As youre information by a other Side, i guess that this Post here is enough for the Report, i don't know why you opend one to if you can attach youre information here to, well you Double posted then this Issue because the Ground is the same ^^
Simple - I could not link a video here.
-
I am used to the dedicated servers not responding but now that we are getting DC penalties from it is ridiculous and this does not bode well for the go-next prevention
-
This is not an issue. I just ran the add on, the traps did not start activated
-
Nah, dude. This is 100% a skill issue. I am a Myers main, an M1 killer who is mostly slow and would never in my life suggest nerfing window vaults. Skill issue.
We might as well disable survivor's ability to hold the shift key, or crouch, or drop pallets… or do gens… or open the exit gate.
What you are suggesting would completely ruin this game.
You chose to main Onryo. That is on you and a basic mechanic of this game should not be changed because you want the game to be easier.
-
You must be NA west because I dont know what it is about survivors in these servers but it seems they are allergic to generators.
Yes, this happens way too much which is why I run Kindred when I play solo q (which is almost always).
The best thing the devs can do to fix this issue is fix the MMR. There is absolutely no reason someone with 7k hours should be teamed up with someone at 100 hours in game. It needs to be based on more than just escapes because the new survivors hide in terror and might get out more than someone who is actually facing the killer.

I never said 0% changes will benefit killers. I said the anti-slugging project, that's literally supposed to be a multi-phased project, is so far 100% survivor sided, with 0% announcements, or anything to imply that killers are ever going to get anti-slugging things in their favor.
And the map offering thing hurts both sides of the game. Some killer builds are just plain awful if you can't choose a map. And it still heavily favors survivors, because if they pick 4 separate maps, it's still a 1 - (.8*.8*.8*.8) = 59% chance they get a map offering they want, compared to the 20% the killer gets when they bring a map offering.
And we already know that "adjustments to the kill rate" are sometimes just flat number buffs, with zero quality of life improvements. Kill rate adjustments are sometimes literally slightly faster kicking speed, which is a zero quality of life improvement.
Because that is how these balance changes sometimes work. Survivors sometimes get real quality of life improvements, and killers are just promised a certain kill rate, like it's a giant present that killers should be grateful for, as opposed to something necessary for the game.
I mean the anti-slug project is absolutely survivor sided. Killers don't need anything to help them, they can just… STOP SLUGGING. Simple as that. That is something they (you) have control of all on their (your) own and don't need help. Survivors need the help because they (we) cannot control if/when/how a killer slugs.
You all will just find another way to make this game miserable for survivors, it's what you do best.
The surrender option will absolutely help killers and will increase slugging not fix it. Imagine going into a stream for the first time and watching someone 4 man slug as billy then walk around the map to pick up their slugs while running deerstalker and actually saying "I can't wait for the surrender option to go live so it makes these games quicker and I don't have to pick everyone up and deal with a possible 4%)
Again, stop slugging and we wouldn't even be here.

It tools years to finally change a perk on the killer used solely for griefing.
Now, survivors are punished for using their only deterrent against killers.
I do not disagree with this at all. I like the idea of it but I do not think it was fully thought out because yes it is going to cause issues against certain killers and literally punish survivors for using god pallets. I hope it does not go live the way it is.
Honestly, I would have been fine with them mostly keeping KO the way it was, extend the slowdown on recovery and crawl speed and maybe make the aura block 5 seconds that way killers can use it to try and prevent flashlight saves which is what it was MEANT to be used for but it doesn't kill solo q when the aura is only blocked for a few seconds.

@danielmaster87 said:
It became a healthy perk when hooking became unviable. Now they'll just have to go back to tunneling, and hoping that's enough.
I doubt the new version of the perk is gonna take off, but I could be wrong. Survivors just move so fast compared to the killer, the slowdown will probably hardly matter.
It was never a healthy perk and by claiming it was, as Scott Jund says, "is a self report that you needed to beat up new players and solo q players."

I never said knock out should have remained the way it was.
What I am saying is that if slugging is a problem that needs to be fixed, it should be fixed on BOTH SIDES of the game. But when BHVR nerfs Knock Out, and allows survivors to surrender early when everyone is slugged, it's basically only fixing the problems that negatively affect survivors.
BHVR could have easily made or announced anti-slugging things that would benefit killers, that would help reduce the frustration that happens when killers are repeatedly forced to slug. But none of that happened. Badham + basement in shack, is still a super grief that survivors can do. Any all the other ways that killers can be forced to slug is still fully intact in the game.
Except that the map offering change will combat your badham situation so what do you mean nothing has changed to help killers? Plus look at the list in the above post. As I said before, you are grasping at straws and jumping on the "only killers get nerfed" bandwagon without actually looking at it from both sides. You think that hook related perks have been nerfed too much? Then why is pain res still the most picked survivor perk? You get 20% more regression towards a gen hooking on a pain res than you do slugging a survivor while the other three could be making progress on gens. Then you probably complain about gen rushers.

When survivor burn a Badham offering and a "basement in shack" offering, they are going into the game with the intention of purposely hanging out in the school basement, where it's literally impossible to get them to a hook.
But for whatever reason, that's not considered unhealthy even though it's literally 100% being done to grief the killer. However, if killers try to slug for the 4k, it's demonized and considered unhealthy for the game, even though they're literally doing it to raise their kill rate.
Again, if you are bringing in knockout, you are bringing that before you know that the survivors are bringing this. No I do not agree with survivors bringing builds like that or playing like that and yes you have to slug in that situation, but that you blame that rare occasions like that as an excuse for running a perk like knockout or slugging in every game.
You are grasping at straws and looking for the rare situations to justify a very unhealthy playstyle.
In the situations where slugging is necessary, it's necessary. Knockout is by no means a perk to bring when slugging is necessary, as I said previously, it is a perk to bring when you go into the match with the intention of slugging.
And if you want to talk about things being nerfed for used for griefing, then I guess the ability to move forwards and backwards needs to be nerfed on killer. Something tells me you make use of those frequently too.
-
Lets address that they said slugging was not an issue before they implemented the finisher mori. They posted stats at that time. I would love to see where the stats are now with the finisher mori being a thing for… how long?
Those of you complaining about the need to slug can do it with similar results, you get the win against solo q and you get rekt against a swf; that will not change with the KO update. Get over it. Stop making the games miserable for survivors. When I play killer, I don't have to slug to win (past the occasional opportunistic slugging). If you have to slug to win, that's a skill issue.
Waaaaaahhhhhhh our slowdowns were nerfed. Maybe if you all didn't stack and abuse them, that wouldn't have happened. Survivor's DH, Adrenaline and Background Player were all nerfed too but you all seem to forget about those.

It sends the message that when slugging is the killer’s choice, it’s frustrating and should be fixed. But if survivors force the killer to slug, it’s not frustrating, and doesn’t need to be fixed.
Survivors are still dedicating builds to making themselves unable to be hooked, but that’s not frustrating, and doesn’t need to be fixed? When I play against SWFs that swarm the area with flashlights, flashbangs, and sabotage toolboxes, to force the killer to slug... that isn’t frustrating, and doesn’t need to be fixed?
Is slugging an issue on both sides of the game, or is it only an issue when it’s the killer’s choice to slug?
If youre bringing knock out - you are going into the game with the intention of slugging. That is not situational that is intentional and you cannot blame that on the way survivors play.
-
Why is no one bringing up his zero cooldown bug so he can hit you with his power and immediately m1 you. That is just as bad

Dude, are killers not allowed to play to win? That's what you're saying, as justification for all of this speculation. I don't play to make survivors miserable. I'm just playing the game, and if these strategies are required to win, I will use them. The killer perks really have been nerfed to the ground, to where mediocre stuff like Brutal Strength and Agitation are probably in the top 10 killer perks now, because at least you get something from them. And there are survivor perks, which haven't really been touched that counter all these strategies like tunneling and slugging. Use them.
YOU may not play specifically to make survivor's lives miserable but there are many that do.
A killer slugging at 5 gens is playing to win any way they can not caring that they are making survivors games miserable.
People keep saying killer perks were "nerfed to the ground" yet all I see in my games are pop/pain res/grim even after the nerf because those perks are still strong. They may not be as strong as they were but guess what, there are survivor perks that have been "nerfed to the ground" in the same respects.
Personally, I do not care what perks a killer runs, I care how they play and unfortunately most of them play like total turds. I played three matches of 1v4 last night and all three were a 4 man slug. Keep in mind, I solely play solo q.

Does this change what happens when you face a good blight/Wraith/Nurse while injured? Again we were told by you the problem legion in 2v8 is their teammate (which isnt a problem with having legion here to begin with), has the goal post moved to legion makes it easy to injure? We'll ignore how legion has to find people to start with like everyone else, has a cd, practically cant down with their power, how everyone in 2v8 has basekit no where to hide and a watered down version of dark sense to find survivors.
Everyone can hate legion all they want, thats their opinions and feelings, but legion aint breaking the freaking mode/are op/adding some new type of misery. Thats where we're getting at.
No, Legion is the problem, not the teammates. I am saying you cannot compare Legion to 1v4 because there is no second killer to cleanup the mess. I am saying you cannot compare Legion to other killers in 2v8 because there is not another killer that can run around the map in power chasing killer instinct potentially injuring at least half if not every survivor in one power usage.
I understand you do not agree with this and that's fine but if you really cannot see there is a difference in pressure between Legion and every other killer then you clearly need to go play more survivor

And then thats the problem with legion? Their teammate? Not legion themselves? We got another question then. Lets say a good blight injured you and left you to go murder someone else. What would you do? Would you go looking for someone to heal you? Would you use a medkit you had on hand to self care? Would you do a gen while injured? Depends on the situation right? Same thing. Sometimes your gonna need to work injured against a good bleet, huntress, crow, whatever and need to be more cautious (in 2v8s that usually means lockers or booking it at first sign of trouble). If the partner was super good then you were going down anyways and legion just speed it up by smacking you and running off just like if a wraith smacked you and ran off.
Lets move the scene. Say that in this 2v8 theres a good (skill wise) huntress and spirit. This spirit has been going for hit and runs rapidly, bouncing all over the map just hurting people with an occasional down. Huntress meanwhile cleans up the injured via hatchet applied to face. Switch out spirit for legion and theres little practical difference from our point of view (atleast if the huntress in this scenario is part of the duo or is paying enough attention).
[Apologies if we sound snappy. Having our civility being spited irked some of us]
DIfferences are
Blight, sure fast however uses rushes, loses rushes and has to recharge them, cannot get multiple hits with one power and requires some skill plus has to find survivors
Wraith has to come out of power for the hit, then go back into cloak to unclock again for next hit plus has to find survivors
Spirit has to wait for phase to charge, come out of phase for a hit and wait for it to charge again and requires some skill plus has to find survivors
Nurse has to wait for blinks to charge and requires some skill plus has to find survivors
Huntress has to reload hatchets, have at least decent aim plus has to find survivors
Legion requires no skill to go in power, hit someone, follow heartbeat while still in power, smack next person and keep going all while speedy and in power. There is a world of difference.
-
While I am happy that concerns have been heard and changes are being made, I am not sure these were fully thought out.
My initial thoughts -
Surrender option is going to encourage 4 man slugs instead of prevent it. The killers that play like this do not care about anything other than their 4k and will do whatever to get it as fast as possible. This is going to give them the ability to get it faster so they can move onto their next match to do the same thing. The slugging issue is because killers are trying to get around survivor perks that give them things after they are hooked, that is not being addressed at all.Map offerings - There are killers who are very map dependent. If you're going to change this you need to change Scratched Mirror because he is unplayable on an outdoor map. (just an example). Maybe make them hidden but keep the rate that they apply the same. Sac wards are still a thing and are now common.
Spawn changes - if you are going to change this, you need to make sure the survivors are not spawning right next to the killer because there have been so many times recently that survivors have spawned right next to the killer (I am literally watching a stream where the killer spawned right on top of the streamer.) This is also going to give very easy pressure to an S tier killer running Lethal Pursuer.
Lastly, while out of order, Go-Next prevention.
While I do not understand people going next because they went down in 30 seconds, they don't like the killer or don't like the map, there are times where going next is justified. Also, if someone drops on hook because there is only one other person alive and that person is in chase so they want to give the chance for hatch, will that be penalized? If you want survivors to stop giving up, either remove the DC penalty (throwing this out as a suggestion but I hate the idea of more bots) or focus more on balance towards solo queue because those are mostly the survivors that go next. Also if a survivor wants to go next but doesn't want the penalty, they will then just make use of the new AFK system to alert the killer to their position without being obvious about it.
I hope whatever the changes towards MMR are will help with this but that's not for ~6 more months. On top of that, the punishment is very steep and the incentive is not enough; not everyone cares about bloodpoints as we have seen from this iteration of 2v8. My suggestion - remove this completely but actually take action when people report someone in end game since it is one of the options (after verification of course).
Again, these are my initial thoughts. I hope some of these things have been taken into account.
-
Killer mains will continue to find ways around these changes and make the game more miserable for survivors.
Gen rush because "gen perks nerfed to the ground" - ok tunnel one out
Anti-tunnel perks - just start slugging
Go next epidemic - just slug more
Can't camp/slug/tunnel efficiently - __________ (we will see)
Maybe stop playing like every game is a competitive game because killers try harder so survivors have to try harder so killers have to try harder so on and so forth and here we are.
-
Killers slug to avoid hook perks and sabo and try to obtain the 4k as easily as possible. Giving a surrender option is not going to change that, it is actually going to encourage it. Killers will be able to slug everyone assuming they will just give up and let the killer move onto their next slug match asap as well.
I will say right now, I am petty. I will spend my full 4 minutes bleeding out and continue to waste the killers time if they refuse to hook me. I will not surrender.
This will not fix the issue.
-
@UknownShredder said:
Well that is why they have bond, You also got wiretap you can use. You do see where people are carried or hooked. I feel there is plenty of information in regards to survivors, Deja Vu gives gen information as well. If people werent stacking up on anti tunnel perks you would see the entire map.
Wait, we don't need anti-tunnel perks? Has tunneling been fixed?
Oh, wait, that's right. You have to run second chance perks if you want a chance to survive because one chance is not enough. Not the way these killers play.
-
I don't really care about the BP incentive. I will not wait in 20-30 minute queue times to play killer so I will play survivor. If the games are terrible (which they usually are in solo q) then I will go play a different game completely.
-
Its getting more and more frequent
-
For those of you that don't know this, you do not have to DC. No, its no fun but if you wait for like 3-5 minutes after the end game collapse ends, the survivor will die.
-
The difference in 1v4 is you do not have a second killer to come behind and kill all of the injured survivors. Legion gets injuries faster than people can heal so then you have a blight or decent huntress behind them, there is not a whole lot you can do. Imagine going against any of the other killers with no mither, its similar (not the same) to that. You either stay injured to work gens and give the second killer an easy down or you waste a ton of time healing.
-
Legion is the ultimate slowdown in a modifier with minimal slow down. Yes, it is very oppressive and clearly not thought about before implementation (as if thats new for these devs). Easiest counter is not clumping up which how do you tell (usually) 6 survivors and two tea-bagging-please-heal-me bots to keep distance. Then you have the other killer come behind Legion and just clean up the mess. It's gross and extremely boring. I want to play 2v8, not Mending Simulator
-
Its all about them dollas for these devs. They do not care one bit about the health of the game nor the satisfaction of the community. If they did, they would not have put either bots or Legion in this time around. They're worse than American health insurance companies.
BHVR, think things through just once this year. Just once. Take feedback from the community to heart, make changes, make the game healthy AND FUN again and stop ruining everything.
-

Hey there folks. Popping in here to let you know that our Community Team is treating collecting and sharing feedback with the team as our top priority today. While I'm seeing general comments about how folks feel about bots in here (which we are also sharing with the team), I'd also love to dig into the specifics of how you're feeling, as these can often be the most useful feedback points.
If there are specific instances of bots doing things that you've liked or have found disruptive in 2v8, I'd love to hear them. They use all the resources. They pre-drop every pallet they run near, they use every vaccine as soon as they are infected, they open every chest. I have not seen them use herbs but I am guessing they do. The also run away at the slightest sound of a terror radius because they do not have the brain to realize the killer is on someone else and they are safe meaning they leave other survivors in cages or unhealed. I have not once seen them use their skill and they (still) get stuck in a chest or vault loop.
On top of that, most times killers will ignore the bots who are just running around like chickens with their heads cut off because oh no terror radius, effectively making it a 2v6.
-
Same here. I was trying to avoid the bugged item and got stuck in a perpetual auto purchase sound even when switching characters. I couldnt even close the game, had to force close it.

Maps are nerfed to ground and most of them have trash loops which guaranteed hits. There is only few maps left to having fun loops. And you will notice survivors are usually using map offerings for those maps.
3-4 maps get shrinked and yall start exaggerating it as if half of the maps have been nerfed into the ground? Most maps are literally still obnoxious to play as killer, e.g. Eyrie which is still the most survivor sided map even after it's rework.
Tunnelling one survivor out and making game 3 v 1 is pretty easy and free. Killer is not getting enough punishment, even if survivor have anti-tunnel perks.
you know what is even easier? Going on next on hook when killer first hooks you and then act like that isn't the problem with the game (or eventually accusing killer of tunneling after you/your teammate went next on 1st hook, which i unironically saw happening too)
Balancing game around SWFs while giving nothing to solo survivors. Not even reworking problematic perks like Knock Out.
- Literally so many aspects have been improved for better soloQ QoL, there are still some needed, but things are okayish even in this state.
- soloQ has become extremely unreliable sample to be used for balancing due to soloQ players extremely often having completely different goals, skill levels and mentality in matches. SWFs at least play as a team and you won't have that one teammate that will ragequit out of nowhere. Also, they will play for one mutual objective. Knock Out is problematic for soloQ tho and should be reworked.
Killer can make couple of mistakes and then they can still make it come back with some snowball and slowdown. But survivor games feels like it's not possible to comeback. Especially it's very hopeless when killer tunnel someone out and make game 3 v 1 at 2 - 3 gens left.
against a team that knows how to play the game, it's enough to mess up the first chase and lose yourself a match. Only case when killer can make "couple" of mistakes, snowball and win is when survivors make continuous chains of mistakes.
All in all, survivor mistakes are much more forgiving than killer's.
If you have enough DbD knowledge you know what games are winnable and what are not. So even i don't support what they are doing, i understand why they are going to next instead of wasting their time for losed match.
people who have enough DbD knowledge will never manage to have a teammate completely tunneled out before minimum of 3 gens have been done.
You noted one map that is extremely survivor sided. There are only a few that I can think of; Eyrie and GoJ and possibly Dead Dog depending on the killer
However you have to look at Shattered Square, Forgotten Ruins, Haddonfield, all three Coldwind variants, Midwich, Backwater Swamp, and even Wreckers Yard has lost loops. These have all been nerfed to the ground with more dead zone than loops
There are very few balanced maps at this point.

Heres my thoughts, in order to play the game you need to have a minamum ms or lower. Like if you're 108ms, u can't queue for a match. They can also prioritize lobbys where everyone is on bad net since they all shouldn't be playing the game anyway if their wifi can't handle it. As much as that sounds harsh, playing an online game is a privilege for everyone to have fun, and a killer having bad net is not fun for anyone. So just don't let them queue into pubs if their above a certain threshhold. They can put in in their TOS and game requirements or wtv, make it clear that u need decent ping to play.
If they are going to do that, they need to have more servers and closer together. I am on NA west and see people from central america all the time because they do not have their own servers and they are always over 100 ping at least. There are no servers in central US either (only VA and OR - opposite coasts) so people in like TX have bad ping. Also you cant tell someone they cant play a game if they live in the middle of nowhere and do not have access to anything more than wireless broadband.

and why would you use unbreakable before endgame?? i literally compared lack of counter to existing counter because one is in your favour but you talk only when its against survivor even tho you can counter slugging xD. u can literally use unbreakable, hide or heal and hide and wait until killer kills 4th guy so now you can try to escape through hatch. is that so difficult for you to do? you can even heal yourself without med kit because there is perk from ….. FREE survivor. WOOOOW you can get up, heal yourself, hide and wait for hatch but no you will whine how bad is slugging for 4k, it's not bad.. slugging for 4k is strategy just like hiding like a coward and waiting for hatch.
Since you are clearly a killer main, you should know what the drop key is. You really think a survivor slugged can pick themselves up, heal AND find the hatch before the killer (who moves faster and does not need to worry about being spotted) can? This does not count for the killer seeing the slug picking themselves up and instantly leaving what was the 4th survivor to go after the previous slug. Now you talk about using self-care to heal at THIRTY-FIVE% speed aka over 45 seconds. And should the killer just decide to hook the 4th survivor (which they almost never do), you have to take time into account all while trying to get around the killer seeing/hearing you. Yup, that seems like a very viable solution.

slugging for 4k is strategy too you know? and you can use bill's perk to get up when killer is looking for 4th guy..it's only your choice to not use it.
maybe we should talk about how killers CAN'T counter any kind of stun? oh wait, thats in survivors favour so noone talk about it… people here only whine if something is not in survivor favour even tho they can counter it FOR FREE without using real money. You cant counter stuns???? So respecting pallets isn't a thing?
If you wanna go that route and complain about a survivor's one line of defense, lets talk about "Bill's perk" aka unbreakable which has a one time use vs killer perks like Enduring, Spirit Fury or Nemesis which are active all game and used more than once. Or, you just respect pallets. And if youre afraid of those pesky little flashlights, there is Franklins or Lightborn.

The point of slugging for the 4k is that the killer has time to search the map for last survivor. No point slugging for 4k if they remain by the slugged player and don't even try looking for the last one, might as well just hook and kill them if killers are waiting it out like that because when they bleed out hatch is in play which is what the killer is trying to avoid.
Based on this comment, you have never seen a killer use a slug as bait? or a killer never slug and hump until bleed out?
Can I have your games? I literally had a killer slug me, look for the last survivor then slug the last survivor until I bled out because they knew I would bleed out first and just had to have their mori. So now we had 2 slugs, me on the floor for 4 minutes and the other person on the floor for around 2.5

This is a very good point, it is something we are aware of. For killers they have to learn one character - for survivors they have to learn how to play against all of them and when things change that can be hard to manage / learn.
DbD is complex, it's not easy on either side - there's a fair bit of skill involved on both sides, the game is most definitely not easy, it only appears easy when you're not very experienced in the game…it's deceptive.
Any ideas for how to make things easier for players and I'm all ears (no dbd pun intended), as there will undoubtably be other killers that have more complex powers.
Give us the ability to go against a bot killer in customs. Thats the best way I can think of to learn a killer's power. We had killer bots in 2v8 so it should be possible.
-
What people fail to understand is the snowball of sweating.
Killers run meta builds (pop/pain res/grim) every match so survivors have to try harder which then makes killers have to try harder so on and so forth.
Killers now feel that they have to tunnel and slug every game because thats "the best slowdown there is". It doesn't help when you have one large [unnamed] killer main streamer saying you have to tunnel to win.
I have played a total of 2 hours of DBD since the event released because of how bad it is. Add rank resweat on top of it and yes this game is miserable to play on either side.

See Ya'll is too broad there. I like when killers use their powers. It changes things up. And (for the most part) I dont give a crap what perks the killers use because they are there to be used. I dont care about getting hooked, its part of the game. Just dont play like a scumbag.
So how about you rethink your statement and try to make it less generalized because not one person in this thread complained about being hooked, having good powers or losing chase.
Clearly you are one of the people that need to get better instead of tunneling.

Good grief I don't know why I even posted this. Of course the comments immediately go back to "skill issue" or "loop better". That is the default response to these posts.
You killer mains do not seem to understand the killer decides the pace and style of the game.
If you have to tunnel to get any kills because survivors are too good for you, maybe you should take your own advice and get better or, and hear me out here, stop caring so much about the 4k because you have to sweat to get it which pushes you into higher MMR brackets that you are clearly not skilled enough for then think this game is survivor sided when you had to play like a scumbag in a VIDEO GAME to get there.

From what I read in another comment, if a Survivor gets insta-killed without being able to do anything, the game treats it as though they were afk and they get a DC penalty for that.
If that kind of cheating is running rampant, maybe the penalty does need to be removed, or at least capped. I'd say an hour tops, but that still seems unfair for those who are getting forcefully DC'd by these hackers.
That is not accurate. I have seen it happen to streamers and they do not have a penalty when they get back to lobby. Now it may be that the person who said that didnt move right at the start of the game so that may be why, I'm not sure.

I'll be the killer here, "So I get punished for killing survivors?" BHVR are never going to get rid of tunneling, too many killers rely on it to feel like they're good at the game.
Even if that means they increase the time required to finish a gen to start. Say gens are increased to 120 seconds, then drop to 90 and 60.

Unfortunately, yes, survivor has been almost unplayable for months and killer is boring and unchallenging.

Were you obtuse on purpose? The question is why is everything ok and nothing matters when it comes to survivors doing their objective, but when it comes to killers doing theirs, suddenly a bunch of factors show up.
Hopefully you understood the point now, though I suspect you understood it the first time and just pretended not to.
"Killers control the pace of the game"
That is why. This game is, be definition, killer sided. Killers control the game and are expected to get a 60% kill rate.
How are survivors supposed to run anti tunnel perks plus perks to counter whatever the current meta is or may be? We have to prepare for tunneling and slugging while also dealing with pop/pain res/grim, or now a full hex build. You going to drop a suggestion that survivors get 8 perk slots? No, I didn't think so.
Killers get the play style of tunneling and slugging as well as their perks. Survivors do not get that option, we get perks. The end.

How does the DC penalty come into play if youre being insta killed? Just take the death and go next, not like it will be a long match.

Tell me how it's broken. Tell me how a killer is gonna patrol 7 gens and 2-5 totems, and not give up any time or pressure for it. Explain how survivors are mentally juggling more stuff and using more game sense than the killer in that scenario. And I'd agree with you, that hex perks are high risk/high reward. So why be so against them being strong? Like Undying, Thrill is a hex perk... to protect another hex perk. That's like having Bond AND Empathy as survivor, pretty much a waste of a perk slot. But y'all still want to complain about the killer having protection for their perk which gets destroyed forever once cleansed.
Did you use thrill before the buff? No? So you didn't care when totem cleanse time was literally doubled? But now that its more than tripled you care and it should stay the way it is?
It's not high risk/high reward if there is minimal risk because it cant be cleansed against most killers.
If thrill sticks around the way it is, survivors need a boon to make boons unsnuffable or some other way to defend them even if that means once it's placed it can't be relocated.

I repeat confirmation bias because it’s what you keep doing by misinterpreting what im saying. I’m simply pointing out what’s happening as I don’t want my words misconstrued into something I haven't said. Majority is not an accurate measure of accuracy either. We can go into statistics on average reading comprehension levels in the world to back my reasoning for this if you want to but it essentially dismisses a “majority interpretation” argument for really most things in life in general. Idk why you’re so aggressive towards me in all our communication. We can have normal conversations on here about things we disagree on without being so passive aggressive and condescending. I’m trying to keep things civil and I haven’t been rude to you even though you’ve made countless jabs at me.
Also the devs have not confirmed they balance around swf, that is a false statement.
How can you consider anything you are involved in as a normal conversation when you are nothing but dismissive? Again, I say I am so happy you do not encounter slugging like so many other people do, that is great for you however for those of us that do, its ridiculous. But yet I see you are the first person to comment on any post about slugging talking about it not being a problem but if you have to comment on that many posts about slugging, then clearly there is a problem somewhere whether you want to see it or not.
So, again, just because it doesnt happen to you does not mean it does not happen.

"This post has been completely invalidated as you clearly do mainly play killer per your comment on another thread calling for killer to receive equal treatment. "
So because you think one side needs more improvements that makes you a killer main? What lol? That does not make sense.
"Now, go play 100 survivor games and keep count of how many times you are slugged for 30 seconds, a minute, 2 minutes, till bleed out. Now you can also add in slugging for the finisher mori AND I want you to do this in solo q. Come back when you have those results and we can compare notes. "
Outside of end game or just looking around not once in 100 games. Slugging at end game isn't an issue and I expect them to. 100 games is nothing, I've got thousands to look back on. Unless you want to count someone on top of me when I go down so he chases them? I don't really count that as that isn't what were talking about. We're talking about slugging for pressure and just leaving to go look for someone else. Very, very rare.
"If you are not willing to do this, then I guess you should stop arguing as you do not have enough experience as a solo q survivor player to speak against slugging. "
Yes please, tell the person with 11k hours they don't have enough experience rofl. You're making the same mistake the other person was and assuming a lot about me that isn't true.
When that one side that you want to be improved on is already the focus of the game, yes. You cannot say this is not a killer sided game when killers are supposed to get a 60% kill rate. While I understand a difference between a kill rate and a win rate, if they are supposed to kill more than they are to let live, then the game is killer sided.
I am happy for you that you do not experience the level of slugging so many others do however you cannot sit here and say it does not happen. Congratulations on your 11k hours in the game however that means absolutely nothing. There are plenty of killer mains with thousands of hours that just do not play survivor. And saying you have 11k hours does not mean you know more than anyone else or that you are right while everyone else is wrong.
