Ds isn't the "god mode" people describe and it most definitely isn't trash. Ds is mostly fair, until those scenarios where you feel like if you chase anyone your "tunneling". My personal main issue is that a person with ds up will farm another ds user in my face and it just feels stupid. This was a badham, They got 4 and a half gens done before I got a down and my power. I then played out of my mind and barley got 2 dead and regressed all the gens. Then someone dcd, allowing one to escape and I get a black pip and 2 kills to my record. This isn't bannable and survivors do it every game. Title Majority of people aren't happy, games are flying by and taking ages to find and killer feels like nightmare difficulty while survivor feels like easy. I found this and couldn't stop thinking about it. I understand that the devs have helped killers alot and I mean A LOT. Freddy Rework, Pallet Reduction, Bloodlust and Entity Blocker are all examples of the devs helping killers over the years and those are just a few. We all know the usually discussions about maps, gen speed and perks for survivors and killers. But I want to look at another side of it, bugs and the rate at which they are fixed. Doctor ignoring ds and basement bug are 2 of the more recent and significant bugs, one was universal and the other was character specific and were fixed within 2-3 weeks. After playing the patch and watching the stream I've come to a realization, the game will never be balanced. Ranking This may seem like a broad or irrational statement however I have many reasons to say this, matchmaking is one of the main or even only issues of why. I play mostly killer so I have a biased attitude towards killers, im fully willing to admit I am biased and want someone that is as biased towards survivor just as biased as I am for killer for a discussion. The basement/wiggle bug is ruining games for survivors and is being abused by a few killers, so its already being fixed within a day. This seems good right? I Make this as a sort of question along with discussion. The game is survivor sided, as it has been for a long time but it's gotten alot better from survivor being god mode. But even now survivors have perks that dont even compare to what killer has, the devs seem to be amazing at balancing killer perks, the good ones are strong but have a decent requirement. What did the spirit nerf fix? I mean I get it, shes harder to use and some addons are not as annoying or useless and replaceable by lower tier addons *cough* amulet *cough*. But what was fixed? She can still hit you and phase on your face, still stand at a window with one option removed and still can stand still at pallets. This is what I think and somewhat agree with It's not that they want it all to themselves or their being rude, mean or selfish. It has more to do with how they got it, they put time into getting something that was important or cool to them. Once she gets ner.. updated, does it end? Will survivors stop calling killers no skill or ez 4ks? Or will it be a downward spiral? Look at nurse, its even admitted she didnt have a broken kill ratio yet she was nerfed, due to popular complaints (popular opinion was just addons but ok behavior). No this isn't bait, this is my reasoning behavior shouldn't touch spirit. Nurse could and can ignore every survivor defense, if she plays perfectly she will down a survivor no matter what. But the thing is, shes not as fun as she was, she feels like a worse hag alot of the time if you arent a p3 legacy Nurse. When a spirit counter is listed it cant be a perk as a counter, so we cant just say use iron will to counter spirit specificall(even though it's good against 16 of the other killers but ok). When killers ask how do I counter infinites? Were told "just leave them" or "use bamboozled If you hate it that much". That's the same argument as "just mindgame the spirit" and "just use iron will". This is my opinion for a fair change, addon rework and when she starts phasing, not charges it but actually starts moving it,her hair will have a decently noticeable animation on all skins. Its not Prayer Beads, Iri Head or even lampkin with balanced and 3 toolboxes and a key. What changes could genuinely be made without legioning her? I suggested this, when she starts phasing (not charging but actually being able to move in it) on all skins he hair violently shakes or flickers, this would provide feedback on if shes phasing and wouldnt be a map wide give away along with survivors having to be in her los to see it most times.
