I hope they buff Saboteur. It’s a joke how it is at the moment. It has a 60 second cooldown and hooks respawn in 30 seconds. Compare that to Breakdown where hooks break for 180 seconds and it’s just not a worthwhile perk to use. Especially with hooks being so close together now. I think the cooldown should be removed but the amount of times you can use it perk hook should be limited .
Doesn't saboteur buff up breakdowns sabo speed aswell, because if it does I think it's fine as it's more of a support perk atp, along with being able to see the hooks closest.

Honestly me and the bucket believe we should just leave it as is, lowk getting tired of the aura perks and I liked the whole idea of tracking perks through things like scratch marks and blood.
-
Me and the bucket agree, while it's understandable that console chatters will be extremely slow this hasn't stopped other games such as marvel rivals, so I say leave it in for players.
-
Me and the bucket have been thinking and believe from the both of us the surrender should only be enabled once all survivors are either:
A- bleeding and slugged
B-3 hooked one alive
the bucket has spoken

I’m going to go with no, because I just think that pop ups in a match aren’t ideal, and forcing a match to end just because you don’t like the way it is going is kind of unfair to the other team regardless of which side it is. I’ve played through survivors dcing in mass and killers dcing in mass and it just ruins the game one way or another for someone. That’s just killing the experience for others. I think there’s other ways to make matches more enjoyable. Can I ask why you think there should be a forfeit option? Like what scenarios are coming to your mind when you think “a team should be able to vote to forfeit”?
The type of scenario I'm thinking is mostly from my person games where there's always a person who decides to go next and the chain continues with the rest of the team, although a ff option isn't ideal, I feel if the majority of the team agrees to quit anyway, it'd be better for the opposite side to get something out of it while also not wasting time for the survs who wanted to continue the game so they aren't down 1 or 2 players who decide it's not going well. As killer it also sucks as I don't want to waste my time chasing bots cause there's no fun in it. Though I see how an ff option might not work well.

This is probably going to be a long text. If you don't feel like reading long texts, that's understandable. It's all good. Then just skip my post, but please don´t comment some rude things please. I´m not feeling well right now.
If you're bored right now or like reading, grab some snacks and something to drink and here we go. :)I've been playing DBD since the pandemic. I started playing survivor, but after a few weeks I also played killer (even more often than survivor) because it's more interesting to play a character with unique strengths. Since I had absolutely low MMR at the time, the killer gameplay was easy. I got my killer Iri 1 achievement with Freddy, which says a lot about how low my MMR was. Freddy will always be a special character for me, just because of that.
Then my MMR increased, the matches got sweatier, I had to play against more groups of friends, they were often very toxic in the match and then abusive in the chat afterwards. And I developed anxiety. I felt alone and helpless. I noticed that I felt more comfortable sharing the burden with other people as a team. Since then, I've only played survivor. Solo killer suddenly felt impossible for me, and my fear went through the roof. It may have something to do with the fact that I was bullied for a longer time during my school days, and this behavior of some survivor friend groups triggered something in me that I thought I had forgotten.Time jump 2024. 2v8 was introduced.
The survivor gameplay bores and frustrates me, I still have an inner desire to play killer.
I thought "Cool, with someone else I might finally have the chance to play killer again without being so scared."
When 2v8 was first introduced, I couldn't play killer. I had little time for DBD at the time and the queues were just too long.
The queues in the current 2v8 are still disgustingly long, but I would even be willing to accept that. However, I am now faced with a problem that I never thought I would have.
As mentioned above, I thought it would be easy for me to queue for Killer because I know I have someone with me.
But I notice that I am still very anxious. And this is where the long queues become a problem.
If I queued for Killer and would find a match in the first 5 minutes, then I would be able to pull it off.
But the longer I have to wait, the stronger this VERY uncomfortable feeling of anxiety builds up again, which ends with me no longer being able to bear this building tension and quitting the queue after 10 minutes at the latest. :/
Now you could say "Find a friend, talking in the lobby will distract you from the tension."
That might be right, but there are also reasons why that doesn't work.- I have no friends. I am an extremely introverted person, it is enough for me to have regular contact with my family. All other people and conversations are stressful for me. And I don't want to look on discord because
- I'm female and have had some bad experiences as soon as other gamers knew my gender. Which is unavoidable because of my voice.
And to be honest, because of my introversion, like I said before I don't want to talk anyway.
So much text for a simple question.
Are there people here who also feel a strangely strong fear of playing killer? And can give me some advice on how I can cope with this tension in the 2v8 killer queue and stop myself from quitting the queue?
And even if you don't have any advice.
Thanks for reading, it felt good to get it off my chest. Have a nice week :)
for 2v8 you could look on the forums for someone to q with you, that way you'll be more familiar with who you're playing with, it is a long shot but could be worth while.

Nah I think unbreakable is pretty strong rn and doesn’t need any buffing..I think the best way to end slugging is if the devs gave more incentive to hooking rather than slugging.. cuz the way it is rn, slugging is better in most cases..
fully agree with this, if unbreakable was to receive any change however, then maybe a token system could be implemented on how many times you get up, but I think even that's pushing it.
-
Then people will dc over the slightest inconvenience, wiith all the dcs already happening with the penalty imagine if there was none.
-
no offence but why do you not like the map? they are supposed to make the environment scary for atmosphere as it is a game with horror elements, I don't think the offerings would work as then certain maps will never be played on.
-
The killer himself is neat but the creator did some baddd stuff, Behaviour will 99% not want to have anything to do with him regardless of who holds the license to jeepers creepers currently.

Just something I’d be interested to hear about!
Why have you chosen your current pfp and what were your first - or prominent previous pfps?I have for the people because it is probably my most defining perk and as I can’t loop, can’t use flashlights, barely hit flashbangs, use no exhaustion perks, For the People and Boon Exponential are probably my most associated perks. All my friends I play with probably characterise me with For The People too so that’s why I have mine.
I’m guessing some might be whimsical and some somewhat symbolic but sure there are some interesting stories from vets andhttps://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/UUFAVAL4592T/a588b6a5-075d-4d2d-a350-6622c5bb3836.jpeg
lurkers alike out there and would love to hear your stories!
Cause I really like the movie insidious and the red face demon in it, also the perk is pretty funny on unknown.

because dog

I'd really like a killer from some sort of analog horror series, I was thinking the mimic from vita carnis. Huge chance it won't happen but I'd love it.

Knockout, infectious fright, hex third seal & hex undying.
Survivors absolutely hate this build and will make sure you know about it in end game chat. It's also horrible to go against in solo queue. Even SWF struggle with it if the don't have good map awareness over comms.
Its very oppressive and can be used with any killer often resulting in extended win streaks before losing or drawing.
i have the same build actually! only difference being infectious fright where i use forced hesitation

According to survivors, 4 aura perks. Any killer mains agree?
can't disagree lol
-
STBFL, Rapid Brutality, superior anatomy, and friend till the end, not the best build but fun for chases
-
PH is perfectly fine the way he is, if anything I'd buff his addons but I can't talk on that too much since I main him
-
Man I'd do anything to even get some semblance of the original Freddy

Realistically - nothing exciting. Best case scenario - they give Freddy back his old dreamworld mechanic (intangible until he pulls survivor in the dream world where they get short grace period before they can be attacked) and combine it with his V2 abilities so he gets the best of both versions while also receiving some lift ups.
But I hope they somehow give Freddy pocket dimension to where he pulls survivors to chase them 1 v 1 without any chance for their teammates to aid them directly. Like the void from event except he can just pull the survivor there.
Like, Freddy is invisible / intangible by default. First hit doesnt do anything to survivor (but since Freddy is invisible to them and they cant know how close he is, it's borderline unavoidable) except pulling them in the dream world. Second hit (in trial grounds to asleep survivor) pulls them inside the "boiler room" which is basically an unsafe mindgame-able tile(s) where Freddy can easily outplay survivor and on third hit they go down and can be hooked or killed right away if they've reached the hook stage.
That's basically very bare concept for what I personally wish Freddy to be and I think if just more is added on it, it could be amazing.
I do like the idea of this quite abit

A large amount of people "like" fnaf but only a small amount "love" fnaf enough to play nothing but fnaf characters for the rest of the years. I personally was ready to be a simon belmont or shanoa main from castlevania until they just... never made it into the game and were turned into clothes. Im also still a Rebecca main but it gets boring when you get absolutely no new cosmetics for eternity. So it also depends on how they handle the chapter.
That's it, I will only ever play the fnaf characters once they release

I'm a huge fan of dark deception, this would be awesome to have
-
I saw someone suggest this a while ago but still a pretty good idea, might be a tad difficult to work when you have to consider the stealth option of the game and quickly interchanging between sprinting and walking but still would be good.
-
I'd say they're actually kind of underpowered, it takes some setting up and more than half the time you'll need two to boot xeno off her crawl mode.
-
If the tunnelling is getting bad you're just going to have to run the perk itself, mori being basekit doesn't give killers a huge advantage like what base ds would, yes it's been nerfed but still usable.
-
It's only a few seconds, it doesn't waste that much time
-
I only use the slug build as ghostie for fun, once I get everyone down I just dance around a little then let everybody get up and leave, only really do this if I've reached iridescent 1. If someone uses it genuinely though it is quite annoying to go against but I can't really blame content creators though as they need to come up with things.

I literally just said what I'm asking for
What I'm saying is that you already have the option to not show their names, there's nothing else to add, all you have to do is not click the button that reveals the name

The franchise I would like in the game the most would be Patrick Batman aka the American psycho. Unlikely to happen but never 0. Besides that slender man
I do think he'd be really good but the power options are a tad limited but smth could definitely happen

Because I don't want to tf
just don't click their name to reveal it, easy fix, not sure what your asking for.
