It does. I disagree with the basement idea cause there isn't much you can do against agitation, iron grasps, mad grit builds then.
See this is one of the problems with this community, someone disagrees and it’s the lame “survivor main” “killer main” nonsense.
dude, if all your games as killer end up with the exit gate open and 4 survivors still alive, the problem isn't the BT, or the gates, or the haste effect.
looking at your comment history, you let your survivors escape, lowering your mmr. thats why you have 0 struggle, youre not playing at the right level for where youre meant to be
How is it fair to give a free escape? I get the argument for survivor but it's not like the killer shouldn't get a chance during endgame, otherwise the game would end after the last gen.

Who said all 4? Just 3 survivors is enough. If you think you can get 2 kills before endgame as some of the weaker killers then idk what to say.
If all four survivors make it to endgame collapse before you're able to get a hook, or potentially a kill, then perhaps you've played poorly as killer. I can't think of a scenario where, in this heavy gen regression META, with the QoL buffs killers have received, anyone should be sweating during the endgame for a single killer.
It sounds nice, but I didn't notice any mention of the perk itself. Does this mean you get 20 seconds of endurance & haste? Seems a little too strong now if that's the case 15 seconds was very strong already.
It won't solve issues with soloq
you cant. its endgame. you hit someone, they w key out the gates, regardless who it is. if you down them and hook them, a healthy survivor is gonna force you to hit them, then w key out, and during weapon wipe another will get the unhook, youll hit them and thats 4 out. you cannot play normally when the game is over
I do it NOW, after the last patch, cause sometimes I pity them. I got 2 hooks on all of them before they can even finish the 3rd gen.

And if there is 3 survivors and 1 is hooked then what? You can't get the unhooker cause they can just run after getting hit and the other survivor can just unhook, still be healthy to bodyblock and the unhooked is 10% faster. The only way you can go for the first person if the hooked person is far from the exit gate. This isn't even including exhaustion perks.
I'm not saying that killers should get kills at endgame, I'm saying why should survivors be entitled to an escape at endgame. It's literally the same thing just on the other side.

how does that change anything I said? The problem is still with your gameplay, just go check some streamers or something, they're doing pretty good with this patch, the devs even said that in their numbers this change was NEEDED.

regardless of who the killer is, face camp is strong in any killer, as you can easily grab the unhooker in action.

i guess bodyblocking doesnt happen XD sorry but as a huntress player if i miss my hatchet at basement i will just bodyblock them and hit them and if i deem necessary i will just slug the unhooked and, welp 10 seconds would mean i have to play smarter XD that 5 seconds was nothing and 7 definitely isnt if you get bodyblocked

10 isnt anything if you get bodyblocked either by the same logic, plus huntress is one of very few killers capable of chewing through the endurance and getting the down without much hassle
Nothing will make you people happy short of ten minute invincibility after being unhooked. Jesus Christ. They doubled the effect. You can outrun 110%ms killers.

Devs gutted DS, OTR at the endgame. 5 secs of BT at the endgame is literally nothing.
No one complaint about pre nerf DS and they changed it anyway. Imagine if you had to deal with that also.
exactly but 10 is better than 7, any killer who wants the down will body block, thats the point. if 10 sec isnt much then why make it 7?
Honestly... I can see this actually leading to more tunneling. Often it happens that unhooks happen with the killer nearby and the recently unhooked bodyblocks for the rescuer. How often do killers go "Well screw it, I'm just gonna tunnel you hard then!"

People definitely complained about pre nerf DS. I thought it was only stupid for endgame cause it was literally a free escape but the stun I don't understand why they nerfed it at all. Also what does me having to deal with the ds nerf have to do with anything?

Legion getting a survivor downed within 10 seconds of them being unhooked? he would have to have 3 hits and be in frenzy pretty much breathing onto the unhookers neck then double hit the survivor that got unhooked to down them.

Your making a huge assumption that I even play trapper.
Not only is that occurance scarily common in solo queue, but it is still a way for them to deal with it. Especially considering the Never Sleep Pills + Julie's (???) Mixtape combo that, after 2 stabs, lets you zip around the map with ease.

its mural sketch. julies tape is the stun refills power addon. but that is unreliable for downing survivors off hook (you need 2 hits, then to make it to the hook before running out of power, then getting unhooker and unhookee, and i wouldnt consider that a way to consistently down survivors fresh off the hook

why did you bring trapper at all then?
we were talking about game changes that were needed and you didn't like them and used the example of a struggling trapper that went into the end game with 3 survivors alive on cowshed, making it seem like that's how most games end up. You just don't wanna accept that you might be wrong.

And again, I mainly included Legion because while situational, this is mostly in-place to help out solos because SWF will just play with good people who'll actually use BT instead of the joys of randoms. And given the state of solo matchmaking since 6.1.0, we need all the help we can get on that front, and since solo isn't entirely extinct I included Leg.
The solution to that is to buff Trapper and any other weaker Killer; not nerf basekit BT.
the solution is fix map balance, and see where the killers lie after that. if killers win chases quicker than survivors do gens, we wont need to tunnel anymore, and everyones happy. fun interactive gameplay
How can you when the unhooked will body block the one that did the unhook. A Body blocking survivor tells me you are ready to get back into the game, so deal with the consequences.
That being said I think this change is good and will help some, but it will punish the killers that are trying to play "nice" and go fo the one that went for the unsafe unhook.
The survival rates must have seriously dropped for them to buff the basekit BT because I remember peanits saying anything more than 5 seconds was too strong in their internal testing.
The buff won't do anything to combat tunneling.
OTR grants 80 seconds of Endurance, which clearly wasn't enough to combat tunneling. I'm not sure why people think 5 more seconds of basekit BT will bring about meaningful change.
Frankly, I'm insulted by the change.
I think it's a good change overall
110% movement speed means 115 killers catch 66% slower and 110 killers won't catch up at all
Will also prevent base Bubba from downing both survivors probably.
I still want to see people with endurance lose collision though
