations of the game. Even in the cinematic that you see every time you open the game all those characters look way better than their in game counterparts.

When I get camped and tunneled I find it unfortunate then I move on. Unless you are in a highly coordinated swf there isn't much you can do.

Dbd is the first game that I really found a group of friends and a community that I felt apart of.

Recently finished Death Stranding and I loved that and now I'm kinda in need of another story game to play.

The Balanced nerf has now brought it in line with the other exhaustion perks. When the conditions are met (window, injured, hill, locker, etc) you get to gain a little distance on the killer. With old balanced you got that and so much more by being able to use the stagger reduction to loop infinites.

The entity can take forms of multiple beings (in Wraith's lore he takes the form of the god that Wraith believes in. In game he takes the form of those spider legs so he can look like whatever it wants, I think the Entity itself is just one being though not multiple. The Entity chooses survivors who have a lot of hope because he feeds off hope. For Benedict, Vigo, Alex, etc they could still be survivors that we just don't play as but my theory is that they have been in the Entity's realm for so long that they have found a way to stay out of the trials and are doing their own things. For example we know Viho has been doing stuff with the serum so maybe that's what he's been busy with. The horror movies are all real and did happen in those characters respected worlds. For example the first Halloween was real in Laurie's and Myer's universe but in Quentin's universe it was the freddy remake movie that happened. So I guess when the Entity brings all these characters together he is merging universes.

I see a lot of people saying Leatherface but he needs a full on rework not just new addons. Hillbilly has some useless addons and some broken ones and he has no ultra rares so I think he should be next after doctor. Also since billy and Leatherface basically share the same addons when they change billys they can also bring those to leatherface.

Eveyone in the game gets hit already so old mettle was just a free protection hit without having to earn it. New mettle is fine but pre nerf was probably the most broken perk in the game.

I don't want a fnaf chapter but I wouldn't be opposed to it. People love hating on fnaf just because it's popular and kids enjoy it but it actually has really interesting lore.

This isn't just dbd but every single game that has some competitive aspect to it. Hell the dbd twitter can't even post fan art with out people responding and screaming about nerfs buffs, and everything in between. It's part of the reason why I feel bad for game devs they literally receive death threats over the littlest things. It just really is sad to see that people believe this behavior is ok.

These are only first impressions obviously but I do think coming out of dash is too quick. Right now if your dashing towards a survivor and they have good movement and know how to dodge your dash flick combo it doesn't matter because you can come out of dash in half a second and just smack them down. It just feels like you could outplay him but it really doesn't matter in the end because of how fast he gets out of dash. Other than that I think he's perfect but maybe could use a buff that makes lockers not deplete your power cus that's really annoying.

I know he is 115% but he FEELS slow, I don't know if it's because of his size, but I really feel him as a slow basic movement killer. It's like freddy's reach, he's the same as other killers but it feels broken (I don't want him changed though)
You just feel slow, it's similar to when you turn your fov up in a game and you feel way faster. He's speeds fine he's 115 like every other killer and doesn't need to go any faster.

None of these really. Story mode would take way too much development time away from everything else and what would a story mode even look like. A Asymmetrical multiplayer game wouldn't make for a good story mode.
I don't even know what a infected mode would look like in dbd and just doesn't sound that fun.
Hawkins doesn't need a rework. Maybe some of the more busted loops should be looked at but it doesn't need a rework.
I guess a free killer would be nice but I mean whats the point.

Anything that increases the flashlights brightness blinds the killer faster. Just aim for their face with the flashlight while they are breaking the pallet. The smaller the beam gets the closer you are to blinding them.
There are no addons that make the flashlight blind faster. Some make the duration of the blind longer but none effect how fast you can blind.

Do you ever think we will get stats in game? For example a page that displays your total escapes/killers and other personal data of that nature.

Blood has nothing to do with the orbs, the orbs are produced when a injured survivor performs actions. The only things that effect the orbs are The Oni's addons.

What I hate about the change is that it isn't the perk that's broken but the maps. Instead of fixes these broken loops and infinities with balanced they band-aid fixed it by nerfing balanced which is what they always do.

Yea nemesis isn't too terrible, I still thinks it needs to get fixed though. But bop is just old legion on steroids it's horrible.
