That doesn't sound bad. what's the difference with what it is now?
The addon reduces the number of hatchets available by 4 but can be equipped with infantry belt to have 3 one shot hatchets. This update just makes it so its capped regardless of any other addons.

For some reason when you manage to escape on your last kobe attempt it kicks you to second stage.

The most recent change they made where he can't instantly fake his m2 and follow it up with an m1 is fair. It was compensated with a reduction of his cooldown when using POTD fully.

if a surviour gets hooked blackbox deactivates so its sorta gimicky plus they have a clock which make u immune to sleep for 90secs. which makes black box sorta useless in some sitaution but still bettter than it is now plus myers have a addon with infinite tier 3 so its not too busted.
Once they get unhooked its a 60s timer until they fall asleep. When they use the clock factoring in the time it takes to get to a clock and back to an objective the timer has already started ticking down. The comparison to Myer's addon can't work since his ultra rare/rares have steep penalties attached to their use, none of which has been proposed here.

paintbrush have not changed and blackbox is to situational to get any use so this would make that ultra rare better since you know ultra rare are post to to be ran together cough mother daughter ring and fathers glasess.
This effect would be blatantly overpowered regardless of how you brush past it. No other iri addon allows that kind of effect and no other killer has the same level of pressure through an alternate state survivors will fall into like Freddy. Your idea while nice isn't what is needed, but I do think the black box needs something substantial since the 10 second effect it has right now is terrible.

it only works when everbody in the dreamworld which means you have plenty of time time to escape the dreamworld before he get to you
Yes its the fact that everyone starts in the dream world that makes that combination seem ridiculous.

I literally told you I was a hypocrite, I wouldn't call that a rebuttal, and I was only timed out for saying someone should seek professional help, not actually telling people they were bipolar or implying that bipolar people are pathetic.
I was definitely wrong in what I said but it doesn't mean I shouldn't call out the same issues.
No point with that guy, just seems like a perpetual ball of anger in every post.

It's a perk to make new players feel safer. That's about it.
Though does preventing the explosion also prevent the temporary freeze on the repair progress? I wouldn't know, but it might balance out if so. Still an utter waste of a perk slot (and a little oddly handled; you could look at Unrelenting as a killer-side mirror, and that doesn't come with any kind of extra drawback for failing the thing you ideally shouldn't be failing.)
It doesn't prevent the freeze, just blocks the sound notification for the killer.

So combine the two addons to have everyone exposed at the start of the match. No thanks.

Bond: Avoid teammates while looping or if I don’t want a particularly immersive and annoying survivor to get away I’ll stick near them.
Self Care: Don’t care about teammates, the hate over self care is overrated
Sprint burst: Very little counterplay killers have to use against it
Decisive: Since it’s nerf killers have been way more tunnel friendly and it’d annoying.
As killer
Bbq: Bloodpoints
Whispers: tracking

Was there ever an explanation for why the perk wasn’t just disabled until the bug is fixed? Seems like the most reasonable thing to do and it’s very frustrating that no explanation is given for why this common sense temporary solution hasn’t been put in place. Maybe an explanation was already given and I just missed it
Most likely it would require a client update similar to the lock on killers preventing you from switching while searching for a match. That seems to be not feasible considering how close we are to the next update.

Ever since DS got it’s rework I’ve still been using it as I normally have. What I have noticed is that not only does it work in less situations now (which is totally fair) Killers really doesn’t respect it much anymore.
Most the time I have DS the killer will pick me and I’ll use it. If it’s a killer who can end chases short say spirit or slinger I’m down in the next 30 or so seconds. Then my DS is gone. If I get unhooked again that killer has free reign to just tunnel me immediately again.
In my opinion DS should activate on both hook stages regardless of if you’ve used it or not. If you need to nerf it agin for compensation you could remove it’s ability to be used during endgame collapse. This way it punishes tunnelling more but for the people who don’t tunnel this buff doesn’t matter
I just feel like current DS doesn’t really do enough to stop tunnelling considering you need to use a perk slot to get it’s effect.
Tell me what you think!
Ironically killers have gotten more upset at me when I’ve used it. Especially when they go straight at me off hook ignoring the unhooker. Ironic lol
-
What sucks is when I’m playing as a rank one killer I get rainbow lobbies and lower ranked survivors. I want to go against full red rank teams but that doesn’t happen every game.

If I wanted easy games, why am I complaining about all these punks who keep suiciding on hooks and disconnecting?
Strawman much?
If you want that statement to apply to you then that’s fine by me. Sucks you have so many people not wanting to play a game with you though.

Addrenaline specifically, I think it's design is kinda outdated. Instaheals kinda went the way of the dodo when the antihemhorragic syringe got nerfed to heal over time. I think Addrenaline should function the same. I think that ignoring exhaustion and getting a speed boost is fine, but I think you should heal over the course of 15 seconds, instead of instantly. Maybe have it reduce the heal time for each gen you personally repair, to incentivize helping with gens more.
I think the effect is just fine, it rewards you getting 5 gens done with 1 full heal and a short speed boost. The heal being instant is perfectly fine since the survivor plays with 3 perks until the endgame.

I want to say its one of the farm maps with cowtree in the middle. Talk about haddonfield/the game maps all you want but it is truly painful to have multiple good spawns for those pallet loops tying shack to a long walll short wall to another long pallet loop to another jungle gym. Haddonfield just feels unfair because of the main structures, other than that it has little else. The Game just has a large number of pallets, and once those are gone you dominate.
-
It felt better controlling a smaller playermodel. Using one of the males just felt clunky after getting used to Meg, Nea, Feng etc.

Doesn't matter what Op is implying, killers just want easy games. It's all they want out of mmr, proven by the complaining when bhvr did their test.

what do you mean, you wanted an easy game so they gave you one.

Why would Hag waste all of her resources on one hook when said traps can be avoided by crouching
Just need a trap and then walk around no more than 40 meters away to immediately go back once someone unhooks
-
Remove his iri addons and maybe that’s a fair trade off.

if that did happen I’d be like yay, another item to clog up my blood webs as survivor. Because we totally need more stuff impeding the grind.

It does the complete opposite if the killer knows what deadhard is. They just wait it out.
I never said those survivors were smart lol, that’s why head on is the best perk. Or sprint burst
-
The only irritating thing about Deathslinger is the sheer power of his ads zoning. Literally forces you to lose distance because at any second he could quickly aim and fire and you can’t react.
-
Cause they are trying to dodge the hit lol that’s why they are looking back.
-
I know it tilts the killer and I do it mainly if they play like they’re malding. Other than that I don’t generally respond with toxicity unless the killer starts it first.

if there are enough fog whisperers to collab together it wouldn't be pointless bc they still get enough traction to see what to expect, if you can watch a YT on the game of pc players doing a PTB you still get a general idea of what to expect, not to mention PTB works against the newer players they're already at a disadvantage bc the matchmaking system isn't perfect. it doesn't look like a PTB will be coming to console anytime soon so why not get rid of it altogether, limit it, or make it to where they do minor small updates and temporarily disable pips so that you can still do a PTB just across all platforms, making it for pc only doesn't take in account of everyone that plays it and since pc players already have a bigger upper hand. The Devs could try to make it at least seem like it could be fair for all platforms on a grander scale of things
Platforms like xbox and sony don't offer the level of control necessary to beta test something. With steam they have full control over the servers and can examine everything and how it works at a functional level. It also gives them a heads up on bugs that otherwise they wouldn't have. As bad as it seems leaving out consoles for the public test build is perfectly fine. You get a heads up on content coming into the game and better yet, any bugs identified are in the pipeline to be fixed for when your platform receives their update. If you want to participate in the ptb maybe just get dbd on pc. You aren't missing out on much but benefitting greatly from the bugs pc players identify before it goes live.

The breakdown one can also hold the game hostage, survivors all running no mither and hang out in 1 corner of the map and they become unhookable.
The legion one arguably does NOT hold the game hostage, because the survivors can just let themselves die.
Survivors still bleed out

Hm, I didn't know that. If that's the case it's unfortunate.
An apt comparison would be the lock for killers queueing up where they can’t switch killers while matchmaking. In order for it to change it would require a client update. As opposed to when they disabled the bloodlust mechanic and BoP didn’t work, it’s telling the server to invoke certain actions if it returns true that it’s enabled, and when it returns false it doesn’t trigger the perk. This really only works for bloodlust since all of the other mechanics are integral to the game and aren’t separated. This means the framework for disabling bloodlust is there but the framework for disabling the hook destruction isn’t so it isn’t as easy as it would seem. But that’s how I would approach it, all in all it seems like it’s just easier to let the midchapter update fix it since that seems like the most erstwhile solution.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
My real problem is: the devs can disable entire maps and even built in mechanics like Bloodlust and the MMR, so how are they unable to disable a perk?
Certain things are handled by the server, other things by the client. Disabling a perk would require a client update which they obviously can’t or are unable to do.

I haven’t even seen any of my survivor main friends talking about it like at all.
I have seen an overwhelming amount of posts from people playing killer though.

Considering popular streamers use filters to see survivors easier it’s not bannable. They even made him a frog whisperer for a while.
-
I skipped buying HSHS because I don't like buying a product that is still in early access. Maybe I will buy it and play when its no longer in early access.
-
Whispers has no counter for survivors so I would assume including all survivors including hooked and dying survivors is a skill gate to require the killer to be good enough to tell when they are 32 meters away from the hooked survivor or if they are basing it off a survivor near the hook. Doesn't need a change.
-
Matchmaking before they started working on mmr was always wack. Late at night I got brand new players. Like really?
-
Depending on the map he either feels fair or extreme oppressive. Don't know why they decide to be toxic though, just my own experience against trickster and how it is to play against him.

Ah, well I think OP just made a inaccuracy in his words.
What he means (according to what I understand) is that because each of the killers are unique unlike survivors when you unlock certain perks you have a bigger grind to go through for the specific perks needed for that killer. For example, for nurse Nurse's Calling is amazing, so you are going around as nurse and relaxing until she is lets say 50. Well the issue is Nurse's Calling is quite terrible for most other killers, so if you ever find this perk for any other killer then its a issue as it only is applicable for one killer in terms of consistent viability.
However if you are a survivor, and you unlock lets say Borrowed time, because of the fact that the survivors are not unique if you ever find that perk in the blood web it is fine and completely viable to use regardless of the killer. There are many great perks for survivors to use for any survivor, but there are less great perks for killer to use on any specific killer.
So if I unlock one of these borderline brick perks for a killer and then I see that same brick perk for a killer that is only a brick as it does not help that killer with significant regard then I am increasing the grind as I need more BP. Now you have to consider there are many many perks that are not good for any one killer, and you will over time unlock many of these perks (3 per killer) that may or may not be a brick for any other killer(s) that you have and you start having issues.
Hopefully I explained that well.
Let’s not forget the multitude of addons which pollute blood webs for survivors. Bringing up your comparison of nurses to bt is illogical. Survivor perks in general work on every survivor since they don’t have the special ability killers have. Perks that work well with one power may not work well with another and that’s just too bad.
Unless the message is to give survivors special abilities to make the grind somewhat fairer since the scenario in which levels are gained is comparable.
-
It’s not ok to do it but I have burned those offerings in the past and laughed my ass off when the killer alt f4s so odds are you are making their day by doing that.
-
Almost like survivors are just skins and don't have unique powers. Killers do so it makes since that you have to grind to get specific builds on specific killers that work well. Insisting that this is not fair is bonkers. Completely dumb.
If anything the grind is not as fair for survivor since their version of bbq requires them to compete with other survivors while the killer gets bbq tokens through normal gameplay.

I think the devs want us to camp and tunnel tbh....
Everytime we get a shift in the meta to where creating alt objectives and creating more reasons for the killer to be up on its feet and getting more hooks (same playstyle as pig btw). Everytime we get a significant playstyle change that pushes us away from camping and tunneling it gets nerfed, and the perks and methods of camping and tunneling get buffed....
I always think to myself nah....no way...the devs wouldn't want that....but sure enough...I think they want us to be #########.
Literally all of my matches when ruin and undying was meta was filled with camping and tunneling. It was miserable and not fun to play. People played like ######### with those perks so I don’t know how that’s any different, it just made it significantly easier for the killer unless the survivors sniped undying early on.
-
It’s hard to take people complaining about stealthy survivors seriously when you also see complaints about toxic loopers abusing loops.

You're apart of it then.
BHVR promised 60 FPS on Xbox One (2013), PS4 (2013) AND lower-spec PC's.
Our PC brethren deserve 60 FPS just as much as any of us Console gamers.
Just to be clear I have a 3060ti and an i9-9900k and am not bottlenecked on system resources but still stutter frames on almost every reworked maps.
