Hello, I’m JohnVelma, a Creator Program Gold Tier member from Thailand. This is a survey I created for January 2026, with 89 Thai players participating. The origin of this survey comes from my previous survey, which included a question asking which killers players most wanted to see buffed the top 10. That earlier survey had 54 Thai participants, and I took the top 10 killers that were selected0 comments 141 views last activity

Hello, my name is JohnVelma , a Creator Program member from Thailand. I don’t know how much Dead by Daylight’s server infrastructure has changed in the past or present. However, in the past, when I played the game, my ping was usually as low as 20 and at most around 70 (20–70). I’ve heard many rumors from the Thailand community, but I don’t know how true they are because I don’t have concrete0 comments 31 views last activity

Auto Dead Hard has been a long standing issue that has never really been resolved. Since Dead by Daylight switched to a dedicated server system (from P2P), the game has become much more stable, which I really appreciate. However, after Dead Hard was reworked, this perk started being widely abused through cheating programs, most notably Auto Dead Hard . The problem is that Auto Dead Hard is e1 comments 392 views last activity

Hello BHVR and the Developer Team. Happy New Year 2026. Hope dbd have a good year. I’m JohnVelma. I’m in the Creator Program from Thailand. https://www.youtube.com/ @JohnVelma I made this survey to help you about killers balance and maps. My survey has 52 Thai players to join this survey. I apologize that the number of players who filled out the survey might be a bit low. Howe1 comments 72 views last activity

Skull Merchant 9.3.2 is something absolutely terrible. Hello I'm JohnVelma. I'm Content Creator and Streamer About Dead by Daylight. I’m new to YouTube, but I’m not new to DBD. I’ve been playing since day one, on both roles, with around 6,000 hours in the game. Today I want to share my feedback on Skull Merchant in Patch 9.3.2. I also have 10 recorded matches of me playing Skull Merchant to16 comments 345 views last activity

To be honest, I was very surprised. I’m a player from Thailand, and when I played The Krasue on the PTB, my friends and I as well as many Thai streamers. all said the same thing: “The Krasue is very strong.” But at the same time, many streamers in the US and EU said: “She’s weak and not fun to play.” That’s fine, maybe it just comes down to personal feelings. When I discussed it wit1 comments 71 views last activity

Forgotten Ruins is a very disgusting map. It has an infinity loop portal. If you play The Knight and get this map, it’s almost a guaranteed loss because your Guards will immediately stop chasing as soon as the survivor enters the portal. And it’s not just for The Knight. this applies to every killer. The portal has no cooldown, no limit on the number of uses, and it’s extremely unfair to kill0 comments 21 views last activity

Hello, I’m a player from the Asia Server (SEA). I play both Killer and Survivor. I have some ideas for buffs, nerfs, and QOL improvements for several killers that feel outdated in the current game. These are my personal ideas, after some thought and consideration, which I believe would improve killer QOL without being unfair or overly oppressive toward survivors . I went into my Statistics (Track State), and I found something that made me curious. I’ve played this game for a total of 5,819.4 hours. But when I look at my Track State, across all Killers and Survivors, the combined hours only add up to around 1,500. So where did the remaining 4,319.4 hours go? I’d like to know when this statistic started being recorded, or if there’s an explanation for how t0 comments 11 views last activity

Today, I played a total of 39 games as Killer (one game per Killer), and in all 39 games, at least one Survivor used the Offering: Sacrificial Ward . I’m not sure how the system calculates things, but based on my observations, when someone uses Sacrificial Ward and no other players bring an Offering related to maps or realms , the map that gets selected is almost always an indoor map about3 comments 81 views last activity

I have the Rabbit Skin of Kimura Yui and the AWAKENED KANEKI Skin of The Ghoul even though I haven't purchased them, and I can equip them. Many of my friends have the same thing as soon as they enter the game.0 comments 221 views last activity

Introduction BHVR should hire more people for Game Design if they keep resorting to these easy methods and can't come up with fresh ideas. I won’t ask for licensed DLC content because I understand that with licensed characters, making adjustments is difficult as it requires approval and input from many parties, especially the license holders themselves. So, I’ll focus on Original Survivors and0 comments 32 views last activity

useless survivor perks and should be improved (My Idea). Survivor Perks: Streetwise (Nea) Long nights out taught you to do a lot with what you have got. Increases the Efficiency of your Items by 15 / 20 / 25 % . The 25% number is too low. While we have a perk like Built to Last (Felix), which allows you to replenish an item up to 3 times (even though the percentage decre13 comments 211 views last activity

For me, as a player who has played this game for over 5,000 hours and plays both Killer and Survivor, as well as being from the SEA (Asian Server), I have some opinions on balance that I think need a little adjustment. First off, I play both Killer and Survivor, and there are things I agree with, such as "Killers are too powerful and unfair to Survivors" and also "Some Survivors are too strong0 comments 51 views last activity

I want to know if the Block button in the game actually works. Today, I played Solo Survivor and encountered a toxic player (on my own team). I had an argument with him after the game in the chat. After that, I clicked Block so I wouldn’t have to encounter him again. But after two more matches, I still ended up in a room with him. (I minimized the game and watched YouTube while waiting for a matc3 comments 41 views last activity

I’ve asked my friends who work as game developers, as well as those in fields that require statistical measurements, and they always say the same thing: "Numbers never lie." I believe DBDL devs think the same way. But my question is, how reliable are the DBDL statistics, considering we have a community that likes to create "fake or unreliable statistics," mostly coming from main survivor players.5 comments 101 views last activity

This is my idea for the 2025 Update, which includes The Nightmare, The Cenobite, The Plague, and The Skull Merchant. I Reference from this. The Skull Merchant I am a player with about 5,000 hours of playtime, and I play both Killer and Survivor. For me, The Skull Merchant in the current patch is too weak. I would like survivors to be a bit more ope0 comments 361 views last activity

The Houndmaster remains a disappointing Killer and desperately needs a buff or even a full rework. I played The Houndmaster during the PTB, and while I admit that "I had fun playing as The Houndmaster," I also felt that she was far too weak. There are many other Killers that are more powerful and enjoyable to play. In the PTB, I already thought she was weak. On Launch Day, The Houndmaster r1 comments 251 views last activity

I want to introduce myself a bit: I’m a player with around 5,000 hours of experience, playing both Survivors and Killers. The Dredge is my favorite Killer, both in terms of story, character design, and powers. However, I’ve noticed that this Killer has relatively few players, even after receiving a buff in patch 8.2.0, which only slightly improved his quality of life. For me, The Dredge is a Kil5 comments 72 views last activity

I'm a solo player from Thailand, playing hours around 5k. I'm so bored with the current matchmaking system. That brings me to meet new players whose playing hours are many times different from mine. While the Killer may be lower or about the same level as me, that not my point. Because even if the Killer is lower level than me, I can't face the Killer alone.1 comments 51 views last activity

The Xenomorph. As a fan of the film, and a fan of The Xenomorph, I think this will be a disappointing Killer License Same level of disappointment as The Nightmare. The developers gave too much power to the Add-On: Emergency Helmet and Turrets. This makes every time players will play The Xenomorph very necessary to rely on this Add-Ons. Because if they don't use Crawler Mode they will be quick5 comments 92 views last activity

https://youtu.be/ui33L-56XsQ Is it a bug? Or not. I play for 4,000 hours. This is the first time I've encountered something like this.0 comments 11 views last activity

I think "The matchmaking system hurts solo players and favors killers too much." I noticed that “When I play Survivor (Solo)” and I wear perks specific to my playstyle, “the matchmaking system matches me to killers that prevent me from playing that style.” And most of the time is when playing Solo. If playing with a full team (4-player party), there will be quite a bit. such2 comments 61 views last activity

Introduction Dev or Survivor players on server: US, EU or others, you might think that The Nurse is not a problem. But I'm a player from server: Asia (Thailand) and we face The Nurse almost 6 in 10 of games all day. The Nurse isn't as difficult or complicated to play as Oni, Blight, or Hillbily. You can master The Nurse in a short time. The Nurse is too powerful. (and has been for a very lon10 comments 151 views last activity

Boil Over (Kate Denson) From my experience playing the "Boil Over" perk. I found that every time. when I use "Boil Over" perk was grabbed or picked up by a Killer, when the killer can't see the hook aura or collides with obstacles when walking. Killer always leaves me lying on the floor, the worst I've experienced is I was left lying on the ground for the entire game until I bled and died. And1 comments 41 views last activity

Biopods (Camera) Survivors can easily overcome it Just rush it or run around, the lock-on radius of the Biopods is too small. Video : https://youtu.be/Sy1CLRb0jFg Biopods: Post-EMP Disable duration: 45 seconds. which is too long Especially if you encounter SWF, you will hardly use its abilities. I think The Nurse and The Blight are too strong. You probably don't know. But if you are on Aisa Server, 20 games, you might have encountered 14 games of The Blight and 2 games of The Nurse. In Asia, The Nurse and The Blight server is Tier S. Should Nerf or Rework The Blight The Blight's ability to continuously hunt was too high. Start with 5 tokens and it takes 2 seconds to recharge each0 comments 12 views last activity
