Out of curiosity, I kept a list of the maps I played in order because it felt like I was getting Shelter Woods way too often. Well, it turns out that I get Wrecker’s Yard the most often, at least for the moment, and I haven’t been to Springwood in a while. Unscientific so take it for whatever its worth (* connotes that an offering was used). Shelter Woods Wrecker’s Yard Thompson House Azar13 comments 231 views last activity

This has to be one of the toughest I have come across. The only ultra rare items are rainbow maps and keys, and it doesn’t count if you use the key to escape through the hatch. AND you have to do it twice. Very tricksy.10 comments 201 views last activity

Why does this lousy map pop up as often as it does? WHY?!29 comments 411 views last activity

I’m not talking about getting rid of hatch escapes, I don’t want that particular aspect nerfed. But the aura reading abilities are a bit redundant with various perks. How about using them for what keys are basically designed for and have them open boarded up doors? Thoughts?25 comments 281 views last activity

I always thicken. I don’t know why I’d ever make it easier for the killer to see me across the map, but maybe it has an advantage I’m not aware of?4 comments 191 views last activity

Okay, okay, okay. I know that it isn’t the “greatest” totem related perk that we have, but still I have to give it props. There has been at least three times in the last couple of days (I haven’t been using it much, honestly) where I have managed to cleanse a fairly closely guarded lit totem that I wouldn’t have been able to do without that added 20% stacking effect. I’m sure you’ve been there before where the killer is absolutely insistent upon getting that 4K and will keep dropping you until you get up and get so tired of the game that you will just lead him to the other person. I just had a round like that and instead of playing any more I just got up to do something else. It went on for like 15 minutes longer than it should. I pushed the button on him tak43 comments 681 views last activity

I’ve long found Legion highly irritating to go against, but I recently stumbled upon something that I have a question about. When I downed a pallet Legion jumped over it, but then I immediately jumped back across it. He then jumped over it again and so I jumped back. I did it a third time and then he broke out of feral frenzy and I laughed. Does jumping over a pallet have a slight cooldown time w6 comments 171 views last activity

Stridor makes regular breathing 25% louder and grunts of pain 50% louder. Purple Iron Will cuts grunts of pain down to 0%. I know what they mean, but it irritates me that the description for Stridor is improperly worded. Multiplying zero by any number is still going to be zero. discuss.110 comments 1,833 views last activity

I don’t get it. Certain rounds go by and it’s like nobody tries to hide when a person is hooked even when it is completely obvious that it’s in play. Just had one against a Blight that would down people across the map mere seconds after a hook. These aren’t noobs either they’re in red ranks like I am. What is it? Cockiness? Some random challenge? Or is it they just don’t care? I get a little flus41 comments 561 views last activity

I know it has been brought up before, but damn, the requirements for this trophy are so damned unfair. I killed all 4 survivors using Michael Myers’ three perks 100% exactly the way they should be used and even though I got merciless killer I didn’t earn it. Why? Because his perks are dependent upon not touching the obsession and letting her escape chases, which makes it impossible to earn an iri11 comments 172 views last activity

Played two games against a trapper and was getting very aggravated that small game wasn’t giving me notifications about his traps. I mean I was looking right at one and it wasn’t going off! Then I noticed in the perk description they removed all mentions of killer traps. Terrific. Wish I got the damned memo.26 comments 391 views last activity

Last week I was working on the stun challenge for the rift, so I used Head On. Another player saw me hide in a closet and began jumping back and forth to notify the killer of my presence and when he showed up he began pointing at me. The killer listened to him and pulled me out (because he came at an angle and I didn’t hit the action button in time). I got hooked, then unhooked when he was clos0 comments 31 views last activity

For me: It was the Sanctum of Wrath map. The Trickster spawned at the top of the Shrine facing me. Technically not within the minimum distance, but we were still well within view of each other. Fortunately the killer wasn’t very good and I managed to fake him out and escape, but I still couldn’t believe it happened.13 comments 161 views last activity

Last night I responded to a thread that happened to be a few years old and immediately got flack from another member. I made a slightly sarcastic comment about how in the future I’ll stick to making threads about nerfing NOED like a lot of people do, and then went to bed. This morning I wake up to find that I had a response but then found that the entire thread was deleted. Most message boards fr31 comments 841 views last activity

I just had a Claudette for no rhyme nor reason near the beginning of the match begin slamming closet doors near me and then trapping me in a corner until we both get crows. Ghostface comes along, marks both of us, she goes down and then I make it down the bottom of the stairs of the Pale Rose before I’m down, too. Right now I’m on “A True Friend”. Even if I get a full stack for WGLF we’re still talking about 5 games minimum for 3 rift points. So far I’ve played two games and got zero in the first and two in the next. Good times!14 comments 221 views last activity

Has anybody even attempted this yet? I think I’m going to save this one for dead last. Not only do I have to use one of the lamest perks available, but I actually have to stun the killer with that specific pallet? Holy sheet. Pass.38 comments 712 views last activity

Just had a match with an swf team that seemingly didn’t have much interest in escape, they just wanted to continually stun me with Head On by leading me on chases that would go past lockers their friends were hiding in. If I was a sweaty killer I would have been annoyed but I actually found it kind of hilarious! They weren’t trying to escape but funny enough I wasn’t trying to win either, I just4 comments 51 views last activity

Really. If you read up on the mythology of tricksters their chief ability is to impersonate or shapeshift. It would be a far more interesting killer to play against than some cheesy looking dude with knives.28 comments 291 views last activity

Self explanatory. Or maybe it is working and its only me that can hear my grunts in pain? But I don’t think that’s the case the way the killer has been behaving.11 comments 171 views last activity

I keep thinking somebody used a key in the hatch to escape but they haven’t. One time it even appeared as if there was a fifth survivor in the game. Weird. Anyways it kind of messed with me a little because it made me go for hook saves I didn’t need to.0 comments 71 views last activity

I’ve never used Nurse before, so rather than trying to kill everybody I just used my first round as an opportunity to figure out the blink mechanic. Well, I barely had the opportunity to do so because all everybody did was gen rush and leave. I thought it did, but I just played against him and even though I didn’t scream, he was obviously still getting the alert to where I was hiding. Did they rework it or is it glitched now? Or has he always been able to know where I am and I was just being stupid?5 comments 451 views last activity

Wow. My least favorite map matched with my least favorite killer to go against, and I’ve had 2 out of 3 games in the last hour that way. Fantastic update. Oh well, I guess I’m just going to have to put the game aside for a few days until the thrill is gone. New graphics look nice though.6 comments 121 views last activity

No Mither. Unlimited chances to revive from the dying state, downside is it only takes one hit to put you there. Another downside is that your grunts of pain easily alerts killers to your presence. Another downside is if the killer see you wounded without cause he is going to know you are using the perk and will hook you immediately, therefore never allowing you to be able to use it. Maybe some o11 comments 141 views last activity

If a wounded survivor comes to you and crouches, heal them. If you unhook someone, don’t automatically assume they want healing. If they want to be healed they will follow you. Don’t follow them unless they are immediately heading for a nearby gen that’s close to repaired. Don’t be pushy with healing others at the expense of getting objectives done. I have 9,000 shards and these two are the only ones left to buy. I don’t really plan on playing either of them, especially Clown who I hate. But I have a “collect em all” personality. Which should I get or should I just save the points for the next chapter?9 comments 101 views last activity

Seriously. I’d probably be up to level 90 on Eloise by now if leveling up didn’t stop at 50, and I still haven’t gotten self care, and I just barely got Iron Will and Spine Chill. To exacerbate the problem is that it won’t really give me any green perks. I have a whole lot of yellows and purples, and if I manage to get a green perk when I refresh the bloodweb it will offer me that same perk again9 comments 671 views last activity

I’m fixing a gen but the killer is coming so I need to go hide. However, as soon as I let go of the button to stop the repair a skill check is initiated and the damn gen blows, naturally alerting him to my presence. I figure it’s just coincidence but... WHY?!!! For the love of all that’s holy. It doesn’t happen all the time, but definitely more than it should.10 comments 131 views last activity

This is a true story and happened just last night. I played dbd. Round 1 against Leatherface. He sees me and tunnels me. No matter how hard I try to escape, no matter how many sharp turns around objects I do or pallets I drop because he goes through them like butter, as soon as he revs up that saw, I go down. “Goddamn sunovabitch mothereffer I can’t stand this bleeping killer!!!” Round 2: Co48 comments 1,011 views last activity

Maybe just keep this as an idea for a DBD 2, but how about dividing perks into 4 tiers? We would still have 4 perk slots but to use stronger perks you would need to use more slots. For instance, you have a yellow, green, and purple Iron Will. You want your grunts of pain to be 100% silent? Or faster self care? That will be all 4 perks slots, please. If you can live with lesser versions of perks t4 comments 41 views last activity

What I mean is, why aren’t there more hexes that activate dull totems only when certain conditions are met? Hex totems are active from the moment the game begins and are easily spotted. NOED seems the be the only one I can think of that isn’t like that. They should remedy that with future killer perks.5 comments 101 views last activity

Match starts and within second I notice Myers in the distance so I hide until he passes. Not too far away I notice he slows so obviously he begins stalking somebody else. I take the opportunity to make some distance between us, but NO! The person that is getting stalked sees that she is being stalked and sees me running off in the distance so what does she do? She follows me! So now Myers notices0 comments 41 views last activity

I don’t always remember who played what survivor so it would be nice if the score card at the end there was an picture next to the player’s name of the survivor. Some times you can guess by the perks but it isn’t always possible especially if everybody is using meta builds. It wouldn’t change a thing about the game itself but it would be handy to have.2 comments 91 views last activity

It’s a combination of aggravating and humorous in a way how some rounds it feels like everything and every one is conflicting with each other. Take for example, one challenge you need to use Deliverance once in a game. Now, in a normal game where everyone is playing the way they should it isn’t hard at all. But at the moment? It took me three rounds because in the first game the killer was obviou0 comments 41 views last activity

I got this game free through PS Plus a couple of years ago and played two games before giving it up. I remember the graphics being on par with Roblox. Dear sirs and madams, I was the Doctor. The map was Haddonfield. The round wasn’t going my way so I was fully content and satisfied with my one hook. The gates were open and you were free to go. But no, you got greedy and had to go for that hook save. Borrowed Time? Apparently the only person with BT was on the hook. So instead of me getting one sacrifice I wound up getting 3. Distortion has become one of my favorite perks, but Undying rips through it like nothing. You wind up using two tokens just to cleanse one totem. Is this a bug or intended? It doesn’t seem quite right to me because Undying is only supposed to work for up to 6 seconds but my Distortion lasts 10. A totem shouldn’t be setting off my distortion a second time. I understand the logic of teaming with a killer before hand. I don’t agree with it but I understand it. But in the middle of the game? I had a person constantly trying to make noise to get the killer’s attention and pointing in my direction today. To make matters worse I was bonded to them because of aftercare so I couldn’t escape them no matter what but fortunately with respect to the killer (PH4 comments 281 views last activity

When I’m the last survivor a lot of times I don’t want to look for the hatch, so I just wait by the gate control until the killer finds the hatch and closes it. It surprisingly works a lot more often than you would think but the hatch really needs to be on the far side of the map. It’s a strategy I wouldn’t really try against somebody like Hillbilly that can traverse the map in seconds though.8 comments 131 views last activity

This isn’t a complaint, just as observation. As someone that plays both roles I think it’s a good thing for the killer. But man, as a survivor I have a hard time finding it even with small game. I’ll find myself circling it over and over again and still not see it because it’s hidden in a shadowy corner or under a desk or blending into a wall. I think Undying is a detriment in a lot of ways becau4 comments 121 views last activity

Two things about it need improvement. 1) When you’re Charlotte you can always see Victor’s aura, EXCEPT when he latches onto somebody. She’s far too slow to locate a moving target if she’s more than a few feet away before he’s crushed. This needs to be rectified. 2) When Victor is left alone we get an alert if somebody is close to him. This power should work both ways. When we’re in control of5 comments 71 views last activity
