  • Only I'm just here to say that it has been working fantastically for me. In fact, I'm a little low on the killer side - Everyone's been bringing in keys and medkits and, you know, those perks , but I mostly just keep on killing. Hopefully my mmr on my mains goes up a bit, it's certainly not fair. But I haven't been getting babies in my trials either, these folks know what they're doing. And my

  • Or, as I like to call it, "DON'T BE CREATIVE!" Seriously, who cares if the killer is using it to wait in ambush? Are other killers going to get their powers forcefully shoved into one little box? Is there some huge impact to the game that I'm missing, because it doesn't exactly seem like a useful camping tool, but maybe I'm wrong about that? The chain Hunt's themselves feel like they're fantast

  • Yes. I specifically mean Survivors. As in my own teammates as well as, if not significantly more than, my opponents. It is getting to the point where I cannot play the game without getting sandbagged. Very, very deliberately sandbagged, not accidentally having a scared teammate drop a pallet on me. It's bad enough playing killer and dealing with all those totally-not-trying-to-bully squads th

  • So, how many of us actually play Spirit? I kind of do on very rare occasions when I want to play a killer I find kind of difficult because of all of my self-nerfs (no Stridor, no 50/50's, no standing still, etc) but still very strong. I'd probably like playing her a lot more if not for how just... Spirit-y she is. How many others use her? Do you have any self-banned perks or add-ons, or do you j

  • Stand there and watch you complete side objectives before killing you. Never am I more terrified than by a killer that catches me opening a chest or cleansing a dull totem who just stands there and lets me do it. That's a person who is confident in their abilities. That's someone who knows how the game's gonna end. That's someone who doesn't realise I have Inner Strength or Chest Build but does

  • Hold W, predrop the pallet, rinse and repeat. That's all I get any more. All day long, every single trial. Maybe I'll get someone trying to loop me at an extremely safe tile, like Shack or a long wall. Maybe. Only if they know for a fact that they have enough distance and LoS to get in perhaps a single loop with no chance of being mindgamed. Otherwise, that pallet goes instantly too. This did no

  • So something happened recently that gave some of the forum members some wonderful bonding experience and a nice little break from reality. So I was thinking, what's some absolutely ludicrous things that have happened in this game or community that has had you chucking in your chair (or perhaps, dare I say it, rolling on the floor)?

  • I've been running Make Your Choice/Devour Hope/BBQ/Undying on a lot of killers, and especially on Ghostface it's just such a mean build. It's not some tournament build, I don't ever expect it to do well against those teams, but damn if it doesn't wreck everyone else. For once I even get consistent BBQ value, since you quickly slip into the momentum of hooking someone as someone else gets MYC'd

  • I honestly don't know if I'm just crazy of if this is some change/bug that's happened, but it really does seem like the size of the hooked survivors hitbox has been increased. The best play to make against me right now is just to rush unhooks, because I cannot get grabs (making basic attacks extremely dangerous to try) and a small lunge will usually hit the hooked person, even if the unhooker (le

  • Just curious if anyone's switched up their main characters, or even their main role. Personally I went from being a Kate main to Zarina, and I'm trying to add Plague back into my normal killer rotation (which is pretty much just Blight and Legion at the moment). Anyone else? Added a new character to their rotation, switched up their main, something like that?

  • Not even necessarily meme builds (though feel free to share!), just dumb builds that either shouldn't work... Or absolutely don't work but you run nonetheless. Personally, I can't get enough of Mettle of Man and No Mither. Together. With a little Tenacity so I can GTFO after taking a hit. It's so dumb and it never works unless you throw the entire trial, but just the fact that the killer has to

  • Bit of a rant, I don't normally do this but this one I just have to share. Just had a trial, as Huntress, in an extremely safe Tompson House. We're talking jungle gyms into jungle gyms, the kind of stuff that isn't really supposed to spawn any more. Every single survivor had the full second-chance build. You know the one I'm talking about. And these survivors are pretty good. Now, the worst one

  • Y'all are the real heroes here, playing these very, umm, unique killers despite all of their... uniqueness. I've been having fun. I know it isn't easy, but I hope all of you are as well.

  • ... and the endgame chat is just the sweetest group of people reassuring one another, talking about the trial, and saying GG's. It's really heartwarming that this game brings people together with how much it frustrates us.

  • So, I just had a game, as Clown, against a full party. And I know they were a full party, because they used their OoO to find me, ran at me, let all of themselves get downed, and then the match was cancelled because their friend whose game had crashed in the loading screen finally got the crash to register after over a minute. Wow. We didn't even get to keep out points.

  • Because I will somehow find the deadest deadzones in the most broken map in the game and die very loudly in them. Very, very loudly. To death. Seriously, I have no idea how I've been managing it. It's like I am, personally, the Anti-Haddonfield. It started in the No-Bloodlust weekend and has been a recurring theme for the last few days. I would apologize to my teammates, but... Well, it's Haddon

  • So... Wow. Never knew how much Bloodlust affected that one single map. I figured that Midwich would be the worst hit because, well, the hold-W, but nope. I figured wrong. (I had a SWF party ask me to chase them in certain areas and I found out that a lot of them are infinites or entity-blockers without Bloodlust)

  • So, he died when he was a teenager, right? So does that mean he's actually a lot younger than his sister? Are the twins actually different ages despite the same birthdate?

  • This perk is fun with Botany and a medkit. Throw in Self Care and a yellow or purple medkit and it's just heals for days.

  • Does any other survivor just have a complete "NOPE" moment when they see a hidden survivor offering? It's like "Hey, yeah, so I know it's really, really bad for solo players to stack together in the early game... So let's all stack together in the early game." Then the killer comes along and goes "Ohh, it's my birthday!" to all your fellow teammates, or as I like to call them "Free Map Pressure,

  • That feeling when your very first game of the day is against a genrushing SWF squad all running DS/UB/Resiliance with a few Prove Thyselves for good measure that play extremely safe and never take risks. Really makes me want to keep playing. So fun. So easy to understand why there are so many Spirit and Freddy mains.

  • I cannot get enough. Dragons Grip, Make Your Choice, and of course Haunted Grounds (because everyone loves to cleanse my "Hex: Undying." Just zip across the map and down someone so fast they'll wish they were playing against a Spirit. I even tried running Devour Hope, but... Well, it's a Hex perk on Blight.

  • Is anyone else getting genuinely sick of this one little thing being what makes or breaks a trial? I had a team, a while ago, of very lovely people who were decent at the game. I was Oni, and I lost because I couldn't snowball. That's it, really. No overly bad plays on either side, no overly good plays on either side (except breaking my snowballs, that was chefs kiss perfection), but every time I

  • I was actually having a lot of fun with this. It was so useful to trick survivors into being where I wanted them to be, and it actually gave some much-needed information to make playing against her slightly more bearable. It was nice to pretend she was actually nerfed in between Slinger practice, and it was nice to hope that maybe the Devs were listening... But then again, one of her loading scr

  • What is something specific you're working on improving? Not just "Gittin' Gud" - I daresay we're all working at that. No, what's a general or specific skill you're currently out to pick up? Personally, I'm working on my Slinger. All of it. Shots, tactics, the whole thing. I spent I-dont-know-how-long playing nothing but Blight and whomever I had dailies for, and now I just cannot for the life of

  • No matter what, when I play survivor I always end up being so altruistic you'd mistake me for a SWF partner, and it super backfires a LOT. I try gen builds, I try aggressive chase builds, and no matter what I always end up running over to take hits and pick people up just to take their place. I almost never run BT just because I will 100% always bodyblock if I have to go for an unsafe unhook, inj

  • Anyone else just have those really bad streaks of RNG? Those days where you get awful map after terrible, awful map? I just had some of the most astoundingly bad maps I've seen. As Blight, I had Lery's into Blood Lodge (Pallet City version) into Ironworks (this one was just amazing RNG. CHAINED LT walls? Pallets everywhere? God window?) into The Game. So, I chill with some survivor. Dead Dawg, De

  • Nothing too fancy, just a perk that shows the survivor the killers aura when they break a totem. Maybe cleansing a Hex totem also shows the entire team the killers aura, in keeping with the Retribution theme.

  • Yeah. I know. Look at me, I'm an idiot. That's crazy talk. Stop having reasons to play Spirit, to play Nurse, to run DS/UB or OoO with my friends? What's this guy on about. But please: It's okay to run strong things. That's it. There doesn't need to be a reason, an excuse. You might well have one, but you don't need to. At all. In any way. Your reason is totally fine being "I want to win." Ther

  • Yeah. Again. DC penalty complaint. I know, it's old, but I have an observation to throw in the mix: People suicide less, when DC penalties are enabled, than they DC when they aren't. It's true. But is it really worth punishing people for errors with the games code? Is giving a handful of otherwise-whiny people a few seconds to cool off really worth punishing other players for connection issues t

  • Title says it all, really. I'm just curious what people think has been hurt the worst. Personally, I can no longer use Bitter Murmer. The "generator completed" bubble actually hides the aura's from view. Alert is a close second, because although you can still see the killer kicking, it is far less noticeable, often blends into the background, and you can rarely tell which killer it is from the ou

  • I would simply like to know if it is intentional that the chase music is not only louder than survivor audio cues, but actually mutes them. This has been a bug in the game since before Oni's release, but one of the loading screen messages made me wonder otherwise. I understand that the loud music is to make it harder for killers to hear survivors, but is it supposed to soften all survivor audio a

  • Okay, so there are a lot of survivor perks that, fairly or not, get called "second-chance perks". I think that's something most people can agree on, regardless of whether or not they actually are second chance perks. So are there any killer perks that people, specifically survivor mains, consider second chance perks? If so, why? I'm genuinely curious. Other than NOED I've never really considered

  • Okay, so the whole reason people are allowed to suicide on hook is because it's the equivalent of them just giving up, at least lore-wise. That is the reason they are in the game. Ignore the 'leave match' button and instead press m1 three times and grab a beverage of your choosing. I genuinely don't see the difference between this and a DC, but fine. At least some people cool off in the time it t
