How many counters does a perk need? Since killers didn’t know how to play around the perk it will now have the most ways to disable itself than any other perk in the game.  Pretty much paralyzing the survivor to keep it. As difficult as it is for the survivor to complete objectives this is a huge set back. Most matches there is little hope. Killers have nothing to do but one objective while survivors have to do several and on top of that punished for doing anything where killer perks completely changes the game. Now survivor perks punish for playing the game.

A perk “Nothing to be afraid of” is really the opposite now. More afraid of losing it and needing it when a spirit phases all the way back and tunnel.  Was it forgotten that being a survivor you should try to heal yourself if you are injured? What benefit is it to have good med kits? It should be fair game to try to heal yourself and not worry with losing a perk. Not to mention trying to help your team. Now Bubba will be stronger in the basement because BT does nothing to him, DS you could maybe unhook someone and have a chance for only one to get out. An unnecessary buff where Bubba didn't need it because there is no counterplay to killers like Bubba.

It was nerfed way too much to benefit only killers and make their game easier than it already is with nothing added to it to help survivors. Like the least that could have been done was to stop the timer if someone is being chased or slugged on the ground. I thought 1-time use perks should be powerful, not very weak and catering to the other side so much. Undying was a busted perk and it won the killer the game, yet it still got huge counter buffs when it was nerfed. DS is only a 1-time use perk and it can really only be used by a facecamping killer now and that assumes that they don’t slug.  It is ridiculous decisive strike will be so situational and only useable if killer plays a specific way and can still prevent it from being used by slugging.  Lets be sure killers can abuse it. The decisive strike nerfs were rushed and for only to entertain killers.

    It Deserved a nerf

Playing 3 games already this morning and it was Huntress every game, I'm already done. I'm going to eat my cereal and leave the rest to endure that. It's pretty clear Huntress is a crutch killer as much as it is spammed constantly. When something is used that much, it means there is a problem. Hatchets that are unavoidable and uncounterable, killers crutch on things that have no counterplay to gain a massive unfair advantage. But lets make it a huge priority to nerf a fair survivor perk again and leave Huntress in her busted state. Too many hatchets to make up for mistakes with almost no cooldown, mammoth hitboxes that are too forgiving and gigantic, a lullaby that is non-directional. Broken.

    Huh that's new

Just had a match with a rank 4 killer playing pig. I was able to loop her well and she had given up on the chase multiple times and decided to just tunnel two of my other teammates. ( the minute one was taken off hook she would go straight for the injured one) I had only been hit once, never hooked. I managed to do all but one gen when the time came and I was the last one alive. She immediately closed hatch and found me and one hit down me with NOED. Honestly I’m not the best player but even I knew she wasn’t that great, at least with Pig. It sucks that I did pretty amazing that match and got screwed over by a perk a lot of people use to get a free kill. It feels like my efforts were undetermined very cheaply by this perk. I’m not saying get rid of NOED but perhaps if there’s only one other survivor left then NOED shouldn’t activate. Like to me NOED is used as a last ditch effort when all the survivors are still alive endgame and the killer hasn’t gotten anyone.

    Lol No

  • It's a legit strategy that has a counter. You just gotta do better situational awareness.

NOED is by far the worst perk in the game and any killer who uses it is just so bad, you shouldn't be able to win because you couldn't confirm a kill the whole match. Survivors shouldn't be punished for actually doing a good job and getting to end game - will it ever be removed or changed?

also any killer mains who reply to this defending NOED your comment is being overlooked I don't associate with negative vibes

Pyramid Head shouldn't be able to see the auras of cages. It encourages tunneling too much. The cage spawns are already pretty predictable, so if someone REALLY wanted to tunnel they could probably do it. But it'd be harder and take more time because they didn't know exactly where just the general area.

Cages are meant to be time savers not free passes to tunnel. At least I hope that's what the Devs intended

I think pyramid head is perfect how he is

I was playing normally, huntress with windup add ons. Then I seen in the lobby all four survivors had flashlights and one had a key. I don't have Franklin's unlocked so I used an Ebony to counter it. I don't get why people think that using flashlights and keys are ok, so when killer uses something similar it's a sin.

    Agree

I can't stand the trapper. It's not that he's scary or anything I'm just a mediocre survivor so I have alot of trouble with his traps and how random the placements can be. I.e. I'll run to this loop because it's close, and now I've stepped in a trap amidst my panicked scurry 😑. But I love going against nurse. I play on PS4 and I have only ever run into maybe two console nurses that were actually any good.

    Fav Myers, least Plauge

  • @gatsby said:

The practice of slugging the third person and waiting out the bleed out timer to try to ensure there's no hatch escape is completely killer sided and lacks counterplay.

The game won't end normally with two survivors left and all the options for the last survivor only appear after the third one is dead.

I think that doubling or tripling the bleed out timer when there are only two survivors left would do wonders because it actually puts pressure on the killer to hook instead of leaving them slugged. And it makes the game end faster when the killer holds the game hostage by waiting out the bleed out timer when the last two survivors are both are slugged

Or just get rid of hatch

Hi, how's everyone doing? Been playing this game for a while now, first time on the forum.

So as for some context as to what happened, deciding to play some Hillbilly (I main Trapper and Pig), in the pre-game lobby I saw all four of these guys had toolboxes, so mentally I prepared myself for a genrush. One of them sent us to Ormond as well.

The funny thing is that they tried repairing gens in front of me (namely the Killer Shack one), and weren't too nimble at getting out of the way while contesting it to get smacked.

At one point the Billiam Overbeck player ditched his toolbox for a flashlight, blinding me once. I knew he was going to keep trying that, so to get the Feng to the hook, I decided to go backwards.

Tow Mater style. And it worked.

Sure enough, he tried for the flashlight blind when I was doing that. And failed.

So once it was like, all gens done, I had Billiam on the hook and Claudette (the salty shitter you see in that postgame) downed, and I was watching Feng, almost daring her to open the gate since it wasn't too far away from us.

Then Kate rushed in, and that's when I started getting juggles and kills.

They could've just opened the gate and left to leave me with a 2k. But no, they wanted to be altruistic, and all three got themselves killed, while the Kate who was just at the exit gate wisely decided to leave as I was coming over.

Now I'll openly admit, I'm far from the best at this game, but I'll only camp if all gens are done. In any other situation, I won't do it since I view it as a waste of time.

    Camping is a legit strategy.

  • Isn't father time just a weaker bloodwarden

Hear me out. Last night I was just trying to do my EGC sacrifices and Rancor tome challenges, so I put on a full endgame build, complete with Fire Up, and it felt amazing getting those buffs when three, four, and five gens were done.

Now that killers can expect two or three gens to be done before the first chase is over, doesn't it make sense to take the 8-12% buff on kicking gens/pallets, picking up and hooking survivors, etc.? This can be a game of seconds, after all.

    Put it with brutal strength

  • @SkeletalElite said:

Killer Tier list is based on the potential of a killer in the hands of a player practiced and proficient with that killer, ease of use is not considered. Killers are within no particular order within their categories

A (Strong Tier): Billy, Spirit, Freddy, Nurse

B (Okay Tier): Ghost Face, Huntress, Oni, Hag, Doctor

C (Meh Tier): Trapper, Wraith, Myers, Plague, Demo, Pig

D (Bad Tier): Legion, Clown, Bubba

A Tier killers are about where they should be, although billy needs his addons standardized to the modern formula

B Tier Killers need some minor help and are pretty close to good as they are, generally buffing their power a little nerfing addons where necessary would be good enough to make them A tier

C Tier Killers need some help, typically in the form of a moderate buff to be A tier

D Tier killers are just bad: They need a lot of buffing to even be considered for A tier.

Tell me what you guys think

    Bubba bad?

  • @yandere777 said:

Survivors dont need nerfs or anything like that. If their perks are nerfed they can still do 3 gens in a minute and some.

What the game needs are some fundamental killer buffs. If not that then make a bunch of add ons basekit for the weaker killers and proceed to spice up their addons.

The first option will be easier and more immediate, it makes everyone strong somehow and if some killers overpreform they can be fine tuned in a hotfix.

Second option is the better one because it makes individual killers stronger at what they already do. We all know a jack of all trades killer sucks ass, look at legion. He has everything yet also has nothing. If one thing all low killers have in common its being heavily add-on reliant and not having much good/unique addons. Make the brown add-ons base, change up the effects from just number changes to something unique and make them viable without addons. Currently I feel oni and freddy are the best examples. They get bonuses from their addons but can do just as fine with no addons.

Enough survivor nerfs and new mechanics. The killers being weak is the underlying problem

    Agreed

  • @Morgeese said:

I'm currently rank 1 survivor rank 3 killer and heres what I think. Killer's need to monitor gens. If that means playing hit and run with sloppy then you do what you gotta do. If you devote enough time to a survivor chase to allow them to gen rush you thats your fault not the devs for taking an annoying perk like ruin and making it less annoying. I played a rr swf lobby today as freddy and they got all but 1 gen done because i read their playstyle individually and as a team. I knew i needed to not over commit to 2 of them and that the other 2 would hide for a sec when i checked a gen and wait for me to leave. It was a tough game but I won with skill not a crutch perk that they could've easily cleansed anyways.

    Depends on the killer

This is from a killer main: the new doctor is a slap in the face to Clown, freddy, hag etc

He can spam shock therapy to block pallets with zero consequences, it isn't fair, he should have 5 shocks available and then the need to reload.

He is a better Clown with also tracking and plenty of slowdown.

He should have max 5 shocks and a three seconds reload to top them up.

No I'm sorry I dont agree.

There's been talk about noed getting nerfed and talk about noed staying as it is. One thing which stands out is that noed is a frustrating perk to go against. It's almost shameful to equip it to begin with.

I like noed but I think it's due a nerf and when perks get nerfed to be less annoying, they tend to lose their function.

So here I am thinking of nerfs which will be less annoying but still as lethal at the end game.

Waiting 7 seconds for the noed cooldown to happen would mean the perk is more strategy based and not as crutch as it is deemed now. It would reduce the slug potential due to the fact that if you hit one Survivor down, for the next 7 seconds if you hit a survivor they will need 2 hits to go down or the 7 second cooldown to be complete.

This isn't a nerf noed thread, this is more of a I know noed will eventually be nerfed and when it is please make sure it's use remains, which is of course the insta downs once gens are completed.

And yes I know some Survivor perks need nerfs to break them out of the meta but that is irrelevant to my point however much I agree with you.

It's fine how it is, just do totems.

    • NOED was no longer applied to a totem
    • Exposed status was no longer applied
    • Two consecutive hits grants you the ability to kill that survivor by your hands
    • Hitting another survivor cancels what was gained from the previous hit on the original survivor
    • The ability to kill with your hands cannot be applied if the survivor was still injured once the last generator has been completed unless they are fully healed
    • The ability may be used on more than one survivor as long as they were hit two times consecutively

    I'd rather use Rancor

  • @emptyCups said:

    Point 1

    S-6 obj

So gens are 80seconds each plus 20 for the gate so each survivor is responsible for 105 seconds of an objective or 7 minutes for the group. AT BASE

    Killer-12 obj (each hook)

So it all comes down to this 35 seconds for find, a chase, a down and a hook is expected for a killer each time. 12 times with no mistakes to get a 4k win. Dispite how the last guy gets free hatch

    Point 2

Survivors have a better field of vision. Killers are locked into a small first person window

    Point 3

Survivors have 12 perk slots as team to counter the killers meager 4 slots.

    Point 4

Survivors can each bring tools with ultra rare add ons while the killer can at most bring 2 if that killer has that many.

Survivors keep tools and addons at escape while the killer has to grind for his each and every match. Survivors can also gain tools within the match and leave with them.

    Point 5

Skill checks have visual and audio cues so after the first few hours of this game you shouldn't miss another one, making them irrelevant because they are so easy.

Terror radius and red stain help survivors locate the killer while the killer only has sounds of repair and crows but he triggers crows himself so they dont often help and take a while to respawn.

    Point 6

Teamwork like rotating chases, com communication, hook rush and body blocking are only some of the huge advantages that killers cant compete with.

    Rambles.

2k-2E is not how the game is made otherwise we would see the score screen at 2 kills.

Most arguments are modeled upon ranks, time played, or who mains what. I have played since launch and hit every rank on all characters each year I play both sides but 2019 que times have forced me to be killer more often rather then wait 20minutes a survivor match. So so so many stats are missing that players just dont have access too...

but 50% kill rate could mean 3 players get 4-k and 3 players get 0-K.

If you camp or tunnel with mori you can get a 1 kill almost every match. If you bring key or ask friends to dc you can get hatch every match. These do nothing for the quality of the game nor should we discuss balance on that or how top streamers play.

All killer perks have counters but maybe 1 and survivors don't have any perks that can be disabled by common killer action like hexes can.

If I'm missing something or I'm not understanding something please explain it the best you can.

    U right

  • @Human_Giraffe said:

So I've been playing a lot, and mind you I play on the switch, and almost every third killer that I play against I bring an amazing item or a map or something like that and I lose it because my teammates can't rescue me. And this isn't because you can't kill everyone without camping.Quite the opposite actually, I main The Shape and I don't camp, and I usually get all four kills. I think how we could fix this is make a perk that if the killer is within a certain radius of a hook the gens repair speed goes up X2 so you have a better chance of escaping. Or something like that I just want to stop getting camped and having my teammates not stand a chance.

    Hell no😂😂

Of all the things I have found wrong with DBD, the biggest issue I have had for way too long is No One Escapes Death. I refuse to see why this perk has went so long without a nerf. I'm not going to say to remove it, but something needs to change, because I'm tired of playing a game great only to die immediately to NOED. And it's hard to find the will to stay on the hook, since then all you do is risk killing anybody else. I'm not saying ditch this perk, because I understand that the best use of this perk comes from matches that went poorly for the killer. However, this inspires toxic gameplay. I absolutely despise the fact that you can do awful the entire game, yet still possibly net a 4K due to this single perk. Ruin was changed because people hated how annoying it was, but Ruin didn't need a change anywhere near as bad as this perk. Here are just a few ideas on how to nerf this perk: 1. When the killer runs this perk, change the design/color of the totems, that way it is worth it to cleanse dull totems, but doesn't totally eliminate the possibility of NOED actually triggering. 2. Have a requirement for the exposed effect, like only have the exposed effect if 4 or 3 of the survivors are still within the trial. This will still help Killers who've had a bad game, without entirely removing the ability for the survivors who've played well to escape. 3. Buff the survivors in some way. This doesn't have to be a big buff at all, but anything that makes it slightly easier to not die immediately is worth it. Like, how about removing all the survivors' exhaustion or make vaulting pallets and windows a bit faster. Just one of these tweaks would make playing against a killer with this perk infinitely more enjoyable, without making this perk worthless to run. Please, anybody consider this and spread it. Out of all the current balance issues, this one seems the most obvious.

    Do bones

  • @greekfire774 said:

You killers keep winning "oh ruin was our only chance to get a hook before a gen popped"....and "how dare the developers be survivor sided"...you know why ruin got nerfed? Not just because of new survivors. It got nerfed because this game is balanced around killers getting a 2k each game not a 4k and even then, if you aren't good you're not getting a 2k. The Gen speeds are not a valid concern as yet again, the game is balanced around 2k. Increasing gen times as is almost guarantees you to be the role in favor during a trial which simply is not how it is. I also find it absolutely hilarious y'all can't do good without ruin. I've never played hag, don't even own ruin or bbq or any of the meta killer perks, I main Oni and ghostface and I usually get about 3k and that's because I let the last person live usually. You don't need ruin or a crutch perk to succeed in red ranks you just need to play survivor more and figure out how those people play so you can adjust accordingly. You're all currently blaming your lack of skill on behavior and it's ridiculous.

Cause survivors kept whining about ruin to begin with.

  • @Pulsar said:

Huntress- Hitboxes on hatchets are rly bad and when u try throw one its slows u down so if u hit that thin air on a side of wall well u getting #########. SO many times almost raged cuz of that hitboxes that i just put huntress ona bench.

Wraith- For god know why reason whenever u unstealth u stop almost in place, why ? hitting a bell and walking is to hard to put it together right ?

Spirit- fun ability in theory u have to be godskilled to use it properly and predict player movement like u would play 10k hours as well ppl go invisible for some reason what make u irritaded as ######### when u try look for scratches. And god if u dont play with pro heardset u are done u can forget u will hear anyone.

Nurse- Same as spirit super unfun ability that punish u for using it unless u spend milions of hours on game and u know exacly what distance u will go.Well if u dont u just jump once and getting stunned and then u hitting uninstal button. ppl have to lvl up nurse for one of best skills in game and i am sure most right now is just feeding her bloodpoints by playing other killers like me, i just couldnt stand this bs.

Some skills are OK-ish canibal and billy chainsaw's they fine if u dont count that 10h stun after hitting something mid skill, Pig pounce i can understand why that slow part is there.I dont have to much experience in game and thats why i decide to wrote this. Cuz i am new player and if u dont rly care of new player opinion then well as fast i started playing here i can end nothing holding me here especialy clunky unfun mechanics in skills.

So yes thats couple killers i played recently and how i feel about them if someone have other unfun killers skills to share plz write cuz i dont want step into another landmine.Thank u and i hope some devs see that.

Why isn't some things locked to certain survivors like killers? Ghost face can mark then wham one hit, Mikey stalks and one hit a bunch of folks in a timer or even kill them to boot, etc etc.. That's stupid rad that killers have such amazing bases but then survivors? I buy ash and I got a shell who's big and loud and can't hide behind claudette to save his life. Literally nothing to offer so everyone runs to claudette etc to hide out. No speed boosts, no being better at a Gen or healing or literally anything. What am I missing here other than survivors are meant to be skill based pick your favorite shell and killers are skill based but change between and have some easily no skill needed features like tombstone Mike? Why can't claudette do some amazing wonder heal or ash have some ability to kick the killer back since he's literally a dead fighter or some picking hatch locks on a timer like gens etc?

So BHVR removes the ability for solo survivors to see the ranks of who they are playing with to prevent lobby dodging.

So so let’s make it fair. Killers can no longer see survivors while in lobby. Why? Because lots of killers out there will lobby dodge if they see the same group of toxic survivors.

Or they might lobby dodge if they see the following:

    4 toolboxes

    4 blendettes with flashlights

1 key, a map and tool boxes together

multiple survivors with the same clan tag

this lobby dodging increases the wait time for everyone and should be remedied ASAP!

also take a map or simply search for the common spawning locations

    in order to counter:

    tap the gen

    run Stake out

    keep repairing

So, survivors HAVE THE PERKS TO COUNTER THE RUIN.

When I play as a killer the gens will be done quickly! It doesn't matter how cleverly / fairy you play. There is always a sneaky peaky surv who does only repairing.

    seriously.

    think about this:

-a game can basically end in 5 minutes with mori, incomparable to a key which requires generators to be progressed through (with ruin most of the time)

-this offering, which is hated by the majority of the community, has been ignored. Why? No clue. the Devs must have their ears plugged.

Just please change it! it’s getting on my last nerve, especially during rank reset where killers find the need to have it every match.

Since DS/BT are a hot topic I want to ask this question.

    please say if you’re killer main/survivor main/both...

This change (tad dif): BT is one time use again, works for the rescuer and rescued but will not work when the exit gates are powered.

The whole reason why DS-BT combo is so strong is because they’re both anti-tunnel perks that can loop-hole into abuse if used well enough together. Whereas old BT was primarily an anti-camp perk (you only needed 1 use because you’d make a late rescue intentionally, trade places and then by that time gens have popped) - atleast that was the goal.

    My argument for it:

The idea of being able to bait BT again (as it’s 1 time) is what makes me think the synergy will slowly be cut up.

You’re never really going to try to hit 2 people with endurance ready (that 15 seconds), just one of them unless you’re leatherface (multi-hit)... if a killer tries to tunnel a person off a hook the rescuer can still body block to take a hit. If you plan not to tunnel then there’s waiting 15 seconds.

I think other changes might be necessary with BT/DS... like a timer given to the killer counting to 60 so you know as the killer when endurance has ended and when DS has ended on a survivor.

I’m not saying these exact changes should make it through but whether people agree with the concept or not.

Edit: I also want to add that the bodyblocking mechanics have changed since when Old BT was a thing... it wouldn’t be as effective to block paths with the killer like back then.

    Both: go back

free escapes that are not fun at all, no counterplay just forces the killer to bring an Ebony or at least an ibory to have fun. and i dont get fun and i know either them gets fun when they get killed out of hook. keys to escape shouldnt exist, to give them certain info ok, (its not ok actually but acceptable) but free escapes man? is too much, and survivor uses keys way more than killer moris for sure (at least in red ranks) no fun at all, and tey wont get fun either cause the killer is gonna sweat the asss with an ebony, and in the end no one gets what they want.

I agree. However to avoid a total uproar. I say if you use a key to escape the hatch closes on your way out. Preventing others from using it

I'm sure it's a bug, I couldnt see them nerfing one of the if not the weakest killers. buuuut I've been wrong before

    Weakest???

Played a game as Pig for the first time. It took me about half of the match to figure out why her ambush kind of sucked. (I didn't hold the attack down so I just swung in place and looked like an idiot) So I was like okay w/e learning experience. Got a couple of them close to death hook, because they were incredibly altruistic, but in the end everyone got out due to my earlier screw ups. Might've gotten 1-2 if I hadn't mis-used her ambush ability. No big deal to me. For every 4K you gotta have some games where it's 0. Anyway I'm met with this onslaught of verbal abuse at the end. What's their deal? They won. It's not like I camped, or tunneled. They didn't even accuse me of anything that survivors don't like. They just wanted to let me know how ######### they thought I was. I know I'm not that good, that's why my highest rank so far is 9. And I've only got roughly under 200hrs total play time. (and I'd bet 20% of that is me just leaving the game open accidentally for extended periods of time)

Anyway I reported them, and wanted to share this here. Names crossed out ofc. Is there anywhere else I can report this so that I can make sure people like this get some sort of punishment?

    Thanks.

Especially when pig is one of the least used killers for a reason.

Weird situation happened in game, and people called me out for camping. I don't really think I was, but let me explain.

Was running Pig on Lery's with Amanda's Letter and Video Tape addons, perks were BBQ&C, PGTW, Ruin, and Spies (this is the important one), and I'm in purple ranks. After the game's been going on for a bit, I hooked Survivor 1. Survivors 2 and 3 were injured, and Survivor 4 was healthy. As I'm about to leave the hook, I get Spies going off in a line- someone's coming to the hook. I think its the healthy guy, so I hide and crouch so I can trade him for the hooked survivor. I hear him coming, see his aura, ambush... its one of the injured survivors, and he goes down. Lucky me!

As my ambush cooldown ends, Spies goes off AGAIN in another direction- "This has to be the healthy guy, no way these survivors are that dumb." I hide again, hear him, see the aura and ambush... ITS THE SECOND INJURED GUY! I'm laughing my butt off, but then...

Spies goes off AGAIN. I couldn't believe it- this guy just saw me down 2 people next to the hooked survivor, and he's rushing the hook! So for the third time- hide, crouch, hear, aura, ambush, and hit the last guy- he's injured now. Instead of unhooking or healing one of the two downed guys, he runs to a pallet! After a dozen seconds or so of looping, I down him. Now the hooked guy just died, and I have three downed survivors.

With BBQ and Amanda's Letter, I found them quickly and hooked them. As they all died, I figured matchmaking put me with green or yellow ranks... but nope! They were all purple, and the hooked guy was red! They were super salty, calling me a camper- it was great! But honestly, they never gave me a chance to leave- they rushed the hook one by one, ignoring how the others got ambushed, and never went to heal or unhook. I'm not camping if happens, right?

TL;DR Survivors rushed the hook one by one w/o healing each other, so I downed them one by one. I knew they were coming cause of Amanda's Letter and Spies from the Shadows.

    Not at all

    Freddy-

Freddy has no counter-play for any of his powers. You cannot interact with any of his powers in order to give Survivors a way to counter his abilities. When Freddy uses his dream snares he has no cool down or slowdown when putting them down. This almost always guarantees a free hit or down when trying to loop him. Also if you choose o disable the snares he gets a notification and can put them down again immediately. Then with his Dream Pallets, survivors can put them down, although similar to his snares he can put them back up almost immediately. While as a survivor you can remember where real pallets are, this is a unrealistic expectation for an entire team to do. Ways to provide counter play for survivors would be to give a cool down on his abilities for 20 seconds for each use. Also for his teleport make to so he has to commit to teleporting it and can't cancel it, giving survivors more options for counter-play. Another option for counter-play would be taking out the timer for the dream state and make Freddy have to manually put survivors into it. This would give survivors ways to counter his Swing Chains add-ons. Also a small quality of life change would be when survivors are put into the dream state and miss skill checks to wake themselves up, Freddy doesn't gain a notification, this would give survivor play styles more options for counter-play while still punishing them for failing.

    Ghostface-

Ghostface and his Night Shroud ability is one of the best stealth abilities in the game, with no down sides. He has power creeped almost every other stealth killer in the game. He also has no down side when being broken out of his ability. Also with the broken reveal mechanic with his power when he leans around a corner makes him uncounterable. Ways to give survivors a counter to his power would be to make the reveal mechanic actually work when a survivor looks at him. Also since he has no warning before he strikes unlike Wraith they should either give Ghostface a warning sound or something before he attacks or give him 110% movement speed. Also another quality of life change would to give his addons that give his power a faster recharge rate a slight nerf.
