Look, just stop it.
To the people saying just buy better internet needs to look at internet pricing and speeds in the US.
I lived in a major city and it was $70/mo for 4Mbps. The next highest was 100Mbps at$250/mo. Oligarchies are fun!
Esp for a game most probably picked up on sale for like $5.
Not everyone can drop 250 every month. Just like everyone can't drop a lot of money on the ever growing resource costs of dbd.
Then if you live in a smaller city you'll be lucky to find a 4Mbps connection and in some areas it is dsl or sat net.
I play MHW just fine on my laptop but dbd lags. For some reason Senran Peach Splash does too, but it's also a very poorly optimized game. I can also play mgsv on it too.
I can play games that should cost way more in resources than DbD with bigger maps,AI eating away at my cpu, higher graphics and tons more. Yet DbD lags and crashes, once every like week or so, but the other games don't.
Before I moved I had to switch to my desktop for dbd which is made for super high end gaming, programming, and video editing. Which shouldn't be needed, especially for a game that runs on the switch and cellphones.
Asking for people to pay for big upgrades, and expensive monthly ones, isn't cool.
Accuse away of them lying but quit the poor shaming on a game that heavily sells at budget prices.
It's not like we bought star citizen.
A lot of people game for fun and as a cheap hobby. Pay$15 for a game to play online when you want is a lot cheaper then paying $15 a week to see movies, plays, going to the club,etc..
$250 a month for 100 Mbps internet? I call bull if you live in the U.S.

Yeah, I started using him 'cause I have his Halloween Blight face, and I wear that with a blue suit and the Christmas letter opener weapon; I really like the outfit on him. Then I discovered how fun it is to pelt survivors with bottles. Now, I'm mostly playing as him or, if I see flashlights in my lobby, Doc.
Wish I had some better clothes on my killers but I'm not paying anymore money. In one month I spent all the money I've ever spent othis game. Bought 3 killers and that was so I could get their perks to be competitive.
Your clown sounds awesome, haha.

It's amazing there are any killers still playing this game, sometimes. With matchmaking as it is, survivors keep going up against newbie killers with little to no experience, and then they taunt them in-game because the killer is "so bad"... the killer hasn't had time to get better yet, and being dicks to them in-game isn't going to encourage them to stick around and get better.
I've been playing killer to get BP and because the queue times are faster, but I know I'm going up against survivors who are way, way better than me, so I don't even try to play. I've been going in as Clown with Distressing and just throwing bottles at them to max out Deviousness. I often don't even hit them much less hook them. I hope that's what they want from the game, because that's all I'm gonna give them, and with the way they treat killers who actually try, killers like me are all that's gonna be left.
(Throwing bottles at survivors is actually a lot of fun and really hilarious. Especially if you hit them with the bottle. The constant screams have me laughing all match.)
I was checking out clown, he's only level 10 so I only had 2 perks, Pop and something else. I was trying to get down how far he can throw along with his natural arc as well. It wasn't too bad, I mainly tried him out because of the elephant mask I got from the Tome. Haha

This isn't a post to complain about NOED, but rather just to question why bad killers use it as a crutch. Most of the time resulting in their only kill. It's just certain days I go on this luck streak of killers who are SO BAD, i literally just ran an oni for 5 minutes around 1 pallet, we all **** on this guys life, tbagging blinding pallet slamming lmaoo. Then mister no skill killer has the audacity to be running NOED. lets be honest that you aren't even going to get far with that when 4 survivors are better than you. You're admiting you're a bad killer seeing as half the killers have 1 shot abilities they can get standard (M2). Needless to say he didn't kill anyone.
Next match, boy was this a funny one, a trapper with NOED who couldn't even loop. Every time he wanted to try to swing at the pallet and let me slam him. It's hard to take this guy seriously and then he gets 1 hook all game, guess what perk he's playing with? NOED LOL
Go ahead keep using it it's rather amusing, rules of survival, unless the killers complete garbage just let the random die on NOED, OR take a look in the most immediate areas to check really quickly, don't feed these bums, I'm perfectly fine with killers not developing skill through means of NOED to get 1 - 2 kills .
A major issue in this game is how people prioritize killing someone even if it means on the first hook. This I don't understand unless you truely don't care about even bloodpoints. Pips don't stand for anything unless you like having a challenge every single time in red ranks, even at purple ranks now u get gold and gray killers on ps4. Hell you even get linked with gold and gray survivors who would rather watch you loop for 5 minutes instead of doing generators. Even so with dumb survivors and a dumb killer with NOED 1-2 experienced survivors is all it takes to change those matches.
This perk is the biggest hurdle in the game toward survivors , to be fair it always has been, i think I'd rather have this reworked than ruin, ruin was bareable, although admittedly it was the cause of disaster in a lot of games. Why should No One Escapes Death work on every survivor multiple times until its cleansed, depending on what level of NOED you have should be how many times you can use it;
MY PROPOSAL ON HOW N.O.E.D. SHOULD BE:
( NOED Tier 1 - You get a 1 hit down on 1 survivor, only works 1 time)
(NOED Tier 2 - You get a 1 hit down on 2 survivors, only works 1 time on each selected survivor)
(NOED Tier 3 - You get a 1 hit down on 3 survivors, only works 1 time on each selected survivor)
There's absolutely no reason u need a crutch bigger than 3 free M1 1 shots.
Please I hope the Devs see this idea, its much more balanced, especially for super low rank noobie survivors who don't know where to look for totems, or that the situation calls for them to just escape rather than rescue.
You're a survivor with the best perks in the game that can be used multiple times and stack with other Survivors. You come and complain about a perk "that you don't care about" and say to Nerf it and say you just got through being a massive douche+toxic (x10²³) to a killer who sucks. And we're already low on killers so the queue times are longer. So instead of helping them out and giving them tips you just decide ... You're part of the reason we are in the forums. It's people like you destroying the game.

I know it has been said so many times, but what is up with all the toxic survivors. I have been playing this game for about a month as killer, and at first I loved it, it was fun, some games I would not even get kills but still have a good time. As my skill improved I moved up to as high as rank 14. I am not very good, and play just for fun, but now at 15 and 16 (I keep going backwards once I hit 15) it is losing it's fun.
Now not all survivors are toxic, when I first started some survivors would message me (I am on console so they have to reach out) with tips and tricks to get better. Now thanks to the messed up matchmaking, and probably the lack of killers, I am going against purples all night long. This weekend they were an average of 6 ranks higher, but as much as 10.I got annihilated almost every game, lucky if I got a knock down, yet alone a kill, lot's of t-bagging when trying to chase them, and at exit, and then they would go out of their way to send the famous "LOL GG" messages to me. For all you toxic survivors, you are not going to have a game to play when you drive all the killers away. Or maybe you will, because mm will line you up with baby killers to torment. How fun can that be?
The t-bagging isn't the problem (even though it is irritating, I know you are better than me) but why go out of your way, to send a message to harass a killer you are 10 ranks higher than? That is what I don't get.
You're better off being a toxic killer and face camping the toxic survivors and blocking messages when you play this game. Then unblock messages when you move on to another game. When I see a toxic survivor, I take it as a 1on1 and go toxic on them. They usually rage quit and cry.
But I don't play the game anymore. I just watch YouTube videos and streams of PC players. The game isn't playable and the less killers they have, the more BHVR has to work before this game fails like it's other games.

I wish they'd make it with A.I. either you and 3 A.I. survivors or you with friends vs Survivors or even a killer and 4 A.I. Survivors.

Thats how survivors protest unfortunately, they DC whenever they arent having fun aka bullying the killer and will most likely cry for nerfs.
Talked about this in the past. Killers need to do the same. Survivors wait 15-20 minutes for a game. So how about killers start DC'ing when they aren't having fun because they're toxic and need nerfs?

I completely agree, i for the most part stick with single players because pvp games in general are so toxic but dbd is really high up there at least in my experience, my gf played ONE match her first btw (as killer) and she got messaged that she sucks and she should kill herself and all that and it just turned her away from the game, you would think people want you to become part of the community so the game grows but no they just insult people away, what a great community
I'm sorry to hear about this. There's definitely a lot of hurt that people are going through offline and it shows through their actions online. If you're on PS4 hit me up. I'm a lowbie survivor but main Killer. We could play Killer with friends and show her the ropes and get her involved in a healthier way.

I wasn't saying that I wasn't having some fun as Survivor. I have fun know I'm bad at it and and there gets to be some close calls at times. But I was also playing as rank 19 with my rank 5 friend going against rank 2 killers. So I expected as much but was still fun.
People can only take so much and not everyone will see it as a "trophy". It gets tiring always getting messages from some ding dong nerd raging and having pride issues because they died. It's it fun over a period of time. This is a legitimate issues that needs to be dealt with.

I don't want to have to buy all the survivors, level them to 40+ just to unlock their abilities so others can use it.
There are some killer perks that would be very beneficial but cost money. And depending on the Meta, those perks can be the difference in a win or loss.
Maybe even a select screen for maps?

Of the killers you have available, Ghostface, Hillbilly, Huntress and Nurse are probably the strongest at base. They all have very different playstyles, obviously, so it depends on what sort of thing you're looking for.
Nurse is the strongest on potential alone, but she also takes a long time and a lot of patience and resilience to learn, because you probably won't get results with her right away. Huntress is fairly strong and takes a fair amount of work to master, though not as much as Nurse. If you are interested in learning Huntress, Scott Jund is (or was, until recently) a Huntress main and has some really great video tutorials about her.
HillBilly and Ghostface is probably my best bet then.

You'll get a bunch of different recommendations for YouTubers to watch, but I personally like Scott Jund and Otzadarva. Both are killer mains who have not only good knowledge of DBD but are also generally smart, reasonable and model good sportsmanship. Otzdarva (YT: "not Otzdarva") has video strategy and build guides for a variety of killers, and Scott has tutorials like this one covering killer basics like looping. Watching either of them play will also help you to become better when it comes to things like moonwalking. PainReliever is also a good YouTuber whose content focuses largely on tutorials for both sides.
Regarding safe and unsafe pallets, I can give you a quick rundown. Generally, the safety of a pallet is measured by how easy it is for the killer to bait the survivor into taking a hit once the pallet has been thrown down. Generally, the shorter the loop, the more unsafe the pallet. Some pallets, like the shack pallet, are referred to as "god pallets" because they are so safe it's pretty much impossible to bait the survivor into taking a hit around them, and you're better off just breaking them as soon as they get dropped.
When you say "without having the best perks", do you mean which killers would we recommend buying if you don't care about who has the best perks, or do you mean which killers would we recommend playing if you don't have any good perks for them, or do you mean which killers should you buy to obtain the best perks?
If you want killers with good perks, I would recommend Leatherface, Plague, Spirit or Myers. As for which killers are the most enjoyable to play, that really depends on what you personally find fun. Do you enjoy stealth? Tracking? Mobility? Brute force? Controlling survivors? If you let us know what kind of things you value or find fun in killer gameplay, it's easier to recommend someone you'll enjoy.
Killers that are still great without buying more? Maybe Hillbilly?
I like Ghostface because I can legit scare someone, no red light or terror radius.

Considering that for optimal distribution you'd want 4 survivors for every 1 killer I'm surprised the difference isn't bigger. Obviously there's also people that play both and have both sets of achievements, but I don't see why it's surprising that there's more survivors than killers?
It's showing how many Killers never even break the top ten Rank vs how many survivers hit or pass the 5 rank. Found it interesting. They should try to make the Killer more appealing to others since there's a big difference between the two.

Pertaining to gens. What if, instead of survivors only needing to tap the button to stop gens decreasing, they have to repair it for 3 seconds again before it stops?
But yeah, I'm rank 13 going against fives now. Then get hate mail because I tunneled the guy who kept teabagging and flash lighting me 12 times and I killed him.

No.
Maybe if the made it to where Survivors can't squat twice in a row? Maybe like a 3 second timer so tea-baging would be out of the game along with the Survivor emotes. That would help with some of the Toxicity. But matchmaking isn't great. You won't fight people within a 3 level difference. You're rank 17 Killer going against 7-9's.

Should survivors just not do the objective? I love the term "gen rush." It's literally how we win the game. I guess we really should take the killer's feelings into consideration.
No, I completely understand that. But what if there was a way they could do it without the (SWF) survivors only being able to talk to each other in game? Maybe the killer can hear them through his headset? But he won't be able to hear them actually say words because then that could be atrocious toxicity. Maybe they just hear certain chitchat noises like from Charlie Brown?
Maybe only have it to where you can only play with one friend at a time instead of 3? Or if there is a 4v1 (SWF) then perks get stronger or something? Kind of like in some video games (D3) when your friend joins your game the enemies get stronger and then when they leave return to normal. So the more people you have and your Survivor with Friends the more beefy the Killer?
-
-
Idk. Doesn't sound too bad to me. Got to rank 13 and I'm going against 5-7's. Gen rushed all the time. Even when I was rank 17 I was going against 7-9's.
What this makes me think of is the Rogues from WoW. They complained so much that Blz ended up doing things for them. That seems to be what Survivors are in this game; they're the Rogues from WoW. So if the killers start complaining more, and maybe even protest, their voice will be heard.

Not only that but them being immune for so long after getting off a hook by Bill, dodging strikes and hitting me when I pick them up. I'm ranked 15 going against a SWF rank 6. This is literally about how much can I take? I got lucky in one game being ranked 8-9s and 4k.
