And how exactly does this effect posts on this forum? At what point does a post that is posted today become too old to continue posting in ( necrotized ) ?
If a post is over a few months old then usually if it's resurrected we'd delete the comments and close as a necro. A lot depends on the relevancy of the topic and the need to bring it up again. For example, if someone posted on a 2 year topic about NOED - then comments would be deleted and closed because there's far more recent posts. Also, in a Live game, things change - which is why the necro rule is in place here. If in doubt, start a new topic.

Ok I looked up Necrotizing to see if I could get an answer, and necrotizing is a type of illness that damages your flesh, almost "eating" it.
