Not the game itself, but I've already put in a request to refund the Hellraiser chapter.
Probably won't get anything from it, but I figure it's worth trying regardless.

I don't understand why so many people are mad at the fact that Trickster doesn't look like a killer. THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT! He's meant to look like your average K-pop star, who doesn't look like he'd hurt anybody on purpose. He's SUPPOSED to lead a double life. Hell, there are some people who get SO CLOSE to getting it, but just miss it.
Not every killer has to look like they just unburied themselves, FFS.
I don't really get the whole "he doesn't look like a horror character!" thing either. I'll concede his actual character is really generic and a bit poorly written (although there are genuinely cool aspects to his lore), but appearance-wise, he works perfectly as BHVR's take on beauty horror.

I think Blight's power is great conceptually imo. Despite coming from the same being, Talbot Grimes and The Blight are two incredibly different people. The Blight is a direct manifestation of Talbot's addiction to his own ambition, the result of him being willing to turn himself into a frenzied monstrosity (which is really all we've ever been shown of the pustula serum's effects) and participate in the Entity's Trials in exchange for more serum. However, despite his monstrous form, he's ultimately still a normal human that has not been affected by the Entity in any physical capacity. It makes sense that his capabilities while completely under complete control of the pustula serum would simply be to go into a mad frenzy while still retaining his intelligence and cognitive ability. It's a direct physical display of the lengths he's willing to go to satisfy his own ambition; he's ironically willing to give up his humanity and turn himself into an almost feral beast hunting down his fellow man in exchange for what he perceives to be the key to advancing humanity.
The Twins' power fits their bond perfectly as well imo. They both serve as two separate components (Charlotte as a sentry and Victor as a scout) of a larger hunter, emphasizing how they work in tandem to pursue their prey.
I half-agree with The Trickster's power being unfitting, but I feel like the situation here is reversed. Ji-Woon's power is fine, as he would perform knife tricks both as a child for his father's restaurant and on-stage for thousands of adoring fans. However, the name "The Trickster" just innately doesn't suit the power. No matter what lore explanation is given, people are going to expect a Killer called "The Trickster" to involve deceiving other players. "The Idol" or "The Entertainer" would suit him far better imo. Additionally, if they really wanted to tie his name into his lore more than his power, simply "The Dokkaebi" would also work, since his stage name is directly inspired by the dokkaebis of Korean folklore.

I thought they are at point where some of the franchises are reaching themselves to BHVR for a possible colaboration right? I thought they were going to do 50/50 with licensed and original ones this year as they stated sometime last year. I can't lie im a little disappointed by this, and i know anniversary will bring some big licence for sure but like... i don't know, just wanted to rant i guess.
Love it and I kinda hope they stick to this model. I always find BHVR's original characters far more interesting than most licensed characters, and I would love for licensed chapters to be more of an anniversary celebration ordeal to make them feel a bit more special.
-
its been in everyone's inventory for the past chapter or so, i'm not sure why exactly
-
I would honestly do the opposite. The ability to quickscope is what makes The Deathsligner effective in any way, but his ability to zone you out for free is what makes him a tad problematic imo. I think there should be a slowdown when lowering the Redeemer to reduce the free mindgames he gets mid-chase.

Wait, can't you only buy them with bloodpoints or something?
You can only buy Rift skins based off community creations (i.e. Elephant Clown, NSS Legion) for Iridescent Shards. All original skins from the Rift are priced to BHVR's discretion. Blighted Nurse is only available with Auric Cells, but the recent 4 skins from the first Rift are available for either Cells or Shards.

I have made a post about this before and now i have to go back to it again.
But why are the realising cosmetics from battlepass 1. I see this as just a easy money grab from work that's been done before. Arent the battlepass meant for grind for limited edition skins. It's such a stupid topic to pick up to becuse the people who werent there can be happy to buy them, but the people who grinded just get more and more shut down.
I feel like today when you see a really good skin or cosumetic its not that cool anymore, you can just buy it. The ondly real flex today is the Legasy. Everthing else is eather realised for free or bought in the shop.
But hey, at least we keeps our charms, ffs
BHVR has been extremely open about Rift cosmetics eventually becoming available in the shop since they first implemented the Rift. Not anyone else's fault you didn't bother to be more aware of that.

The Game is wonderful in terms of visual design, I just can't see anything because the map is so damn dark now lol
Crotus Penn is probably my favorite of the map reworks yet

If I had a dollar for every time someone said this after any DLC release, patch, or midchapter, I could probably pay off my student debt before I even get out of uni.

You are paying a membership fee to have access to games without purchasing them. If you paid $180 to play one game you could've bought for $30 that's a bad decision on your part. If you paid $180 to play multiple games that would've totaled to over $180 had you bought them all then you are essentially playing games for free. I spend $60 on ps+, dbd was included one month for free - I don't consider I paid for the game because I pay for ps+.
Well now that 12 Month Gold has been discontinued, I'm really paying $120 a year plus the $30 price tag since DBD is an online-only game. But that's not the point. You gave the Game Pass and PS+ as an example of the game itself being free. With PS+, the game was offered for free on top of the $60/year price tag that you pay to access online, which is a necessity to even play the game due to its online nature. I'm saying that Game Pass isn't exactly equivalent to PS+ offering it for free, as you need Game Pass Ultimate if you want to have the Game Pass subscription alongside the ability to access online play.
PS+ is something the majority of PS Network users have, as it allows you to access major components of titles you own, so the game could practically be considered free there. Game Pass Ultimate allows you to access it alongside other titles, but is considerably worse since if you just want the game, it costs more than to simply purchase it and online access separately.
All this is relevant only to the hypothetical question of DBD alone being F2P, so I'm saying that Game Pass Ultimate isn't exactly the same sort of "free" as PS+ offering the game for free.

There's three other survivors in the game, aren't there?

I don't see there a problem.
Delete dw, since it annoys survivors anyways and give him the abilitie back to stab multiple times in frenzy, still with all the nerfs that the Legion has today on it.
And vola - problem solved.
Not optimal, but the best old Legion mains can get and survivors whould not need to play mending simulator anymore. That's a win-win-situation for everyone.
uh, what
what's the point of multiple stabs if deep wounds is gone?

Isn't it already free for Xbox game pass?
PS4 had it for free couple years ago with ps+.
I guess free on pc is different than free on console if there's an increased concern for hackers.
"free for Xbox game pass"
$180 a year is a funny definition of free

It's mentioned in the patch notes, but switching killers while queuing is disabled in preparation for the upcoming matchmaking system. You'll have a separate rating for each killer, so you'll be locked to the killer you have selected when you start queuing.
Is the separate rating system active on Xbox where the new MMR system is being tested?

Okay, and as someone who mains Killer, I don't wanna play a Killer whose power can just be rendered useless if the survivors are on comms.

It's in a really weird spot imo because it's too powerful to be a normal perk but doesn't feel strong enough to be a Hex perk.

If that's your issue with it, wouldn't a more elegant solution be to disable DS when you touch a generator? Then you don't have to worry about moonwalking to cheese the mechanics about it, it just straight up disables the second you decide, "I'm not getting tunneled, I'm putting myself back in the game."
That's the solution most people have been asking for for a while (along with it disabling upon entering a locker), but we have yet to hear anything regarding consideration of changes to the perk.

Springtrap is the actual antagonist of that franchise. Within that game's universe, there are certain prototype animatronic suits in which the actual metallic endoskeleton of the animatronic can be compressed and held back by fragile spring locks in order to allow a human to wear the suit like a mascot costume. However, any sort of quick or jolty movement could cause the spring locks to release and the person inside would basically be impaled by an entire metal skeleton.
The games revolve around a series of child murders being committed at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and the souls of the victims of these murders possess the animatronics within the pizzeria. At some point before the third game, the murderer (who is at this point wracked with psychosis AND paranoia) returns to the pizzeria after it has closed down in order to destroy the abandoned animatronics himself. Things go wrong for him, and the ghosts of his victims appear and start terrorizing him. He hides in one of the aforementioned prototype suits, presumably in an effort to mock the dead as a result of his psychosis. As he laughs at the ghosts, the spring locks come lose, and he is killed inside the suit, eventually coming to possess it himself.
TL;DR - Springtrap makes more sense thematically since the other animatronics are the spirits of children simply misguided by their anger towards the man that killed them. Springtrap is the series antagonist and takes joy in torturing and murdering his victims.

I think 1 minute is fair. It could be worse it could be 2 minutes
60 seconds is longer than it takes two survivors to do an entire gen from start to finish with no perks or items. It's only 20 seconds shorter than the time it takes one survivor to do an entire gen from start to finish with no perks or items.
That's too long.
-
I love him and really do think he's not the worst Killer in the game anymore. It's surprising how much that of a difference that tiny change makes.
I don't think he's good, but I don't think he's at the bottom anymore. Probably on par with Trapper or Wraith.

Yet killers can just AFK once they get the crown and deny the survivors of any actual gamelplay or facecamp survivors who found a crown if they feel like being toxic. Killer's should be prevented from ruining the event just as much as survivors. it's not as if killers are pure angels who can do no harm...
If Killers AFK after getting the crown, that's literally a pass for survivors to get their own crown and leave

its inexcusable really. its probably goes down somewhere along the lines of, "gotta get this new chapter out, we'll patch it out in a hotfix in 2 weeks".
It really is. Like, there's a lot of bugs I usually excuse because I know development can be stressful and often more difficult than we tend to think, but this bug so heavily affects something that is so crucial to an entire side of the game even having the ability to play that it's inconceivable how it managed to get past the devs.
-
If you actually watch the video, the main reason he's taking a break from Killer is that survivors make almost zero noise now for some reason.
-
I think it's mainly the disparity between repair times.
It's really strange that one survivor takes a little over 80 seconds to do a gen start to finish with no perks or items, but two survivors with no perks or items almost split that time in half at 47 seconds.

He won't need to use his power if you don't heal? The same argument for Plague is also stupid. Like it's taking half the time to kill you lol.
That's why you spread out. If you're in anyway decent at looping, you can keep Legion going for a good bit while your teammates knock out the objective.
It's heavily dependent on the map, but there are a good amount of maps large enough to give Legion issues with this strat.

I've seen quite a few people being upset about linked cosmetics.Especially about Lisa Garland.
It seems like many people expected her to be a bit more than just a skin. Some expected a different voice, different animation or maybe a bit lore to her regarding the price.
Considering we never had any of those problems with the skins for other licensed characters,it might be possible that Konami didn't allow things like extra lore, voice acting and animations.
Another thing we have to keep in mind is that Lisa was probably another license that had to be bought first.Which is why the price is so high for that skin, they probably get something like 2 thirds and Konami the other third of the money they get with selling this skin.
Even if the devs were allowed to do animations, lore and voice acting for Lisa then the price would be probably even higher because of the amount of extra work they would have to do.
It also doesn't really feel like false advertising because one could clearly see that Lisa IS just a skin for Cheryl in their latest trailer.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/G24O6KQNCIRA/screenshot-20200617-164247.png
So in the end i would advise all of you to be patient and wait for a response from the devs, before calling them lazy, greedy etc.
The Lisa and Robbie Rabbit skins are fine, as they're what linked sets SHOULD be. The issue with linked sets is ones like all of Cheryl's (excluding Lisa) and The Executioner's. There is zero reason that those shouldn't be able to be mixed and matched with other cosmetics.

How is he difficult to down people with his power? You build for M1 attacks then take off a health state with FF.
He only suffers from what every other killer suffers from. Loops and swf teams.
That's why the most optimal way of playing against Legion is not healing and spreading out. Not healing makes his power useless and turns him into an M1 killer. Spreading out makes it difficult to reach survivors, since he can't chase them with Frenzy or else he'll lose a ton of distance because of the stun animation.
Not to mention that without certain add-ons, spreading out will stop Legion from detecting you via Killer Instinct.
-
The cooldown is literally longer than Legion's Frenzy stun, which is longer than a pallet stun, so you're objectively wrong there.
His ranged attack is honestly the easiest thing to avoid. The only time it'll hit you is if he guesses that you're gonna vault or pull down a pallet.

Or rework them? They can't give information. The phrase is really ambiguous.
They honestly wouldn't have worded it as "this Killer sits directly in the middle" if they weren't implying that they think Legion is balanced enough for them not to be higher up on the list of priorities. Especially when they specify that it's consistent across all ranks and maps.

I hope it’s intended. I hate going after somebody bum rushing the hook, only to hit the hooked survivor instead
This didn't change, just had this happen to me.
-
It's intentional. Perks that affect Hooks, both for Killers and Survivors, do not affect Cages.
-
Mainly because nobody who hasn't played Silent Hill would recognize Claudia.
Pyramid Head is far more iconic and thus more likely to sell.
-
You shouldn't be able to flashlight blind Killers while they're picking up a survivor and still have it force them to drop a survivor.
It's annoying af to down a survivor in the open and then have no wall or object to look at to avoid the stun. You have to bait out the survivor with a flashlight which can lead to the downed survivor either being revived or using Unbreakable. It makes it feel like there's no counter play outside of running Franklin's.

When I look at the average number of kills for Legion, it's right in the middle. They're not the best, they're not the worst. This is across all maps, all ranks. That's as much detail as I can go into on this.
