I don't get how people don't understand simple math... the BP bonus on survivor doesn't mean "nobody wants to play Survivor". Legit it's a 4:1 ratio. Survivor should always have it cause it needs more people... You can have 40,000 Survivors playing and 11,000 Killers and the BP bonus would STILL be on survivor. How is that "Nobody playing Survivor!" when there is nearly 4 TIMES the amount of people playing Survivor as Killer?
I'm sorry your bad and your MMR is low so you get stuck with other bad players. Stop throwing excuses for you losing.

"he stoped trying to winstreak with Wesker after being sent to Eyre of crow, with a team that had 3 commodious toolboxes with 3 bnps and a purple medikit."
So because a killer main is not able to have a non-stop winstreak he finds it not fun? There is a reason survivors are quitting the game because killers are entitled to win every single game and the game is giving it to them now.
Message to all killer mains and streamers: Getting a 4K should actually be rare, you are not supposed to noob stomp every team with ease. If it is happening, it means something is bad wrong with the balance of the game. Whenever I watched Otz, he wins all the time. Shouldn't be a thing. There is two sides to the game and both sides deserve fair and equal chances at winning.
Survivor Mains like you will do anything in your power to negate a the skill level of Killer players. Not to mention lying about anything and everything to beg for buffs and Killer nerfs.

I don't know why people are debating the 'state of the game' in general as a reason for this when Otz even specifically mentioned his reason is based on cheaters and snipers, which by and large only affect big streamers on a regular basis.
Debate the state of anticheat and the ban system by all means, but there's nothing about game balance in there.
You must have missed this video. Snipers and cheaters are half the problem, but the fact he gave up the Wesker win streak is because of the balance. It's also why he wants to take a break. It's just not fun trying to play Killer and getting massively Gen Rushed so the match is over in three - four minutes tops.
Survivors just have WAY too much going on for them when it comes to "Speed Up". Speeding up Heals and Gens with perks and item stacking, coupled with large maps (Ormond, Erie Of Crows, Mother's Dwelling). That or coupled with maps that are INSANE God Pallet heavens (The Game mostly).
It doesn't matter how much slow down you bring as a Killer, it won't work.

Name literally anything you've ever done. Where after 8k + hours....You're still having the same amount of fun as the beggining stages that hooked you to begin with....?
One thing I notice about otz, and other streamers I seen who took a break at some point or another. They are people who refuse to adapt and just play what they need to. To have fun in this game.
Do I want to stack slowdown to match what DBD requires currently ? Not really, but it's mostly required against people who arnt total bots. It helps the game be much more enjoyable, and gives me a kill rate I'm good with.
Final Fantasy 11. My first ever MMO, it just celebrated it's 20th anniversary. I have 28,000+ hours of play time over the course of 20 years playing. Still enjoy it.

Sometimes. Terminus / No Way Out / Remember Me / NOED. NOED is more for the speed than anything considering it got neutered last patch. It's insurance in case nobody is injured after the gens are done as well. You can swap NOED for Bloodwarden, though that's a long shot. They get a gate open, you lose everything else and all you have left is Bloodwarden. Plus, they get the gate open, they are dipping cause they are going to smell "Endgame build, Blood warden" a mile away.

First, this is an asymmetrical competitive game. This is why people play it. Competitive games are expected to be a 50/50 win rate.
It's not a horror survival game, that's Silent Hill or Resident Evil. People who are saying it's a survival horror, are absolutely wrong. The games not scary and never will be scary.
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught and killed."Dead By Daylight is a multiplayer (4v1) horror game."
Popular user defined tags : Horror / Survival Horror.
Being competitive does not change the theme of the game. Though sure, change it to fit your narrative because you are crying about not surviving most of your matches.

There is a reason for their complaints, let me see here...
*Flips open Survivor Rule Book for Killers and other Survivors*
Page 327 - "Going down from getting hit twice."
Paragraph 2 - "It is somehow NEVER your fault for for going down. It is ALWAYS somebody else fault." *see attached subsections for applicable reason(s), then select reason A, B, C, ect. ad infinitum for specification*
Sub section 1 : "Killer has OP anti loop power" - Nope not that one.
Sub section 2 : "Game lagged" - Nope, not that one either...
Sub section 3 : "I need old DH back! Perk nerfs were overkill! BHVR killed Survivor!" - Nope, not that one either...
Sub section 4 : "My team mates screwed me!" - AH-HA! Here we are... lets see now...
Reason A : "Team mate sand bagged me." - Nope, not that one.
Reason B : "Team Mate didn't body block for me." - Nope, not that one either...
Reason C : "Team mate made noise next to me, letting the Killer know where I was!" - Nope again...
Reason D : "Team mate was being chased, lead the killer to me, and baited me!" - Dang, this one is hard to find...
Reason E : "Team Mate used the God Pallet I was saving for half the match earlier and screwed me!" - AH-HA! Here we are!
See they are complaining because you clearly violated The Survivors Rule Book : Page 237, Paragraph 2, Subsection 4, Reason E. That God Pallet was SPECIFICALLY CLAIMED as theirs. (Maybe they took a leak on it to mark it as theirs, which you ignored.) Sorry man, you're in the wrong, you clear need to read The Survivor Rule Book.
(This is satire of course, before any Survivor Mains decide to come in here all butt hurt.)

The only killers that can be remotely scary are ones with the ability to turn off terror radius. Otherwise there is nothing scary about this game. I get that they want killer to be the power role but when the bonus bp hasn't even left survivor it kinda shows that they need to balance the game a little more. I mean I sat in lobby with 3 survivors and waited for the fourth for 5 min before the game found someone. If the goal is to push everyone to play killer and make survivor a miserable experience then they have succeeded (excluding SWF's with 6k+ hours)
The BP bonus SHOULD always be on Survivor. If it ever goes to Killer, then that means there a is a ratio of 5 to 1, Survivors to Killers. Which is massively imbalanced. the reason you had to wait so long is less people play solo queue to fill as your 4th than SWF. Reason being at least half or more of the Survivor player base plays SWF simply because they want to play with friends, or because SWF is much much stronger than solo.

If the goal was to get a Pip and BP why do they consider killrates at all then?
Also, that still doesn't explain how your line of thinking is that "survivors just like to mess around and that's why they die". When in actuality that isn't even close to being the case. If you play survivor enough you'd know that.
They consider them because Survivors demand they do. We also have the fiasco that was the devs comparing DBD to hockey. Like I said, you win when the game says you win. Not when you set a personal goal.
101 of 209 (48%) achievements earned:Yeah, I do play Survivor. More than Killer actually, and I know that's the case. Unlike most on here, I have zero problems posting my profile and my proof.

Um, why are you pigeonholing survivors as if they all do that?
That's like saying all killers over-commit to chases, never want to break a pallet etc. (Common killer mistakes)
Escape should not be "rare" for the sake of being rare, both sides should have an equal chance of winning.
Again, moving the goal post. The goal of both should be getting a PIP and BP. You can PIP and get BP as survivor without escaping. You can PIP and get BP without getting a 4k as Killer. Escaping is a bonus, not a requirement. Even if a survivor dies, they can still win. you win when the game says you win, not because of some arbitrary goal you set for yourself.
You don't get to set a higher goal for Survivor than Killer, then complain you didn't meet the higher goal as often as the lower goal.

Numbers 2-7 all punish solo q survivors so I ask this again is it fair or right, in every sense of the word, that solo's should pay the price for other solo's? Because if you agree to that then I agree that the killer should pay the price for making one small mistake that costs them the entirety of the game. I think it's fair that every SWF brings purple toolkits with brand new parts and prove thyself.
Stop moving the goal post. It doesn't matter who it effects, SWF or Solo Queue. I play solo 90% of the time and don't have an issue. Yeah, it is fair. You don't get to have the benefit of a team, then whine and complain when they are detrimental instead of beneficial.
Also, Killers already lose entire matches based on ONE mistake.
-
That stats should always have Killers be in that range because first of all : Escape should be rare, not the norm. This is a survival horror game, where's the "Survival and Horror" when you're living half or more of the time? Secondly : You need to account for the reality of how the game plays, not what you "expect" the game to be played like.
After 6 years of DBD I would think the devs have noticed the trends among it's Survivor player base. That the biggest trend being chief among them is simple : Survivor players tend to do stupid things that get them killed.
Such as :
- Trolling the Killer
- Trolling each other
- Rage Quitting leaving the rest of the team down a player(s)
- Killing themselves on hook on purpose cause they didn't like the map, Killer, Perk didn't work, ect.
- AFK
- Bringing sub-optimal perks
- (This is the biggest one) Trying for REALLY stupid plays at the end.
Number 7 is the biggest skewer of stats. Millions of deaths can easily be attributed to survivors just NOT LEAVING when they could have, and should have. What would have been EASILY a 3 man escape, turns into a 3k or 4k. All because the Survivors JUST HAD to go back for the ONE DUDE who got caught at the end. They hook bomb a killer and pay the price.
Basing the games balance on survivors doing optional stupid plays is NOT a good idea. You're putting the Killers at the mercy of Survivors doing the dumbest, most sub-optimal, and frankly "I'm a whiner" plays in order to get anywhere. Meanwhile, Survivors that don't, just PUB stomp Killers cause they aren't going to do stupid crap like that.
-
I think it's asking a bit much of the Survivors. Three is alright, but 4 is pushing it. Just my 2 cents.

"Dude gets unhooked right in our face and is on Death Hook, go after him
again instead of the one who's never been hooked yet, "OMG TUNNELER!""
Yes, that's litterally what tunneling is, an unfair and pathetic strategy abused to get a 100% guaranteed 4 kiils that doesn't require any skill.
Behavior have been promising to fix it for years. Still haven't. All we can do as a community is not to tunnel, until tunneling is fixed.
Same way Survivors tunnel gens then. Why don't you stop repairing a gen at 33% and 66%? Just leave, go find one that hasn't been worked on do that one to 33%, then go back to the other one you had at 33%, and do that one till 66%? Keep swapping gens. It's pathetic and unfair you just concentrate on one Gen to get the whole thing out of the way. No skill Gen Tunneling.
Bias Survivor Mains and their wonderful double standards.
-
@ASurvkillivorer said:
The problem after the initial "correction of the bug" was never the 66% or the 45 seconds that got buffed to a WHOPPING whole 5 seconds more. It's the fact that if you're worth a damn at survivor and playing a killer who is worth a damn. Why should you ever get the stun? You literally need to play a killer who prioritizes kicks over chases..aka....a new killer who doesn't know the game.
Only killers lacking confidence kick gens before a chase. Then you run the killer and you either end up downed and hooked and hope he goes back to the gen all inside 50 seconds? Uhm no. This was the issue with the ORIGINAL version let alone this. The likelihood your trap would actually get activated was so small. But hey at least once you earned it you earned it. He HAD to kick it for you to lose it again.
Making it 16% easier to gain an ability you likely won't get to use makes zero difference. Nor does it lasting 5 seconds longer. Honestly, you could make the trap time INFINITE and it would barely because you need to have the gen HALF finished anyways.
If they're going to insist on a dumb timer. It should be even less than 50% progress needed to use it.
Or ya know, let it be how it used to be. A totally NON OP gooof perk I only use for stun challenges....
"Only Killers who lack confidence kick gens before a chase." Or they are smart and are going to make the most of their time?
Yeah, I saw you sneak off to the side there. So I'm going to pretend I "didn't see you", go kick the gen, lull you into a false sense of security I "Didn't see you" for an easy hit, because I know you're still crouched behind a rock or something. I'm going to make the most of my time, making sure that gen is regressing while I chase you.
I also may have perks that I'm going to apply like CoB or Eruption so it regresses faster. (Which admittedly CoB is worth nearly crap cause 200% regression is only half as fast a single Survivor charge / per second.) Though when I do down you, that Eruption is going to come into play nicely.
Not to mention most of the time, If I get hit with Blast Mine, even when the Survivor isn't close by, they are often waiting for me to leave. Nearly every single time, all I have to do is pretend to be leaving. They come running back ASAP. Most Survivors get a big head when they get a Blast Mine on me. Their ego is their downfall. Take the Blast Mine, kick it, pretend to walk away, and watch them come running back cause they think I'll just "give up". They have it in their head I'm thinking "Oh damn, they are miles away. Best just give up and go to another gen." It's setting my own trap, cause they'll come RUNNING back and I'll have them out positioned and surprised.
Seriously. Why is it whenever a Killer plays with even a hint of intelligence, Survivors start to belittle them for it? Hook a guy and all the other Survivors are buzzing around the hook like flies. Stupid to walk away, "OMG CAMPER CAMPER!!!". Dude gets unhooked right in our face and is on Death Hook, go after him again instead of the one who's never been hooked yet, "OMG TUNNELER!" Now this?
Why is it Killers are BERATED for not playing like an AI BOT for the Survivors to toy with? They want a Killer to play like they are programmed to play exactly how the Survivors want them to play, and lose most of the time because of it.
-
TLDR for anyone : Balance around Survivors who are bad because "game too hard for casuals." Meanwhile, balance for top high end MMR Killers cause they need to sweat their balls off for a 2k. I'm totally not a Bias Survivor Only player.
-
That would be a bit too strong. I was doing the White Glyph in tome where it really debuffs you as killer breaking pallets, walls, ect. I tossed on that add on with Leather Gloves, and I shredded pallets on Badham.
The Photo add on is well deserved to be an Irri cause it was quite strong. It was like having Billy's Insta-saw back for shredding Pallets.
-
It helps with my build Distressing, Unnerving Presence, Merciless Storm, and Coulrophobia. The whole build is about turning your TR into a weapon by slowing healing, messing skill checks, and blocking/blowing up gens. It's great to screw Hyperfoocus users. I'd say my win rate is around 70%, maybe with it.
Using Weskers Bound as mobility helps keep my TR all over the place on larger maps. I'll chase and down on one side of the map, and instantly Bound to the other. This ensures if someone is healing or working on a Gen, they are going to be slowed down or get stuck facing a hard Merciless Storm, that and screwing any Hyperfocus they may have got if they brought it.
-
I mean, does it matter? Getting found means nothing as a Survivor, just loop.
-
For the most part yes, most Survivors find any Killer they can't loop into oblivion for their montages "boring". Though personally, when I play Survivor I HATE HATE HATE Doctor. I can't hide, I can't do anything sneaky, I can't play smart. All I can do is run in circles and run around holding shift+W like a stupid headless chicken.
-
Distressing, Unnerving Presence, Merciless Storm, Claurophobia on Wesker. I will screw your Hyperfocus and your healing. Good luck hitting the greats now and have fun with heals taking a while.

What region do you play in? I play NA West and I haven't seen Killer BP since the first day role incentives was re-added (and even that was only for about 2 hours). I also have checked sporadically from times such as 10am-4am on weekends, and 6pm to midnight on weekdays. It might only show up during the day on weekdays, or early morning on any day for my region, but as far as I am aware it never swaps.
Us East. I play early morning on weekdays and prime time on weekends.

What's your win condition?

Look, I like to let someone go at the end from time to time just as a power trip. Or if they give me an item as an offering. It's basically saying "Oh I could so very easily kill you, but I am merciful, so I will let you live. Live, so I may hunt you again."
It has nothing to do with "picking a favorite" or "working with the survivors". It's a guilty pleasure of power tripping. Just let me shamelessly flex on Survivors for once, will you?

I made no claims otherwise, I would still say that people deserve to not feel as though they're actually playing the game and not feeling like it's a miserable time to do so. It's ridiculous to claim that's a zero sum game for one side. I have absolutely lost and had a good time playing this game. One side does not need to feel awful for the other side to have a good time.
It's only feels awful because many take it personally. Would they complain the same way if it was another horror survival game? Would they feel the same if it was an AI Killer tunneling you out?
I watch Twitch a lot and a lot of Horror Survival games. Phasmophobia being the chief among them. I don't see people getting mad when the Ghost specifically targets them instead of the others on their team. It's only "miserable" because they make it miserable. They take it personally, when it's not personal at all.

Yeah, I think that it's just out of whack at the moment. At the highest of the high, survivors are still very strong, but to get there requires extreme levels of coordination and skill which the vast majority of players don't have. Meanwhile, even middling killers can perform really well with the ease of camping and tunneling. There's just an imbalance there. People might argue it's balance and fun and fair, but since it was re-enabled I haven't ever had anything but the +100% BP bonus for survivor. Nobody wants to play the role because it's :) not fun :).
Yup.
Never happens.
Nobody wants to play Survivor.
Killers never have the BP bonus ever.

Developers : "We should give Wesker a large Terror Radius as a weakness. His Bound allows him to cover large distances quickly, so in order to give Survivors more time to react, and get to a safe loop, he will have a 40 meter Terror Radius. This will make it much easier and safer for Survivors."
Killers who play Wesker : "Hmmm...". *Adapts to turn a weakness into a strength*
Survivors : "OMG KILLERS ARE SMART! WHY!?!?! NERF NERF NERF! OMG KILLERS OP!"
Same as always... Killers adapt to turn weaknesses into strengths, Survivors whine about it.

The attitude of you people is downright disgusting. For the fifty millionth time, I DONT CARE ABOUT PERKS. You should rely on perks to counter fundamental problems with the base game, namely, generator speed which has been extended for absolutely no good reason.
It was extending for a good reason. Gens were getting done to quickly. You're the one with a disgusting attitude, it's obvious you're complaining because you can't bully killer is chase as well anymore. Instead of doing your actual objective, you want to have your little side fun doing whatever you damn well please, and still winning.
Your entitlement is off the charts. We get it, you're an angry bully player.

Quick Question : I'm iridescent Survivor and Gold Killer. When the reset happens when I get the BP reward for the reset, can I pass the cap?
I'm saving up for Wesker release, and have 1 Million BP saved up. If I save up 2 Million BP, then the rank reset happens, will the BP i'm rewarded be allowed to surpass the 2 Million cap. I have Iridescent 1 Survivor, working to see if I can get Iridescent 1 Killer so if that does happen, i'll have 4 Million BP for Wesker.

Exactly! It's the objective of the game why is it so boring! You can have an objective in a game without it being BORING!?!?!?! Like, have a task to do like you would have in Among Us?! Those tasks aren't boring! I would never hear people complaining about that.
How the hell is it entitled to ask for a game which you PAID for to not increase its tedium!? Like jesus christ get over yourself thinking your this hot survivor
More like you miss the days where you could win by bullying the killer in chases with the broken 2nd chance perk spam Survivor Meta. Your post in another thread "Killer sided trash game!" confirms.

And why don't people enjoy the role? Might it not have something to do with the fact that the latest update made the game worse for survivors? The game took the most boring part and amplified it?
It took the core part of the game and amplified it. The Actual OBJECTIVE of the Survivor gameplay.
This thread is the definition of entitlement. Not only are you entitled whining you have the right to screw over your team mates and the killer with Rage Quitting. You are also entitled whining you actually have to do the games objective to win, instead of whatever the hell you feel like and still win.
This is why even as a Survivor Main, I have very little respect for Survivors these days.
-
This is what I was trying to say pre-patch, and now post patch I tried to say this when some Survivor Main was complaining "Doing gens is boring! I want to be chased all game!" They had options as to how they wanted to win. Wining via Gen Rushing with Speed Up perks, or winning via the Survivor equivalent of "Slow Down" perks. Bonus of bringing items as well.
The old meta was the Survivor "Slow Down Perks" meta. Dragging chases on far longer than normal, slowing the killers down. However they had THAT route, plus at any time they could go the current "Speed Up" route with Perks like Prove Thyself and Resilience. Not to mention Speed Healing to cut that down time like We'll Make It, CoH, Autodidact, Deliverance (to eliminate the need for other survivors wasting time to come get you off the hook), ect. Not to mention Speed Up with Tool Boxes that have BNP and Swivel Sockets. Bonus of adding the perk Built To Last.
To me, a lot of Survivors are just complaining they don't have options on how they want to play to win. Meanwhile, Killers never had an option. It was always Slow Down perks. Slow down to deal with Infinites, God Loops, and Loops. Slow Down to deal with Survivor Slow Down Perks, Slow Down to deal with Survivors Speed Up perks, Slow down to deal with items being stacked with all of the above.
Killer Speed Up perks were useless. Only Nurse and more recently Blight got any use out of them. Speed up being Aura Reading. Making finding Survivors faster, though that doesn't matter. Survivors don't care if you find them unless it's Nurse, cause they are going to be ready to go to Loop A, Loop B, Loop C, ect. Speed Up in the terms of Enduring, Brutal Strength, Spirt Fury, ect. on chase perks means nothing because most loops, 90% of the time wasted is before the Pallet even drops.

1 thing I know forsure is that killer lobbies are long long.. survivor lobbies are instant.. soo much so they even tried to implement a reward to play survivor role as an incentive... soo i'm sure a vast majority of survivors are quitting....
The implemented a incentive to play whichever role was in demand. Survivor was "in demand" all the time, even when there were more survivors than Killers, cause the system was bugged. They took the system away till they could fix it. Stop spreading false information to make it look like Survivors have it SO rough.

Been accused of aim botting 4 times. Nemesis never miss a whip, Huntress never miss a hatchet, Trickster, rarely miss blades, and Death Slinger rarely miss a shot. They said "Nobody is that accurate!"
I have nearly 4,000 hours on Hunt : Showdown and I play with Sparks LLR and Uppercut 70% of the time. I HAVE to be deadly accurate with those guns cause they are high damage, but slow reload weapons. (The Sparks only has ONE SHOT before reload). I'm used to shooting someone's hat off at a distance of 150+ meters, where they are the size of a 4-5 pixels on my screen. Most of all Death Slinger. his gun is basically the same as a Sparks in Hunt.

If you don't agree with my subjective opinion thats fine. But if you have to put people words in their mouth just to feel better, then man, thats on you.

I know that putting people words in their mouth they have never used, is a normal thing in this community, but no. I find fun in interacting with killers - not in winning and humiliating killer or the player behind it. These are things that you are interpreting.
It is just that holding M1 for 10 minutes is just boring. And I am forced to it since u have to commit otherwise CoB + Overcharge is gonna destroy that gen. And the meta has not changed anything in terms of killers using only anti-gen perks.
Except it's not really putting words in your mouth. You complain about Gen Slow Down Perks, when you have speed up perks. You want to be chased all match, but have the power to stand up to the Killer and lead him on a Wild Goose Chase. How is that not humiliating for the Killer? That's what the Killer is supposed to be the King of, The Chase.
Also, if you want to be chased all game. What's stopping you? Go find the Killer while the others bang out gens, and wiggle your butt in his/her face and have them chase you. You can still do that just fine. Is it "not fun" to be chased because you're going to go down too fast and die? Is being chased all the time only "fun" when you can still win as a result? You only have to do the gens if you want to win, but if you don't care and just want to have fun being chased, then go for it. No one is stopping you. Are you lamenting the fact you have to help at all on the gens?
Do the gens and get out. That's the point of Survivor in DBD, that's why it's called SURVIVOR, not RUNNER. It's not interpretation, it's what you want. If you want to be chased by something trying to kill you, but get away, then there are a plethora of other Horror games to pick from.
As a side note about your last second little "jab" about Killers tunneling : Why would you complain about being tunneled? Is that what you want? To be chased? Is this another case of "I want to be chased, but only if it's highly advantageous to me, and I win because of it." scenario?

I can only speak for myself, but I guess most survivors agree with me if I say, that interacting with the killer like being in a chase etc. is what makes most games fun. But the last few patches made the "fun" part not really accessible anymore.
U have to commit to the gen or otherwise it will decrease within few seconds, if I put it dramatically. The new meta change did nothing - Killers are still running 4 slowdown perks and gens are taking longer than before. Even if we ignore the whole buffs towards killers + the survivor nerfs, I am not willing to stay in a 20 minutes long match against a legion where I only can repair gens or mend myself.
My experience right now is worse than before. I still only face nurse, blight and legion with 4 slowdown perks and really strong addons, where I either can do generators or die. And I notice a big increase towards tunneling since the patch but that is a different topic.
Well that's for one simple reason. You, like many other Survivors, only find "fun" as winning *and* humiliating the Killer in the process. It's not enough to win by doing the gens and getting a pip, or even escaping. You have to dominate the Killer in every aspect, or it's "not fun." Wining the Gen Game, Escaping, and humiliating Killers in chases. You want it all.
To combat Gen Slow down perks Survivors could bring Speed Up perks. Prove Thyself, (only need 2 with this by the way), and Resilience. Healing Speed Up perks to waste less time healing (We'll Make It, Autodidact, Botany Knowledge, ect.) Plus, you have Too Boxes and Med Kits.
Not saying you're toxic, though many Survivors are, but if utter domination in everything is the only thing you find "fun", then that's a mind set problem. You don't get to dominate every aspect of the game. Chases are supposed to be what Killer's dominate at. Doing Gens are what Survivors are supposed to dominate by being efficient. Escaping and dying is the struggle between the two. Take away the Killers ability to dominate the chase, then they just loose.
That's what has driven my bonkers with Dead By Daylight over the past 5 years. It's not about "winning or loosing" for Survivors, it's about dominating the Killer and humiliating them at everything.

hacker teammate
I didn't know hackers could do that
Hackers can do anything they want really. It's the worst for streamers who play Killer. They hold the streamer hostage as well as their team mates (if it's a solo hacker). Bet you it was that Dwelf in the picture doing it. The Nemesis was probably wondering ######### too.

He's just moving a bit. Should have been around for the true Face Camp days. Back then, Killers could stand in one spot and block the hook prompt like Survivors can to body block. They changed it cause it was an "exploit" to for killers to use their collision / hit box to block the unhook prompt. However survivors using their collision / hit box to prevent a hook is "perfectly fine."
I always felt that was bias as hell toward Survivors. If using your collision / hit box is an "exploit", then that applies for both sides, not just one side.

BHVR had another small team make a game similar to DBD, and Death Garden failed TWICE before they threw in the towel. BHVR isn't going to try and make DBD 2 anytime soon.
I think Death Garden failed because the disparity between the power of random Scavs and squad scavs was even more insane than the difference of solo Survivor and SWF in DBD.
Going from random Scavs to a squad of Bonesaws and Ghost spamming Active camo and revives from far away was INSANE.

I mean, sometimes Killers don't have a choice. I had a Trickster match, It was a 4 man SWF. They brought RPD offering and Sacrificial Oak offering. They ALL had Breakout, Breakdown, Boil Over, and Flip Flop. They also all brought Tool Boxes. They also went to that stupid upstairs "Comp Corner" in the Library.
I literally couldn't get them to a hook, so I had no choice but to let them bleed on the floor. One dead on hook, 2 bled out on the floor. All that work for a Black Pip. Talk about doing well, even though the Survivors made your objective impossible, and the game telling you it was a draw.

Screwing with you for how long? I honestly need to know how they did that. I want to gain blood points that fast too. That seems almost impossible. After 4:30 I would probably leave with 10k + escape points. Also, they must have been on gens at least with 2 people to get coop repair bonuses, which means less chase interaction. WEIRD
Chasing 1-2 people (the ones with the highest score). They got some very lucky window vault tiles. Then it's a simple matter of 99% the gates, and then, running around safe pallets. Go down at a pallet, I have to chase them off before pick up to hook. Revolving door of hit, heal, hit, heal. They just swap out who's getting smacked. Meanwhile downed guy recovers, then gets up. All the while they are getting Boldness points being in my TR.

4:30 and the survivors gained 33k, 29k, 26k and 24k?
How is that even possible?
Screwing with me after the gens were done.

No it isn't, it just isn't. Honestly I don't even know what you are getting out of deluding yourself with this crap. Does it makes the killer queue times more sufferable for you?
BHVR will need to buff survivors against camping and tunneling. These strategies are way too effective for how unfun they are to go against, and how little skill they take. I do not know any other online vs game that has such cheap and skillless strategies be so effective.
Your post is honestly just insane. I can not believe you are serious lmao. This is almost hilarious.
You probably, unironically blame survivor players for your long queue times. Wanting them to queue up so you can have your fun, not caring whether survivors have fun or not. Which is ironic, since that's exactly what people like you would argue against when it comes to tunneling, that killers aren't there to entertain survivors.
And no, having to use gen speed perks to somehow have a chance to get gens finished is not good balance. Survivors shouldn't be dependent on certain perks. Not to mention that leaves less room for anti-tunneling and anti-camping perks, which survivors also get told to just run.
Maybe you are enjoying those killer queue times? But if not, to balance them out again, survivors will need buffs. And I am sure queue times will get even worse with the new chapter releasing, if nothing is done in that chapter update. Even if you do enjoy these queue times, many don't. And BHVR ignoring all the problems this game has currently is not a good idea on their part.
I also love how you bring up the endurance stacking, which was addressed when the patch went live. Luckily, but people were also complaining about slowdown perks stacking too much, and nothing got done about that. If survivors are using endurance perks, it's to help them against tunneling. Which they absolutely need, because the 5 second endurance and haste effect are not effective. Very few also use it to bodyblock, but in that case, you can just go for them again, if they force a bodyblock. Not to mention you should be discouraged to stay at hooked survivors anyways. Bodyblocking is also nothing toxic, I really hope you know that.
You thinking the majority of survivor players are just bully squads is one of the most delusional things I have ever read on these forums. And luckily, the devs don't think that as well. Who knows how long it will take, and whether they will make good changes, but I am positive at some point they will give survivors some help as well. Now that killers got a bunch of baseline buffs, survivors need some compensation, especially in form of nerfing camping and tunneling. People like you not approving of this won't matter in that case, especially someone who actually believes most survivor players just want to be able to bully the killer.
You are probably just not as good as you think you are.
Why do I even bother... The insane ones are the ones who want to play a 1v1 in a 4v1 game. Nope, it's not unironically, it's the truth. Survivors are bitching and moaning cause they can't 1v1 the killer for 4-5 gens. They think if they go down, the Killer should go down with them. They want to be the hero.
Oh sure, Survivors shouldn't be dependent on Speed Up Perks. Though Killers should TOTALLY be dependent on them. Play Killer, but don't bring any Gen Defense perks. Though even if you do, they are so worthless it doesn't matter. If the Survivors bring Speed Up perks (and items), well... LOL git rekt.
This is just another stock case of Survivor Main who thinks it's perfectly alright for the Killer to be at the mercy of Survivors playing horrible, or not bringing certain perks and items. If they do, Oh well, take the loss. Say thank you sir, may I have another.
Yeah, i'll gladly wait 5 minutes for a balanced match instead of waiting 1 minute. I'm already tired after the last 5 years of waiting 1 minute, to get a 5 minute Gen Rush game. Where One Survivor can 1v1 me because he had DH, DS, BT, Prove Thyself / We'll Make It / Leader. Where they ALL had that loadout. Anyone can be the "runner" while everyone who's not currently being chased, Rushes Gens with Speed Up perks. Top it off if they decide to bring Tool Boxes.

What the hell are you talking about? Please tell me you are kidding.
This is about making the survivor role more fun for more people again. Not about letting bully squads have their full bully potential again, which is just ridiculous. It's completely delusional to think that's why so many people are fed up with survivors, and that's why killer queue times are so high. Because all the bully squads aren't playing anymore. Hello? Do you purposefully just ignore all the valid complaints about too much slowdown as well as camping and tunneling?
You shouldn't need gens to take pretty much 130 seconds in order to win, and that is without camping and tunneling. Even worse with those strategies. Needing such slowdown indicates that you probably aren't that good in the game. If you are getting bullied too otfen, then matchmaking is just screwing you over, putting you against people that are better than you at the game.
If you want to see good queues for killers again, camping, tunneling, and at the very least Pentimento and Eruption will need to be nerfed. Maybe Gift of Pain as well, but the latter only a little bit. Like 12% or 14% instead of 16%. And there needs to be a cap for how much action speed debuff and buff effects can stack.
The only "Valid Complaints" Survivors have right now is about all the Survivors who are rage quitting and suiciding on hook. Everything else is just whining they can't bully like the used to. I play solo Survivor 90% of the time, and I've pulled off insane plays that would make SWF groups blush. I've faced "Forever Plague and Legion". The only times those went bad is when others quit, at the very least all 5 gens got done. Usually at least 2 escape. I've never used the old meta and currently use Flash Bang, Lightweight, We'll Make It, and Iron Will. I'm Gold 1 Survivor and on my way to Irri Survivor.
Camping and tunneling is nothing more than Survivors complaining about "MAH 1v1"!!! This is a 1v4, not a 1v1 FOUR TIMES OVER. It's not like the other Survivors magically stop repairing gens while the killer is chasing someone. If someone gets screwed, then that sucks for them. Deal with it. Waste as much time as you can, and take solace in the fact you lasted enough to get 2-3 gens done for them. Survivors are already fighting back pretty easy with stacking in Leader and Prove Thyself. Not tot mention they could bring tool boxes for even faster Gens.
This match lasted a total of 4:30 seconds. So you can guess what'll happen when Survivors get even more buffs. Not to mention if the developers nerf slow downs even more. This only had ONE Prove Thyself too. They wouldn't even need the BNP and tool boxes if they had more. Survivors have a PLETHORA if ways to fight back against slowdown perks on Killer. That they don't use them is their problem, not the Killers. It's also not on the developers to coddle them either.
So yes, this is about Survivors wanting to bully. They don't want to bring speed up perks like We'll Make It to speed up heals. They don't want to bring Prove Thyself and Leader. They want to stack in Endurance and 2nd chance perks. They are equivalent of slow down perks for Survivor, by extending chases. Bonus that they can shove it in the Killers face that they can't be taken down and hooked quickly. It's about being defiant, and "bullying the power role."
I'm sick and tried of Survivors using the "That's not fun" doing the gens and getting out. It's SURVIVOR, not "HERO" where you get to fight back. If Survivors can't figure out to fight back slow down with speed up perks, (and items too), then that's ON THEM.
Survivors can still EASILY break the Killers "Slow Down" meta with Speed Up perks and items. They just don't WANT TO. They WANT to bully killers. Many WANT to be toxic while bullying killers with 2nd chance perk stacking. Stop coddling Survivors because they decided to shoot themselves in the foot.
