As the title says, Unknown's UVX will bounce off of invisible debris in the map, mostly noticed around picnic tables. Very frustrating to try and make a shot over a table only for it to bounce back at you instead of your target. I mean. It's a double edged sword right? I see it from both perspectives. Perspective 1, it ruins the game or at least hinders the game for the others. They just buffed the transphobic people that have been tunneling Orela. My sister and I were playing and she got the "going next" penalty and lost a survivor grade after being tunneled and dying early from a transphobic player. Only took 3 matches for issues to appear. The audio direction is bugged. The hitching problem is exactly the same if not worse. I can run a heavily modded Skyrim SE with next-gen graphics more smoothly than Dead by Daylight, which has enormous stutters where the game pauses for an entire second. Every time you level up in the bloodweb now, a giant wet SPLAT sound plays that is way louder than any other SFX in the bloodweb. I can definitely say that tunnelling is problematic for survivors that are always crying about it and how unfun it is for them making the game way more miserable. There's another end of the stick and that's killer's POV. Many weak killers just HAVE TO tunnel in order to win the game. I've collected some ideas why that is the case: 1. The past 3 killers in a row have been absolutely pathetic in terms of scoring deviousness. Houndmaster takes so many actions that don't give any score, and the few she does score from either doubled up on extra brutality or gave a woeful 100 points on launch. The new map is phenomenal, easily one of my favorites in the game by far. The art team did an amazing job and knocked it out of the park, and the inside has some very fun loops/mindgame potential. I do have one tiny thing that was bugging me about it, however. For a building with lots of verticality, not a single spot has enough height to trigger Balanced Landing! They made it that you can attempt to unhook when there are only 2 survivors left but it does not seem they took into account someone getting hooked in the struggle phase with only one other survivor left. At that point you are not able to miss your skill checks to die faster and allow for possible hatch escape. I went into my Statistics (Track State), and I found something that made me curious. I’ve played this game for a total of 5,819.4 hours. But when I look at my Track State, across all Killers and Survivors, the combined hours only add up to around 1,500. So where did the remaining 4,319.4 hours go? On the offical DBD Stats website, it seems that my stats are tracked only POST-Account Merging when it was introduced. For example, my Cenobite matches say 10 when they were my main and definetley have played more than 10 matches with them. SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Either entering or exiting the new doorway mechanic that comes with The Animatronic your audio can bug out and become extremely distorted or just changes from how audio in game normally functions, I'm not sure if it's an issue caused by the mechanic of the killer or if it only happens on the new map while paired with the animatronic. The main building on the new map has several insane loops BACK TO BACK, and on top of that double pallets all around it. This map encourages letting main fall, and camping forest. M1 killers especially have to make 50% guesses for many loops, and back to back??? That is entirely ignoring strong runner combos like lithe and the lara croft rushed vault perk.
