Instead of fighting over who should heal who first, here's an idea that would make the perk easier to use: Whenever you heal a survivor, or a survivor heals you, this perk activates. For the next 30 sec, 50% of healing dealt or received is granted to the dealer. This perk deactivates and goes on cooldown for 30 sec. when 50% worth of healing progress is granted to any survivor through this4 comments 41 views last activity

Cancelling a command shouldn't slow the Houndmaster The cooldown of search / chase isn't consistent because it only begins after the dog returns to you. This is a problem because the dog can take a long time to return or even get stuck in some scenarios, making the Houndmaster powerless Search should snap more easily to generators / totems / exit gates. It should also be allowed to snap to hoo0 comments 11 views last activity

The devs have already created a visual for the terror radius with the heart (can be toggled in settings). It would be nice to have visual indicators for other important audio cues. Not everyone has great hearing or wears headphones when they play DBD. This could include sound effects like: Spirit phasing Knight drawing paths Dracula when he's nearby in bat form Blight hitting a wall Sa0 comments 22 views last activity

Benefits of a Surrender Option Reduces Frustration in Hopeless Matches: In some matches, the outcome becomes clear early on—for example, when one or more Survivors disconnect, when the Killer is dominating, or when the Killer is needlessly slugging. - Encourages Sportsmanship: Some players express frustration by intentionally sabotaging their teammates or holding the game hostag3 comments 131 views last activity

It's been years and they're still broken. No mention of them in the PTB notes. Meanwhile BHVR makes changes nobody asked for, like nerfing Wiretap and kicking Spine Chill's lifeless corpse.2 comments 61 views last activity

I counter 90% of these with no problem. But the remaining 10% feels like they're cheating. Here's how it goes: Survivor tries to twirl me I wait it out, realign my view on them They're still swerving, but I track them Swing straight at them Lunge cancels itself despite me holding M1 Miss The game forces the killer's lunge to end if the survivor is within striking range, which normally r22 comments 1,241 views last activity

Pallet save timings should also. If you're off by even a fraction of a second, you miss the rescue just like flashlights. Not trying to give survivors free buffs, but it makes sense to give all timing-sensitive rescues the same treatment.5 comments 121 views last activity

Most games, you aren't going to get value out of it because the killer just picks you up immediately after they down you. But even if the killer doesn't pick you up and you manage to recover, you still got put in timeout for 45 seconds. That's 50% worth of generator progress you missed out on. You could bring Unbreakable to shorten that time, but that's up to you if you want to sacrifice a perk28 comments 1,102 views last activity

I can understand it being necessary back when the killer's pick up time was almost 5 seconds long, but now? It's only 3 seconds to pick someone up and that isn't much time to get into position. There are many moments where survivors are in position for a save, but miss it because their timing was a few milliseconds too early or late. It's silly how exact survivors have to be. Since the recent chapter went live on the PTB, I've been noticing a lot of perks released have been underwhelming / watered down due to how they could conflict with already existing perks. So instead of continuing a trend of creating perks nobody wants to use, why not assign each of the 4 perk slots available to players a specific category where only a perk of that type is allowed to be used? It's a bit hard to tell if Red Herring has an impact in your trial. Sure you see the generator turn red, but there's no way of knowing if it fooled the killer. So a small buff idea: For 10 seconds after Red Herring triggers, killers within an 8 meter radius of the generator are revealed. Thoughts?2 comments 32 views last activity

Quite a few aura reveal perks for survivors have infinite range, making this perk only worth picking with a few others (namely Bond and Kindred). So here's the idea: * No longer increases aura reading range * Now shares all non-killer auras you see with allies who are within 8/12/16 meters Thoughts?2 comments 32 views last activity

When Legion's first cinematic came out, he was fleeing alongside David as if he were a survivor. They both take cover inside a building together as if they're friends, then Legion reveals his true identity and guts him. I'm like "Wow, a killer who can disguise himself as a survivor! This character going to be so fun to play!" Then Legion gets released and his power is...totally different. Diffe20 comments 392 views last activity

Just remove the requirement to hit the obsession because it's totally luck based whether you run into them or not. Lower the numbers if you need to, just get rid of the arbitrary obsession mechanic. Yes I *know* you can see the entity's portrait move when chasing the obsession, but if you've already started chasing a non-obsession survivor, why feel forced to give that up to find one particul4 comments 202 views last activity

I don't really think Iron Maiden gets used by any killer besides Huntress. It just doesn't do enough to warrant taking it in your games compared to all the other options. So here's a rework idea: * You search lockers 30/40/50% faster * When a survivor attempts to exit a locker, they create a noise notification and become trapped inside by The Entity for 4 seconds. This will make Iron Maiden3 comments 52 views last activity

Nobody uses this perk, so here's a buff / rework idea. To keep Wake Up in line with being a semi-counter to Freddy, I thought this was a nice idea: While afflicted by a negative status effect, your aura is revealed to all other survivors, and the speed of healing / cleansing actions performed on you are increased by 15/20/25% This will make the perk actually useful when going up against kil9 comments 72 views last activity

Requires you and another survivor be injured Requires you both be in the same area Requires you both not be in a chase Requires the survivor to allow you to heal them (they may have healing perks / items of their own and want to heal you or heal by themselves) Requires you not use a med-kit Why go through all that trouble when I can just equip Botany Knowledge? Only certain killers have access to add-ons that allow them to put Exhaustion perks on cooldown for Survivors. I think there should be a perk available to all killers that lets them to do this. I'd say buff Relentless and give it the ability to let melee attacks trigger the Exhaustion status for 4/6/8 seconds. That's enough time to allow a Survivor to possibly regain their exhaustion perk i11 comments 172 views last activity

Not many people use this perk given how likely it is for its hex totem to get cleansed before stacks can be accumulated from hooking Survivors. Even then, the effects are negligible until maybe 3 hooks. Here's an idea: No longer a hex perk Survivors who linger within your terror / lullaby radius for more than 12/10/8 seconds become Paranoid Paranoid Survivors are incapable of focusing9 comments 151 views last activity

Make it token based. Give Survivors who run Self Care 2 tokens A token is consumed after healing the equivalent of one health state If a Survivor only heals partially, an equivalent amount of the token is consumed Increase the self-heal speed to 75% There, now Survivors heal faster, but can only recover from wounds twice per game. Getting injured repeatedly now is riskier and inflict3 comments 91 views last activity

Couple points to make here: Everyone already runs Self-Care. Most just run off to heal themselves after taking a hit. This is mostly a Survivor buff to the most used perk in the game It makes no logical sense to nerf healing speed for other Survivors when you're smart enough to bind your own wounds. Like, you're well studied enough to figure out how to bandage your own injuries, but that kn8 comments 241 views last activity

Instead of hexes instantly applying themselves to random totems during a match, why not let the killer decide which totems he wants for his hexes? All totems could begin as dull totems and show their auras to the killer until they walk up to one and interact with it, applying a random hex to it. That way there's less instances of survivors finding the totem immediately due to RNG.3 comments 41 views last activity

Instead of basing the ability on skillchecks that may or may not happen, just do it by number of seconds healed. Something like this: For every 14/12/10 seconds you spend healing an ally, gain 20% increased healing speed when healing other players, up to a maximum of 100% This way it actually feels like progression towards a new tier of healing speed regardless of whether skillchecks6 comments 191 views last activity

The Killer can run BBQ and play normally, hooking Survivors to get extra bloodpoints. He would do this in all of his games regardless of running the perk. We're Gonna Live Forever requires Survivors to unhook or take a hit to get tokens. There are a few problems with this: 1. Encourages Survivors to hook farm their teammates 2. Encourages a play style not everyone enjoys (some people like doin23 comments 271 views last activity

Mentioning Killer height, terror radius, and movement speed is a nice start, but what about the quirks that make each killer unique? There's no mention of things like: * Huntress Lullaby radius or how it's independent of the terror radius * Freddy's singing radius * Billy's move speed while revving or dashing his saw * Hag's crazy lunge range * Doctor's Madness buildup percentage per shock treatm0 comments 21 views last activity

I know many players ask for ways to play against the killer that don't involve pallet looping. It's pretty boring for both sides involved, and doesn't really showcase much skill. But the problem is that Survivors just don't have very many options available in a chase. So here's an idea: Let Survivors create false scratch marks 8m in the direction they're facing by kicking up dirt. Give it a 1.257 comments 111 views last activity

Disabling post-game chat would make playing as Killer less stressful because Survivors tend to either complain or brag after a match and can easily gang up on a Killer, making for a toxic environment. Survivors always reach the end-game screen before the Killer does, so the Killer is forced to see Survivor messages before they can quit a lobby. This might also be nice for Survivors too if thei6 comments 451 views last activity

It's a fair buff for the nerf he got (Nurse's Calling no longer reveals Survivors snapping out of it) but also is just a quality of life change. His shock therapy's range is so short that running a range add-on often feels mandatory. Shock Therapy also isn't a damaging attack like Huntress hatchets, and only helps shorten chases in specific scenarios, unlike Clown's tonic where he can gas a Surv7 comments 122 views last activity
