  • With some add-ons, the doctor is able to prevent any unhook attempt by shocking constantly. Obviously it is a problem, since survivors are supposed to be able to save with skill and teamwork. So how in the hell is there anyone saying that it is fine? That is what i constantly see on the forum... illogical deny about many issues. For example: i've heard the exact same thing about Bubba camping. It

  • In your opinion. What is COH main issue (from a killer perspective)? As far as i'm concerned, i don't think that the healing speed boost while healing your teammates is the main issue. We'll make It is a great perk... and barely no one ever used it. I think it has more to do with the speed of self care that allows everyone on the team to heal themselves within 16 seconds. I even see people heali

  • Since the introduction of Pinhead and Artist, september 2021/ november 2021, killers didn't stop getting incredible new gen slowdown perks. Deadlock and Pain Resonance. And recently, january 2022, Dead man's Switch got buffed... and has an insane synergy with Pain Resonance. We got new combos to try with Pop, Ruin and Corrupt. Combos that work on all killers. But yeah, apparently, boons make the

  • Do you think that hooking the four survivors once and blocking all gens for 40 seconds is enough of a reward? Well, i didn't try the perk yet. But that seems quite underwhelming. Like, i think it would be better if you got a reward each time you hook a survivor for his first time... but then you'd need to tone down the timer quite a bit (cause it'd make camping even stronger).

  • Do you think Trapper is fine as he currently is... or does he still need buffs? As far as i'm concerned, i think Trapper is fine as he is... except that he could have a tiny buff (making him carry three traps: have the green add-on as base kit). Otherwise, i think he's as he should be.

  • BT base kit wouldn't be a bad idea if killers also get a base kit perk that helps to deal with gen speed. A lot of people ask for corrupt to be also base kit then. My only issue with corrupt is that it makes hex totems even weaker since some survivors will actively search for totems instead of doing gens. Other people think making pop base kit would do the trick... but i think killers really need

  • When you play as pig you are annoyed by survivors taking their traps off in one or two boxes. When you play survivor against pig, you are annoyed by a pig magically finding the box you need to search (because the others failed) and blocking it. I think an idea to help with those two issues in one shot would be to make 5 boxes spawn, and make survivors go through four (no more no less). Pig mains

  • When i play killer, i get 30k bloodpoints on average... and when i play survivor its more 20k bloodpoints on average. I really like the fact that during the event, for survivors, if the team did a gen everyone get bloodpoints for it... and red enveloppe enhances it (if i understand correctly). I just wish that to be made basekit (getting bloodpoints if the team do gens and having offerings to enh

  • I know it could cause a problem with survivors dodging lobbies too often. But i think it could be interesting to be able to see which killer you are going against in lobby. Edit: for example, if you're tired to go against the same killer in a row... you could dodge lobby. What's your thoughts?

  • It is not possible to save against a Bubba because, even with BT, he can hit the rescuer and the "rescued one" in a row. Wouldn't it do the trick to make bubba have a cooldown after a hit with his chainsaw (like any other killer)?

  • Should self care be faster than 50% of the normal healing speed? As far as i'm concerned, i think that 50% of the normal healing speed is too slow. Especially when i see boon circle of healing, i see no reason for self-care to be this slow. Maybe 100% of the normal healing speed would be too much, but 50% definitely feels too slow to me. What's your thoughts?

  • Do you think dead man's switch is perfectly balanced as it is... or do you think that it is a bit too strong, and needs a small nerf?

  • Gideon meat plant is pallet breaking simulator for killers... because there is too many safe pallets too close to one another. For example: *on top of the bathroom, there is two pallets that the killer has to break... he can't mindgame any of them *next to the bathroom there is two "god pallets" (next to basement)... the killer can't mindgame them either *in many rooms (lower floor) you have t

  • Just wanted to make a post about the fact that amanda's letter + add-ons that give one more trap feels good... and also that the combination of last will and workshop grease also feels good to use (meaning that it actually feels as a good improvement of the killer's power). But they really need those add-ons to mitigate their drawbacks (i'd say that those drawbacks aren't necessary but that is ju

  • I'm seeing everywhere how dbd should not balance around kills but around hooks... because killers aren't able to kill survivors by going around the map and chasing: they have to camp/ tunnel to get rid of survivors (but it is "boring"). But, lets be serious a moment: most killers don't care about chasing survivors and outperforming them in that regard... they only care about getting rid of surviv

  • I don't really want to waste add-ons, so i'm asking: does the insta-down add-on for clown limit the bottle to two bottles max now? Does it prevent adding more?

  • On the last Q&A, people were thinking that there was a hint about BT becoming a base kit mechanic in the future. I just wanted to say that the more i play solo q survivor the less i can play without BT anymore. I need that one perk in all of my builds, and not running it always end up killing my team. So, if BT would eventually become base kit, i would gladly welcome that new change. The curr

  • What is the best survivor info perk in your opinion: kindred or bond?
1 comments 41 views last activity
  • What is your favorite info perk when playing killer (lets put aside the bonus bloodpoint aspect of bbq to be a bit more fair)? As far as i'm concerned, i really do love surveillance the most (it does work very well with ruin).
19 comments 201 views last activity
  • Would you be interested in having ruin as a basic perk (as a killer) but with a lower gen regression speed (like 150% for example)?

  • Dead Hard allows a survivor to reset the chase anew after making a mistake. Current dead hard can be triggered multiple times per match. So... four survivors can all have dead hard, and each one can proc it multiple times. Do you think making dead hard a one time use could be an idea to balance it? [Lets face it: they won't remove it/ they won't change its nature... because they worked hard to m

  • Trying to make a gen regress after a basic kick, currently, is inefficient... since the speed at which the gen regresses is too slow. To deal with gen speed: would you increase the gen regressing speed? Or do you think there is another way to prevent gens from going to fast? Previously, i thought that making corrupt a base mechanic would be the best way to deal with gen speed (because it doesn't

  • I really like the new functioning behind those hex perks: whether it is rekindling totems or cursing one survivor in particular after hooking him... because it opens up possibilities for future interesting perks. What i like with plaything, it is that the survivors cannot cleanse before the effect is applied... and that survivors have to get off of gens or accept the risk. Maybe, in the future, h

  • Do you think NOED needs to be nerfed in any way... or do you think it should be let as it is? As far as i'm concerned, NOED should be changed because it can give too much value to any killer regardless of their skill. I always refused to run it, then started to use it on endgame builds for funsies... and it just does feel busted to me.

  • Wouldn't it be interesting to have a 1v1 online mode in dead by daylight? I think it would fit thematically, since you can already do it in custom games. Like that we could improve our ability to chase (as killer or survivor)... and see if we are as skilled as we thought we were (or not, and improve). What do you think?

  • A lot of people hate how hexes are too RNG. One game you get so much value from it... another, it get cleansed in seconds; and you get nothing with it. Would you, then, prefer hexes to be reworked into basic perks (with more restrictions added to compensate for the buff obvioulsy)? I like the idea behind hexes mechanic, its quite original... but i think its also quite unfair for killers. (Side n

  • Wouldn't it be just better to make their bonus bloodpoints effects base kit? BBQ bonus don't need any change. But i think that we're gonna live forever should rather give 20% more bloopoints after each gen is done by the team (and if you were alive during that time of course). Edit: i was thinking about it because needing one perk to farm bloodpoints for the grind is a bit annoying. And getting

  • What do you think of blood echo on Plague? It is not a very strong combination, but it was fun to see three dead hard countered by that perk in the post game lobby. On Plague (and maybe on Legion), it seems to work a bit... but the 60 seconds cooldown really make the perk decent (on that specific killer) at best. What's your thoughts?

  • I don't use the speed bottles of clown too much, because the slowdown ones are always more useful to use while in chase (in my opinion). The main problem i have with it... is the fact that it doesn't activate instantly; unlike its counterpart. Do you think that it would be a good idea to make it pop instantly?

  • When the five gens are done... but one survivor is hooked (in solo q). Do you go for the save? When i'm the last survivor hooked, i'd rather have my teammates escape as three than giving the killer more kills for no reason. But they always go to save me... and then i feel obligated to do the same (what doesn't always end well).

  • Autodidact take too much time to build up... and even then, you need to get skillchecks that don't come reliably. The problem with this perk is the inconsistency of skillchecks. For now, it hurts more your gameplay than it helps.

  • That add-on is clearly busted. It turns a weak killer into a "too" strong one (you need to be boosted, like me, to fail at downing survivors with it). But on another hand... it is so much fun to use. I played that add-on with a stupid build (devourer/ haunted/ undying): i think that it is how it feels to use boons (you thought you get rid of my power? I guess not HA HA HA). Before, i was thinking

  • When i play solo q i barely have any fun, because my teammates get demolished and the killer plays as much hard as he can... when his opponents aren't even competition. What are your tips/ strategies to help your solo q teammates? When i play serious, i bring BT (to help my team)... but even that doesn't seem enough to consistently have a chance at winning as a survivor.

  • So, currently, the perk decrease the terror radius of the user when he's in chase. What if it was reversed: make the terror radius smaller outside of chase. Wouldn't it be more interesting?

  • I like the way No Way Out function. I think that NOED could be reworked on the same model. Killers would have to work to get the full potential of the perk, and they would have a minimum to help with a come back in endgame.

  • BBQ and Chili is a very good perk for bloodpoints. But its aura reading ability has a lot of restrictions, and doesn't last that very long either. I'm thinking that you could increase the aura reading ability to six seconds instead of four... and that aspect would be godlike. What's your thoughts?

  • When i see that Leon perk with flashbangs, i'm wondering if the same couldn't be done with Pharmacy. Work for the equivalent of 100% of a gen: and get a syringe that heals you like a green/ brown medkit, or like the syringe add-on itself. Yeah, you'll probably need to cap it to 1 time use to prevent abuse. I also would like that change because the 80% speed bonus to opening chests should go to pl

  • To make myself clear, i don't want the old ruin to come back. But... i think i have an idea to bring it back on the corrupt intervention model. For 2 minutes, at the start of the trial, survivors have to hit old ruin skillchecks to complete a gen. I would totally be downed to change overwhelming presence, or any other useless perk, into that. What's your thoughts?

  • Why does this add-on that increase the ambush dash speed by 6% make the charge time 66% slower? When i look at spirit and her 5%/ 10% and 40% speed increase add-on (and her duration add-ons)... i don't see such a thing. So why create such drawbacks for Pig who is a weak killer?

  • Dead Hard is the best exhaustion perk period. Playing as or against it... just proves it. There is no other exhaustion perks that resets the chase anew as reliably as dead hard. That's why i think the perk is too powerful... since any other exhaustion perk (even sprint burst) doesn't have the same ability to offer a second chance in chase (multiple times per match, and per survivor). If you're a

  • Killer shack is a very strong looping structure between the window and the pallet. The fact that only Dead Dawg Saloon have a breakable wall to weaken it bugs me a bit. Why only this map? Wouldn't it be a good idea to implement it to every killer shack?

  • The only thing really keeping them from being consistently good perks is the fact that special attacks do not make them activate. Most killers use their special attacks to get downs that they wouldn't have got otherwise. Jolt could even be a "meta" perk if you could see which gens exploded with a notification (in my opinion).

  • Thematically, i love the video tape add-on for the pig. And, in my mind, since all survivors have traps on their head and all four traps get used... i thought that it was surely making pig stronger. But after playing it a couple times, except with rules set n°2, i think that pig was actually getting weaker since you can't pressure all survivors at once; and they get their traps off fast (but here

  • I made a topic recently about how i felt that make your choice wasn't really worth it in my opinion. I had the idea of combining those two perks back in my mind... and then i decided to try it out. To be honest, this combo felt to me like the enduring/ spirit fury one (meaning: a perk that greatly improves thanks to one other mandatory perk). What's your thoughts?

  • I thought that a killer that had a big range attack or a very strong power in general was turned into a 110% to make it more "fair". But why is the Artist a 115% then? Deathslinger/ Trickster aren't that powerful, and they are 110%: unlike the new killer. Why not let all killers be 115% anyway then?

  • I like to use ace in the hole to get a good item... since i get a little gift for escaping the trial. But, by using a chest perk, i see two problems: people who plunder chests without chests related perks... and very few chests. I think those two problems are tied together, maybe making more chests base kit could be a good quality of life change. I would also like ace in the hole (and plunderer's

  • The perk huntress lullaby is currently very underwhelming for a hex in my opinion. Would you change it or not? If yes, i have two suggestions: make it a basic perk that activates on the 5/6 th hook / or let it be a hex, but the perk is at full power since the beginning. What's your thoughts?

  • Adept for a killer is harder than survivor. You have to double pip as a killer... and escape as a survivor. Why killers do not get adept by killing four survivors? If you are coherent, then, to have adept as survivor... you should also be double piping in that case. But at least make the same amount of difficulty for one gameplay and the other.

  • So, now that third seal is also applied through special attacks (survivors become blind if they are hit by a basic or a special attack)... do you think that the hex perk is in a good spot? In my opinion, the blindness effect is not enough on its own. What's your thoughts?
