They go for hooks, hook everyone else and give your other team members time to recover and do something else, no tunnels or campers.
And then the killer when they cought you starts tunneling you hard only you. No tbags or rude stuff you did, you just play normaly like everyone else but they choose suddenly mid match to target you only and delete you from the match while the rest gets to play the game.
If you want to tunnel and camp sure do it, but at least don't be picky about it and don't suddenly turn into "oh yea I need a kill suddenly lets tunnel the 4th/3rd survivor now hard."
Fun.
To be fair to the Killer, how many gens were left? Personally, I try to play as fairly as possible until there are 2 gens left. If I still want to be in with a chance to win, then it's time for somebody to die.
I bet this is what's happening to you. The Killer is playing "nice" until they have to be ruthless.
Do Survivors really prefer the Killer to play consistently sweaty for the whole trial? Or is it better to let everyone have the opportunity to contribute and earn some BP before somebody has to die? I've never considered that Survivors might prefer tunneling at 5 gens to tunneling at 2 but I guess you learn something new every day.

If we do get another Stranger Things chapter, I'd like to see Robin be one of the Survivors with Starcourt Mall as the map, but I guess that wouldn't make much sense if Vecna is the Killer.
The house in the upside down would probably be a better choice for a map if it's Vecna. I'd definitely like to see a Stranger Things part 2 though and I wouldn't be surprised if that's a future chapter. I think it'll likely be scheduled for when the final series airs though.
As for any predictions, I have no idea!

Thanks for that. I have gone back to the hook immediately after an unhook plenty of times, but that's generally because I hadn't even gotten out of the vacinity yet and it would be faster to go after the unhooker than it would be to hunt someone else. Maybe I'm in the wrong, but I don't think I should feel guilty about that when they're not even giving me enough time to leave the area.
The Survivor on the hook doesn't have the opportunity to deny a risky unhook if their teammate wants to farm them for points, so if you want to play nice you could ignore the unhooked player and try and find somebody else. Sometimes there isn't a choice to wait for a better time, but I'm sure we've all been unhooked right in the killer's face before and it's a little bit annoying to be double teamed by both your teammate and the Killer in these situations. The unhooked player is being punished for somebody else's mistake here.
But it's up to you how you want to play, of course. I find it best to match my opponent's energy. If I have 3 or 4 hooks before a single gen has even been completed, then I can afford to play extra nice. But I might punish mistakes like this if I'm losing badly and I won't feel too bad about doing so.
-
Please do not give BHVR any more ideas to buff Trickster, he's already over buffed in my opinion and a much less enjoyable Killer to go up against (not that he was ever fun, at least he still had some counter play for the average Survivor).
Deathslinger could maybe use some small buffs though. Nothing too crazy, maybe just a slightly faster reload speed (I only run the two reload add-ons when I play as him).
-
I love this perk and I never take it off any of my Killers. It's a quality of life perk for me (alongside Iron Grasp).
I don't know why, but the Entity doesn't tend to send me their best Survivors. So against weaker teams I essentially have only two perks that do anything at all, giving these teams at least a chance against me. I'm not tooting my own horn here, I know I'm a very average Killer. But as a terrible Survivor myself, I know there are more of us out there than there are terrible Killers.
But if I do get a more experienced team, these perks can often win me a trial because they want to take hits, body block and make saves. Lightborn / Iron Grasp makes sure every down is a hook. In other words, they save me time.
The alternatives to Lightborn are more slugging (with Knock Out), bringing an extra slowdown (Thana on Legion) or Franklin's Demise. And I hate seeing these perks as Survivor, so choose your poison I guess.
-
I'd like to see The legion get some buffs. Here are a few of my suggestions:
- Base-kit Frank's mix tap (Frank's mix tape to be reworked with a new effect). It's too weak for a purple add-on, especially now that 3 genning has been nerfed.
- Ability to see scratch marks or blood pools in Frenzy. It can be easy to lose Survivors while in Frenzy and it should also help Legion get that final 5th hit down.
- A shorter fatigue cool down when cancelling your own power, so you can use your power for chasing at loops (shorter fatigue only applies if you haven't just put a survivor in deep wound).
- 2 extra seconds of Frenzy duration and or a faster base frenzy speed. Without add-ons like Mischief list, you can typically only hit two Survivors with your power before entering fatigue. Faster base frenzy speed would also help with mobility across the bigger maps.

If the killer is entitled to a free kill just because their power allows them to facecamp? Why is the survivor not instantly killed? Why are they forced to wait out 2 hook stages or kill themselves?
The thing is, camping a hook in the end game can turn a 1K game into a 3K game. It's always worth trying your luck. I've had 1 hook Trapper games that have turned into a 3k because the Survivors stepped into my traps on their way to making an end game save.
Survivors have the option to take the 3 out, but so many don't. They get greedy. That's why it's a smart play to camp end game hooks.

Is fuming mixtape the addon that makes gens regress when you’re in frenzy?
It certainly is. It's also great with pop because in frenzy you can also see which gen has the most progression and go and pop it. I believe it also stacks with Hex: Ruin.
-
I think part of it might be down to the anti 3 gen.
Personally, I've been bringing stronger regression since its introduction because it feels like you really need to make every event count now. I swapped out Surge on my Legion for Pop and the Fuming mixtape because I was hitting gens I didn't want to with Surge.
Surge is still on my play for fun Killers because I enjoy seeing it hit lots of gens, but maybe they need to buff Surge and other regression perks a little to give Killers a few more viable options. Even then, there will always be players who will combo 4 of the strongest slowdowns whatever the current meta happens to be.
-
I do admit to being pretty mean with my BP offerings. I only bring escape cake or puddings for myself because I don't know what kind of opponent I might be going up against.
Call it superstition, but if I bring an anniversary cake I feel like I've cursed us all and we're going to get a tombstone Myers or a slugging Oni or something else equally nasty. There are lots of players out there that don't care about your experience and they don't suddenly disappear just because there's an event on.
The other stuff I understand to an extent, but what's wrong with bringing a Mori? I think they're cool and it's better than watching the sacrifice animation that you've already seen a thousand times before.
-
This happens to me all the time when I run Plot Twist (I get matched with a lot of newer Survivors that don't know about this perk).
I just let them heal me up to a point and then I hold the run button and finish off healing myself. It's a little annoying but at least they are trying to be helpful. It's still better than getting teammates that will leave you to bleed out for half the game when you've been slugged by the Killer.
-
This might be the first new tome that I don't bother finishing since I started playing.
I mean, where are my charms at? I was really hoping that the last level would have a charm to unlock but nope, just another banner. I guess they're really going all in with these banners and badges but I just can't get excited about collecting them.
-
I only care about BP right now because I want to get Sable up to P9 (or maybe if I have a new perk from the shrine that I want to tier up for my mains). I guess one day I'll also get my Legion up to P100 but I'm not in any hurry.
Otherwise, not really. Earning Iri shards and rift fragments are what I tend to be most interested in. BP doesn't do it for me anymore.
-
I'm feeling like I need to take a very long break myself. The side of the game that I most enjoy playing (Survivor) has been pretty miserable recently.
My impression is that catering to the Killer side of the game is BHVR's priority right now. They don't seem to want to do anything to upset Killer players and it's just so dispiriting to see seemingly endless buffs for Killers when I'm barely escaping my Survivor games as it is.
That's fine I guess. If I enjoyed playing Killer a little bit more I'd be pretty happy with the state of the game right now, but unfortunately I don't.
-
I once watched a Feng immediately get into a locker the very instant the trail started. Why? She was doing her "adept" (needless to say, she didn't get it).
Players this shameless won't give a hoot about your icon. I for one don't care if anyone sees me cleansing a dull totem for the easy BP instead of getting on the next generator (I'm still a decent teammate, I promise).
Also, you can tell if someone is in a locker by their missing aura while you're on the hook. You bet I'm hiding in there till you die if we're the last two alive and I think the Billy's got BBQ & Chili. What would an icon achieve in this situation? It's not going to stop anyone from getting into a locker if they want to.
-
i see a lot of people arguing that stealth is bad because it "hurts the team". I can understand frustration with teammates that don't share your play style. But if you run around the map without a care, don't keep a low profile when the Killer is nearby and enjoy looping over being stealthy, that's your way to play. You can't expect it to be mine. I can't loop very well, so my preference is to be stealthy and to evade the Killer if possible. Just the other day, I enjoyed crouching in the bushes outside a house on Haddonfield while a Huntress kicked my blast mined gen. These are the things I enjoy most in DBD. I like being a couple of meters away from the killer yet able to avoid detection. It's just as fun to me as looping is to anyone else.
Besides, which scenario is better? I do a gen but hide when the Killer approaches, wasting a bit of their time looking for me, getting back on the gen after they leave OR I don't hide, last about 20 seconds in a chase before hitting the dirt and now somebody has to stop what they're doing to come get me off the hook. I know which one I prefer.
The Survivor side of DBD is not a team game. I mean, it is right up until it isn't. The Devs have made this very clear by the way they reward solo escapes and not team performance. If I knew I could improve my MMR by sacrificing myself for the team (which I still do on occasion), maybe I would be inclined to be a team player. But that's not how the system works. The Survivors are a team until things start to look bleak. They we are on our own.
-
Who knows at this point? Maybe nothing at all has changed.
I'm getting the usual wild swings in player experience and abilities from trial to trial. Had two Billy games back to back: One was a 4K machine that had everyone dead at 3 gens left, the other had one yellow perk equipped and played like a brand new Killer. DBD matchmaking at its finest.
As always, playing at specific times seems to have more of an impact on the strength of my teammates or my opponents (early in the day = absolutely terrible. Later at night = generally much better). Weirdly, I've had a lot of new players in my lobbies on my PC account (800 hours), whereas on Switch they've been more experienced (200 hours).
I've given up trying to divine how the SBMMR system works these days.

Sorry I'm going to break one rule because I don't consider myself an expert with builds so I have no business judging others.
Deja Vu/Kindred/Strength in Shadows/Wicked.
Mind you I've only just started using this build. I've already decided to take off Wicked as I just learnt in my last match you can't unhook during second stage. Seems a total waste of a perk now. So I might replace that with Dance with Me a perk that I took off to try to combo out. Time will tell if I keep Strength.
No idea with escape rate. Maybe 30%. Total guess.
Solid Build. Personally, I like Wicked and I think the real strength of the perk is being able to see the Killer's aura after being unhooked. Even on second hook it's still useful, since it helps you know if it's safe to heal under hook or if the Killer's on their way back to tunnel you out.
At the moment I'm enjoying Vigil / Sprint Burst / Fixated / Plot Twist with a med kit for healing the team or myself (depending on how well the trial is going). Escape rate is pretty much the usual 25-30%, if that. I'm pretty sure I could only improve my survival rate with a full hide for the hatch / gate build.

As a legion main I was pretty sure this post is gonna be legion from start to finish but it looks like sm is gonna take that spot
I'd vote to keep the Skull Merchant in! At least then there'll always be a Killer that Survivors hate to go against more than us Legions.
For me personally, it would be a toss up between Ghost Face and The Wraith. I just find them extraordinarily annoying to face because they're near guaranteed to get a first hit on you for free. Ghost Face can stalk you from anywhere with an instadown power that seems to last forever. And Wraith is really strong in chase with his cloaking ability.
But at least Wraith has a silly looking running animation, so I guess he can stay.
-
As others have said, you want to use the turrets to get them out of their power regularly (and hope your teammates have the same idea). They're like Legion and Plague in that way. Unless the team is playing like one, you're all gonna be toast.
I like to hide them in bushes and around corners (but never directly in front of gens if you can avoid it). But most importantly, make sure they cover your escape route. If the team can build a safe zone with them, that can also be a good place to go for resets and heals.

Ok, that made me laugh.
As much as I like Iron Maiden, it got old pretty fast. Why couldn't they just play the whole song?
At least we can turn it off now. Any future Slipknot lobby music is getting insta-muted. It's not my kind of metal.
-
Stress isn't the right word for me. It's more like I get frustrated or annoyed.
Survivor affects me more badly in his respect because you can easily play 10 extremely one sided games in a row against Killers that show absolutely no mercy. Even when you and the team clearly can't deal with it they'll still be trying their hardest. I can't complain too much I guess, because I can be this kind of a Killer sometimes.
I find a lot of common Killer perks and strats to be pretty tiresome to face as well (Tunnelling, proxy camping, Sloppy Butcher, Plaything, Devour Hope, Franklins, Pop & Pain Res etc). It's also a lot more difficult to play Survivor well (or at least it is for me).
Survivor has so much more potential to grind me down some days.
Killer is different. I know that after a bad Killer game, I'll probably do a lot better in the next one. You can always switch it up and enjoy a variety of Killers, so that helps as well. On Survivor, your MMR is always the same and the game play loop doesn't change all that much from trial to trial. Killer does require a lot more focus though, so I tend not to play this side of the game if I want to be a bit more relaxed.
There's also gloating and BM encountered on both sides which leaves a bad taste and can ruin the experience. It's not that common, but when it does happen it can put me in a bad mood.
-
Bubba is still a good Killer. It's just that since BHVR turbo buffed Billy, he's not the go to reliable instadown Killer of choice anymore. Kinda sad, but Billy is just so much better than him now.

For the people+Buckle up and Background player with flashlights almost denies you from playing the game as killer. Pain res, pop, and Grim embrace don't do anything if killer cannot hook anyone.
Luckily, I run Agi + Lightborn + Iron Grasp on a lot of my Killers, so I don't ever need to worry about flashy saves (I usually get a lot of free hits and downs from these perks too). Plus, there's always the option to just slug everyone out. Not a fun way to play, but you can do it. There's no other way to play against Survivors dedicated to denying hooks.
FTP + BU is an unfair combo and very strong, I'd agree with that. The Killer can't bring or do anything to counter it.
Still, these are all SWF combos and need some co-ordination to pull off. If I brought these perks into a Solo Q game, I wouldn't get nearly as much value out of them.
But once you get the ball rolling with the Killer perks that I mentioned, for most Survivor teams there's no stopping it. That's the big difference in my opinion.
-
I'm trying to think of something nice to say about this perk. Maybe it could be handy to break a 3 gen? A team tried this against my Huntress on Lery's yesterday, but all it did was make the Ash easier to down and mori and I eventually got a 3K (gave the last Survivor hatch).
Unless you're the world's greatest looper (and the Killer isn't smart enough to realise chasing you will lose the game or doesn't care about winning), it's always better to have an extra health state so you can waste more of the Killer's time and eventually win the battle of attrition for the final gen. Especially since a 3 gen situation now strongly favours the Survivors.
-
That's some really impressive detailing!
I've painted a fair few miniatures and model kits in my time, but never that well. So I know the skill that's needed to paint them with such detail.
-
This is nothing more than a difference in play styles. Most streamers like to showboat and get in the Killer's face and a lot of players like to emulate this way to play. These players also tend to think this is the only "right" way to play Survivor too. It doesn't help that many streamers make disparaging comments to their viewers about the stealthier, more self-interested survivors. So you're going against the grain a bit with how you play for a lot of the community and yeah, getting ratted out can be the result. I imagine this might be reportable as teaming with the Killer but I'm not 100% sure. It's also frustrating as Killer to try to find Survivors that hide when they know there's no way to power the gens, so don't expect any mercy if they find you. Something to keep in mind. You've still got to try to progress the game and do gens or you'll be holding the Killer hostage.
Stealth is a 100% a viable playstyle and in the game by design, so if you want to look after number one when things start to go very badly, there's no shame in that. You should play however you like.
-
Of the Killers I've played on console (I own a Switch), Trapper, Legion, Billy and Demogorgon are all perfectly viable. Same no doubt goes for any basic attack Killer really.
I have only played the following KIllers on PC, but since I exclusively play with a controller, I imagine it's more or less the same experience anyway.
On last gen consoles that struggle a bit performance wise (e.g. Switch etc): Myers, Pig and Sadako are probably almost the same experience as on PC.
On current gen consoles with a stable 60 fps (PS5 etc): I suspect Huntress, Clown, Trickster, Deathslinger, Chucky, Bubba, Twins, Plague and Xeno are not too bad. You probably won't be as strong as a mouse and Keyboard Killer on PC and there may be some frustrations and limitations, they are still very playable from my experience and you can still do well.
-
I don't know about that...
You could equip Pop, Pain Res and Grim Embrace on pretty much any Killer and so long as you're not completely awful, this build should win you most of your games.
But outside of 4 Adrenalines (preferably in a SWF with the juiciest gen rush toolboxes), I can't think of too many Survivor perks that can out right win you a trial. Most of the strongest Survivor perks need team work and skill to be fully effective. The strongest Killer perks just need you to do your Killer thing, play reasonably well and you'll probably get value in most games.
There are definitely terrible Killer perks, don't get me wrong. I'm never going to prestige The Wraith and anyone going for his adept has my commiserations. But on balance, while the pool of Killer perks is smaller and Killer general perks are pretty weak compared to the Survivor ones, I think the strongest Killer perks are still stronger than the best Survivor perks.

the most obvious answer is so that he doesn't use it with monitor and abuse and already arriving at the surv with his 2 dashes catching them without having time to react
Yeah, He needs the big terror radius in my opinion. A stealth Wesker with no terror radius makes for a very speedy GG in my experience.
But in some ways I think a bigger terror radius can sometimes throw me off because it can feel like the Killer is always around, so it's not always easy to tell exactly how close they are to you. It's part of the reason why I think Distressing can be an underrated perk.
-
From an average Survivor's perspective (in other words, not a very good one), I think maybe it takes a little too long stare him down to get rid of the weakened state. 10 seconds seems like an awfully long time when you're trying to look behind you and also not run into a wall. It's especially tricky if you prefer to use a controller because you can't quickly look behind you.
I also think he also has too many strengths to his kit (teleportation, a ranged attack that hinders, 115% speed, stealth with add-ons), but then you could also say that about the last 3 Killers that were added to the game.
With the PTB being a self selecting group of the more dedicated PC players (mostly using a mouse and keyboard), I'm starting to think this can't be the best way to get a full idea of how a new Killer will perform when released to the rest of the player base.

Actually Legion got many buffs and a full add-on pass not long ago.
But that was more than a year ago. And also before I started playing, so I only have the current state of Legion to go by. Besides, who in their right mind doesn't want to see their main get some buffs?

- Frank's Mix Tape's pause effect base-kit (also now works for searching lockers, and snuffing totems too)
- Blood pools visible during Frenzy
- 2.3m/s cool-down speed (was 2.07m/s)
- Bloodpoints for downing Survivors during Frenzy
- Decreased visual effects when Frenzy ends
This can literally be done within a few days max.

Here's what Sable's wearing on my Switch and Steam accounts (except Sable on PC has a Necronomicon charm equipped instead). I picked the skirt because it colour co-ordinates well with the monster hat. The only thing I don't like about this outfit is that you can only wear one charm with it (the middle charm), since they tend to clip into her skirt at the other two spots.
She has some really good day one cosmetic options. But I do wish she had an Iron Maiden shirt like the others :(
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Sable gets more cosmetic releases than even Feng this year.
-
I'm sure we'll get a Legion buff one day. I mean, BHVR are buffing every other Killer in the game. Even The Huntress and she didn't need any buffs.
We'll just need to wait until after The Twins rework.
Maybe...
(And to be fair, they were probably at their worst during the MFT days).

"if the Survivors make the mistake of grouping up"
I have no control over my teammates. I cannot create a force field to keep them away from me.
True. But if you see a yellow bar pop up next to a teammate's name and you can hear the terror radius music, that's your cue to quickly leave the area and get to some safety. I struggle against the Legion too (and I'm a Legion main), but it's not like they have no counter play.
-
The new Invocation perk is weak, so let's nerf the only good thing the Legion have going for them? That's an interesting take...
The only strong aspect to The Legion's power is the uncounterable information that it gives you. Otherwise, they're just a basic attack Killer with the ability to injure multiple Survivors quickly (but only if the Survivors make the mistake of grouping up, which they shouldn't be doing against a Legion).
I think they're one of the worst Killers in the game right now. If anything they need some buffs.
-
It's not that bad. I think it's a solid perk to use when the basement is at the centre of the map. But it has got me killed a few times, so I can't see it replacing my beloved Self-Care / Botany combo.
I'd like reliable heals off hook from my teammates but Solo Q and tunnelling Killers returning to the hook disagree, so self healing perks it is.
-
This is very sad to hear.
Hopefully BHVR will take note of this thread, step up their game and start cleaning house to rid the community of players who boot up the game with the intent to cause others pain. There shouldn't be any tolerance for this BS.
I think online platforms in general need to do a better job of preventing harassment. But I'm worried DBD's current report system isn't up to the job of dealing with stuff like this.
-
Just all the sweatiest Killers returning to the game to try their hardest for easy 4Ks with the latest overpowered Killer before BHVR decides to nerf him. Sable's perks aren't all that impressive, so all the more experienced Survivors have probably stayed away, hence the imbalanced match making. What else should we expect when BHVR keep releasing Killer sided updates?
It happens every chapter. I've already decided not to touch the game for another week. I should know by not to play around new chapter releases because it's always a miserable experience for me.
@ArkInk said:
I feel like this happens most of the time a new killer comes out with odd counterplay. Unknown excels against survivors who don't know maps, as he forces them to stare at him instead of looking ahead for loops. The matchmaking reset just means the new and veteran players are placed together, which gives any Unknown player presumably a few easy targets in every match.
Give it a day or two, it should iron itself out. Unless matchmaking is bugged, in which case that entire paragraph should be disregarded.
Matching making doesn't reset, only the grade system resets. They are not in any way connected.
-
I'd like to see grass spawn on indoor maps (as well as on maps that usually don't spawn grass like Eyrie of Crows) or at least make traps more difficult to see on these maps. Getting sent to the Game with Trapper is one of the worst experiences you can have as Killer in DBD.
Other than that, I would probably make Trapper bag and Bloody Coil basekit.
-
If the goal for AFC was to implement a system that allows Survivors at least the opportunity to trade hooks, I think it has failed. I've honestly only seen the AFC system activate when the Killer is absolutely new to the game and doesn't yet know it exists. It may make the game a little bit more bearable to brand new Survivor players in Solo Q, but that's all. I'd say the AFC system does that reasonably well. But nobody should pretend it does anything else beyond this. It does nothing to stop Bubba, Ghost face, Oni, Billy, Iri Hatchet Huntress or any other instadown Killer from camping a hook to secure a kill.
Sadako is not an instadown Killer and Survivors in this situation should be able to force a trade but let's be real, Solo Q is sadly often not that well co-ordinated.
-
I love Sable and the new map. But the star of the show for me so far has been Wicked. How much I like it has suprised me. Seeing the Killer's aura for 20 seconds is a decently strong effect and I think it would really compliment a full aura build.
But the other two perks, I've not been able to get any value so far. Would be handy if Strength in Shadows could show the aura of the basement hooks when injured, because so far all it's done is make me realise that I don't know where the basement is on most maps in the game.
I've only tried the Survivor side so far. I did buy the chapter, but I won't be trying out the killer in public matches for at least a week yet. I know some Surviors will already be sick of seeing him. I can't comment on any of the Killer buffs yet (not seen Huntress or Pig etc).
-
Other than The Legion's, I really like Onryo's and Trickster's. Some seriously ominous and spooky vibes.
-
Blindness can be pretty strong. Though it can feel kinda nasty and somewhat unfair to face as Survivor if someone is on the hook but you can't find them to go for the save because their aura is blocked. I've seen it secure the Killer plenty of second hook states (and sometimes even a kill) in many of my games.
Personally, I wish they would remove the blindness effect from Ultimate Weapon for that very reason (or maybe make hooked survivor auras always visible, regardless of the blindness effect).
-
It's possible I they've changed something I guess, but I think it's just as likely that there aren't a lot of people playing right now.
I played Killer a couple of days ago at a time when queues are typically instant, but it still took a few minutes to find a game and the lobbies were a real mixed bag.
I was getting decent Survivors when the Fragment Frenzy bonus was in place but since that ended, my teams have been full of lots of newer players. I even got a no perks just bought the game default Dwight in one of my games the other day.
-
Are we talking about traps that sink below the map and become invisible to the eye? There's currently a nasty one in a Badham Preschool doorway that sinks into the ground and disappears from view. Yeah, that's not meant to happen. When those get spotted, BHVR usually patches them out.
If you've found some new spots where this happens, you should submit a bug report.

Since the buff, I don't play as him anymore because it makes me feel guilty. He's way too much for the lobbies that I typically get as Killer and I'm not even good with him.
It just feels cheap to shred through health states before the Survivors can get to anywhere safe. And if you're doing badly with his blades, no worries because he's 115% speed now for some reason. A shame, because I really like him as a Character.

I think it really depends on the Killer's personality. If I know the Killer has returned to the hook before to pick off the injured party, then it might be a good idea to leave the area if they're not currently in chase. But if I see the We'll Make It icon pop up, then it's usually a smart play to heal straight away.
If the Killer is playing mostly for fun or is a bit more chill and doesn't return to unhooks, then it's OK to stay put. Sometimes it might be worth the risk even if the Killer is nearby, so long as the Survivor that unhooked you has a healing perk or a med kit.
It's normally a bad idea to heal under the hook against stealth Killers, high mobility Killers like Blight / Billy / Xeno or ranged Killers like Huntress. But there's no one size fits all approach.
I don't mind being a bit risky with under the hook heals since I like to run Sprint Burst to make a quick getaway.

If they're not for you OP, they're not for you. Sometimes you just don't vibe with a certain Killer and that's OK.
I like them because they have the best chase music in the game, they look cool as hell, it's fun to run at Sonic The Hedgehog speeds and vaulting over stuff is a blast (though I'm sure Legion has lost a little bit of their unique charm for some players now that there are two other Killers with much stronger vaulting abilities). They're mechanically simple and easy for pretty much anyone to pick up and play. I also think they have the best info power in the game.
I personally like to play strategically to pressure gens and The Legion helps me to do that. With Susie's mixtape and Distressing, you can get really good intel on which gens are being worked on and you can use their power to zip across the map to harass any Survivors that like to sit on gens. On a small map, they can be especially oppressive in this regard.
i do think they could use some buffs but BHVR don't seem to agree. Probably because they over perform at low MMR.They could buff certain aspects of their kit that would make very little difference to low MMR but might help them be a little more competitive against Survivors that know how to counter their power.
