I play all kinds of games. DBD and Slay the Spire are my "play whenever" games. I play CoD MW2 for multiplayer. Then I usually have one single player game I focus on.
It was HiFi Rush but I just beat it (highly recommend). I'm trying to get into Phoenix Point as it's been on my list for a while but I'm very slow at getting into new games.
Also a bit more unique but I am streaming Elden Ring as well. Usually I'd only do one single player game at a time but with the size of ER and that I am streaming it on Twitch, I'm not exclusively playing it as I often just don't feel like streaming and/or my health hiccups make me not want to play a game as difficult as a Souls game.

I haven't played in months so maybe it's gotten better but I did not care for it.
Every game as the demon was the same thing; spend 10 minutes flying around desperately trying to level up so I could actually put up a fight and then hope the survivors didn't pick up a bunch of good stuff where I get curb stomped anyway.
Cause every game felt the same and it sucked. Just felt like such a huge waste of time and until you actually leveled up, you couldn't even take on a single survivor who was all alone doing nothing. Not to mention my favorite part where I'd be teleported away from the objective they completed and be halfway across the map and have the second objective halfway done before I was able to fly my way back...

You know most people didn't use old DH to dodge lunges right?
That wasn't the good part of the perk, that was more of nice bonus.
What most people realized is that you could use DH to get distance to a pallet or window for free. You are bringing that back. I don't know how that would go.

Before the DH change was announced, I was very close to just quitting DBD completely because of DH for Distance. I would take 1,000,000 Nu DHs per match over bringing back DH for Distance

Got a new feeder (the blue one in the front)
Filled it with Mealworms as I bought a thing of mealworms but nobody went after them when it was mixed with seed...
Not terribly active yet (though I've seen birds take from it but mostly the same little chickadees in my other feeders) but I'm hoping to get some bigger birds to go after it once they realize it exists. Especially now that it's March so winter is closing out soon...

I'm not saying you are lying of course since these views (at least here on the forum) seem to be the majority and not the minority but I just don't see it
I've been slaying this entire time. It's very rare that I don't get at least one kill as killer and I commonly still get 4Ks. I don't know if it's my region or my MMR or what but I've been enjoying killer just as I've always. I do notice gens go a little faster since the HUD update but I still manage to win more than I lose as killer without tunneling or camping.
So...IDK? :D

For real? I do this all the time. Like when a survivor goes down next to a wall or in a jungle gym, where either the view would be obstructed and/or we would clip through the walls mid-animation, then I pick them up and plonk them down on the middle of a crossroad or even the hilltop.
I find it funny to do a Mori when they clip into stuff :D
I suppose I just don't see a ton of moris period so that's probably some of it

I don't think I have ever seen that in my years of playing...
I've seen people move you because they want to be a jerk and drop you just outside the hatch but never have I seen someone move someone just to get a better mori spot. But if they were doing that, I imagine they just want to watch the mori without stuff being in the way.

Unfortunately if they knew how to do it, I imagine they'd have done it by now. They've acknowledged how much worse it feels on controller so it's not like they're blind to the differences so presumably that means they can't fix it.

1 piece of lore that I despise and goes against these ideas is survivors losing all the memories from each trial,they should just retcon this tbh.
I think what would make that interesting in my hypothetical TV Show is either the "main character" for some reason remembers previous trials (while everyone else he/she is with forgets) or almost a Memento kind of thing where they remember very little snippets but then they keep a journal or something they hide in the trail to piece together what is happening

I know it won't since it's a movie but I always thought a Squid Games/Alice in Borderlands-esque mini series would be awesome. Basically have ten episodes or so and have each episode a trial with a different killer as the survivors slowly piece together what is going on.
As for the movie, I'll be interested to see what they do. A self aware horror comedy like Cabin in the Woods would be fun. Straight up slasher where they just blow off The Trial part (so no gens or whatnot). Will it be a 4 v 1 setup or more of a Survivors v Killers with a bunch of survivors and killers in a Battle Royale kind of world. A focus on a specific survivor and their individual story.

Although in seriousness, if Boil Over is causing a bunch of problems with hooking people, I see no reason why you wouldn't camp at that point. Especially as it sounds like you started camping at the end rather than at five gens (you don't say when The End is but I presume the game is basically toast for you at that point).
You certainly can apologize if you want but there are times when camping (and tunneling) ARE the correct call

I wouldn't say I'm gutted but I likely would have bought at least one or two of them for fun. I had a big collection (well relatively big) but haven't bought anything like that in a long time. DBD might have been the only property I'd get one for.
That was my desk at work (once Covid hit, I put them all away with the deep cleaning stuff and just never put them back out) but most of my "collection" is there.

Never gonna happen, if for any other reason there are too many situations where it is normal and necessary gameplay to tunnel and/or camp
Not to mention that every suggestion I've ever heard to fix it is either
A. Exploitable
B. Punished innocent players
C. Both

No, they don't mind killers that can use their powers. They mind that a killer can actually catch them and they can't just run circles around them playing Scooby Doo by Daylight.

That's a lot of questions but I suppose I'm now contractually obligated to answer...
Killers:
- A 2. It's primarily now just kind of boredom. In the games defense I'm now going on like...Year 3 of this game but I just don't really want to put in the effort. Most matches seem like you have to swear like crazy (something I don't want to do) to be effective OR you absolutely curb stomp the opponent (something that is boring).
- I appreciate that the killers are getting a bit more complicated to use. None of them are overly complicated but adding a few fun new mechanics and stuff to do I think is a good call. The hard part is going to be for them to balance them.
- A good balance between having a little complication while not being too complicated to be fun. For myself, my current mains are the one shot killers (Bubba and Oni specifically) because it takes effort and at least some skill to use them effectively. I also have been really enjoying The Dredge because I really like his more unique powers.
Survivors:
- I am incredibly happy with the UI Changes. There are probably some perks that are borderline useless that could use adjusting but I don't know what they would be since my staple of perks is pretty consistent and none of them, positively or negatively, are affected by the change
- Uh...IDK so I guess no comment :D
- I would love more silly killers! Killer Klowns from Outer Space would be fun (though probably not likely given their own game is about to come out). Maybe a map based on The Cabin in the Woods and whatnot. This game hasn't been a "horror" game in years so go nuts BHVR
Everyone:
- I've never been too bothered about map sizes and whatnot. There are absolutely maps that are killer sided, survivor sided, and some that are killer sided with X killers and AWFUL for Y killers (like...really any indoor map with Oni or Billy for an example). But I see that as some of the fun of the games RNG so it doesn't bother me
- Yes
- I'm not a big fan of the survivors having lines. I don't mind killers having lines but honestly, I'd prefer no one has lines. It's just the usual video game setup where once you've heard them once, their charm very quickly evaporates
- I don't even listen to them (sorry BHVR story writer)

BHVR has said repeatedly their stance on the noose; it has self harm/suicidal references that they decided they were not comfortable with keeping. That's it. Like it, don't like it, doesn't matter. They changed it because they are the developer of the game and determined they weren't comfortable with it so it got changed.

Pics from this weekend, we made it all about Kazi taking her to her favorite places like the beach because today she went in for surgery to remove parathyroid cancer. Surgery went well. She's staying at vet tonight so they can monitor her. Depending on test results tomorrow may need to stay a second night but hopefully everything will be good and we'll have her back home for snuggles and pics of her being adorable.

Simeon was adopted so currently Anna is by herself. Wanting lots of attention so I don't know if it's cause Simeon is gone or if it's because I've been here often enough that she likes me but either way!

It seems like the majority of the forum is here to hear themselves talk rather than actually talk or discuss the game. The only threads that ever get traction are the same complaints over and over again as everyone talks past each other with the same tired points over and over

So if the situation actually does call for camping, sucks to be you killer?
Also like just about any more interesting mechanic, all it takes is a Seal Team SWF Squad to make it a miserable experience
Also also, that range is insane but figuring out an ideal range would be damn near impossible. 24-36 meters on a map like The Game would be like half the damn map. But make it shorter like 12 meters where it wouldn't be a problem, all a proxy camping killer has to do is stand 13 meters away (something I see Camping Pyramid Head killers do all the time with the cages) and you haven't fixed anything.
To me, short of a complete overhaul on how the mechanics of the game works, camping (either face or proxy) isn't a strategy you're ever going to be able to remove from the game. By the very nature of how the killer gets their kills, camping is going to be a good strategy for killers and I've yet to hear a fix to this that doesn't have the problems I have listed above.
