I'd take out open handed and visionary and replace them with Kindred and Detective's Hunch. Detective's Hunch gives you a bigger range for seeing gens with totems and chests added on top. Kindred is invaluable for making saves. It lets you know when you need to go for the save or stay on the gen.

Who hates tru? What has he done?
Alot of people dislike him because of his attitude. They feel like he comes of as arrogant and never takes responsibility for his loses.
-
Yay, another us vs them thread.
-
If the hitbox didn't feel like she was throwing a mini fridge at you they'd be okay.
-
Completely understand the OP. I refused to use DS for a very long time. I used it for a little while because I got sick of being tunneled.
-
Assuming they aren't just being idiots, they might be working towards the unhook yourself 50 times achievement.
-
His shocks are murder on players fps. I've lagged into stuff way too often because of it. Add in snapping out of madness can get tedious. And lastly a high percentage of Doctor players, at least in my experience, are pretty hardcore tunnlers/campers. Add those things together and he can be pretty unfun to face.
-
I'd say Botany would be your best bet.
-
Never had it on personally.
-
If it's been released relatively recently it'll be 2,700 shards. Not sure of the exact time table they use.

Really? We're now complaining because a characters boobs don't jiggle? There are serious bugs in the game and issues on both sides, but yeah, focus on Kate's boobs not moving. The nerve of BHVR!
Look at how many people complained that they nerfed PH's ass. People worry about weird things.
-
So you're complaint is that a build with multiple conditions to activate has no counter play?
-
Otz and Puppers are very good.
-
Because prestige is useless. There's no tangible benefit from prestigeing a character.
-
Plunders, Spine Chill, We'll Make It, and Kindred.
Spine Chill for the advanced warning. Plunders because I love loot. We'll Make It for those fast heals. Kindred for good information.
Sloppy, Whispers, Spies, Iron Grasp.
Sloppy for the slow down. Whispers for the tracking. Spies for secondary tracking. Iron Grasp for extra basement hooks.
-
Simply change it to only active when both the killer and survivor look at one another. That might be enough to keep it from being obnoxious.
-
It there were to be a fourth perk from each survivor there would need to be killer ones as well. But rather than make them a new teachable I'd make it unique to that killer/survivor. Then design a perk to work around a killers power/a survivors personal lore.
For example Claudette is clearly the healer survivor. Making a healing perk only she could use would give a reason to play certain survivors. In the case of killers you could make perks that compliment a power that wouldn't be possible before.
-
Nice. Thanks for the heads up.

I run inner strength with detectives hunch now and again so I can find totems quickly.
If you have trouble finding other totems like your posts suggests I would try this perk or small game till you get used to where the spawns are.
Boldness points from totems and the risk of NOED means they are fair game for all.
Exactly . My old build was Q&Q, Detective's Hunch, Inner Strength, and Spine Chill. Even without Inner Strength I still usually run Detective's Hunch. I cleanse every totem I find. Noed isn't going to proc in my game.

I thought the last stats they put out (like over a year ago) stated over half of all survs are in at least a two-man SWF
It was a bit under half, depending on platform. Of the roughly half that were in swf I think it was less than 10% were 4 man squads. The vast majority of swf players were in 2 man's.
-
Point #########.
Detective's Hunch.
Prove Thy Self.
Saboteur.
We're Gunna Live Forever.
Purple medkit with Gel Dressing and Self Adherent Wrap. Escape Cake.
The idea is to use Prove Thy Self to make out your objective points as fast as possible. You use Saboteur and Detective's Hunch to break as many totems and hooks as you can. Maxing out your boldness. You use the medkit to heal yourself if needed and for super fast heals after unhooks.
Medic.
Self Care.
Botany.
Plunders Instinct.
Streetwise.
Purple medkit with Gel Dressings and Gauze Roll. Shiny Coin offering.
The efficiency from Self Care, Streetwise, and Botany will help your medkit last a long time. Coupled with the extra speed of Botany and the Medkit and you'll have ridiculously fast heals for you and your team. In the event your medkit runs out you burn the coin offering so you can get even more medkits to use.

Wasn't F13's interactions just DbD Skill Checks, just multiple on the same circle? And it was easier/harder depending on the characters skills? Been too long since I played that game
The speed of repair and number of skill checks was based of the charters repair skill. For example Vanessa might have between 5 and 8 skill checks. While Deborah would only have 2. Then each skill check was randomly either R1 or L1.
-
Her powers are fine. She needs an addon pass is all.
-
I don't mind tier 1. I just wish they would make him 110% in tier 1. That way he can get out of it easier. That and some addon buffs.

Yeah I don't get all the complaints. I like the new survivor perks. The one is only useful for newbies. But not every perk needs to be for vets.

I think people are vastly underestimating how good this perk is.
Agreed. I don't think it's God tier by any means. But I do think it looks pretty strong.

What @Leachy_Jr said
I can imagine situations where survivors find your devour hope after you down someone with 3 stacks, then cleanse it, but surprise, you need to find it again. In that time you can probably get 5 stacks and start to mori.
This perk is exceptionally good for perks such as Devour Hope / Huntress's Lullaby when they're cleansed very early on, equipping this perk with a hex grants you immediate pressure, not just this but you don't need to worry about defending your hex totems, which is huge.
Ontop of this, it provides info where survivors are.
You lose the stacks if it's cleansed.
-
Yes it does. Otz just tested that.

i think the chances of finding them while hiding is just lowered (by a lot) , i believe increasing the fear of survivors makes it easier to spot, i reccomend hitting all the power generators if you can find anyone
Even high fear won't spot them before rage if they are in hiding.

I think if they are in a building it will tell you regardless. I might be wrong tho
Nope. If they are hiding under a bed or in a cabinet you won't see them until rage mode.

Jason always knows where people are with his sense ability. Just pop that and go looking.
Sense doesn't detect counselors in hiding places until rage.
-
@PigMainClaudette said:
Yeah, I've had the opposite with F13 because once Jason finds you, you're dead. The objective is also nowhere near as interesting as the generators and almost at the point of being absurd. Most of the time it boils down to "survive as long as possible" and that is not fun to me.
Never had the chance to be Jason though.
It's not at all true that you're dead if Jason finds you. You can fight back and run him ragged if you are good enough at it.
@Aneurysm said:
I downloaded it a while ago bc I was bored of dbd. Died pretty early, the others called the cops, and while spectating one of them was dancing and teabagging just before the exit zone for a few minutes until Jason grabbed him, then he stabbed him with a penknife and actually left.
And then I thought oh sh*t this is just dbd as well. Everything is dbd, there really is no escape.
You get those mismatches in F13 where the Jason is a newbie and gets wrecked. Then you get the really good Jason that utterly destroys the lobby.
-
Because they probably still have it running in the background trying to isolate the issue.
-
Don't take the game seriously. That alone will massively improve your experience.
-
Killers get mad when they can't find you. Then they get mad if you loop them. There's honestly no pleasing them.
-
Corrupt doesn't really matter to me. My opening move is always the same. Scout the area for totems and chests while seeing what i have to work with.

I think the reason that exists is so that Legion can’t just down/slug and immediately go into frenzy.
Fair? Unfair? I don’t know. But this is my suspicion for why basic attacks deplete the power bar.
Maybe. But how would it be different from any other killer getting a down and then using their power to chase another survivor.
-
While an interesting idea I think they better play is improving weak perks.
-
Perk buffs on both sides. There will always be a meta of course. But making the weak perks stronger will add variety.
-
@Dustin said:
Make his power more engaging for both ends so that it isn't just Killer Chase survivor 2.0. This is also the issue I have with Wraith's power because cloak is cool and all but outside of that it doesn't do anything for him unless he's using super strong addons most of the time.
Being able to injure multiple people should be a bonus part of his power not the main part of it. There's a reason Leatherface's power was used for camping that was the main use for it before his buffs. At least he's passable now.
Legion should get a full on rework. Speed should still be his gimmick but the idea of love tapping people back and fourth is dumb. I still say the people who pushed for HIS POWER to have a penalty for missing a stab using Feral Frenzy is why he's so unfun and garbage right now. You want to know what this caused? People to just walk right behind you breathing down your neck to hit you just like what Bubba needed to do to get off a single chainsaw hit. All because people thought there should be a massive penalty. Absolutely ruined his power and made it unfun and boring for everyone.
I don't have an issue with missing the stab having a penalty. I think the penalty is too much though.

It would do a lot, but he's so ass that "a lot" isn't enough.
It might not be enough. But it would be a starting point.
-
I think a few number tweaks and not depleting the power bar from a basic attack would do alot.

I've never noticed Freddy's be any more toxic than anyone else.

How the ######### you managing to break the game with Sole Survivor???
That was my question.
-
Oh good. Another Self Care is bad debate. I've said it before. And I'll say it again here. Self Care isn't a bad perk. People using it in a stupid fashion is bad.
-
Because they want to tunnel with impunity. I'm not saying the combo isn't super strong. Or that DS doesn't need a look. But the majority of those who complain about the combo are simply mad they can't freely tunnel.

Platform, region, time of day? Those are all information that nearly everyone forgets to mention in this forum Everytime the queue time discussion comes up. But they matter, sorry if I sound aggressive but I had this so often until now and even made an ignored thread about this.
At this point I wish there were some requirements like in other game forums to indicate all platforms and which region someone is playing from.
Edit: For example I play on pc in eu and before the crossplay I had 5 minutes queues in the afternoon but after 10 pm it became less than 30 seconds, killer only.
PS4. Midwestern U.S. Around 3 P.M.

So? In their reply to me, the OP wasn't referring exclusively to Xbox but making a general statement, instead of replying to my point that rank could play a role in this case.
If the OP told us they were a lower ranked killer, we'd already have our explanation.
My point is Xbox and PS4 are different beasts. My understanding has always been Xbox has the smallest player base. So it stands to reason crossplay would effect them more than PS4.
