I like this game mode a lot because, you see variety of perks on both sides. And not the same, back to back each game. I also like the fact that you can choose items/ addons (specially for killers). Fun game mode, i'd love it if it would stay as permanent. I know this topic has already been made, but i hope seeing it multiple times might make a difference, i dunno…0 comments 21 views last activity

Hi, i'm 26 and i'm looking for people to SWF with but without comms (i want to play solo q with better teammates in summary). I'm not looking for people to win a tournament, i just want to play with people who are actually trying. I play on STEAM and i'm from France. If anyone is ever interested…3 comments 62 views last activity

Really, there is one bit of advice i'd like survivors to have when i play Solo Q: " TAKE THE KILLER AWAY FROM GENS/ HOOKS OR TEAMMATES ". It seems as much dumb as puting a "DON'T DRINK IT" on poison, but i guess its needed.1 comments 22 views last activity

From a killer point of view, the nerf to dead hard and decisive strike make the game feels way more light to play. The nerf to most gen defence perks (except ruin) isn't that terrible as for now. From a solo q survivor point of view... the experience is horrendous. Not only do survivors get smashed harder... but it also feels like many aren't even trying to seriously win anymore.4 comments 41 views last activity

What would you have preferred? I would have preferred old corrupt base kit because i think that early game slowdown does help the killer way more. If survivors group up its less than 10 more seconds/ If survivors splits it barely slow down anything in my opinion.7 comments 91 views last activity

What is your opinion about the changes to perks and gameplay mechanics? I'm really not digging any of it. I don't like the changes to base mechanics, and i don't like the changes to perks. I don't understand why nothing was done to help killers with the early game. I don't understand why meta gen defence perks got gutted. Dead Hard barely changed. NOED didn't really. It says all in the title, as far as i'm concerned... i'm very happy about an upcoming dead hard "rework"/ "nerf". Unfortunately, i'm terrified about the rework to the meta gen defence killer perks. Especially when nothing has been said about NOED (which is the only meta killer perk i have a problem with [as survivor])... but the gen defence perks that are fine are said to be changed. When i'm thinking of shorter cooldowns, i'm talking about Oppression/ Dragon's Grip/ Trail of Torment/ Thrilling Tremors (Thrilling could be at Tinkerer/ BBQ level of good with a shorter cooldown; what clearly isn't the case right now). All those perks could be great if the cooldown was closer to 40 seconds (for example). The same could be said for Blood Echo... but i think, here, that the cooldo0 comments 31 views last activity

What is the best Ruin? Skillchecks Ruin or Regressing Ruin? In your opinion, from a killer's perspective, was Ruin pre-rework better as a perk? Or is it Ruin post-rework that is stronger? As far as i'm concerned, i think Ruin post rework is better. Because it works at all level of play. What seemed to not be the case for old ruin.13 comments 161 views last activity

With the finisher mori, we will only be able to mori the last survivor... not the entire team. I'm a bit sad about it. I find moris pretty cool. I guess we still have devour hope... but that's not the same thing as getting all survivors on death hook, and execute them. Maybe Rancor could be redesigned to allow moris on death hook survivors... instead of having one free kill for no reason. I dunno3 comments 472 views last activity

I have a problem, as killer, with one loop on Haddonfield. I can't bypass the pumpkin, and i have to take a huge detour. Always losing a lot of distance on survivors. Am i the only one having an issue with this?0 comments 21 views last activity

Overall, the 6th year anniversary stream promised a lot of good things coming up. I'm just a bit worried about the overhaul to meta perks. Yes, dead hard/ BT feels unfair. NOED too. But Corrupt? DS? Pain resonance? Pop? Self-care? BBQ? Ruin? I have no problem with any of them. Even if you nerf the current meta, a new one will emerge next. What should be looked at, in my opinion, is if a perk is r34 comments 611 views last activity

It has been a little while since that Q and A... so, do you think that nerfing dead hard's distance is a good thing? Overall, i'd say yes. I'm welcoming any nerf to that perk. The question is "will it be enough in practice?". I don't know, but if dead hard ends up looking like those dead hard under clown intoxication... i'd get a good laugh.6 comments 61 views last activity

As a Pig player, you need to see boxes to interrupt survivors working on it... and get better slowdown. With this add-on, you lose that ability... just to see an aura for a few seconds, after the survivors removed their headtraps. What doesn't give you much snowball potential at all. For a purple add-on, this is pretty terrible. If the add-on was a brown and if you didn't lose the sight of boxes,7 comments 211 views last activity

It is not my idea, but it is the idea that was brought up by "QuestionedTurkey". I really liked it and decided to report it here because i think Starstruck Nurse is a bit unfair... and we never know what future insta-down perks could be implemented. Of course Nurse needs her first blink to be considered as a basic attack so she could use those perks... but her being able to use them on her second22 comments 251 views last activity

I didn't know anything changed, but today... my solo q survivor games were really good to play. I would say that i experienced an increase in the quality of the matches (meaning that they feel fairer: as in my team, as a whole, being able to stand up to the killer). My killer matches didn't change much... but i was already fine with it anyway (i mainly had a problem with solo q). Maybe, i'd say,0 comments 41 views last activity

I've just done the four man rancor mori challenge from Ohtofu. Yes, i need the first survivors to make mistakes and the last to accept to stun me (thank you so much by the way). But i did it. My build was: rancor/ nemesis/ no way out and knock-out. The addons were rules set n°2 and jigsaw's sketch. The map was Ormond. Knock-Out didn't do much to be fair...8 comments 252 views last activity

I've been trying Ohtofu's four man rancor mori... without any success. But, i did use Rules Set N°2 a bunch (with the add-on that give one more trap)... and i'm actually surprised by the amount of pressure i got from it. Its actually a good add-on. When it was a pink add-on... i had too little of it to see any difference over one game. But since they turn it into a green (that you can farm easily0 comments 52 views last activity

If the cooldown was removed, i think killers would have a great new tool to their arsenal. Every killer knows how tiring it is to go against exhaustion perks in general (especially because of dead hard)... so i think that giving them a tool to get rid of it consistently would be great. On the same note, Fearmonger is good (and other exhaustion add-ons)... but 5 seconds of exhaustion is really lit12 comments 151 views last activity

I've actually tried to do the challenge that Ohtofu is trying... without any success. Do you guys think it is possible or not? The main problem i have is that i have to give back some air to the survivors... and then it comes biting me in the back everytime. I could have easily got rid of multiple survivor before endgame... but then, i just can't kill them all "one after the other". There is alw26 comments 571 views last activity

I love the idea behind Huntress lullaby... but in most games you lose the Hex before the perk hits its full effect (and before that, its effect is negligible). Devour Hope has a a token system because insta-downing and morying survivors has the most powerful effect there can be. Making skillchecks more difficult is more on par with the effect that Ruin is providing. And if Ruin doesn't have a tok10 comments 91 views last activity

After seeing a mod that turned the survivor POV into the first person... i must say that a perk or an offering that would do that would be so hilarious.4 comments 51 views last activity

A survivor can let go on hook, but cannot suicide on the floor... when the hook only last 2 minutes, but bleeding on the floor last 4 minutes. Especially after seeing another topic on the subject, i think according a way to surrender when slugged could make some situations less tedious.18 comments 152 views last activity

Otzdarva made a video about Pig. He's saying that Pig has bad chase power, and relies on luck on boxes search to turn the tide. And that it isn't fair for the survivors. " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnUUBpuB9rQ ". Yes, Pig has bad chase power. The ambush is too easily countered. But to say that boxes searchs are unfair to survivors, when they get them off first try/ second try so much, is3 comments 101 views last activity

What do you think about those tests? Did you get a better experience than usual? Worse? No different? I would say the first three days felt good but not the last ones. What i dislike about the basic mmr system is that my solo q experience is different from my killer experience: when i play killer i have solid survivor teams... but not in solo q. With the mmr tests, my killer experience didn't c21 comments 331 views last activity

I've only seen, in these forums, people asking boons mechanic to be nerfed. But... wouldn't it be better to buff hexes mechanics instead. Like, if we compare boons to hexes... hexes are underwhelming because of their inconsistency. I'd rather take, for example, a built-in "old thrill of the hunt" (yes, the sound alert thing)... than a nerf to the boons. What do you think about it?16 comments 141 views last activity

So... booning a hex takes 24 seconds. But booning a dull totem takes 16 seconds... while cleansing a hex or a dull totem takes 16 seconds. I find it odd that only booning a hex is penalised. It would make more sense, to me, if booning in general (or working on a hex in general) had a speed penalty.6 comments 101 views last activity

After playing a lot of games with NOED as killer, i'll just say that i did get some wins (three kills or more) that i shouldn't have got (since no other perk would have turned the tide around "in those cases"). It kinda feels disgusting to chain downs, and kills, after only getting two hooks before the fifth gen popped. Before DS was reworked i had the same feeling towards it: it was cheap, so i10 comments 181 views last activity

When Nurse was killswitched, i didn't feel any difference... i felt the difference when she came back. I didn't miss her at all. She is annoying and boring as hell. I'm starting to think that Otzdarva was right when he said she should have power limitation like Oni.13 comments 121 views last activity

Played a bunch of games with provethyself lately... and i was gladly surprised to consistently hit 30k bloodpoints if i escaped the match (instead of a bit more than 20k). Killers perks that give bonus bloodpoints toward categories aren't necessary because you get it easily without it... but the same can't be said for survivors. I'd really love an equivalent of provethyself for altruistic actions1 comments 41 views last activity

Is it just me... or is there anyone else thinking that when it comes to weather and lighting, dbd maps feel a bit too much like "call of duty maps" instead of horror realms? We could play a bit with stormy/ rainy/ snowy/ foggy elements... i don't know, i feel like map reworks made the maps tones a bit too much lighter for a supposedly horror experience.4 comments 51 views last activity

It is a bit sad that you can't pair up Call of brine and Surveillance together because of that yellow color already applied to the gen (the same could be said about Eruption).0 comments 191 views last activity

I've seen a lot of people talking about how Huntress can hit you behind corners when you're under cover, and shouldn't have been hit. But, as far as i'm concerned, the only killer that does this to me a lot every trial is Nemesis... not Huntress. I dread way more that on Nemesis than Huntress... cause those hits with Huntress are very rare (what is not the case with Nemesis "in my experience").1 comments 31 views last activity

What if you increase the unhooking speed by 33% all match, and give 100% more bloodpoints for the whole altruistic actions (unhooking/ healing/ taking protection hit) all match; instead of what it currently does. Cause its current way of functioning do not make it attractive on any build in my opinion. Likewise, i find it really odd that provethyself enhances all cooperatives actions bloodpoints0 comments 11 views last activity

I think that getting only two perks (maximum) per bloodweb might be too little, and make the grind really tedious. Maybe, if we could get one more (so six perk slots available per bloodweb), it would ease the grind a little... but also not too much. Also, there is too many useless offerings (Scratched Coin/ Cut Coin/ Reagents/ Oaks/ Shrouds/ Luck etc.) that pollutes the bloodweb. And the same co1 comments 22 views last activity

I know that there is no confirmation about it. But i think that, in case that there is discussions about it, i'd say that making BT base kit without giving killers some help with gen defence will feel miserable. Also, I think that there is a way to help solo q players without penalizing killers as much: make it so BT protects the user of the perk when he is being unhooked by a teammate. A lot of people claim that Springwood is the worst dbd map/ realm. I personnaly disagree, and i think that Cowshed/ Gideon Meat Plant and Haddonfield are the absolute worst. For them, i have a clear idea of what should be nerfed and how. About Springwood though... not so much. I know that "house of pain" have problematic windows that allow to loop inside it... and that they should be permanently19 comments 481 views last activity

In your opinion, which is the strongest perk to use as a killer? No one escapes death or No way out? Having used both a bunch recently, i can say that NOED is really much much stronger than what "killer mains" make it out to be on these forums (even at high level of play).5 comments 101 views last activity

Between Nurse/ Blight/ Artist/ Spirit/ Huntress... who has the best aesthetic in your opinion? As far as i'm concerned, i think Spirit is the one that has the best aesthetic. I'd say Huntress is right behind her. Why? Because Nurse screeches annoys me, Blight is a friggin pinball and Artist throws pigeons.6 comments 91 views last activity

What is the map that you despise the most when playing killer? As far as i'm concerned, it is Gideon meat plant. It is pallet breaking simulator. (Don't mind this poll i accidentally pressed enter)21 comments 651 views last activity

*Video tape and Rules set n°2. Video tape by itself is not very good, but with Rules set n°2 they lose way more time looking for boxes. And if they activate their traps there is big snowball potential. *Amanda's letter + Jigsaw's sketch/ annotated plan. Since the buff to Amanda's letter. I'd say that this combination is decent, because you have three traps on top of the 16 meter aura-readi11 comments 572 views last activity

A while ago, i asked for tips about helping my solo q teammates. I used BT a lot to try to help my team. And it didn't work much. A lot of people said to use bond/ kindred. Bond is good too. But kindred is better since it also gives info about the killer. Unless my team is purposefully throwing... i'd say that knowing what is going on inside my teammate's head helps a bunch. Now, i use kindred on12 comments 211 views last activity

Should iron will be nerfed? And how? As far as i'm concerned, i think iron will is only really problematic against the spirit. That's why i think that iron will should be nerfed: survivors should still have breathing sounds (and they should be heavier than healthy breathing sounds).16 comments 311 views last activity

Do you think medkits needs nerfing? And how? As far as i'm concerned, i think that only the green medkit is really problematic (with the boost to self-healing speed). The brown, yellow and purple ones are fine in my opinion.6 comments 101 views last activity

In your opinion, should BT duration be shortened? I think that BT duration is a bit much and make bodyblocking not too dangerous because of it. But i don't think it should be below 8 seconds. What's your thoughts?11 comments 112 views last activity

Typically, as a survivor, i saw noed in one match out of ten. But yesterday, it was rather the opposite. So... did the Nurse killswitch pushed killers towards it? Or was it nothing more than a random thing?22 comments 151 views last activity
