Pallets are broken because almost all the pallet drops that should stun wind up sliding me or the killer to the same side instead of stunning.

I'm not the type of killer who relies on S tier builds to win, but rather I think it's better to use weird combinations of perks and see how they work out.
Nevertheless, It's really boring to see match after match copy-pasted builds on 4 survivors. It's like...you really never get bored?
I'd get bored if I played 1 build 24/7.
They remind me of when I was a newbie years ago, and I always wanted to run the best meta perks. But they'll be a point where you just don't want to run them anymore since they become boring.
Maybe they run those builds because they haven't played the game enough to get rid of them? Maybe.
Thats really funny because I see killer mains running the exact same types of builds to win. I am sure they would say like survivors doing the same,, if if aint broke,,,,well, you know the rest.

If a killer swings through the pallet they seem to slide around and get pushed to the other side of the pallet instead of being stunned
Yeah I have had the pallet stun more times than not just slide me to the same side as the killer lol. So he was stunned but I am right there for the down.

If you want to have a chance at winning a game now a days everyone should run BT. It discourages tunneling and camping.

there's similarities, doing 3 rituals out of 4 to either escape or kill the specter/killer, many doors and holes to avoid the killer (pallets and windows) tho the killer can break them when they are close even at the start of the match so you take away their defense as much as you can when it start, survivors are faster than you when they sprint but they ahve stamina, you are slightly faster than them when they run but you get "bloodlust" quickly while chasing them and you lose it on hit and also have reduced movement speed, however the hitbox is really unforgiving and survivors can move quickly to dodge you, so 360/180 in this game is way easier to do, honnestly it's 7$, give it a try, a third killer got added as well.
not gonna lie tho, when you start as killer, you win every game because survivors have no idea what they are doing, but the more and more you play the more and more they will know what they are doing and so the harder your games will be, you can still win, but there's also chase management and all in this game.
Awesome thanks for the explanation I will give this game a try since DBD seems too crazy right now.

Thank you for the clarification.
I wouldn't play solo Survivor until the tantrum is over, I believe I already mentioned that in a different thread to you, so I won't repeat myself here.
Yeah thats pretty much what I have been doing. I dont like playing killer but am trying to it to see it from the other side.

Ok, so what, specifically did you mean? Do you suicide on 2nd hook state a lot? Do you feel like you have teammates?
I do not run with a team because I do not play the game enough. I do my fair share as a team mate when I play solo,,,in fact I do more than my fair share, it just gets old sometimes when I cant play the game because some freaking red rank killer wants to tunnel and camp. I see the names of the killers at the end and I remember them,,,they are all the same red rank killers doing it,,,why? I help out by carrying BT and never run for a hooked survivor with the killer in tow thats just dumb. But, I do save, in fact thats all I do now in solo survivor games. Because the killer is tunneling and camping. It makes the game crap for me, I never get to do gens because someone is rage quitting or not even struggling on the hook, they are just dying. If I am the one who is tunneled and camped and no one is coming for me I will struggle to try and keep the killer next to me to waste as much time as I can so they can finish gens. I dont get what is not team playing in that??? I have lost so many pips and de-ranked from 4 to 6 in two days because this happens to much.

We are now seeing an expos of low skill survivors that were being carried by a crutch perk.
Dead by daylight is a game of either stealth evading the killer or looping the killer effectively. If you are good at those 2 things and play the game as it was meant to be played, then you don't need to use Ds in the manner it was used.
Most of the survivors complaining now arent very skilful and would get off on the fact that the killer couldn't keep track of how long ago they downed them and they got a free getaway and wasted The Killers time leading to a win they didn't really deserve.
Maybe so I dont know. I have never ran DS so I never relied on it but man have solo survivor games sucked in the past few days. So much DC'ing and rage quitting it makes me play less because I watch my pips go away and rank go down for crap that others do.

From the following statements, phone is acting up, so I have to copy and paste, and will use quotation marks where appropriate.
"First, I play solo so I have no one helping me so there goes that argument."
That reads like you are claiming that you don't have any teammates because you queued solo. I play solo 95% of the time I play Survivor, so I know better.
"because I will struggle on the hook (where I normally do not ever)"
That reads like you generally suicide on 2nd hook. Not a team player move.
"When a killer hooks one survivor because they didnt like how we pallet stunned them or lead them on a long chase so they tunnel like its cool"
Finally this reads a whole lot like you are ascribing a motive to the killer, who you don't know and have no real way of communicating with mid-match. As I said before, most killer players don't tunnel because they are upset at a pallet stun or chase, but because they have to kill 4 people, so they may as well start with who they can catch.
If I read these wrong, feel free to correct me, but that is the implication I received both the first time I read this yesterday, as well as just now when I went back to see what I had replied to.
Sorry brother you just inferred a lot from my comments that were never there.

You got it right. I don't use DS so i don't care about the nerf. But Soloqueue is often Bullshit. The Balance of Killers goes toward SWF.
So if i realise this round will be sh't from the beginning, im out. I wont waste my time playing a boring, unfun Match. I don't care about deranking. I watch some Videos or write some stupid Forum Posts like this one, till the next match starts.
And no, im actually a pretty decent Player, im not just ragequitting.
But if a Killer for example, destroys the match by immediatly camping the first hook, why even go on. There is no more game in Soloqueue at this point. He will play like this the whole match anyway, no fun in that.
There are also pretty good matches, good chases, clutch endings, matches that are fun even when i don't get out. So it is possible in Soloqueue.
But they are becoming more and more rare man...
For me it just shows the state of the Game. I think after this Rift i again will quit for a while.
This 100 percent and those who lie and say this isn't happening more and more are either playing swf so that doesnt happen that often or the ones (Killer mains) doing it.

Survivors are just going through a new stage where they have to evolve. Problem is many are trying the other tactic of throwing a tantrum and refusing to play the game.
Sadly, BHVR will probably cave to survivors before they let a small portion of them grow up, in fear they might rage quit for realz.
Personally, I’m a Killer main for several years (everybody max level with all perks) who is only now trying out playing survivor exclusively. I just played for 2 hours at yellow rank.
No more suicide hooks then normally seen this week and honestly, considering all the level 20-16 rank killers I faced (who I thought would be naturally more territorial and tunnel happy) have actually been pretty lenient and forgiving.
Nobody face camped.
This phenomenon feels more like a red rank thing. Like all the red rank killers who’ve been chained down by an OP perk are letting loose and playing a lil old school.
Hopefully people can mellow out and killers can go back to playing more chill or survivors can start taking note of Killers new favorite tactic of the month and respond accordingly.
As someone who just started the game three months or so ago, I can tell you when I was in the teen ranks there was almost no camping or tunneling going on. In fact I had no idea what that even was until I got into the purple or red ranks as a solo survivor. Now tunneling and camping happens every damn night. It IS the reason why you have crap survivors DC'ing and suicide on the hook. Which seems to defy reality because shouldn't you be better at a purple or red rank killer or survivor that you should survive a chase,,or in the obverse, not need to tunnel or camp? Yet, I see that and am thinking about doing what a player did and said in a game the other night that I didnt understand until now. He said at the start of the game "I am trying to depip, you are warned". I didnt get that until now,,,maybe he was depiping and de-ranking to get back to those yellow rank games where none of that crap happens??

This is absolutely true I can attest that half of my teammates just give up every game now and make it a 2v1 , I'm not playing solo until these people phase themselves out its ruining the game for me
See this is part of the problem,,,good players are NOT playing solo survivor so what is left are the crap players who are going to quit and suicide on the hook. Then we have the swf players who run around t-bagging and doing stupid stuff in games so when the killer gets to my solo match they are good an pissed off so they tunnel and camp.

Every match since update, if I down a survivor at the very start of the round, they will either just outright DC or suicide on hook, even as Trickster of all killers. I don't know why, but its a trend that just popped up recently and reminds me of how matches used to be before the DC Penalty, so it's quite nostalgic.
Its so bad now I have had players suicide on the hook as I am coming for them and they are not in struggle,,,they are just outright quitting. Makes no sense. Of course, that is after others just DC because they are downed the first few seconds of the game. I dont get what is going on. Then I depip or lose rank because of that game and it is not fair by any stretch. Is it a bunch of babies playing or some form of protest I dont know,,,either way it sucks and the main reason why I play way less than I did in the past.

That quite clearly is a failure on the part of the survivors. If 2 different survivors manage to get downed while trying to unhook, that is solely down to their own mistakes.
Unless both survivors were injured ( in which case they shouldn't have been going for the rescue), then how did a killer with no instadown manage to possibly get both of them?
I wont lie, most of the really bad games are players responding badly to a camping or tunneling killer. Everyone is so in-tune with saving that hooked player five seconds after they are hooked it kills the game. I cant tell you how MANY games I have seen three players downed near the hook and because I am running kindred I see what is going on and I am working on my gen thinking "#########, well this game is over". NO ONE wants to take aggro and run the killer away from a hooked player anymore. Yet, I still run around unhooking simply to watch the killer tunnel a player and I run over to save them again (when its safe and with borrowed time). But if the killer wants to camp and doesnt follow you because he knows what your trying to do where does that leave the game?? It just makes for a crap game. And yes, this happens more times than not. I understand killers want to win but if they tunnel and camp in so many games doesnt that get old after a while? Dont they want some of the back and forth game play?? It seems most killers today get on here talking about how they dont do the very things they actually do in matches. They will pawn it off as "well its a tactic", or "just git good and tunneling wont be a problem" lol. Either that or I have the absolute worst luck in this game every single night which would seem to defy reality.

Whether you queue solo or with friends, if you do so as a survivor, you have 3 teammates, that's just how the game is designed.
And again you ascribe a motive that just doesn't really exist. Killers are very unlikely to tunnel just because they got stunned, believe it or not people who play killer tend to understand the mechanics of the game just as well as, if not more than the average Survivor main. They tunnel to build pressure and get better odds to play against.
So three things.
1 please recognize that as Survivor, you play on a team, maybe if you are a team player, they will be as well.
2. Don't take it personally that the killer realized 3v1 is a lot easier than 4v1 and so tunneled a survivor out. By all means do everything you can to stop it, being taking protection hits, flashlight or pallet stunning the killer, or just leaving extra scratch marks to confuse during the chase, but please stop taking things personally.
3. Always struggle, don't just ######### on hook, that lowers your score and helps make your team lose.
Ummm it seems as if you have ascribed motives to me that are simply just not there. I am a team player, in fact I am so much a team player I have shown other players the hatch near the end of the game then taken aggro so they can jump in. I spend most of my games running around unhooking because tunneling DOES exist so much. I never take this game personally so I have no idea where that came from? I understand that human nature for some people dictates win at all costs even if that means something like consistent and never-ending tunneling to win. I do struggle on the hook when it is feasible, which it is not in most matches is because the killer is standing right next to me. If the killer is camping I do struggle to help my teammates out so I can take up as much of the camping killers time. So, in effect most of your rebuttable seems like you didnt spend a lot of time reading,,,truly reading, what I wrote. But, if people want to pretend like tunneling and camping isnt a problem then cool with me.

Okay.. well don't use the trickster then!anyone else find it frustrating to have rage quit both killers and survivors or just me that's bothered by it?
I play solo survivor which, is hard enough itself these days,, and in a two hour game play I see maybe half the games where some other survivor rage quits. There goes the game if someone is on the hook or not that many gens are done. Not ONE of those games has any killer ever taken easy on whoever is left. In fact most killers see it as a perk. Now, no one says they have to but I would as a killer because people work hard piping up and ranking in this game to see some selfish player screw that up. Everyone else in the game depips or de-ranks because of that rage quitter. I started playing this game maybe three months ago and never once saw this,,,now it happens every day! There needs to be a serious hardcore ban on these players so everyone thinks twice before doing it.

Did you get all that from my post? Bless your heart. I'll give you just one reply. Don't quote me if you're just here to waste my time by attempting to be pedantic and twisting information voids within my post to fit your own narrative. Tunneling doesn't have to happen when the killer is at the hook. Even if the killer has left the area, coming back to the hook immediately after a save leaves no real opportunity to escape the area, between blood spots, scratch marks, and so on The game is designed to give so many disadvantages after being unhooked and consequently makes it so easy to tunnel effectively. Killers can tunnel with 4 to 5 gens left all they want then if you want to boil it down to such logical gameplay, but it's uninspiring gameplay that cheapens the competition. It makes it so that survivor can't play the match, and is also why people will D/C after being tunneled. Who's to blame, killer or survivor? Neither because it's just crummy game design and using your own logic, "each side is going to use any advantage to help them win."
I play killer too, I know how frustrating it is to lose gens quickly in your first chase. I also know how tunneling, especially in the early game with multiple gens still in circulation can help put the game more in your favor when you can eliminate that 1 person and turn it into a 3v1. That being said, there's next to nothing a survivor can do by themselves outside of giving the best chase of their life when being hard tunneled, so I guess the best solution is to just stop and have the killer down and hook the survivor so you at least get struggle points and a respite from the tunneling /s.
This is actually very true and those who say it doesnrt are prob the ones doing it. It is so much more prevalent in the past few weeks it is crazy insane. On a goodnight I win maybe 2/3 matches playing solo and the ones I lose hard are from killers hard tunneling from the get up.

How can a killer possibly camp and tunnel 4 survivors at once? And within all of 2 minutes.
You either have absolutely no idea of what tunneling & camping are, or this is completely made up....
Umm no this particular game he hooked and camped then sat there when others tried to get the rescue and downed two other players. So yes it does happen. This is expressly why I run Kindred to see if he is camping so I can just continue on my gen.
-
Had a Slinger killer last night after tunneling and camping all of us ( I play solo so not a team) and in 2 mins the game was over and he texted yeee haaww at the end. Now most would say so what but it is just dumb and salty to say something like that after you totally played the game the laziest/easiest you know how. Why not just move on to the next game?? Why are Survivors allowed to play their objectives however makes sense to them, yet you want to tell killers how to play theirs?
To be tunneled means you lost 4 chases in a row. What skill is the killer not showing there? Where are your teammates to help take the heat off of you?
First, I play solo so I have no one helping me so there goes that argument. Plus, I rarely stay on the same gen because of killer pressure,,,you know the way the game is meant to be. When a killer hooks one survivor because they didnt like how we pallet stunned them or lead them on a long chase so they tunnel like its cool. I cant kill a killer theres a big difference. Tunneling is lazy game play to remove someone,,plus its kind of stupid because I will struggle on the hook (where I normally do not ever) simply to waste the tunnel/camping killer while gens are being done around them,,,so it really makes no sense to tunnel or camp for both sides.

There are very few instances where tunneling is "okay" like when 3 gens done in the first min or two of the game and the killer is getting worked. But then again killer mains have just told me when I was starting this game,,"You dont like getting tunneled then git good" LOL. Like being good has anything to do with avoiding tunneling. I still dont understand why killer mains dont take their own advice?? Get good and stop those gens and the progress??? Why is advice good only one way?

I still have yet to meet these tunnelers everyone speak of. Basically all red ranks games I've had with this new update were with near no tunneling/camping as they were before the update.
And in the few cases where tunneling happened, it was mostly due to survivors running at killer and getting owned.
Camping not so much anymore but tunneling ohhhh yes every single night I play. Just because the killer stands a few more feet out waiting for the unhook just to go after the same survivor...this is still tunneling lol. That is what is going on every single damn night I play and I am a red rank survivor. It is battle every single night to keep from depiping and de-ranking simply because a killer didnt like a pallet stun or a chase so he tunnels me.

Because as everyone else has stated there is nothing this killer can do that Huntress and Slinger cant do better,,,,your just trying to make him so easy to kill that it is crazy lopsided. You have to work at the kills just like I have to work at avoiding Huntress and Slinger. Plus Huntress and Slinger can down you with one hit and they throw very slow compared to this new killer,, so by the time you have a down with four knives the Huntress and Slinger would have only got on shot off,,,again crazy lopsided.
-
Why not just one knife to kill and no recoil,,better yet, why not just a stare to kill a survivor?? C'mon,,,you are prob one of those killers who will tell me to "git good" because I think it is lazy game play to tunnel and camp huh? Why can't killer mains take their own advise and "git good"??

I mean tapping a gen to stop it from regressing, not work on it. I said stop regression, not plot down and work on it.
Even then, DS isn't total immunity unless you're in a locker, which this nerf failed to address in the first place. Slugging is still a very fun experience, which has not been addressed at all this entire nerf. Instead, they remove any agency of the survivor and demand that they literally do nothing and just wait to be slugged.
That is exactly what this will encourage...players going to the edge of the map, hiding, and staying there until DS is gone. You can say the good players wont do this but I bet most will.
@ShamelessPigMain said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2059575#Comment_2059575
The discussion whether or not tapping a gen is stupid or not is a moot point. Not only gen-tapping though, if you feel you are in the clear and start healing, but the killer comes back, you're screwed again. It requires that you literally do nothing.
It was never abusable. DS is a second-chance perk, that just happens to require you to be tunneled or otherwise. It's not, it will never be (with its current setup), and it should never be an anti-tunnel perk. Not only can you completely play around it by slugging, but if you're in chase the timer still goes down. It still is completely vulnerable to slugging, wearing out while in chase, and now has the added middle finger of you can't do anything and have to wait for the killer to come and slug you. It's not just bad, it's absolutely worthless. The killer can just ignore you (or pretend to), and you have to make the choice between 1) doing absolutely nothing for 60 seconds just to get slugged or 2) working on a gen, losing the entire perk, and opening yourself up to being tunneled down again.
This is what I am saying. This is going to have a great number of players waiting and hiding. Then you will have good killer mains just waiting that out. Most good killers already do this by slugging players then sticking by them so no one can heal waiting for DS to time out. There are also plenty of killers who will follow you, look like they are going away only to return once your on a gen to tunnel you again. So all they have done in effect is just delay what was being done anyway.

Doctor is the worst,,,he just runs around shocking everyone finding their position then tunnels that player until they are dead. I have seen so many players DC at the first sound of the doctor it is not even funny. I guess if your a killer main and get off on that kind of quitting good on ya but it makes solo play crap. Well here's the thing. In this game you have 2 options. You either get yourself a SWF squad and play with people you can rely on, or you get shat on. You can't play solo queue.
Or you play tryhard killer that are top tier and bring strong builds.
Solo queue is a nightmare, as is trying to play chill and "have fun" as a killer.
I play survivor solo and it sucks something awful. I am average at the game but I at least know the basics. Somehow, someway there are red rank survivors who do the dumbest things consistently or better yet nothing at all and stand at the edge of the map. Most of my games last night were over in less than 2 mins??? Either they dont get it or dont care. I even had one player send a message beforehand saying he was trying to depip,,,Whhaaaat, LOL. At least he sent the message right. These types of games make everyone depip, lose rank, and generally make life miserable when playing. But, there is nothing anyone can do other than just move on the next game and hope. I dont want a team because most people who play are so bad at caring they make toxic players look good. Match that up with killers who know what they are doing at the same time and it makes you wonder why I play at all??
I used to consistently win maybe 4/5 games in a two hour game play,,,now I am lucky if I win one as a solo survivor. I end up running around and unhooking the entire game. So I have NO idea why killer mains complain at all because from my standpoint unless your playing a team your gold.
-
This game alone, more than others, you have to take a break from because it will make you want to throw your remote sometimes. So many toxic clowns on here, kids in adult bodies thinking what they do is funny.

You could not be more wrong.
I see a lot of both but there ARE a sh*t ton of killers out there who tunnel all the time as a "tactic" then camp at the end as a "tactic" then expect survivors to be happy at that? Nope, it goes both ways,, everyone is going to keep doing what they do because every one see's what they do as right and a "tactic" which is really just lazy game play. So much of this game is equal and opposite reactions. WAY too many kids in adult bodies playing.
-
@Adjatha said:
I don't know if this is true for other people, but it's almost exclusively purple and red rank survivors who are huge douchebags to me. Those are the ones rapid-clicking flashlights, teabagging, refusing to leave through the exit or hatch till they see you, acting like they'll give you a mercy final hit but then Dead Harding to the exit, taunting and trash talking after the game is over, and launching into strings of expletives even if they ran you around the whole game and got out perfectly.
Just something about putting a lot of time into the game that seems to transform people into miserable scumbags. Or, I guess, being 14 and having nothing to do with their time other than rank up and behave like a child.
Usually the ones taunting at the end are survivors who were tunneled and camped and in that case,,,while still wrong,,,they are showing the killer the error of their ways lol. I will tell the killers what they have said for a long time now to complaining survivors,,,"get better".

This happened in a match earlier today. I was playing solo queue with (i'm assuming) 3 other random players, and we were obliterated by a Billy. It was so bad that none of the Survivors earned over 10K bloodpoints (and we all de-pipped), while the Killer got around 18K.
In the post game chat, the killer typed 'GG WP'. My response was 'Was it really?' because clearly it wasn't a good game or well played. lol
As a survivor, do you think it's rude when a Killer types out 'GG' when it was a slaughter? As a killer, would you still type of 'GG' when you have dominated? I know that I typically don't post 'GG' in the post game chat if it was a really one-sided trial.
Dont care what people say here that killer meant it in a derogatory way,,,anyone who says different is living in an alternate reality. C'mon now after you slaughter a team saying that is just insult to injury. If you say ggwp and the game lasted 1 min where everyone was slaughtered and most of the time was spent waiting to get hooked, there was NO well-playing lol. Anyone saying otherwise is just hiding behind "being nice", and "giving a respectful handshake" lol. But let them be toxic and move on to the next game.

funny how you say scoring should be 1/12 hook states but some killers can't do that how fast gens go by the time some killers have 3 hooks all gen are done(with out camping)
and the only time I camp or tunnel is egc at which point I have no choice
there maybe less camping if gens didn't go so fast or survivor had a 2nd objective because totums aren't working.
Every single one of you killers say you "only camp as a last resort",,, well then why does it happen almost every damn match? I play every night and almost every night there are 3 or 4 matches where someone camps then players dc and it is just crap.?? It used to happen every few days now it is every day!!

It's just as "lazy" as sitting at a gen when playing survivor, not much happening but that is the game. And it's up to the killer what is fun or not. If you had a though day at work and you pour yourself a drink at home and play DBD it's pretty relaxing not having to chase around like crazy all game. Also a good way to derank if you are tired of being red rank killer.
There's the stupid

There is so much legitimate toxicity in this game it is amazing. It has only gotten worse and I am about done with the game and I have only been playing for a few months. The same babies who cry about tea-bagging are the same ones who do it. Killers constantly camping because they cry they are not getting enough wins, players who DC in almost every damn game, it never ends and if the devs dont get a handle on the babies who play this game like that it is done. I could care less if I lose,, its the lazy game play, the DC players all the damn time, mixed with toxic lame ass killers who do the same thing day in and day out just to win,,,doesnt that get old??/ Dont they want to play a good game???

Why should it not be allowed? It's 1-2 kills at the most unless survivors are bad, so killer is unfair to himself if anything.
Its just lazy game play to camp,,,killers hook and sit there,,,where is the fun in that? But if thats the way you have to win good on you.

I'm not mad @ survivor doing their objects, but the entitlement makes me sick when survivors calls u a camper/tunneller while they camp and tunnel gens the whole game. I just kicked the gen and a survivor taped it, isn't that tunneling my gens just like I tunnel a unhooked survivor? How come tunnelling the survivor makes me a bad guy while they do the same all the time? Just because they have 4 and can ######### more?
Doing the same object ignoring other objects, aka tunneling, is only bad when killers do it, while for survivors it becomes a legit strategy. That's insane. Besides killers are already being punished with BT DH DS combo, why surviviors still ######### about it while killers accually pays more than downing 2 other survivors for hooking the saved again? Does killers have perks that makes gens impossible to touch for 60 seconds / stun the survivor for 5 seconds after he kick this gen? Or makes the gen have another 40 seconds for repair after a kick? Why some survivors r so entitled?
This difference is, as a killer who hooks a survivor,,,they cant leave (unless maybe with deliverance if you have already unhooked someone),,, while a survivor who is "tunneling" a gen can leave just like you the killer can leave and move around. So your comparison is flawed because as a survivor we have to "tunnel" a gen to compete it unless there is another way to do them your not telling us about? With regard to DS most killers get around that by not picking up a downed survivor and letting them wait. For BT that goes back to tunneling by a killer,,,most will just follow a survivor until the few seconds are gone and they can down you, happens all the time. DH has never been that great to begin with and only works 10 percent of the time in a clutch.

That's the absolute worst feeling when you feel like you won every single chase (sub 15 seconds) and still lost. You feel handicapped because you simply picked the wrong killer for that match.
Nope, the worst feeling is getting tunneled in 7 out of the last 10 matches. Just because the killer doesnt stand right next to you when on the hook and is like 10 meters away watching to strike you if you get unhooked it is still camping/tunneling lol. The other three matches it was nurse or spirit and those ended up badly because it was a killer who knew what they were doing and phased the entire time across the map and we only got one-three gens done. This was all with a team that is relatively good. So um yeah DBD is not as fun as it was thats for sure. I guess only when people stop playing in large enough amounts will it change.

I HATE DC players I dont care what their reason is,,,just play the game out and move on. It is so childish and petty to DC just because you get hit or hooked first. I survivor main and sometimes like to see the different types of mori's out there. Doesnt mean I want it to happen all the time but survivors and killers sometime need to cut a MF LOL.
-
I mean this in the best possible way,,,not toxic at all. Killer mains ALWAYS tell survivor players who complain and camping and tunneling to simply "get better" why cant that be the same advice for killers who complain about survivors gen rushing, I am sincerely confused?? That is the advise always,,,and I means always, being told to survivors who say anything about the "tactic" of camping and tunneling. The only time I see camping and tunneling as a tactic is when three gens are done and the game started a min ago. But, that is not usually the case I see. I play a few hours a night and see most camping killers do it after the first 20 secs of a game starting and not one gen is done. It is their "go to" move from the start because they know survivors will try to hook rescue.

im not talking about those killers. Thats why i prefaced my comment with the 3 gens popping thing. I hate camping and tunneling, doesnt mean i wont use it to balance the game
Thats maybe the only time I can see camping as a possible tactic when gens are popping like its cool and you make the players come to you. I wish that were the only time it is used. Sadly, I play a couple of hours or so a night and I consistently see killers camping on the first hook and only one gen is popped. It is sad I have to use up a slot for kindred just to see the killer camp. I guess the way to stop this type of camping is when killers constantly lose games because they sit camping and all gens are done and players are out the gate,,,maybe then they will learn. It is a problem but players can solve this not really the devs.

*it takes forever to get that as a survivor if you're bad
Get good, simple
Gotta love players who say "get good",,, like player skill has anything to do with a killer spawning right next to you and you run them for a bit get downed, hooked and camped...LOL. The games over now and you spent the majority of it on a hook just watching yourself die. This happens so damn frequently in games now it makes the game unfun to play. How bout this,,,dont camp and killers should just "get good" at stopping gen rushing??? If you are new to the game and this happens maybe half the time you play (which it does now because camping and tunneling is that prevalent) why would anyone want to keep playing???
I watch all the twitch and YouTube video's out there to learn how to play the game and NOT ONE killer on there camps hmmm,, why is that? They have players gen rushing and running them ragged yet they still dont camp or tunnel? Because they see it as I do,, its lazy and makes the game crap. You just kill enough survivors til you either get them all or they finish the gens and run to the gates and then I see those same killers run straight to the gates and camp there,,,how is that a tactic LOL??

i do care about what the community thinks. These survivors think they are getting screwed by killers, and thats not the case. It's a dev issue. This doesn't impact my game very much im just tired of seeing people misunderstanding why killers do these things
Sorry brother the majority of camping I see is killers camping after 20 secs of the game starting and not one gen (or maybe one) has popped and there is already a survivor on the hook. So no it usually isn't three gens popping then camping. Most killers who camp are going to do it right from the start regardless of survivors on gens. They see it is a "go to" tactic always and it isnt,,,its lazy game play just to win. I run kindred always just for his because it happens so frequently.

Had a Claudette the other day box me in by the machine in Colwind until GF came and downed me then ran off lol. It sucks and happens but rarely. I have no idea other than being a stupid kid why they do these things lol.

From someone who plays 99.9 percent survivor I can tell you I have never seen a toxic reply in chat from a killer. That in no way means it does not happen but there are wayyyyy more toxic survivors who feel entitled to a save when they do something stupid and because they dont see you on one side of the map foolishly going for a survivor on the hook with the killer right behind you that you aren't doing anything productive. One match I did 3 out of the five gens, two saves, and ran the killer for a while and because I wasnt running right next to the killer with some idiot going down two times in less than 20 seconds he said at the end that I was useless LOL,,,okay. People seem to get very VERY pissed if they lose and I dont get it. I am as competitive as the next guy but I dont blame others for my mistakes and I def do not get pissed if someone doesnt save me when its not safe or feasible to do so. Best to ignore the noise.
