Survivor Mains just want to have Killers like Sadako who cleary has no Power. No Anti loop, no chase Power, no Gen defense just a Killer whit no Power that Survivors CAN loop and teabag for ever

Tbh sadako has a vert effective playstyle however it is deemed unfun and uncounterable.

If survivor use Lithe + MfT together, it's actually not bad for killer. Because when they jump, both perks will gone.

This combo not allow me to jump which is so bad. Loops are strong when you use pallets and vaults together. I just don't see this combo is good enough. However Hope + MfT is different topic, i think this need to be looked.

I on the opposite disagree, hope+made for this only takes effect on endgame and tbf the killer already has failed miserably at that point, so the survivors having that advantage for what little is left of the match is a non issue for me, also regarding m1 killers against that combo, if you play them you already accepted the loss at the character selection screen so perks being specially effective against them is just another thursday.

I can loop killer longer if i use vaults and pallets together.

Why i use MfT and Lithe which will not allow me to jump? This is just bad combo to use.

I mean I get your point but being realistic the majority of survivors will benefit more from using the one extra loop mtf gives you and the time waste of lithe.

However you are right a good survivor can probably loop say a jungle gym with mft for like 60 s+ using vaults and no exhaustion, I just don't think its common from my soloq experience at the least.

You can't use it with Lithe & SB, sorry for ruining this for you but you just can't.

SB is really hard to keep at 99% and for Lithe, you can't jump vaults because then you will lose both of your perks. If you can't jump vaults which means easy chase for killer.

DH is already dead perk. If DH has use with MfT, it's not too bad because just because you have DH, it does not mean you will activate it. Killer still can wait for out.

The only good combo BL & MfT but this alright because it's not easy to activate BL. You need to be near hill, second floor etc.

How can you not use lithe with it, mtf deactivates with exhaustion so you just greed the pallet and when bloodlusts kicks in you vault, I dont see how this is not possible?

There are many loops where you are not forced to vault and can get tons of value from both perks, like high wall loops where you can just hug the loop until bl kicks in and the predrop and keep hugging or while the killer breaks use lithe.

Nah dude if he is op I must feel bad when you face such beast the likes of pig, clown or god forbid trapper, they sure be op. A killer that you can literally turn off his power and easily at that yet people still manage to find him op lmao.

Main difference being, people were complaining killers were running around with 1000% gen regression that gave difficult skill checks and locked gens on a single build and in this case people are complaining over a worse version of an exhaustion perk that isn't even compatible with other exhaustion perks and only ever activates after getting hit at least once.

The toolbox regen perk is op, the 3% move speed is op, second chances like Dead Hard are OP, playing with 1 less perk throughout the entire match to save your ass in end game with Decisive was also OP... so what exactly do people want survivors to have? Like, just run around perkless and drop dead on sight?

What do you mean it can't be paired with exhaustion? Literally any exhaustion perk save for sprintburst and overcome are good with mft, I can just use the speedboost to loop and if somehow I mess that up I can DH/lithe out of the problem, literally so much time waste, how can people not see how good of a combo that is, like yeah mtf wont be activated after you used dh/lithe but by that time any half decent player should have wasted time equivalent to two gen repairs.

Im literally comvinced this perk is like hyperfocus, people do not see how good it is because they are not good enough to use it, like under that pretence alch ring iri tag blight is A ok since I cannot hit a lethal rush.

  • I love playing dredge, this happens often when you start playing him and getting used to it, but it becomes a non issue later at least for me, imo the controls are better like that because its easier to react with a click, so the remnant can be used better in a quick chase.

What is the point on making tier lists based off of 6000+ comp players? They don’t affect the vast majority of the players, and this information is useless to most people, as it doesn’t help the vast majority of players figure out which killers are top tier in the games they are personally playing in.

Also, if we really want to base tier lists off of the absolute best of the best, Blight is currently beating Nurse with a 1000+ win streak. Nurse got too many nerfs, and she doesn’t have any OP addons. Meanwhile, Blight still has all his OP addons.

Because if we made tierlist for the average survivor, then all killer are S tier, as the average soloQ team has no idea what they are doing.

So I guess yeah you could have a tierlist for that every killer is at the same tier.

So good survivors can get good value from this perk, let's nerf it?

Alright, let's nerf Nurse & Blight as well. Because good killers have amazing value from them.

Isn't this already what every survivors asks tho? Like im sure 99% of people that regulary play survivor would agree to literally nuke those killers since good players can actually do something with them.

  • If survivors shomehow manage to go down while being able to literally turn off his power I think even a perkless trapper can destroy that team.

  • Wait a second so what you are saying for huntress is she is ok because a fully charged hatchet can hit them, did you acount for the survivor to actually be sentient and use LoS blocker to just gain distance and dont care about hatchets, same as slinger he only has 18 m of shooting range and trickster, same as slinger by the time you get injured you should either make hell on earth in a loop for him or use the speedboost to navigate better while using LoS to not get caught MtF, are we assuming people just run in the open without baiting hits or using LoS blockers?

Not agreeing nor disagreeing about the strength of this killer, but historically the "killer is still new" argument has been for the better...I think pyramid head is a great example with how everyone thought he was extremely weak yet now he's A tier despite not having really received any buffs during the period.

I said recently as there have been exceptions, but honestly, it doesnt take 200 h of playing a killer to identify flaws in their design, specially if you have played dbd for a long time, and as much as yes new mechanics being introduced can skew the perception of balance, some very experience players have shown to be able to identify issues with new content that ends up being true.

  • Dredge, simply because survivors cannot literally strip your power away from you.

  • @Mockingjay_S451 said:

Ahhhhh… didn’t take long for the NERF THE EMPs FURTHER talk. 🤣

Like for God sake, the killer is BRAND NEW. Maybe some practice is needed to get better at using him?

Last chapter people said: "why are you complaining about 3 genning with this killer, people will adapt and its not like its the optimal playstyle on skull merchant" wow that turned alright, or with knight people mentioned clear issues at his release but there is always the argument of " the killer is still new" which recently has been proven wrong by just experience alone.

  • @Iron_Cutlass said:

"Singularity is D-Tier", "It's power is top tier for camping", and "Only used the Biopods like Cameras" tells me everything I need to know.

Just because you fundamentally do not understand how the play the Killer does not make them weak, let me question you this, is Nurse "weak" because some people suck at her? No, we see people play Nurse at the top level and comp for a reason, because she is one of the strongest Killers in the game.

The issue that you are having is that Singularity's Biopods are not like Cameras, you can infect Survivors with them, and it forces them to respect the sightlines of them. And once a Survivor is infect, you can directly hit them with your ability (no need to use Biopods) to teleport to them. Placement is insanely important to get that initial infection, and if your placement sucks, you will be punished heavily.

Also their Biopods shoot significantly slower when near a hooked Survivor, making his ability to camp not as strong as people make it out to be. Yes you can get information from it, but unless you are sitting right by the hooked Survivor you have no realistic way to capitalize on that information... which basically means you have to actually camp for them to be good at camping... which effectively accomplishes nothing productive.

A lot of other stuff isnt really listed in their power, the description could be improved, but it takes like 5-minutes of research to learn how to use their power on a basic level.

Yet I can use an EMP and his power goes..ploof aout the window.

    I would say the same.

I guess it will be used a lot, especially because Killers are hyping it up as an "OP"-Perk. And people will soon realize that Sprint Burst or Lithe are simply better and will go back to those Perks.

The only people who will use Made for this will be those who did not run Exhaustion Perks in the first place.

I genuinly think it will fade into obscurity not because its bad but because the average player is incredibly bad, same case as hyperfocus, a good player with made for this can absolutelly make life hell in a good loop setup, and they can pair it with dh so when the speedboost is not enough you dh and reset bloodlust and then continue looping with normal speed.

However the average survivor will equip hyperfocus because content creators say its good, will force a hit to try the perk, go down in less than 40 seconds somehow and then reach the conclusion of made for this is a bad perk.

It will pile up with lucky break and hyperfocus as amazing perks that are strong af, but since people are not enough to use it they are deemed awful.

Really? Hmm, what makes it so good for Slinky that its not for others?

Main road gives you a lot of place to shoot, and in that middle place there is not much clutter they can use to block the chain, also many loops in that maps have small gaps between bushes that you can shoot trhough, and best thing the house of invincibility has very narrow entrances guaranteeing you a shot when they go there.

  • Not really, I know garden of joy is horribly designed but its actually my favourite map, however I know people use it to give a horrible experience to killers, so I find it hilarious when I actually enjoy the match and they suddenly do not enjoy the match.

  • As a slinger enjoyer that map is good for him so each time someone sends me to GoJ I make sure they learn that it is a good slinger map, I have acumulated so much BM mesages of people who were not satisfied of how matches turn out, very recomended would do it again 8/10.

  • I do not think they got shadow buff but rather its player behavior that changed, before hexes actually meant a threath so when you saw the curse icon you went for the hex, and in turn since many people used hexes you memorized the hex spots making it easier to find them.

However nowadays there are like 2 hexes that are actually dangerous, and even then not many people use them, so survivors have no incentive to cleanse an therefore dont memorize totem spots.

I personally do know almost all totem spawns, but if I see something the likes of ruin/lullaby, it doesn't even become an innconvenience so I do not waste time searching for that totem.

And just like every other survivor perk people claim to be good, they won't be ran by a single person.

The last survivor perk that was actually decent was Reassurance, but I don't even know if I should consider it as a perk since it's a bandaid fix to a big issue.

This id actually a weird phenomenom, unless a perk literally gives you value capable of single handendly win the match, most survivors wont run it, for example I am baffled people genuinly think lucky break is a bad perk, it literally gives you a free escape from 1 chase at the very least, yet people say its bad, same with hyperfocus, but since people cannot hit greats its somehow deemed as bad, like under that regard blight is useless because I cant hit lethal rushes, idk its something that has always bugged me how some people deem perks that are genuinly even comp viable as useless because they are simply waiting for perks that literally play for them, not all people but many.

I didn't expect to be hoping to get RPD one day lol.

I didn't play much when GoJ came out and didn't play at all for Borgo. I absolutely hate GoJ bc there's too much clutter and I can barely see anything. As for Borgo I haven't played on it much but it feels similar in the "why is this random small object blocking my way for no reason" department.

I always die very quickly on these two maps bc I run into things that don't look like they have collision or that I just didn't see, so ig I'll just be the weak link this week.

Take the week as a good thing, since you are playing survivor equip windows of opportunitty and look up tutorials on how to run GoJ main building, you will find yourself enjoying invincibility for some matches.

I play 70:30 survivor to killer and literally faced bully squads twice. One was head on squad which was a bit annoying but they didn't do gens so it was 4k at 5 gens. Another was flashy squad but I was plague so I just camped one guy with corrupt while everyone was injured and it was easy game afterwards.

While as survivor every second game is blight and nurse or wesker. Half the cast of killers I haven't seen in weeks.

Why can't I play a multiplayer game against people in my skill level? But that's not happening in DBD and it used to a fun game for everybody but killers get pissed at the small amount of good SWFs that everything that benefitted the casual player has been nerfed to the bones. Just because I'm not as good at a game doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to play and enjoy the game. Good players should get out most of the time. They want good players getting out less than half of the time and that's hurting the game for the casual player

Hey it just ocurres to me that those killers that complained about a small amount of swfs that beat them think like this "why should I be punished for them being good at the game", seems you both have much more in common that you may realice.

I might try Blight out, but I'm very much playing for fun and not to be the best I can at the game. I'm happy being average, and the average survivor is not very good ! =)

That I cannot deny, you are a 100% correct, good luck then.

  • Learn blight, I tell you this from someone who spent a lot of time learning billy, even when you can curve your skill will not matter due to map design and the limitations of your power it will always be up to the survivor skill if you get the down or not.

The only real thing I learn from playing billy is I wasted my time and should have learned blight since my skill would actually matter there, do NOT commit the same mistake I did.

  • Not really, they are on the same boat as septic touch and predator of perks that limit themselves to barely exist.

  • I think its hilarious that people to this date consider hyperfocus to not be good, the only thing that makes it not meta is that people are incredibly bad at the game and cannot hit skillchecks, id say release scavenger and made for this and see if they are problematic, imo scavenger won't be problematic because as previously stated somehow people are that bad they cannot hit 4 great skillcheck which is baffling, and made for this, I do think that perk is incredibly strong but Id preffer if it was released as it is as people can actually see the effects it can have in order to have evidence on how probleatic it could be.

  • Yes I know that but what stops me from using it alongside with lithe/deadhard and using the speed boost until when I see the bloodlust is catching up then triggering my exhaustion perk?

  • Gonna beat you with another one, SOMA is also a term used to refer to the region of the nucleus in brain cells, where info is arrives and is processed, wich is funny because correct me if Im wrong but aren't the new survivors memories fake and imprinted onto him, making literally a human SOMA in a sense.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

Because Killer players like to overreact. And funnily enough, the only Perks which were really used for years were new Killer Perks. In every chapter you can be sure that at least one Survivor Perk will be called OP. Sad thing is that even Content Creators usually follow this route with at least one Perk each Chapter.

IMO it would be really sad if Made for This would be nerfed before it hits live, because it seems to be an alternative to Exhaustion-Perks. And for some reason Killers complain about Exhaustion-Perks a lot, but when BHVR offers an Alternative which can drive players away from Exhaustion Perks (personally, I still think Lithe or Sprint Burst are better, so Survivors will prefer those over Made for It), it is also not fine. Just shows that Killers just want Survivors to have super-weak Perks.

But I already think this will be a Reassurance-situation where the Perk will be made basically useless before it hits the Live Servers (remember Reassurance? That Anti-camping Perk which should not work against camping...). Because the Chapter will sell well, the Killer is at least decent.

Good Survivor Perks are nowadays only brought when they are cash-grabs like MoM or CoH. So we can expect the next strong Survivor Perk which will not nerfed from PTB to live when Nicolas Cage comes out. But I have no hopes for Made for It leaving the PTB like that.

Maybe im dumb but how is it an alternative to exhaustion perks, can't I just use deadhard and lithe along with it and trigger them when the 3% is not enough to counter bloodlust? Like I see it having very good synergy with those exhaustion perks.

  • Do people still think they will actually change the twins LMAO, you trust bhvr way too much.

A lot want a killer that takes skill to be bad.

People just forget that a lot of power of a killer comes from the dedication of the player.

For example, i am not a very good killer player. I suck with most killers.

However, with my mainkiller i win often enough, because i know his ins and outs, and thus, i play him way better than any other killer. And thus can be true for any killer.

Thats why prople love billy, he takes unbeliavable skill, yet a decent survivor will always come out on top in chase, effectively making it so that you do not worry if its a good billy, as long as you are good you are safe in chase.

  • Sorry OP but the overcharge skillcheck is incredibly easy to land, even against doctor, with all the BS killers can use, are we really complaining about skillcheck doctor? Franklins /sloppy is very meta, Idk what servers you play on but it very common in matches for me and both is powerful for no hard work, how is fully emptying a survivor item not powerful? now if it only let the survivor drop the item and not drain its charges then ofc that would not be powerful. there aura reading perks + spies(very underrated perk) perks that let survivors scream, killer instinct even some killers like plague/neme as examples could find iron will survivors fine cause coughing was not countered by iron will. I personally never find an issue with iw if am playing killer since there so many tools to use , I rather 4 iron wills over 4 prove thy selfs.

The only way franklins will get value is on the first down/chase as you can drop the item and avoid it completely, if franklins is trully an issue for you and the team you are playing, frankly id question what would happen when the killers actually use powerfull perks.

Or I dont know.. he was a good killer? Maybe he took the time to find a build that worked well for him and he got really good at wraith because he refused to camp or tunnel? We did gens. We looped well. He was just better. I hate when people act like the survivors MUST be bad because someone did well on a killer that isn't seen as good. It's dumb. Most killers don't take the time to actually learn to chase well.

If you looped well and did gens you should not have lost against wraith, an m1 killer, a good looper will waste at the very least 60 seconds against an m1 killer, maybe 30 if there are deadzones. So taking the average of 45 s, and taking into account each survivors will get chased 2 times since he didn't tunnel in the first chase 3 gens had half their progress done, later in the game assuming every time someone is being chased and someone on hook then each chase half a gen should be done, in 8 chases 4 gens should be done, the max he can get is a 2k, mind you we are using 45 seconds in chase which is not what a good survivor can do against a puny m1 killer and im talking time without exhaustions perk applied.

Think about how many salty people you saw in DBD. Now think about how many people would rather use the voice chat to insult you than for communication purposes. A lot of people would mute it. There comes the next problem. When you implement voice chat in DBD you need to balance around that as well. That means anyone, who doesn't use it gets screwed over, which makes the game even more unbalanced.

Also, no amount of help would improve the hell hole that is low MMR solo queue. The self-caring Claudette in that corner will not loop the killer for 5 gens, no matter how many times you scream at her to "git gud".

No but you can actively tell her where the killer is so that she never gets caught and just works on gens and sneaks by, as someone who plays a fair bit of multiplayer games, the dbd community is incredibly fragile, I have seen killers get tilted/offended by a "gg ez" which is literally nothing, as well as survivors getting mad af because of the same little things, people want to bridge the gap between swf and soloq, and as much as you like to tell complex solutions, the only real difference is what swf has that soloq doesn't:comms.

However I agree on some part with you, the majority of players think that adding comms or icons will buff soloQ and it absolutely will not, because it is a bad change? No, its simply because most dbd players are god awfull at the game, foesn't matter how much comms you give your teamate if they still manage to go down to m1 killers in less than a minute, thats a gg and there is nothing that you could change, because its the players issue not the game's issue.
