I play Killer because I like getting heart attacks

Wait until people master artist.

Most killers are still obtainable with shards. For licensed at least the perks are. You have 5 killers in base game with very different playstyles. On consoles even more.
there is so much stuff wrong with this game, game balance in favor of survs is one of them. This game being P2P is not true though.
She will get a nerf when people mastered her. So no worries survivors, bhvr got your back :P
-
I always jump into a locker next to anyone who selfcares, they deserve no better! >:-)
-
I did it with insidious hook camping. Was even a pretty fun game though. Works best on in-game maps like Lery's.
-
I agree to a certain extend, blight is a good killer (he is fun to play, because he has litlle cooldowns on his ability and can move fast). But he can be outplayed super easily and is no way a top tier killer. He is okay though, one of the few newer killers that have a nice design and are overall fun to play but also can get very frustrating against survivors who know to outplay him -> limited in this power. Twins? meh, not really a fan to play as, but I like playing against them somehow. Don't think they are really that strong.

This isn't true considering a couple Chapters ago we got Blight who is considered to be a top tier killer.
Twins while more controversial is also really strong when you commit to slugging and camping as that is what she excels at.
Trickster is an exception as even the weakest killers currently in the game have a power worth using and viable against average survivors.
-
Devs are super scared to release strong killers cause they fear the backlash of survivor community. What they tend to forget about is the killer's level of fun. If a killer is simply too limited in his power to be viable (depipster, I like the name because it's true), playing him ain't fun and equals self-torture. All these movement speed restrictions and cooldowns make killer gameplay feel awful imo. Doesn't matter if they will buff him (in two years), he will always be remembered as the weakest trash can of all times. Not viable at all, don't know who is responsible for releasing him in this state. I am just glad that I did not pay any money to behaviour for the last two chapters (which were bs, let's be honest).
-
Trickster so good, I made it to rank 4 with him...from rank 1. And the downward spiral is still ongoing
-
I like being toxic in both roles..But more so as a survivor cause it's more fun and only kills the fun for one person.
-
Running towards hooked survivors or survivors working on gens when being chased. No gud!

game is slow dying
If it really is dying, then most likely not due to perk changes, that give more balance to each side.
-
It's like what they say about sweat swf on comms: Sucks to play against, but happens like in 1 of 50 games (The spirit+ruin+undying combo). So I don't see a problem here.

Your such a hypocrite you literally said my points are invalid yet you said the stuff I mentioned was broken on the other side your analysis is flawed!! Yes I know DS and BT are still strong but back then they were OP as ######### DS all you needed to do was get downed and you stun the killer for 5 seconds then BT would apply the bleed out timer to both survivors. If they favored survivors those 2 perks would still be the same so your argument is flawed
Well, there has been a time when BT was a one-time-use perk and it got buffed again. But that is not the point. Yes, survivors used to have stuff that was ridiculously overpowered and the devs had to adress this. The simple fact that these things have been in the game shows a lack of understanding their own game. So it is not a valid argument if you say "Surivor OP stuff was removed from the game, stop saying only killer get nerfs". The ######### survivors could do was gamebreaking (or it would be nowadays, cause not many players knew how to abuse it back in the days). I can only think of the killers machine gun build coming close to that.
But it is kinda obvious that killers got more nerfs than survivors in the past, especially in the last few months and especially when it comes to killer perks that are supposed to slow down the game. I understand why they do it, but I don't think that it is healthy for the game in the long term. Most games are going too fast, only thing survivors have to do is to pressure the gens. I am not a fan of increasing gen times overall, but I rather like Scott Junds idea of having an "early game collapse", where genspeed is tremendously reduced until the first chase starts/the fist survivor gets hit. If they implement that, I could think about not having to use specific slow-down perks anymore. And I would be happy to not having to use them, cause it makes room for new combinations. Maybe I am wrong, and the nerf of all these perks is just a preparation for the early game collapse...I really hope so. I think this would be a step in the right direction. Nobody enjoys quickie games, neither killers nor survivors.

How come spirit Slinger and Hag haven’t been nerfed yet if they only listen to survivors. There the most complained killers and yet they haven’t been touched while survivors lost god loops, Insta heals, old DS and BT, exhaustion, they added entity blockers and bloodlust to help killers out. People complain everyday about NOED and yet it hasn’t been nerfed so not everything gets nerfed
Well, things that got nerfed on Survivor side were broken af. Insta helas, old BNP, infinite loops. Survivors that days had literally the power to never even get hit by a killer (thank god most of them weren't skilled or experienced enough for that. DS and BT are still VERY strong perks, so that one doesn't count as a nerf. Exhaustion, yea..I remember the time when survivors could sprint burst every 20 seconds without having to stop running in between...broken af. Window blockers after vaulting one window three times during a chase, so you can still pretty much abuse god windows. Bloodlust is bullshit, we all know that. NOED already got nerfed/altered two times.
So none of your arguments is valid.
-
I used to play a lot of Killer but stopped to play the game completeley for several months now and tbh I don't miss having high blood pressure and death wishes in end game chat. Survivors, you won! You can have the game for your own! I will only return, if they announce a really good killer (which won't happen, let's be honest). Until that, enjoy your lobby simulator!
-
No worries guys, devs will look in the statistics, see that it's used quite often among killers, see that survivors are starting to complain about it and give it "a little tweak" until nobody wants to use it anymore.
-
Or within the second half of 2021
-
I would be surprised to see a change to keys within the first half of 2021.
-
I can't see how people can call the changes to Wraith and Trapper "buffs". They are adjustments that won't affect the outcome of a match in the slightest. In other words: they are not even worth being mentioned. Changes to Survivor perks are neither. The reworked perks will be used for meme builds at best. Changes to Clown? Still have to wait for the outcome, but he's one of the many killers, that I don't even wanna touch for a daily. The more and more Killers, Survivors and Perks are added to the game, the more afraid the devs seem to be of shaking up the meta. Every new chapter nowadays is more like: okay another mediocre killer with ridicoulos restrictions and trash perks (except for Blighty Boi, he was a rare exception).
-
To improve the Survivor expierence for new players, they have to "balance" it around potato level (which is okay, cause DBD is supposed to be a casual game IMO). Problem is, that it makes the top tier genrusher groups of Survivors even more powerful. On the other hand, as a killer, I feel like I face "bad" or mediocre survivor teams way more often, than a few months/years ago. So it makes playing killer feel easier, but kinda blurrs the statistics, cause a coordinated Survivor team would probably still steamroll me.
-
Clown will be what he used to be - a ######### Clown. Enjoy, all you people who asked for adding a "scary killer clown" to the game.
-
Hmh, not a big fan of the change. I don't use devour hope, cause it doesn't make sense on Oni. So back to Pop and Monitor and Abuse I guess.
-
Well, I watched the video, saw a few mistakes on your side, but nothing that would have been game-changing I guess. Maybe more frequent use of frenzy would have helped a bit. But, judging by their movement, the survivors were no complete dullies, so it probably would not have given you much more time. It was a good group, genspeed was fast (but not unusual at red ranks) and they split up over the map to work on different gens (which is the right tactics against a legion). The game was never in your hands (this round just shows, how much killer's success can depend on the survivor's performance). Best way is to accept it, shrugg it off and move on to the next round.
-
True, I miss the Oni from PTB. Felt so much better back then.
-
@Kees_T said:
That's normal. On my region, during the day, survivor queue times are fast(like 30 seconds), but Killer queue are long (4+ minute), but during the night, the table shifts, survivor queues is long and Killer queue are fast like 15 seconds.
Seems like people only like to play Killer during the day*
I can also explain why this is the case: If you play Killer at night, you will probably get A LOT of 4 man SWF top tier genrushers. So it's not a very fun experience.

@tj0108 said:
Personally for me nothing has changed, i feel like it will only affect bad killers who overcommit to there chases which if you do that you will loose games as killer anyway.
Im pretty confident it shouldnt affect killers who have basic knowledge on killer and when to let go of chases.
even dowsey thinks bloodlust is dumb and should be removed, hasnt affected him at all either according to him.
Mine neither! Gens are still flying and all exit gates are open after 5 minutes into the game!
-
Honestly, I don't think Clown needs that much of a buff. He can shut down a lot of loops very quickly with his power, if used in the right way. His add-ons as well are pretty good. So, I wonder how he will look like after the re-work.
-
I really don't like to play vs. Freddy (most people play him with full sweaty Set up), GF (no real counterplay here), Legion (no real counterplay on frenzy hits) and probably huntress (just don't like her) .
-
I already abused it and looped a deathslinger there for solid 5 minutes. Was really nice, but it's not an infinte.
-
Super boring Killer to play as and super boring to face. Like most of the M1 killers. I can't understand how people can main this guy cause his playstyle is just so...basic.
-
The bad thing about it, is BHVR will listen to salty no skill survivors. If their statistics will show, that Ruin/Undying is used by killers in more that 70% of the games (oh, I really wonder why), it will get nerfed in one way or another. Cause good killer perk combinations are obvisously not allowed.
-
@Impermanent said:
Christ almighty. Every other... no every 2 out of 3 games is this goddamned broken build. If the devs aren't going to fix it, how about you killers admit that it makes the game easy as goddamned hell and stop running it. I started equipping Small Game to hunt the totems down but it still doesn't help since the aura feature brings the killer to me and I end up getting stopped. Add Tinkerer or an Ebony Mori... this is just more freebie killer fun at survivor expense. When will you devs wake the F up.
Just git gud and do bones. If you think that the perk combination makes every game an ez win for killer, something might just be wrong with your playstyle.
-
Its bugged for the blight, but works fine with Oni...even though Oni gets too little deviousness points anyway lul

Lol, I think im done with you.
First of all:
- Not every survivor team is one of the strongest teams ever (If anything that's the 1%)
- Killers are not entitled either to have a killer that has 0 counterplay and is overpowered
- Killers has been easier than ever, so killers have it easy too.
- No, not every survivor team is the strongest. They don't even have to be, they just have to be quick with the gens. And trust me, there are enough teams (even solo queue) that know how to pressure gens. In combination with some strong perks, you will get some serious trouble as a killer.
- As mentioned above, the Spirit has counterplay. Just because you might not be familiar with it, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Btw, none of the killers is actually "overpowered"
- Killer is just as easy as the survivors will make it for you. Many games I played (as killer and survivor) could have went far better for the survivor side, if basic mistakes would be avoided (like unhooking someone in front of the killers face, not commiting to a gen that is almost done when killer approaches, poor looping etc.).
I think I am done with you too, you are obviously not very familiar with this game.

Im not saying DS cant be a problem. Both otz and scott both get 4ks the majority of the time.
While you might lose a game or 2 due to a ds most experienced killers will just eat DS early game.
And i dont watch much scott but otz does tunnel. Ive watched multiple games where hes like lets eat this ds he goes for the pickup but there is no DS and he hooks anyway.
Its give and take some times you you eat one. Theres been plenty of games where i havent even got to use my DS and wasted a perk slot.
Its not impossible to play around its just annoying.
Be smart and remember who you hooked last and ds isnt a problem the majority of the time.
I call bs on that. DS runs for too long. If you apply high pressure on survivors without tunneling, you still have to deal with it. Against good teams, you have to keep up the pressure, which means constant traveling from A to B, down survivors on different sides of the map, and travel back from B to A. This is usually the playstyle I enjoy the most, that's why I only play high mobility killers. And still, I have to deal with DS a lot, cause I downed someone at A, hook him, travel to B, hook another one, go back to A, down the rescuer (yes, I always go for the rescuer first), hook him, find the person I hooked first, down him and get DS'd (ah yes, if I slug him he will be insta rescued (new WGLF ftw) or he runs UB). No tunneling but I still get punished. Sorry I don't have time to set up a watch to count down 60 seconds from hook rescue every time...I am sweating way too much during my games!

And what was old spirit?
Spirit was/is one of the few killers that can compete with the strongest survivor teams without having a ridicoulusly high skill cap. Of course, as a survivor, it can be frustrating to get caught at every loop, seemingly without a chance to outplay her. With her power, she can end chases very quickly. That's what a killers power should do imo. Point. Survivors are not entitled to 3 gen loop every single killer. Survivors have it easy enough in this game anyways.

its not like the moans are extremely load and it only happens every 2ish seconds so you can still suprise survivors with it. I would say its definetely less effective now though.
It is super easy to track her, if you are using a headset. The 2ish seconds are more that enough to know where she is coming from. Only thing she can suprise survivors now is with super speedy add-ons.
-
SAme for me when I play matches with the blight.
-
Thank you.
-
Blighty Boi and Oni, all other killers stink like poo-poo!
-
Ever since Crossplay is a thing, I only see console players running all the same small PP build on survivor..
-
I am a killer main, but also play survivor a lot and tbh, I see waayy more toxicity coming from survivors towards the killer, and not the other way round. But hey, it's just my 2.3k hours of experience.
-
Probably they count survivors DC's as sacrifices as well
-
I would at least like to see after a match, who was in a swf with whom. Survivors often don't wanna admit, when asked, if they were in a swf . Would be nice, just for the info. Only then I could really tell, if swf is harder to play against or not.
-
I don't even have time to break them, cause if I'd do, 3 gens would pop in the same time.

Well, blight is okay-ish, but Oh-tofu doesn't really played against people who know how to dogde his attacks in his videos. Except for one time, when 3 or 4 survivors escaped :D.
And he is reallly really really add-on dependent. The right add-ons make him very powerful, otherwise he is just okay.

@ZCerebrate said:
So for awhile I just watched OhTofu as a funny guy who played as an average to mediocre killer- considering how inattentive he is throughout the match (but he is running machine gun commentary as it's rare to not hear him rambling in some entertaining way) for tracking survivor's hooks, perks and perception of time. He's definitely worse at the game than people like Otzdarva or ScottJund (or even Tru3) because he's literally just playing to have fun instead of trying to optimize every inch...Anyways.
Not sure if Blight just clicked with him but watching some of his curving and lethal rushes - I willingly admit he is definitely a better Blight than me and worth a watch if you want to dig through his 5~ so most recent videos showcasing Blight.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFtfC22GrpI&ab_channel=OhTofu
While an Alchemist Ring showcase, this one at 14:00 shows a nifty hit at Killer shack among other things that seem basic but refutes those, "You can't use his power at loops" naysayers. He only struggles with very tight small unsafe loops (for using his power) in which case you are still a 115% M1 killer... bring Brutal strength or his Irris Compound to take care of annoying pallet loops or gun for someone else with your high 230% mobility.
Well, blight is okay-ish, but Oh-tofu doesn't really played against people who know how to dogde his attacks in his videos. Except for one time, when 3 or 4 survivors escaped :D.

Congrats, you've just outted yourself as bad at the game, blight is insanely good at map control, gen pressuring and finidhing chases in unique, fast, and precise ways. yeah theres a slight learning curve, but if you play for maybe a couple hours you get the hang of it, but to say hes one of the worst in the game really shows how garbage you are at this game.
Well, now that I have played him a bit more I actually do agree...he is in fact a really good killer. And hell yes, he is a lot of fun if you just start to know how to play him. I did him so wrong, sorry blighty boy!!
