So it doesn’t become a free down?
The whole killer concept is a free escape so i don't see how getting a power much difficult to escape twice a trial is that strong.
-
Even if i had 5 perk slots i wouldn't run it over other info perks. I'll just stick to Kindred as an info perk if i even use it, there's so much better options than stacking info perks nowadays, seems pointless to me wasting slots on them. I never see myself replacing DS or Iron Will for aftercare, the info that it gives is almost irrelevant most of the time anyways. And the fact that this perk depends on the killer not hooking you to be useful.
I would definetly use it over Kindred (not stacked with it) on altruistic builds if they buffed it that you don't lose the effects after you get hooked.

First of all, nobody is banned on reports alone, evidence is always required. If you were not actively taking part in the cheating in the game - you have nothing to worry about. Video evidence is required in cases like this and that would show the actual situation. Our team of ACM's knows exactly what to look out for, and are used to dealing with things like this.
Our Easy Anti Cheat is also constantly being updated to remove cheats like this and people are banned (contrary to popular belief), it's unfortunately a never ending circle however, because people constantly update their cheats and bypass the system, then the EAC is updated again for that, and then over and over.
I think it's time to update your game and use some logs or ingame recordings so we don't have to use 3rd party software to be able to report cheaters or get totally ignored... And btw, just using video evidence would show that survivor healing himself instantly and probably get him banned even if he wasn't cheating.
-
They are actually too soft. I don't care if you didnt' ragequit and it's because of your internet, you are screwing over your teammates when you dc whatever the reason might be and there should be a punishment that escalates the more you do it. If you have bad connection you shouldn't play a team multiplayer game.

I mean ggs but you got 11k bp, wouldnt get out my bed for that. Whatever floats your boat though.
Not that i could get much more, one survivor had his head popped, the other dc'd and i had to rescue the last one off the hook while she was facecamping. The point of this post was just to share this build since i found it very unique, not to cry for nerfs or anything.

Barring solo que you should only really get 1 kill with this. Still dumb imo
Yeah, the smart thing to do is 99 all gens. But nobody will do that if not on coms.

Dowsey also thought Pinhead was S tier.
I remember that lol.
Nah she has S tier potential but not even close to nurse, the way nurse can ignore game mechanics makes her highest potential much higher than any killer.

franklin's is better anyway against flashes because that way they waste more time trying to flash you and going back for their item, if they realize you have lightborn they will just stop trying
-
I wish MMR was public and it was required to link your DBD account to make comments in these forums, I wouldn't be surprised that some of you don't even have the game installed...

I didn't know that the 4 survivors need to be on gens for the game to progress. Well i guess i can learn something new every day.

I feel that wraith is D tier again because of the healing meta, completly destroys its playstyle. The nerf to his lunge is just adding injury to insult.

Again. Anyone can act pretentious and think that just because a perk is strong, their match is going to succeed. This isn’t exactly reproducing when you aren’t doing gens because you’re spending too much time blessing totems and healing.
Bottom line is your skill and the killer’s skill matters just as much.
Ok ######### it then, buff those perks, make them 300% speed, bigger area, and faster to activate because you are wasting time if you are not doing gens or something like that am i right? I'm tired of people that pretend that the only thing that gives value is m1ing gens nonstop and the rest is just wasting time.

I agree with you.
There is a segment of this community that loves to use very specific scenarios to fit their own biased opinions.
You mean a specific scenario that can be reproduced every single game just by being in a SWF group? Oh yeah very specific.

I mean, ok
they've said they're probably gonna add a way to separate competitive and casual players, so they'll probably add a ranked and casual mode
there, you wont have MMR
Wait they did? Please link it if you have it in hand or tell me where did they say it.

Congrats, you have an advantage and can coordinate in a SWF. Now try to do the same in solo q.
You can't do that in soloq, that's the whole idea of doing it in a swf, to coordinate the build and movements so it works. I barely play solo q (just for the rift), i'm not a masochist.

I mean... They said Sprint Burst was better. They weren't necessarily talking about distance.
Better can refer to the fact that:
- Sprint Burst can be used while injured unlike Overcome.
- Sprint Burst can be used against instadown killers or exposed perks.
- Sprint Burst can be used to quickly get to a hooked teammate after popping a generator before they hit struggle.
etc.
Or to keep it short: Sprint Burst can be used when you want to whereas Overcome depends entirely on the killer hitting you.
Sprintburst has the requirement of 99ing it to use in situations outside of running away when you are doing a gen. I don't think it's fair to say it can be just used when you want when you have to work towards it. Overcome might be worse than sprintbust by itself, that i agree with, but paired with healing items/perks i think it's much better (except against instakill effects) since overcome gives you considerably more distance and when you get hit you pretty much lose the killer with the amount of distance you make.
This is just my theory though, i haven't played the PTB, i've just seen the comparison of distance.
-
Step 1. Use this perk with Circle of Healing/Purple medkit+botany (just healing stuff to summarize)
Step 2. Get hit, run to the other side of the map, heal yourself
Step 3. Repeat
-
The thing is that as both survivor and killer looping and chasing around jungle gyms, LTs, shack is really fun the better you get at it. The other option is safe pallets everywhere (the Game) wich makes chases very boring and with less skill cap. I agree with the map size though, they should be smaller like Rancid Abattoir, i think it's the perfect map.

hmmm, it’s almost as if i could pretend to paint the worst case scenario ever as a “survivor main” so my post gets traction and get people hating on it thus demanding change whilst making a oopsie and stating my true intent on nerfing swf and boons because i actually play killer in my follow up replies…. oh wait.
What the hell have you been smoking. I'm a killer main, and I play survivor on fridays with friends. This is like the most reddit tier cringe response.

Wait.... Does Soul Guard activate with Boons?
The new boon totem gives you +100% speed recovery speed and able to pick up yourself so it doesn't matter if there's hex totems or no, your soulguard will activate.

I mean, you could just choose not to do that once it gets dull winning without a challenge, right? not judging, but that kind of sounds like the survivor equivalent of facecamping. it feels like a dull free win.
Nah not really, we are having a lot of fun. We could just not do it, or even better, they could balance swf and boon totems so when we play killer we don't have to face this bullshit.

There's plenty that you can do.
Get something to drink or eat.
Take a look outside.
Check out YouTube.
Exactly that, just tab out like if you were waiting in queue. If you add an option to kill yourselves people will grief teammates many times like when you could [commit stop living] on hook immediately.
-
The killer should be able to stomp and break the blessed totems. I still can't understand how anybody thinks that giving so much value with just 1 survivor slot is even close to be balanced.
-
I doubt they will nerf grim embrace or the hex. Grim embrace has a strong requirement to activate (4 unique hooks) and the effect is 30 seconds longer of a game, it's good but not gamebreaking. And the Hex is a hex so... What i hope they nerf is the boon totem. "Let's give all survivors an area better unbreakable for just 1 perk slot, what could go wrong?"

In the past, good Killers expected 4/3ks with little resistance. They could run meta builds and on their mains and have a really dominant performance.
Now since MMR, Killers generally get 1-3ks when playing well. Playing extra sweaty doesn't result in an absolute steamroll most of the time. Personally, I think its healthier and Killers have been slowly changing their mindsets from expecting a 4k to expecting a 2k and being pleasantly surprised if they get more.
It's a painful process to change expectations, but the Devs always said the goal was 2ks. At least getting all four BBQ stacks for max points is still pretty realistic every game.
If you change the expectations for killers to be 2K then no wonder the meta has changed to hard camping, it's the most efficient way to earn your win. This + the removal of hit and run has made killer incredibly unfun to play.
-
180? I can do like 90º. I guess it's just a feature like the nurse blink perma exhaustion. Until they change it like Blight's jflick keep using it.
-
Survivors play at normal sound and hear the killer from 32 meters away, how is that fair?

This toxic pc elitism needs to end.
Not everyone can afford a 3k pc to play dbd well.
And not everyone wants to be hunched over a desk. Some people like to sit back and "try" to enjoy dbd while playing on their couch with a tv(or in my case, in handheld mode).
More like 500 bucks. It's not my fault that you don't want to be on a desk so don't make the rest of us miserable because of your laziness. Imagine instead of asking the devs to fix the game for other platforms ask them to ruin it for PC players. Spoiler, the game is also buggy and bad optimized even on PC.
-
"I have a bad experience with the game so let's make everyone else make a bad experience too". Lmao get a PC and stop whining.

Sure, why not. That's how dead hard is used, why should it be different for killers?
Because it's lame, same as deadhard
-
You would just lunge to gain distance
-
Oh ######### i totally forgot about the SCP universe, there's so many creative SCPs that could fit into DBD.
-
I would pick the darkest and hardest to see. There wouldn't really be customization, just the one that gives you the most advantage.

God you must be low then because even as a solo survivor i have been on teams that cleanse all the totems. This has only happened during a new tome release and people are doing the cleanse totem challenges, but it has happened and we did escape because the totem timer is shared between 4 people.
If everyone cleanses a totem on sight then there was only really 14 seconds of downtime to cleanse 4 totems.
I guess I'm the terrible one at the game and not the ones wasting time cleansing totems instead of just spotting them. Keep cleansing them buddy, you are helping my killer games lol. Are you going to pretend that in your TOP MMR league everyone's cleansing totems? I feel like i live in an alternative reality in these forums sometimes.
-
Somehow i allways end up tunneling 4 different survivors in the same game in end game chat

Depends on your mmr rank. A decent team or swf will clear all totems before the last gen pops, or at least find the totem after a single hook.
This is not true at all, I have never in the entire 4k hours of this game seen my NOED not activate due to all totems being cleansed, and i've faced a lot of SWF, why the hell would they waste time cleansing dull totems? Sure, sometimes they cleanse it very fast once its active but most the time you at least get 1 down with it before they realize they have to cleanse it.

It only gets you 1k most of the time.
Getting 1k out of 1 perk is more than enough to justify the slot.
-
@GannTM said:
NOED isn’t even good lmao
Maybe it isn't "op" but it's a great perk. I don't get why so many people think it's not good, it's top tier specially in today's meta.
-
Yeah sure let's give survivors 7 perk slots, what could go wrong, as if the boon totems didn't give enough value already.

Wowowo don't talk about my mum like that.
-
I understand that skillchecks are somewhat arbritary on what they are but on DS is totally justified and it creates funny situations. Please don't lobby to remove that skillcheck.
-
I hope this is intended or they are even more clueless on game balance than i thought
-
It's pathetic that they do not handle Exceptions to determine what was the cause of the disconnect to be able to discriminate between crashes and ragequits. They have said they can't do that but anything about that has done a class in programming knows this is bullshit.
-
Because now the meta for survivors is smashing gens, healing at double speed and leaving. The meta for killers is committing to one survivor, camping him and try to get 2 more kills and hope they ######### up.
They completly removed hit and run that was what made the game playable without having to camp to get more than 2 kills.
-
Chad tribalist tribe vs virgin antitribalist tribe
-
There's no actual public MMR, so hours is the most accurate thing there is to show the experience you have at the game at least. And i doubt you have reached any skill cap in any killer or survivor with 400h unless you are a literal god. All the little details you keep learning make a real difference.
-
There needs to be whataboutism or only one side gets what he asks for.

If the point is still relevant it doesn't matter how old is it, just don't listen to the forum nerds.
