new self unhook bug?

i kobed (got my self off the hook), so i didnt go into 2nd phase, yet when i got hooked again i instantly died? i should have gone into struggle, and no i wasnt the only one, jake and nancy were still alive on a gen

    If you kobe and the struggle attempt would have pushed you into second phase had it failed, the game considers you to have reached second phase. It's unintuitive and terrible, but as of now, that's how it works.

    For some reason when you manage to escape on your last kobe attempt it kicks you to second stage.
