Console players are awful in skill compared to PC players. I have seen how bad they are and they seldomly play nearly as well as PC players. I will list for you some reasons, and we can pretend that it is the same.. but look at this:

    1) You always have way more control with a KB+M versus a controller.

    2) The PC community is older than the console one for this game, so not only do you have players using better tools, but they also have been playing longer.

    3) FPS issues on the console. You can't even play certain killers if there is fog as you get FPS-related issues, so the threat of a huntress or a nurse is nearly non-existent on the console, whereas on the PC they are a major threat.

    4) Consoles attract casuals, whereas the PC community takes itself more seriously with their toys, they want the best of the best for performance, console users typically are people that don't care about having the best of the best for their entertainment, they attract casuals.

Feel free to post a rebuttal. But make sure to try and counter the point and not just try to insult yours truly because my points have hit to close to home.

What is the point of this post? To try and allow the devs to understand that the playerbase is diverse and to understand the type of user that they want to cater to. Casuals or people that have been playing forever?

    1) This game is not COD. You really REALLY do not need the precision of a mouse to be effective with killers, except Huntress and Nurse. Additionally, WASD has nothing on a stick. I can moonwalk while hugging a loop super tight with a stick, looking in any direction I want. You can't exactly do that with a digital input that only allows 8 directions. As for survivor, there is no difference. You don't need mouse precision at all for anything, and it's easy AF to turn your camera in a chase and keep running in the direction you want.

    2) Irrelevant at this point. I have friends that have almost 5k hours. One friend has almost 12k escapes. Another has almost 13k kills. The first year the game was out this would be a valid point, but the game has been out so long that the extra time the game has been out on PC makes no difference.

    3) This is a valid point. However, killers that overcome this limitation can be said to be more skilled than their PC counterparts. Also generally speaking the frame rate is not that bad. It's only very specific things like notifications or certain actions or killer abilities. Bloodlust causes frame drops too. But take any player that has been on console, put them on PC with a consistent frame rate I guarantee they will outperform majority of PC killers even with a controller in their hands.

    4) You obviously do not play on Xbox. Xbox is FULL of sweaty try hards in every PVP online game. People that don't play on Xbox refuse to accept this but red ranks is like 70% 3-4 man SWF groups. Just scroll through the DBD page on Mixer. Every. Single. Survivor. On. Xbox. Is. SWF. And I know a lot of the best players on the platform, there is literally ONE person that plays solo at red ranks regularly, and he is considered by most of us to be the best survivor on the platform because of it. If you seriously think players on console, specifically Xbox, are casuals you are just being elitist pure and simple. This platform is full of sweat, it's part of the reason people choose Xbox to play online against other players. Your statement may be true for low ranks, who would be casuals on ANY platform, but is definitely 100% false for red/purple ranks.

PS. Note I'm talking specifically Xbox. I've heard PS players aren't very good, IDK how true this is, but I'm only speaking on behalf of Xbox players. Maybe a PS player can come and validate my points for their platform.

I am not saying that killers don't lose their mind over the Ruin nerf. That would be a ridiculous statement considering the mounting evidence against it. I am simply saying that the developers will never apply the same treatment to survivors, by removing toolboxes, because the outcry would be even greater.

Likely because toolboxes and other gen buffs/debuffs are not present in 80% of red rank games.

The simple fact Ruin is so common means they need to control for it, hence they change it in hopes to reduce it's influence on so many games. Once that change goes live they can more easily control for buffs/debuffs because not it won't be 80% of games.

Like if your car is having problems which you can't identify easy, you don't up and replace the entire engine. You replace 1 part, see how it runs, then replace another, repeat until you've diagnosed the problem. It's basic troubleshooting.

Another example, if my internet is being whacky I'm not going to replace my network. I'll reboot my PC/Xbox, see if that changes anything. Then reboot my router. Then reboot my modem. Then try another device. After all that if I still have problems it has to be my ISP, and I just saved myself a lot of money finding out it's nothing to do with me.

Also I agree with @Hoodied and @big_fellas it's the maps that are really the problem. Hopefully with the Ruin change the devs can finally confirm this with data and identify the key changes that need to happen (as completely reworking a map is costly and time consuming).

  • I just did the math. If everything works as expected the formula is...

    16/(1+0.33+0.33+0.09+0.06+0.25+0.25+0.5) = 5.6s

So that is the theoretical fastest a syringe can heal you. But it requires 2 survivors with specific loadouts and the killer to look at you.

Other factors like Dying Light can also add to it, and other Niche perks that have requirements.

All and all, it's an interesting niche benefit for one add-on, I guess...

Dying Light would only work on someone else.

So you'd need to be DL obsession with Em medkit, Ab Dressings, Syringe, Spine Chill, Botany, Resil. The guy you use it on needs to have Leader and the killer needs to be watching you, though IDK if Spine Chill would take effect if you do it to someone else.

Just making sure, so yeah if you heal others or yourself with a EM than it's 7.1 yeah.

With just a Ranger, than it's only 7.1 on anothers and a higher number for yourself!

Interesting to know yeah, it goes lower if you add Leader but Leader requires 2 people to do so...

Actually yea Leader could make it faster. But you would need a second person yes.

  • @FireHazard said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1002472#Comment_1002472

Ok so, everything checks out, you were right.

The only thing i'm confused on is why you think healing another person with a Ranger Med-Kit would decrease the time from 7.1 to 6.5 if the "Tremendous" Healing Speed boost is the same for the Emergency Med-Kit and Ranger Med-Kit when healing other Survivors.

Healing yourself gives a Tremendous boost, the heal yourself action works off of the base-kit healing speed of others. So, if you just replace healing yourself with the other part of healing others, the seconds for the Syringe to work is the same...

I was just speculating I didn't look at the numbers. If both say "tremendous" for healing others then no it won't make a difference because they would be the same number.

EDIT: Just check the Wiki, yes they are the same. So you should just use Em Medkit because it's cheaper. Save Rangers for the extra charges. That means the fastest it can go is 7.1s.

  • @FireHazard said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1002458#Comment_1002458

I'd have to test that solo to confirm if that's true or not.

It sounds true, but a lot of things have been revealed to be questionable atm.

It's true. I tested it myself with the loadout above. I was healed in 7.1s.

The type of medkit does make a difference. If you use a brown medkit with no other buffs the syringe will take 16s. If you use an Em Medkit with only syringe it will take 10.7s due to the boost from the medkit, but ONLY on yourself.

  • @FireHazard said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1002451#Comment_1002451

That doesn't make sense though, it says perks and add-ons modify the time...

a Med-Kit is an item, why would that modify the time?

Because it increases the base charges per second. Em Medkit increases the speed you heal yourself by 50%, so that factors into the equation.

  • @FireHazard said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1002272#Comment_1002272

I had to do a lot of in-depth research on this after the question was brought up again.

So yes, your math seems to check out, I don't see why you'd gain a boost when healing another person with a Ranger Med-kit though, the Syringe only goes off of modifiers like perks and add-ons, the med-kits themselves don't add anything, or they shouldn't anyways...

The medkits definitely make a difference and Ranger medkit heals other survivors faster. Em medkit heals yourself faster.

So if you plan to use it on yourself use Em Medkit. If you plan to use it on someone else use Ranger Medkit.

I mean, he could wait... but I personally wouldn't because I don't like camping.

But i'm not him and I don't know if he does or not, so who knows. If he does than the hooked Survivor will die, but I honestly doubt a Survivor would sit under them for the entire 1st and 2nd hook phase until they die...

If anything, someone with BT could come over and get the unhook (making sure they dont get tunneled) and they could try and bait a hit to ensure a BT unhook AND a chance to loop the Killer for who knows how long.

It's not camping if there is a survivor right there. You are punishing them for making a ballsy move.

If you wait you force them to wait. They won't. They will realize that you are not taking the bait and try to do something, at which point you can grab them or do whatever needs to be done.

Point is they want you to swing. Doing anything other than just waiting is a mistake on the killer's part, because there is a very low chance you will succeed at what you are trying to do.

  • @Almo said:

At the risk of getting into an argument, I'll point out that when I was a new player (so speaking for myself, not anyone else), Ruin would have really thrown me for a loop.

For my first... I don't know... ten games or more, I couldn't even reliably find generators. I just assumed everyone else knew where they were because they had memorized the maps. I didn't know about the procedural map generator.

I am certain that in the panic that ensued when the Killer approached I would not have noticed that little "zap" effect when you leave a gen under new Ruin. I did not know generators regressed over time; I thought a kick caused instantaneous damage, not damage over time.

So I stand by my assertion that many (maybe even most) new players (let's say for their first 10 games) will have trouble with new Ruin, partially because they probably won't even know it's happening. At the very least, they'll underestimate its effect.

It's very easy to forget as an experienced player how shallow* the learning curve is for this game. It's especially easy to misunderstand how hard it is to learn for some players if you're an exceptional type who read all the perk text on the tally screen their first couple games and came up to speed more quickly. :) I regularly see posts like "Man, I been in this game for 2000 hours and I just figured out that the perks are alphabetized in the menu!" (true story, that one)

Even so, this was not the only reason we changed Ruin. Let's recall that I gave three reasons in the dev notes. Two of them were "The passive nature of the gameplay pressure it provides means that there is a huge amount of potential with very little effort or risk on behalf of The Killer," and "Its inconsistency due to the random nature of the appearance interval of skill checks."

*When people say "Steep learning curve", that's backward. Learning curves are time spent on the X-axis, and skill on the Y-axis. If you have to play a long time to get good, then the improvement line is not steep. If it is steep, it means you get good with little time investment. :D

What they mean by steep is that it takes more skill to significantly effect the outcome.

Using time played is not a valid measure of skill acquired.

It makes more sense to look at is as the Y axis is effectiveness of the player while the X axis is skill acquired thus skill required is disproportionate to your effect on the game. You need to get x10 better to have a x2 greater impact. That is a steep learning curve.

I mean, you could just go side to side till you do a little mind-game and double back on one side for a hit.

I can't remember if they were actually interesting in removing the hooked Survivor hit-boxes or not, if not, it must of been a rumor since the issue hasn't been that bad until now.

Well, "issue", it's not that hard to counter, and if you hit a Survivor and they unhooked them you can still hit them afterwards and than hit them again at a loop... if there even is a loop nearby, they might get disoriented after the hit, which happens.

If they get hit without the boost than that's a easy down tbh.

No it's more efficient to just wait. You have 2 survivors not doing a damn thing. While there are only 2 gens left, he has NOED and the chances of the other two survivors doing 2 gens AND finishing all the totems is very very slim (though IDK how long the game was up to this point). If he waits, both of these survivors are dead, and he will likely catch another before they get the gates open. This Claud is basically giving him a 3k as long as he is patient.

If he swings there is a good chance he will hit the guy on the hook thus giving a free escape.

Trust me just wait. Eventually the survivor will try to do something when they realize their mistake.

Isn't the healing speed always capped at 100%?

So, even if you use all these figures, it's still going to stop at 100%... making the seconds only 8 or 7 or something. From the video above it seems to be 8, but it could be 7.

No healing only caps at +100% when using We'll Make It (it says this explicitly on the card, but if you have 2 survivors with heal buffs other than WMI healing you it can get above +100% speed). I tested it and the time was 7.1s exactly. I measure the frames from the moment the progress bar disappeared to the moment the survivor's icon changed. It matches with my math just 0.07s faster which is due to the game only measure time to the tenth of a second and ignoring any trailing digits (ie. not rounding up) and maybe also a small margin of error on my part (maybe 2 frames at most).

  • Uggghhh... hook tech.

Just stand there and wait. You have 2 survivors not doing anything and you're not losing Chaser for camping since there is another survivor within 16m of the hook.

In this specific instance you probably can't hit the Claud, but on most hooks where you can move around it more easily you can hit her. However I'd advise against it, since if you mess up she gets a free rescue out of it.

Huntress and hit her with hatchets though at little to no risk if you miss. And Bubba can hit her with the chainsaw still.

  • Diversion, OOO, Head On, Any Means.

The most meme build ever. Just be a pure pain in the ass for the killer.

I've run this build and it's a lot of fun but you will be a target for sure. You might want to take DS instead of OOO if you aren't confident in your chase ability.

  • Yes. Syringe is affected by any healing buffs/debuffs.

My friends and I tested it and we found the fastest it would work on yourself is 7.1s. You need: Emergency Medkit, Syringe, Abdominal Dressings, Spine Chill, Resilience, and Botany Knowledge. We'll Make It actually makes it SLOWER because it puts a hard cap on heal speed at +100% (or double normal healing). That means any other buffs will be ignored.

According to the math it should take 7.17s but when I tested it and measured the frames it came to 7.1s which is probably due to the way the game calculates this figure and rounds down, only using tenths of a second. Here is the formula:

    16/(1+0.33+0.5+0.25+0.06+0.09)=7.17

Base heal charges needed/(base heal charges per second + BK + Em Medkit + Ab Dressing + Spine Chill + Resil)

However this is somewhat inefficient since it requires you to have a full loadout to get it to work. If you merely have an Em Medkit with Syringe and Ab Dressings the heal time is 9.1s, only 2s longer but you don't need any perks. This works on yourself or other survivors.

Also I'd like to point out I never tested it using it on another survivor, so there is a chance you can get it faster than 7.1s if you have a Ranger Medkit, but I don't think it would go faster than like 6.5s so you're not saving that much time with it.

  • @Almo said:

"Your skill as a killer only goes so far. At the end of the day no matter how good you are, if you go against optimal survivors you are finished."

The very high skill-level Killers would probably disagree... for example the streamers like Fungoose, Ralph, or Tofu who regularly 4k without addons against top Survivors. Ralph is Huntress-only, but he almost never uses M1, either. Fungoose 4ks most of the time with any Killer, while simultaneously giving a brain dump so you can learn from him. Tofu can do full game design discussions while murdering his prey.

As the game is deeply asymmetric, it is true that we have to monitor performance of both sides at different skill levels very carefully. But at the moment, it seems unlikely that Killer skill input is capped too low.

After watching Fungoose for a while now, I'm convinced he's actually two geese in a man suit. One plays DBD while the other explains what's happening. There is no other explanation for what this "man" is capable of.

  • @Rizzo said:

Please keep the discussion civil and respectful, thank you.

  • I see them both a lot nowadays.

Inner Strength is a really great perk. Encourages you to do totems and heals you quickly (good counter to anti-heal tactics).

I like Fixated for the walking speed boost. I have a evader/juker build with Fixated, Sprint Burst, Urban Evasion, and Windows Of Opportunity that is a lot of fun to play because you move faster all around. Though for the record I HATE Urban with a passion, but mostly because the people that use it refuse to do anything but crouch walk everywhere. If you use it sparingly though, for times when you need it, I can accept you.

I haven't really messed with Steve's perks yet, but I wanna try to find a good use for Second Wind. It seems... good... but Inner Strength is better sadly.

And yet this graph says that survivors escape 80% of the time on PC at red ranks.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/644/OVXAEFPK5208.png

And Nurse has been nerfed since then and Ruin is about to be gutted, so I am going to assume this number is going to be much higher soon.

Or y'know, you can stop basing your arguments on misleading stats. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The only misleading aspect of this graph is that rank 1's have an 80% escape rate. The reason for this is that if you do NOT escape, there is a high chance you will depip at rank 1 and therefore your escape (or lack thereof) will count towards rank 2 not rank 1.

The rest of the graph is pretty spot on and not misleading. There is an exception for rank 1 and that's it.

I believe the guy that DC'd was on death hook as they dc'd after getting downed towards mid game. As for Ruin helping mostly against survivors that would have lost anyways: I TOTALLY AGREE. In fact that's what I said numerous times myself. You just notice it too often that people who run around like headless chickens because of Ruin are the same people that go down in seconds.

Yes. Here is an example of what effect Ruin has on a good survivor...

thesuicidefox playing Dead by Daylight: Special Edition. View more XboxOne clips at XboxClips.com

The clip is 1:20 long, or exactly 80 seconds. I missed 1 skill check because I scratch my nose LOL no lie. Yui only came onto the gen to help the last 15 seconds, but she really only helped for 10 seconds because she kept stopping to teabag (IDK why). Without her, at most, this gen would have taken me an extra 5 seconds to do. That's only about a second more than a single stack of Thana.

We ended up losing that game only because the killer (Oni) managed to slug 2 of us at one point and then got them both in the basement, which was really hard to recover. But Ruin did literally nothing to help him, we still did 4 gens (3 before we took down his Ruin). It didn't slow us down much if at all. What slowed us down was having to take major risks to save 2 from his basement. We also kind of 3 gen'd ourselves because of the basement stuff, but the last gen was very close to being done with 2 alive.

This is normal at red ranks on Xbox for those of us that can do skill checks. And I'm not even the best survivor on Xbox. There are plenty of survivors way better than me.

  • @Marcus said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1000381#Comment_1000381

If we are going by the stats, Nurse is the weakest killer in the game and she should be heavily buffed. Stats include : red rank killers playing against lower ranks survivors, survivors suiciding on hooks, survivors being overly altruistic in end game and getting killed only because of that and they don't include killer and survivors set up nor their skill level. These stats also are before Freddy's add-ons were nerfed, when most people were giving up against "Forever Freddy" builds and thus busting his kill rate. So these stats don't hold water and I don't take them into account in tier lists.

The nerfs to Freddy were actually very minimal. I went from 4k 5 gens most games to 4k 4/3 gens. Survivors get more done now yes, but the difference is moot when they all still die long before the gates power.

And yea there are anomalies, but the same could be said about Hag's stats. So at the end of the day there are inferences you can draw about the strength of the killers. Nurse has a low kill rate because she is very difficult to use. Freddy is much easier to use. Hag is harder to use, but I don't see how she can apply more pressure than Freddy in the average match. She is a very strong defensive character, where Freddy is a very strong offensive character, and generally speaking offensive style characters tend to be stronger at the highest levels because you can actively win the game, where defensive style characters are more passive. Being more passive means there is more room to counter play because the other side can move at their own pace. Against offensive style characters this isn't an option, you play at the pace set by that character.

Sorry but nothing you say is going to convince me Hag is stronger than Freddy. She is a good killer no doubt but Freddy has more tools and is more effective at what he does, with fewer counter options and less room to make mistakes.

  • Okay just wanted to ask because I recognize one of the names in the screenshots and I can confirm they are indeed a strong SWF team. Though the fact there was a DC kind of muddles your point just because there are a lot of survivors that insta-DC in certain instances.

That said, I agree with you that majority of games are pretty easy for killer even at red ranks. Most games are actually in your favor. Some games are not. Other games you will get really strong survivors or SWF groups and those will be a challenge, but the thing is Ruin wouldn't make a difference. In fact in my experience, Ruin is more of a hindrance simply because it either gets destroyed within 30 seconds or (when it comes to those good survivors/SWF) makes literally zero difference in gen speeds. I've had Ruin only to have 2-3 gens still pop my first chase like it wasn't even there. And I've been on the giving end of that, in fact tonight my 4 man SWF made at least 2 killers quit by doing 3 gens through Ruin in the first 2 minutes of the game.

Fact is against the best survivors or strong SWF groups, Ruin does nothing to help. It helps a lot against survivors where you could have likely won anyway without Ruin. I've been playing most killers without Ruin for months now and I feel like it's made me a better killer. I can contend with those top players better and I found better tactics.

Ruin is highly overrated by killer mains as the only option. It's not the only option, and it's actually a weak option on top of that. Pop is much MUCH more effective at controlling gen speeds.

  • Bubba because he probably smells like putrid fermented ass.

  • @Marcus said:

Long range hatchets are situational and can be easily countered by aware survivors.

Hag can cut any loop in the game with her traps. There are loops that Huntress simply can't contest.

Hag also has a very strong basement and on top of that, she has better anti loop, map pressure and perk synergy. She outclasses Huntress in almost every aspect.

I am in a Discord with players with thousands hours in the game and all of them agree that Hag is better than Freddy. So your argument about your friends is irrelevant.

Yet Freddy has the highest kill rate across all ranks and the highest kill rate at red ranks. Hag merely has the highest kill rate to pick rate ratio. The stats contradict your arguments. And the difference is significant enough to say that Freddy is clearly a superior killer.

  • @Marcus said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/999347#Comment_999347

Huntress ? The simple fact Hag doesn't get infinited while she does makes Hag much more superior to her. And her range attack is very hindered by map design. And you really overrate Freddy.

But Huntress can potentially get hits/downs from across the map, and she can cut short loops on the first go around. Yea Huntress is hurt by certain loops but she also has insane pressure on groups of survivors. Catch them making a basement save and you can easily just eat through BT and down everyone really fast. They each have advantages and disadvantages. Like I said it's close.

Freddy is not close though, he is far above Hag. I'm not the only one who shares this opinion, I asked a few friends that have +4k hours and are really good survivors. They agree that Freddy is top 3 at least, if not the best killer potentially. He is insanely strong. Maybe you underrate him because he has literally all the tools needed to control the game. Like Freddy with Pop alone is stronger than half of the other killers.

Fact is Hag is not top 3. She is strong but not stronger than the best killers (Nurse, Spirit, Freddy).

  • Huntress. I think she's the only one that really needs it to get early game pressure.

  • @KnotEnthusiast said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/999687#Comment_999687

The only thing that makes Fredward not S tier like Nurse is that the strength of his power is somewhat dictated by if survivors are asleep or not, which is to a small degree in the survivors' control. Other than that, with optimal build and addons, I think he's even better than Spirit. Boring as all hell to play as and against, but very very good.

It's not as in survivor's control as other killer powers. Literally all you need to do is hit them and put them asleep. And while they can go wake up or fail skill checks that takes time, either directly by making them take time to find clocks/other survivors or by increasing action time with failed skill checks.

His base teleport is on a 45 second cooldown. You get up to 60% cooldown reduction if everyone is asleep, which comes out to 30 seconds. Even if they stay awake, 45 seconds isn't very long to wait. If used correctly the pros greatly outweigh the cons.

He is indeed S tier. He has too many tools to be anything else.

  • Freddy is better.

Literally if every killer plays perfectly IMO Freddy is potentially unbeatable.

    Full map teleport.

Snares that shut down every loop in the game bar god pallets.

    Built in Oblivious.

    Built in slow down mechanics.

Freddy has everything. Throw some tracking perks on him with a one shot somewhere maybe and he's god tier.

  • Are these even things that apply to Wraith??

I don't see any mention of "Into The Void" and "Dimensional Rift" regarding Wraith's wiki anywhere. Someone explain.

  • Technically all killer names starts with a T.

    "The..."

    Maybe Terminator LOL

    Hag is good at pursuit.

*hags teleport is WAY faster than freddys and demagorgon. Freddy can tunnel with the dreamcatcher. But aside from that, frefdy isnt that good.

*Setup time? There are addons that increase setup speed. There are alsoaddons thatallow hag to teleport to any trap at any distance. I pair it with the addon that doesnt spawn a trap when triggered, not alerting the prey.

*flashlights help survivors. But it wont if they dont know to shine it at every gen multiple times. If a trap is ttiggered or beaten, a put it back.

    "Freddy isn't that good"

Dude no. Freddy is potentially the strongest killer in the game.

He has a teleport that can get him clear across the map instantly, or be used to bait survivors to leave a gen.

Snares shuts down literally almost every loop in the game. They are RIDICULOUSLY powerful, you can win at jungle gyms with the pallet down that's how strong they are.

He has built in Oblivious meaning he can auto-counter BT which is HUGE.

Waking up acts as a slow down mechanic. He also has chains/ropes to slow down actions. He also has dresses to punish failed skill checks and slow the game. He also has paint brush and black box which are both very strong pink add-ons.

There is no way you could look at all that and say he's not that good with a straight face. He has, by far, the most tools of any killer and they are all very strong tools at that.

  • I've had situations as both survivor and killer where the reveal mechanic doesn't make any sense.

As survivor, I've revealed GF through a wall when I was injured and trying to hide. I was watching him through a window by my character was 100% blocked by the wall.

As survivor, I've sat and stared into his spoopy face and not revealed him.

As killer, I've had survivors reveal me through walls from miles away. I see them on Killer Instinct and there are clear on the other side of some object where it should have been impossible to reveal me.

As killer, I've had survivors just sit there and look at me and nothing happens.

It is very buggy, and generally seems to be a game by game issue. Some games I have no issues, others it's obvious the mechanic is busted.

I just want the devs to review how the reveal mechanic works and fix it to be more consistent for both side. Otherwise I think GF is just fine how he is.

  • 1) Slug if you will waste too much time hooking a survivor.

    2) Slug if you can immediately take a chase on another survivor.

    3) Slug to prevent hatch.

    4) Slug if you don't want to kill that guy just yet (eg. Blood Warden).

    5) Slug to avoid DS.

  • Hag a good killer? Sure.

Hag the best killer? No. Not even close.

Spirit, Nurse and Freddy all have her beat very clearly. Billy and Huntress also but to a lesser degree.

Spirit and Nurse completely dominate in a chase. Hag has to set a trap to win a chase and survivors can just run to another loop. They can also bait her to teleport. Unlike Spirit/Nurse she is still a 110 killer with no way to actually go faster.

Freddy also dominates in a chase with snares and he is 115. He also has a teleport that is superior to Hag's, built in Oblivious, and optional slow down with add-ons. There is no way you can convince me Hag is better than Freddy. He is probably the most dominate killer in the game, even better than Nurse/Spirit all things considered.

Billy is better than Hag. Built in one shot and the ability to sprint around the map faster. Plus he is 115.

Huntress has ranged attacks. That automatically makes her WAY better in chases. Hag has her beat in map pressure. It's very close between the two but I think Huntress edges out Hag ever so slightly.

Hag's major weakness is set up time. Like Trapper she needs to set up traps or else she is powerless. AND her power is hard countered by flashlights and soft countered by crouching. What other killer I mentioned has such counters? None of them. The closest thing is Iron Will against Spirit but that's not a full on hard counter since she can still track you by other means or use Stridor. Hag has nothing to really counter flashlights except Franklin's but that's only going to work if she hits you.

  • Why would you keep it so that you need to Snap Out before you Mend considering the goal is to make Doc less frustrating to play against and this is one of the most frustrating aspects of the killer?

Anyone see yourself in this case?

Just the same as you pay the game and demand everything and insult if the game doesnt turned out to your liking, like the Devs are your grooms.

    This is so so true.

  • You can map them to different buttons in the options.

You want Actions and Pick Up Item/Interactions to be different.

Instead of worrying about transferring your progress just play the game. It's not that serious of a game anyways and you should have fun with it more then you should rage in it. If cross platform comes out they might add a "sign in with Microsoft" feature or "sign in with PlayStation" or whatever feature to there game if they were to add it on PC. Idk that's just my opinion

I have almost 3k hours and every perk on multiple survivors/killers, plus a lot of paid cosmetics. I'm not really down for farming for all that again or being denied content I already paid for.

  • Two things:

    1) Keys don't need to go, but they do need to be reworked.

    2) Don't fix keys without also fixing moris. They both need to be fix at the same time to be fair.

  • "Nice camp"

    Thank you 😀.

  • Worship Tabelt/Prayer Tablet only work when holding Corrupt though, which you are slowed down. IIRC she moves at around 4.2m/s when holding Corrupt Purge (105%) and the tablets increase it by 0.3 and 0.1 m/s respectively. So the net speed would be the same as normal movement. IDK it depends what her base movement speed is when holding Purge.

  • Hitting the Sprint Burster with a hatchet.

  • TR = 20m

    Lullaby = 20m to 45m

  • No but you can teleport to completed gens if you started the teleport action before the gen was completed.
