If we get crossplay then you could probably get the mask but thatd require choosing your pc account over your console one.

You jump, killer downs you, you get into a 1 min stare contest.
That's what would happen.
You get back up with unbreakable killer goes to swing and you dh. (This is basically my ultimate unhook build).
-
I think it should just allow you to jump off if you get hooked last before peopld say "but the killer will just down you again" idk if borrowed time applies to self unhooks but ds definitely does. Imagine jumping off the hook getting downed ds the killer run off get to the hatch and jump in. Boom.
-
Im all for if the survivors and killers got a bit more bp if those 2 had to be used. I love how i could have a amazing game have like 2 or 3 gens left and the last 2 survivors are on deathhook and they escape via a completly apparently fair item. Or when im destroying a killer and they have like 1 gen left and its my second down and they can instakill me via a totally fair item. So if you need to use those some compensation is nice. A mori already gives killer less points though doesnt a key escape give more than a normal escape?

GF: Ending chases fast (and believe me, he does that REALLY good)
Myers: EW is just a massive tool of map pressure by itself, once you reach Tier III you will have survivors biting their nails off
Leatherface: Ending chases fast
Pig: Ending chases fast, plus, RBT helps slow the game down a tad.
Legion? Because by the time you get to the next person with your power the first could be already finished mending. Also his power doesnt down unlike deathslinger.

When I’m not My Claudette main and I’m my wraith main. I play fair and give survivors a chance to do objectives But if a survivor is shows me that they are beyond salty and toxic they must go👍. I know as a killer it’s our job to kill cause that’s the main goal of the killer. But I really don’t care for the 4K blood points much. I mean getting them is great and all but I’d rather just have fun doing chases. I know some killers enjoy ruining the fun for survivors and that’s their choice. But you shouldn’t always be sweaty for blood points always. I mean unless you’re doing it for a challenge then that’s fine. But when I play as Claudette I notice some killers just do it either because they had a bad match before and they take it out on the next group. Or they’re just rotten apples in general so their entertainment is ruining others game experience. But not all killers of course though I’ve had some genuine killers who I’m now friends with on ps4 😀.
Mk...so what killer would you like to see more and less? Lol.

Thats interesting i see most people say the opposite because of how bs apparently freddy and spirit are lol

We need a option to deny the unhook by kicking the survivor in the face if the killers within like 10 meters of the hook and the survivor isnt running bt you can deny the unhook. In those cases the killer will wait beside the hook to down you instantly so if you deny it it gives the survivor time to bail since the killer wont expect it.

It's has a high chance of wrecking ######### for ALL killers, not just vpns. It doesn't take a ridiculous ping on both sides to create those weird hits. Even a modest ping from both players will create suspect hits. In those games (not the crazy high ping stuff), the killer is basically on top of you when he hits you, according to his screen. He's a bit outside of range on yours though. From the way it was phrased, the validation making it "more fair" sounds an awful lot like it's going to err on the side of the survivor. Like how grabs currently work. If it winds up that even regular hits have the reliability of a Gen grab now? Yeah, there's going to be riots.
As always, we won't know til we see anything. Most of the "promised land" solutions people think we're getting don't usually wind up working out nearly as well as they did on paper.
yes but on the other side the killer could be nowhere to be seen and suddenly you go down. I faced a doctor who would literally swing like 50 feet away and id still take the damage. And i had a ghostface who walked away and then suddenly i get hit on the other side of the loop. so does the benefits outweigh the negatives?

Because Devour Hope can provide benefits during the match while survivors still have generators to repair. Hex: Devour Hope has a lot more potential than NOED does because it can be used to mori survivors.
Hex: No One Escapes Death only activates at the end of the game, for a relatively small portion of the match. It provides a benefit to the killer when the game has likely gone largely in the survivors' favor.
Yeah but the chances of getting that mori is low against a decent team. And the fact that its active during the match is a disadvantage as well as the amount of times ive hit DH in the first like minute is funny.

Just to do the math because I feel like it:
To take a character from Level 1 to 50 requires roughly around 1.750.000 Bloodpoints. Times that 3 times if you want to prestige the character, then there is a minimum of 5.250.000 Bloodpoints just to Prestige 3 Level 50 ONE CHARACTER. In total, there are currently 39 Characters for both Survivors and Killers. Meaning if you want to Prestige 3 Level 50 all of them, you need 204.570.000 Bloodpoints AT A MINIMUM (This is assuming you get are incredibly efficient with your Bloodwebs.
AND NOT ONLY THAT, if you want to get every perk in the game, you need roughly around 35.000.000 Bloodpoints. So, 1.750.000 away from the initial levelling and you still need 33.250.000 Bloodpoints to get every perk in the game on a single character. Which means you need to accumulate AT MINIMUM 1.296.750.000 Bloodpoints alongside the 204 million you need to Prestige 3 Level 50 every character in the game AND THAT IS IF YOU ARE BEING AS EFFICIENT AS POSSIBLE WITH YOUR BLOODWEB GRINDING.
Eternity is putting it mildly. Because this number can make BBQ and WGLF seem MANDATORY to some.
And dont forget the devs want you to get it on the switch on console and phone which theres no cross progression. I finally just maxed my stuff on ps4 and then got a gaming pc and thought id get dbd. Back to playing for another 2k hours to max again...

I guess we are coming to the point were Killers really want Survivors to spawn on the Hook.
I think its moreso survivors (speaking for myself as well here) every patch find a spot to basically make it impossible for the killer to catch up. Survivors magnet toward infinites. (Hell before the update i had multiple people keep running to the ironworks building infinite everytime i chased them). And the devs did say they wanted to get rid of most if not all of the infinites.

I p3d claudette just because i wanted to have a p3 character but i dont blend and killers just assume im a blendette and tunnel and camp so i was kinda forced by killers to take the actual blendette role. But yeah full blood is good if your claud.

So firstly, devs don't like doing 2x BP events for a long time because they flood the economy. Every game is either a mori with double ur addons or a SweatWithFriends™ death squad who want to use the best everything. Hence why it was 1.5x.
Secondly, you had almosy month and didn't take advantage of it. You sound just like the people on the forums at the time saying "only 3 weeks/only 1.5x" bearing in mind the developers could have done NOTHING. Be grateful we had something, don't demand any more.
The only problem is that the amount of bp you can get (especially for survivor) sucks compared to the grind for this game. Thats why ive said multiple times this game needs to raise the bp cap or something i just got all my stuff on survivor and half of killer after like 2000 hours of gameplay. Then i get a pc and have to redo it. Oh dbd on switch? Oh dbd mobile? Like okay devs lol. They just need to give more bp and adjust rarities i have like 60 ebonies and like 5 ivories on ghostface.

Of course its not a lie. But its no different to him not killing other people he easily could have but didn't in other movies e.g. the Nurse in the original when he escaped. Michael is unpredictable.
"His motivations aren’t entirely clear. All he’s doing is not entirely clear. " - John Carpenter.
There is nobody he won't kill, which again the movies have shown. This is not my opinion. This is a fact.
And my fact is theres some people he choses not to this is a fact as well.

Michael tried to kill a baby in Halloween 6. Michael murdered a child in the 2018 movie. You cannot say Michael would never do either. They are both there in the movies. Its irrefutable fact. What's your next example?
FYI Halloween 2018 is not a reboot. Its a sequel. It takes place 40 years after the original. Its no different to Halloween H20 which just cherry picked which movie it was a sequel to.
Then your saying the director lied when we literally see him walk up to the crib look at the child and walk away? Its a irrefutable fact that i see literally michael walk up to a crying baby whos defenseless looks down at it and walks away. The director even admits it was his choice to do so and its the one ethical choice michael makes during the movie. And mb they said its a reinvention i got confused. Green said what he said stop trying to deny his words and michaels actions. Your move.

John Carpenter's word trumps any director's word that came after him. Carpenter created Michael Myers. He is the authority. I don't know why you keep quoting Gordon Green either. He had Michael murder a child for no reason. His movie just helped support Carpenter's words.
He also basically admitted michael wouldnt kill a baby. And pretty sure thats not how it works with other timelines with directors lol. Halloween 2018 was a reboot that made all the other movies non canon to my knowledge because some of them were pretty bad.

There is no difference. Michael, the true original Carpenter vision of Michael, is he is unpredictable. Why didn't he murder the Nurse who was with Loomis when he stole her car and escaped in the original? Why did he focus on Laurie and her friends to murder?
Here is quote about Myers straight from his creator John Carpenter himself; "He’s a guy that has no personality, no character. He’s more like a force than he is human, but he skirts the edge on that. I was just playing around with it. I think that’s what makes that movie fun – the impossible, invisible, standing-in-the dark force that is Michael Myers. He’s going to kill you, and his motivations aren’t entirely clear. All he’s doing is not entirely clear.
He’s just pure evil. ”
Source: https://halloweendailynews.com/2014/10/john-carpenter-interview/
Lol I can't believe I had to dig that out for something that is already spelled out in the movies.
Yet when the director is asked when he doesnt kill the baby the director says this.
In fact, when asked about Myers’ decision not to commit infanticide, Halloween co-writer and director David Gordon Green admits that it is “the one ethical choice he [Myers] makes.” and while the creator is nice the director directs what happens in the movie they are the end all. Same thing with the nurse. While hes evil he has lines he wont cross looks like.

Dude you're just choosing to look the 2018 movie (which he even murders a kid in lol). So I don't get your logic here. Why is looking at the other movies not valid just because the 2018 movie isn't including them? The Halloween 1, II, 4, 5, and 6 timeline is bigger and more inclusive than any of the others. Does that make them more valid than you cherry picking one movie to focus on?
But lets play devil's advocate and look at this one example you are so focused on; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEk58AqUVHg&t=3m7s
Look at that scene. Michael is hiding in the back seat of a car that already has keys sitting in the ignition. If all he wanted was the car why didn't he take it before the kid got back? Why didn't he just toss the kid out instead of murdering him, or are you trying to sell the idea he needed to kill the kid in order to get the car off him lol?
Michael waited for that poor kid to come back and murdered him. Plain and simple. So your claim he won't kill kids unnecessarily is totally wrong. Its a fact shown on screen.
Why didnt he kill the 2 other kids though and the baby then? He even looks at the baby after walking up to its crib. Whats the difference between the kid at the beggining and the kids half way through.
In fact, when asked about Myers’ decision not to commit infanticide, Halloween co-writer and director David Gordon Green admits that it is “the one ethical choice he [Myers] makes.”

Why are they non canon? The Halloween franchise has several timelines. They are all canon depending on which timeline you look at. I could say the original Halloween is non canon if I just looked at Halloween III which doesn't even have Michael Myers lol. Or the Rob Zombie movies.
Michael needed the car that's why he had to murder the child? Pull the other one its got bells on it. He was HIDING in the back seat waiting. What was stopping him from just taking the car before the kid got back? Or why did he have to murder the kid to take the car? You trying to tell him he couldn't have just tossed the kid out and taken the car lol?
Look at the original movie when he escaped. He could have killed the Nurse and taken her car if he wanted to, but he didn't. He just scared her out of it and took it.
Idk but these both take place in the same movie which he spares the kids who bump into him and the baby in the crib and in the beggining he murdered that kid so. And on canon halloween 2018 replaced all the other sequels as a sequel to halloween.
"The timeline now goes: Halloween (1978) and Halloween (2018). That's it. Those events of the other movies may not be “canon” for the new movie, much to the chagrin of fans, but the filmmakers still plan on having throwbacks and references to them for the eagle eyed fans that are hoping for some kind of acknowledgment."

I guess you missed the scene in the 2018 movie where he murders a little boy. Or Halloween 4 and 5 where he tries to murder his 8 year old niece, and then in Halloween 6 her new born baby.
The others where made non cannon by 2018 and yes in the beggining he does kill the kid because hes in his way and he needs the car. But he wont kill a kid/baby for no reason. Same with the kids who were out trick or treating one literally walked right up to him and talked to him.
"While the rest of the movie works tirelessly to convince us that Myers is an unrepentant monster, his decision not to kill a defenseless, crying baby shows that he may actually have a shred of humanity left in him. Even Myers, who is meant to represent evil personified, knows that killing a baby is simply too dark and decides to stick to murdering adults instead"

Oh well then definitely Michael Myers. Other movie killers usually had something awful happen to them like Candyman, Jason, Jigsaw, Bubba etc. Even Freddy had an abusive father when he was a kid. But Michael, from what we can tell he had a normal happy home. Then one Halloween night when he was 6 years old, he picked up a knife and murdered his older sister for no reason at all.
Ever since he's never wanted to put the knife down. As Dr. Loomis said he's purely and simply evil.
Yet even he wont kill a child according to the director. This is emphasized in the new movie when he walks to a babies crib and looks at the baby before walking away. Also he walks past a bunch of kids who talk to him in the movie.
"As Myers is slaughtering his latest victim, the faint cry of a baby can be heard in the background. This immediately puts the audience on edge and as we follow Myers around the house, we can hear him getting closer to the baby. And in perhaps the tensest moment of the entire film, Myers finally reaches the crib and an unthinkable thought enters your mind, “Holy #########. Is Myers going to murder that baby?” The answer is, thankfully, no. After seeming to pause for a split second, Myers decides to leave the baby unharmed (other than the obvious damage of having murdered the child’s mom) and heads back out to slice and dice a few more unsuspecting suburbanites on his way to exact revenge against Laurie Strode"

Now about 3 out of 5 games I end up pulling a skeleton or dull key, those other times pulling Rainbow maps or purple toolboxes/flashlights. I've attempted the same build with other survivors, but had no such luck. Is this the entity's doing or is Nea just lucky?
Legend states nea was supposed to be a killer way stronger than the legion but the entity was afraid hed lose control of her so he turned her into a survivor but she maintains some of her power linked to the entity so her true power lays dormant and eventually will awaken and she will be the strongest killer ever.

Deliverance isn't RNG, as you very well know. If something's certain, then it's not random, by definition.
I think the devs like the RNG factor of the Trapper. Making escapes certain after a number of attempts would require reworking his add-ons.
Im honestly surprised he doesnt have a addon to make it harder to escape itd still be rng survivors have slippery and how many luck addons? Also other perks like up the ante.

It's either random (meaning follows a certain probabilistic distribution) or it's controlled (meaning it's pre-determined). Can't have it both ways. Slippery Meat increases the probability, but it's still random.
They could make it cap at like 10 but lower the chance to 20% meaning you could get that 10 more often but your not gonna get something absurd like 20 tries. Survivors get perks and items that make it easier to get out of rng and basically cheat it. Literally deliverance gives you a guaranteed unhook hows that rng?
-
@Orion said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1268636#Comment_1268636
In other words, you want it to not be random any more.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1268664#Comment_1268664
That is what they do. Computers, being deterministic machines, are not capable of true randomness. They use pseudo-random algorithms (already written in every programming language, they didn't write the algorithms themselves) that are indistinguishable from the real thing unless you examine the output values one by one and realize they're in a sequence (of about 2^32 numbers, if not higher).
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1268707#Comment_1268707
Guaranteeing that it happens at a certain point is literally the opposite of random.
You can still have it be random but make it more controlled so you dont take like 15 tries to get out of it and you dont have everyone getting out of it first try. They already made it slightly controlled with slippery meat which makes the 25% chance a 50% chance. So you wanna talk about removal of randomness.
-
@Orion said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1268625#Comment_1268625
RNG is RNG. The "R" stands for "Random".
It could be alittle more controlled so it cant take between 1 and 20 tries because obviously a trapper would have a easy game if all survivors took like 15 chances to escape and a hard game if it took them all 1. Like how otz suggested and he is a trapper main. Same with the pig and her jigsaw boxes.

DS is a momentum breaker, so it's godlike against spirit and nurse. BT triggers against any killer (except scratched mirror myers lol) if you time it right. DH works against instadown killers after your first hook. SB is a good alternative. Unbreakable counters slugging = the counter to DS.
For like ghostface or pig though they could just tap their ability when your unhooking so it goes both ways. I had a ghostface tap shroud right when we were unhooking then down the survivor instantly through bt.

But what would you add to it? At the moment it's a high risk, low reward perk. It needs to be a high risk, high reward perk.
Its really unfortunate when you face a oni though i had to do the escape as no mither challenge for rift and i got multiple onis which there was nothing i could do but basically be there as a infinite source of blood.
-
I mean im fine if it had the duration paused if you were slugged but deactivated when another survivor is hooked or you do some action like a gen or unhook because then it actually does the job people wants it to do. You wanna tunnel your getting hit no ways around it but that one ds ######### cant come save with ds then when i punish him for being a idiot i get punished for it. Want a good example of ds abuse? Here.
https://clips.twitch.tv/VibrantElegantSashimiOSsloth https://www.twitch.tv/otzdarva/clip/VibrantElegantSashimiOSsloth?filter=clips&range=7d&sort=time(first one didnt work for some reason) In a logical sense theyd be trading places on the hook but nope ds turns it into a "you apparently tunneled and got punished for doing your job GG boi". Combine that with the fact a survivor could just be working on a gen and when you come around they just hop in a locker so you can either wait to pull them out or just pull them out and eat it or go after another survivor and let them keep working on the gen.
