    +1 to this.

1 mori every 50 games seems pretty close to what I see which is hardly even an issue to notice. I've also won plenty of games that a mori was thrown.

I know you don't believe that but I understand, moris will get nurfed soon and I expect I will see a post from you.

  • This is a bug please report it in the bugs section so BHVR can finally see it and fix it after it being around for several months.

No bloodpoints, no devotion, no rank progress, nothing. All because the killer couldn't take a loss and disconnected. When will this problem of losing our progress be fixed?

You try to stick around, click your flashlights, and teabag, you should accept the consequences of not escaping when you should have.

This is inspired by a Steve and Claudette who stayed to bm, triggered my tier 3, and the Steve miscalculated the distance from the edge and I picked him up - when he promptly disconnected lol. Pathetic classic survivors - they can dish it out but little toddlers can take it better than they can! Still would be nice if there was a mechanic that punished both of them for their bad manners.

What a salt fest of a post this is.

Recovering from a dying state should count towards wiggle meter weather it’s a perk or standard feature I don’t care it’s just annoying as can be when the wiggling and recovering already takes forever and you make so much progress just for it to amount to nothing. The killers already enough advantages as is so I doubt this would even change much.

I don't see your point here, there's already a perk that counts towards wiggle meter it's called flip flop an Ash teachable.

I really don't see an issue with it. If you get downed and Adrenaline pops you into a deep wounds state or you use Unbreakable/Deliverance then get hit into deep wounds. What's the real difference from being injured and having deep wounds if you're being tunneled or focused?

Deliverance already gives you broken status effect what more do you want? Unbreakable is a 1 time use perk unless you've got someone to heal you your points are silly if I'm being honest this would be a severe biase towards killers would ruin the fun of survivors as a whole. Im glad your sharing your thoughts but there bad for the game tbh.

  • @akbays35 said:

As both a killer and survivor (30/70) I really think they should balance these perks and item usage as a status ailment that never goes away or can be reactivated. I also think that Adrenaline, DS, Deliverance, and Unbreakable should be included with this. Essentially when a survivor uses these perks it puts them into a potential deep wound status effect with Endurance and they can't have Endurance effects stacked. The Devs want more perk diversity and they want to balance the game more fairly for killers and this seems like a suitable solution and that SWF and solo players will have to pick and choose what to bring. I also think Adrenaline should just be reworked to not have the overall healing effect and just apply endurance for 10-20 seconds or deep wounds if in the dying state (this would also benefit survivors who could bait a hit). This wouldn't affect the overall uses of these perks except a buff to Unbreakable and Deliverance and a gimp to every other perk.

You my friend must be affected by tier 3 madness. LOL "deep wound effect" .

The original person I quoted said Ruin would only get buffed because some people are sore loser. he implied that Ruin is used by people who need to win, so I pointed out all the second chance perks Survivors get while he's complaining about ONE Killer perk.

Now granted: NoED is also a second chance perk; it's a second chance to down a number of Survivors (depending on Killer skill). I will mention this in all fairness.

Clearly said people who call for ruin to be buffed are sore losers but OK boy.

Again that's not actually the case... look at how many newer players hate the doctor, how many threads there are for NOED... and then how many threads there are for gen times... before spirit countless threads of hate towards Billy... it's not majority rules.... BHVR has to take into consideration of something else before making a decision.... nearly 3 years before nurse was touched and look how many people whined about her.

Of course the devs take everything into consideration but my point is if the spirit is nurfed it's from the community as a whole not just a particular group. Regardless of the time frame if something gets nurfed or buffed by BHVR it's justified.

  • @FrenziedRoach said:

It's just a reflection of how people are when they take down the social masks.

Many of them are just weak and insecure - and use tearing down others as a way to justify their meager existance. For others, it's a matter of they lack any self-awareness or reflection and are unable to let go of their own bias.

I feel a lot of it is deflection from their own flaws in order to protect the Ego - which is a mistake as far as I'm concerned.

I'm willing to admit I'm far from perfect, often falling prey to snark and sarcasm when I feel people are being less than intelligent.

For me, the path to salvation is a 3 step process of guiding me away from that behavior

Step One - If you feel unable to control yourself or just not in the right mindset to be non-toxic, turn off the game. In fact, loading it up at all when you know you're not in the right mindset would be a mistake.

Second Step was repeating to myself that I have no control over what others do in a game. Instead of getting upset about how people play, I should work toward just beating them. If I can't, I don't deserve the win. And if I'm not willing to resort to any tactic allowed by the game to do so, I have no right to complain that I can't keep up. This step I've more or less mastered.

Third Step (and Alas, this one I fail at often, it's a work in progress) is trying very hard to live by the creed "I have a right to complain about how others play when I myself am perfect - ergo until I play perfectly, I should not complain how others play". I force myself (even when pissed off) to ask myself "What could I have done differently?" this means no matter how badly my team or situation was, I do my best to not use it as an excuse. I reflect on the game and look for something I could of done differently - some flaw in my execution. And 100% of the time, I always remember something I should of done differently. Reflecting that I made a mistake in that game, I no longer have a right to complain about how another players played

I feel that instead of feeding the toxicity, people just focused first on cleaning up their own act - we'd all be better for it. I'm doing my damndest over here myself - I can only hope others will do the same.

How long did you spend typing all this

The majority plays survivor, 4v1 remember? As survivor you shouldn't be able to 1v1 a killer and win because your a skilled player, what I mean is even the best hillbilly in the world will still lose against even somewhat good survivors, as spirit you can win chases even against the best is you make a correct play, if they slam you with a pallet and run you are a 110 killer that for 5 seconds is 176, she has potential to be countered, the trick isnt looping however.

You have to stay uninjured for as long as possible with iron will, you have to make her question where you are. Every killer in the game has the same counter as well, rushing the insane gen speed as killer it's a nightmare to see 3 survivors in separate gens, if you go after one you lose 2 if you go after one then to the next they get back one and you lose 2 gens. She will eventually down you but even a minute chase could be a gen or 2 out of 5, the killer needs 12 - 10 hooks. So please explain how she is unfun when she has counters? Oh wait its because you cant loop her for 5 gens just by looking at her right?

    Stop waffling.

I really wouldnt say that it's a vast majority that feel shes unfun.... every poll, post that comes up about her seems to end near 50/50..

Its nowhere near old legion where it was like 99.9% of the forumns saying that Legion is awful..

I guess but if there is a nurf in the future then we will know that the vast majority of players called for it because developers don't just wake up one day and be like I'm going to nurf this to annoy killers.

  • @SpookyJeff said:

Do you guys realize how unfun a lot of survivor builds are to face? I don't think centering balance around a nebulous concept like "fun" is a good idea in any game. I personally like close matches and feeling like the win or loss could come at any moment. It seems a lot, however, base fun on escaping a majority of the time and winning as frequently as possible. That's fine, but a crazy thing to try to balance around it being "fun" when that can only mean survivors win.

I enjoy facing Spirit myself, just like I enjoyed facing Nurses pre-nerf. Yeah it's a challenge, but I want the challenge and most other killers can't provide that without the rest of my team throwing and being potatoes. I like matches where all four of us are solid players and the killer is viable enough to still make it a game. Take away Spirit and then Freddy/Billy are top tier, both of whom people want to nerf as well. I don't really worry about 80% of the killer roster when I'm playing survivor, and taking the few that do provide a good match will kill the game.

"fun" is what the casual or average player looks for it dosent matter what you individually look for in the game as a singular entity, it is about what the majority want not the minority and if that's a spirit nurf then it's because it was decided by a larger group of people because at the end of the day the game is a business.

  • And that's fine that's your opinion however the reason for the nurfs would be the vast majority of players do not find her fun to play against.

  • @rd_dex said:

It would be nice if people stopped with these kinds of discussions. If you don't have an idea for a change to something don't cry about nerfs just for sake of it.

Dear Behaviour Interactive, i am writing to you to hopefully convince you that keyboard and mouse compatibility for the Xbox And PS4 should be hopefully implemented or atleast considered. In addition i will talk a little bit about cross platform and how it could benefit players. First of all i'd like to talk about keyboard and mouse compatibility, i believe that it is in more demand than what you know off because most people that want this and play on console are not aware of your website and the forums. In addition i personally have put alot of time into my console account and i would love to be able to switch to PC but still keep all of my progress, which would be possible if cross platform was enabled. Another reason why cross platform would be great is matchmaking would be alot better, for example when finding a match as survivor you are often put with higher ranks if you are a lower player. I believe this greatly affects gameplay as you could have 3 rank eight players and one level 10+ level and the level eights would be at a great disadvantage compared to 4 rank eights. Cross platform would help stop this as there would be more peope playing the game therefore the rank the 3 rank eights are more likely to get a higher ranked player.

If you want to play with mouse and keyboard play on pc.

  • @xRem said:

So it unfun to play against spirit because you guess and maybe you’ll survive and have a chance to mindgame her, a good nurse does not predict, she blinks and then reacts to what you do, you don't have much chance to mindgame her or outrun her, a base no addons spirit is 176 and maybe a decimal in speed for 5 seconds and has a 15-20 second cooldown based on how much of her power she used. against a good spirit you have a chance if you understand what she thinks you'll do, against a nurse shell blink and react to you, leaving even littler room for counter play, the interaction is get hit then die. Against spirit if you don't have iron will you try to make sure that you stay uninjured for as long as possible and delay her, you will eventually go down because she's a good killer but if your on an optimal team and make chases last 80 seconds or more the killer loses 3 gens and if you die in 30 the killer can pressure one gen and still lose 2, at that rate if your playing well and pressuring gens everyone can escape, because survivors are given 5 objectives that take 80 seconds while killers are given 12-10 objectives they have to do that you don't even have to save for 45 seconds giving survivors even more gen time. My point in all this is, if spirit is broken then why do people lose? Go look at the twitch channel space esports, they do weekly tournaments where spirits with thousands of hours have a 5 minute game because the survivors play optimally and rush gens while understanding how to go against spirit so chases last even just a minute, even 60 seconds can cost the killer the game, so until a killer doesn't have to play spirit or run forever freddy to have more than a 5 minute game against a good team i don't think spirit should be touched, unless it's deleting prayer beads.

She's not fun to play against.

I would like it if MoM required 3 different events to activate.

    1.) protection hit

    1.) pallet stun

    1.) safe unhook

I feel like that would be fair to both killer and survivor. Requiring 3 protection hits is the equivalent of deleting it from the game since it is so unusable.

This is a good idea tbh seems balanced although they would have to put it back to only being able to earn it once per game.

  • The original looks better sorry to say if you do did get banned for this it would not be worth it in the slightest.

I know of this bug, though I haven’t had it happen to me recently since I don’t see killers DC’ing as often as I do survivors, though this bug has been around a LOT longer than a few weeks. It’s been here for around two years at this point. I’ve reported it on several occasions and it even got fixed temporarily but broke again the patch that came after the fix. You can try reporting it as a bug, though at this point I sincerely doubt much will be done about it. Annoying when it happens, especially when point offerings are in play, but not much you can do about it since it can happen at any point in the game entirely at the killer’s disposal.

I agree but the reason I say several weeks is because it's never been this bad where you exit the game and if the killer dc's even when your in the exit you lose everything. It's an awful bug and Devs will keep pumping out content without adressing it properly.

    Hello,

Why when the killer rages quit, have received a message saying that have more connection, return menu, have lost all object and lose a point of rank? it's normal ? the killers are the favorie, of the kind it is our fault if the killer is a child who rages? it's not the first time it's done to me at this time, before yours update there was not this problem, the players (killers) purposely shut down the application or cut their internet connection to annoy the survivors.

So I would like to know why this benefit to the killer? why the killer can report the survivor who disconnect and when it is the killer who disconnect we can not report?

and I would like to know also why we survivors when a teammate disconnects from the game, we have not so flexibility on our rank? it is not the killer who must be rewarded for a disconnection but the survivors! who finds 3 Vs 1

One more things the killers rage quit when the survivors come out the door, the killer disconnect so that the survivors not their points, is it normal too?

Yes happens regularly for me actually I also made a post on this and was accused of tagging by people and that I needed to "escape and not wait at the exit" instead of some people establishing that it was a bug and happens even when you exit. You should report it in the bug section that was the best advice given to me by someone with an actual sensible mind on here but as of now this bug has been around for several weeks and nothing has been done.

Imagine calling Ruin users sore losers while Survivors have Adren, D.Strike, Borrowed Time, Camaraderie, Deliverance, Inner Strength, Second Wind, Solidarity...And those are just second chance perks.

Nevermind all the ones that give Survivors increased running speed to go from pallet to pallet.

But sure, Killers are sore losers for trying to fight back in the 4 minute genrush meta. How dare Killers use ONE freaking perk while Survivors have literally more second-chance perk choices than they can use at once.

    Hypocrite much?

No u Imagine calling someone a hypocrite when you read there post wrong lol. I mean if you read my post properly instead of jumping to conclusions, don't know why it's not clear enough for you maybe your slow not sure. I was saying people who say it needs to be buffed are sore losers because there is no reason to its balanced as it Is as are the other survivor perks you mentioned.

  • Practice makes perfect use her more and you will see that she is still the best killer of all before jumping to conclusions.

But It works with other games and DLCs. After all, if I set my ps4 account as primary, all other ps4 accounts of that onde PS4 have access to my content. In DBD itself, this works if you buy a DLC, but if you buy the character using Auric Cells, that doesn't work, and that's my complaint

You have to buy the dlc of the PlayStation store rather then with auric cells in order to share with 1 of your other accounts.

Well oh my... someone got salty after a killer didn’t appreciate some survivor bullying and pulled the plug. All jokes aside though, you could just create a thread on it yourself if you really want it changed because spamming other threads that hardly are related to your issue isn’t really gonna be helpful.

Personally I feel like this question differs for everyone so making a general list of survivor approved killers is gonna be impossible. I just hate going against doctors and legions. They’re overall terrible killers to use but I just despise Mending Simulator Squad and the Docs constant laugh lmao. Hag is a close one too though because I don’t run Urban Evasion so I always set of her traps.

I have a thread on it boyle before I was "spamming" it on other posts nothings been done.

Why are you getting so defensive just because someone questioned your story?

If you have nothing to hide, why get your panties in a bunch over this? Why escalate the argument with insults and thinly-veiled threats? Just explain your perspective and leave it at that.

Because your annoying me and I don't like your attitude like why you getting involved? I'm having a discussion with @NoShinyPony (not you) . If you want to discuss do your research visit the ps4 bug section and see how many people are experiencing the same bug stop acting ignorant and realise that not everyone has the same tolerance as you for people. I'm not accusing you of being toxic. I say that we must do something very differently if your 20% is true. There is just no way around it. I'm also on PS4, I'm currently on a similar rank.

Regardless of how many times you or I have experienced its an issue that needs to be fixed and fundamentally you questioning the way I play which you are is brushing over the issue and making it look like its my fault for the way I play. Can I help if I get to the exit even escape and seconds later the killer dc's and I lose my points or killer dc's while I'm in the exit no I cannot so understand my issue an raise it to the developers instead of wasting time telling me to change the way I play.

  • @Monlyth said:

The fact that you immediately resort to insults when someone questions your story, makes me think that you're not as polite as you say you are.

Who asked you? And what is there to question that I've made a bug up have I that several people are experiencing are you serious? Don't @ me if you have nothing good to say to me stay silent im Annoyed at a bug I don't need people like this Pony guy saying it isn't a big deal and it's because I was being Toxic when it very much is how would you like to play a game for 20 minutes then lose all your points it's not very nice. "If you have such a high dc rate compared to me, there must be a difference in how we behave." this is clearly an indirect insult first so step off buddy.

  • @Pulsar said:

If they just leave, they'll get their points tho...unless...this isn't about points?

It's not about tbagging at the exit even if you just escape in the exit you lose all your points if the killer dc's before it registers what you people don't understand is this a serious bug that needs fixing, why are people pointing fingers here is beyond me there is no solution to this other then the developers fixing this bug.

  • @NoShinyPony said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/795707#Comment_795707

If it's around 20% for you, then you must be doing something fundamental different than me.

Don't wait at the exit gate for the killer, just leave. If you tend to bm during the match (t-bagging, clicky clicky), stop that as well.

If you have such a high dc rate compared to me, there must be a difference in how we behave.

Listen are you even on ps4 first of all instead of accusing me of playing toxic which isn't the case. I'm at rank 6 all that happens is I loop and then exit the game no tbagging etc, don't precieve that you know how I play just because you haven't had the same experience. The reason you don't get dc's is probably because you terrible at the game see its not nice is it to think you know everything. There is several posts on the ps4 bug section dating back 2-3 weeks even that this exploit has been around some I'm sure if it was 1% there would not be so many people having this problem.

  • @NoShinyPony said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/795041#Comment_795041

After you escaped, a killer dc'ing doesn't rob you of any points.

It does I'm on ps4 I've been in a 2 swf who has also lost his points several times its a very unfair bug and its no longer 1% of killers like you said on my post its alot higher around 20% then that because they are exploiting the fact the survivors lose there BP.

  • You know what else is Game breaking a killer dc'ing at the exit resulting in me losing all my hard earned bloodpoints I think this is a more pressing issue.

  • I Agree however this issue is more pressing losing all my blood points after a well deserved escape does that seem fair to you or is this not a issue that needs to be fixed right away, atleast with a survivor dc'ing you get points per dc what do I get nothing and lose my offering and item if it was used during that game.

  • How about we adress something more Important like killers dc'ing at the exit resulting in survivors losing all there points instead of whinning about which killers survivors like or not?

Ah, nothing brings a sweeter smile to my face than making a fool of stupid camping killers.

Just finished a match with a Face Camping doc. On first hook he face camped the first survivor. He died. Fine. I figure he was just trying to get rid of the first survivor so he can 3v1 us. Ok.

The next survivor he downed. Then he went away and didn't face camp, so I went for the save. But he was just hiding a short distance away firing electric bolts and came right back as soon as he triggered my level 1 scream. I unhook but end up trading positions on the hook.

He face camps me next, then someone else brute forces the save and I get out, but now she's on hook.

So pissed at this doc, but luckily I was using my Left Behind build. So I go fish a Skeleton Key out of the basement, then hide in a locker. I abandon my two companions and let them die -- something I normally don't do. But I hate doctors and I hate camping doctors even more.

So as soon as they die I get out and see him walking off to towards the exit gates. EGC triggers, so now I have an idea where the hatch is. I run over, see him camping the exit gates, which spawned right next to each other I might add.

I see the red hatch aura, closed, behind a rock and run right for it, even with the electricity building at my feet, and I jump in and say, "GG Mr. Camper."

Feel bad for my team but feels good to get more BP than he did and shove it in his face.

Annoying the killer regardless of rank seems to be just by looping them for a couple/all GENS, which results in face camping and tunneling.

  • Ds should give a deep wound effect afterwards to the survivor so all these killers stop crying then increase the ds timer so then it's even on both sides and nobody slugs to avoid a perk "Simple as that".
