But what about the bing bongs?
*equips my bone clapper* sorry did you say something?

I think that wraith is fine, he doesn’t need a rework. Imo, windstorm should be part of his base kit, to enhance his map pressure, and maybe change them to effect his reappearance speed boost, like spirit’s addons. Also, I would make him completely invisible outside of a certain range, like Freddy, and raise his speed while uncloaking.
-
My usual build is: STBFL, a nurse’s calling, PGTW and BBQ, with reduced activation time and reappearance addons.
-
Spirit:
STBFL, a nurse’s calling, BBQ, PGTW
add-ons: wakizashi saya and bloody hair brooch
-
The answer is 42

Spirit fury is counter-able by dropping pallets a bit early, or by looping around windows, negates the perk completely. SF is a strong perk, but I wouldn’t say it’s “ abusable”. Your suggestion will weaken the perk, and killers will lose an effective perk to deal with pallet looping. I think it’s now in a good place.
-
Lately, every time I played spirit I got Springwood. Well I can’t complain about that
-
my build is spine chill, lithe, alert and lightweight. A nice stealth+map awareness build imo. I would probably pick bond or Q&Q instead of lightweight, but I don’t own them yet.

Stake out is good counter against ruin

Really? For something that only takes like 20 seconds. Lol
Cleansing all five totems by yourself takes almost two minutes, not including running around the map to find them. This item idea is for players who want all five totems. After all it’s 5000 bp.
-
You play nurse on PS4??? What’s your rank I’M COMING
-
Don’t have a name for it, but maybe something that lets you do totems a bit faster, for players who really hate noed/ want those bp(1000 bp for a dull totem is not a bad deal)
-
I get that BBQ is a great perk, but you didn’t answer the more important part of my question. Is it with the taking over Freddy? I do want him.
@Mister_xD while I agree that It’s worth 5$, I don’t want to spend those right now. I have 500 auric cells left, so it’s down to Freddy or Leatherface.
-
How about changing the stun time, according to time passed since the unhook? 5 seconds if you’re downed after 20 seconds, 4.5 after 40, and 4 afterwards.

You cant camp amd farm anyway. Unsafe unhooks reward ######### points and get both of you injured.
It's not as practical as you're making it out to be. If a killer is camping you, you're dead. Period. Because good survivors do work. IF someone tried to save you from a face camper, youd rather push them off and get you both caught?
I'm done trying to reason with a brick wall. Your situations do not exist, because if the killer isnt near, nobody is farming you, so its moot; and if he is near you, you're dead to camping, so why ######### you and your teammate? ESPECIALLY if you dont know wether they have bt or not. It could be two of you escaping, turned to 2 deaths because YOU kicked them away. Third, if they hit the saviour, after already camping you, you REALLY think theyll chase after injured bait and not just keep camping? Come on. Campers camp. Kicking away a possible save is just a dick move. Especially now that wglf only awards safe uhooks.
This.
-
Or maybe give bp only for safe unhooks, all 1500 of them, instead of the “bonus” if the unhook is safe.
-
I love your suggestion, but think about this: a Good survivor can loop for a very long time, even while injured. So, it means that if a killer found this survivor in 30 seconds, he can be looped for a minute, and then suffer DS( because the timer has stopped). That’s too much imo.
my suggestion is this: 30 seconds for DS, and if the killer initiates chase with you, the timer resets. It can happen for only one time per hook. So, if the killer chases you, lose you and then chases you again, it won’t reset. Not perfect, maybe better then this (excellent) version of DS.

That's what I was saying to them.
It’s not farming if the killer is not near you, so why you would kick someone.
if the killer is near, then what @Carpemortum said.

If the killer isn't near me then them kicking me away won't get me killed.
So, it’s not farming.
-
@Carpemortum said:
So that salty teammates can lure me over and refuse the help, because they dont know if I have BT or well make it or any other stupid reason they want to troll?
Noty.
Youre only ever farmed with unsafe unhooks. This wouldn't stop that, it would simply give the killer 2 people because had they been able to save you and you kicked them, they're now ######### as well as you still being hung.
Word.
Also, DS exists. It’s a band-aid, but a good one.

I wish I found nurses.. Nobody else on console wants to learn her. :/
bought this game a year ago, and to this date I played against maybe 5 nurses. Really sad
-
They also should be able to run on walls, double jump and have laser eyes. Because why the ######### not.
-
I noticed that a lot of killers lobby dodge me when I play as nea than every other survivor, even if it’s my prestiged Feng Min. I play with no items most of the times and her default outfit. I don’t know why it’s like that, guess they all faced a toxic nea like you...
-
Take spirit. You won’t regret this. Strongest killer on console with good perks. I would also take the shape, he’s pretty solid.
-
DS nerf is not that old, and before that, DS was THE most hated thing in the game. Now it’s just a strong anti-tunnel perk, nowhere near its “glory” days.
Then, MoM came, and became the the killer’s archenemy. Guess what? Nerfed to the ground. And let’s not forget about springwood rework.
give the devs some time, that’s all I’m saying.

I’m a simple man, I see a good idea, I upvote it.

D. 3 toolboxes and 2 prove thyself, I feel your pain bro
-
Thank you all for your advices!
-
I agree that spirit is very strong, but she has some counter play, like every other killer not named omega-blink nurse. one of them is scratch mark juke.
lets suppose that you and the spirit stand on the opposite sides of a pallet. You can’t tell if she’s phasing, but you can trick her if she’s actually phasing. Start by running away from the pallet, forcing her to phase if she wants to catch you, and after a few seconds mess with her. Run back the way you came, change direction and return, and walk in a different direction. It should make reading your steps harder for the spirit, but be careful: experienced spirits will try to “bump” into you in order to find you.
finally, learn the spirit you are playing against. Some spirits will phase immediately, some will wait for you to walk to near them and hit you, and some will wait for you to vault the pallet. Learning the player is a great way to counter them.
-
My stealth build is alert, spine chill, lightweight and lithe. I always know if where the killer is, and if he comes to me I can trick him with lightweight and then lithe away (I would swap alert with Q&Q, but sadly I don’t have it on feng)
-
Spine chill and lightweight for survivor, bloodwarden and bloodhound for killers.
-
That’s a great stealth build right there, I think it’ll do the job.
My suggestion is to use bond instead of dance with me. It lets you see if other teammates are nearby and ready to heal you, and it’s a great perk overall.
i would also try lightweight, I love this perk, really helps losing the killer in buildings/ jungle gyms (and with iron will you are a living nightmare to all the spirits out there).
-
It takes 9000 shards to purchase a non-licensed character(so GF, Freddy and etc. can be unlocked only with real money). Right now, there are 8 characters obtainable with shards on console.
You earn shards by leveling up, 300 shards for each level(after 50, at the lower levels you gain less shards). You level up by playing. You get 500 xp for every game, survivor or killer. It doesn’t matter if you have played well or not, as long as you don’t DC/died really quickly. In case you DC, you gain zero shards. Just to give you a perspective, after you reached lvl 50, you need 4200 xp (roughly 8-9 games)to level up.
Bottom line, you need to grind, and you need to grind hard. It’s not impossible, but it takes time. If you play daily, and save your shards only to unlock characters(you can buy outfits and perks with shards), you should be fine.

any plans to make second objective for survivors?

The survivors are using so many resources for the rescue, there's no gens being done so it all works for the killer right? I do want to ask though what is the best thing to do if I was not a killer with instadowns in that sort of situation? It's hard to stop unhooks so do you just keep chasing the survivors who was hooked?
If I were you, I would try to hit the rescuer, and then chase them ( and not the unhooked one). It puts pressure on the survivors, as only two of them can work on a gen safely( the injured one might resort to healing himself, and the one you currently chasing can’t repair of course). If the whole squad is near the hook, just try to hit as many survivors as you can, you gain considerable momentum out of It.
-
Of course it’s not camping. Camping is when you patrol the hook in close proximity/“facecamping, even if the other survivors aren’t near the hook. But, if the others are already near, should you just leave and let them unhook?
It’s like defending a gen. While it’s stupid to just stand next to a gen and protect it without actually playing the game(who does it anyway), if you chase a survivor near a gen, and you see another survivor starting to work on it, it would be smart to break the chase and defend the gen. I think this logic applies here too.
And finally, the penalty of being close to an hooked survivor does not apply if another survivor is within 16 meters of a hooked survivor (I refer to the penalty to the chaser emblem points). That means the devs acknowledge the difference between defending and camping the hook.
To conclude, you did fine, just ignore toxic people.
I apologize for any grammar mistakes, not a native and also very tired.

@citron You stopped using an add-on because you were hurting survivors' feelings? Hahaha! You call yourself a killer?
@RoKrueger It’s just a game bro, chill.
gosh people take DbD so seriously sometimes

i don’t think it’s a fun idea... I mean, totems can be hard to find, cleansing them takes no skill, and the killer can camp them if needed. Forcing people to cleanse them is a bad idea. Also, it seems like a really weak perk. Decent survivors can cleanse all the totems in the first minute of he match if they want, and then it’s just a normal game...
I think totems are fine as optional second objective. The game needs a non-gen related(or partly related) obligatory objective, not a gen blocker. But the gen cap is nice, it could work with collecting parts to be able to work on a gen (not mine idea, it’s the most popular potential second objective on the forums right now)

This would work for lower-tier killers. However, this would make higher tier killers extremely overpowered. They need to make all killers roughly in the power range of Huntress before you can balance out the survivor objective. Right now due to the extremely wide power spread it would be impossible to implement a mechanic that didn't heavily make certain killers impossible to play against.
So maybe, in addition to the second objective, they could buff stealth/chases instead of making all the killers mid-tier. it sounds easier on paper, and it makes survivor gameplay even more interesting.
-
Well, I think that the size of your red stain is linked to the size of your TR, so the perk can help you mindgame when in chase with 4 stacks. maybe furtive chase meant to be a better beast of prey, but it’s still not worth it...

Amen

I think protection hits would be fine if they made it much easier to get protection hits. Half the time you get the "protection" score event, even if you literally are throwing yourself in front of the killer, you don't get a stack (same for WGLF really, where sometimes even if you bodyblock to a hook it doesn't stack up).
It's only one hit per game, so it's powerful, but compare it to, say, Adrenaline, where you also potentially get the chance to 'eat' a hit (because if you're injured before Adrenaline pops, you get healed and can take one more hit you otherwise couldn't), AND get a speed burst, and all you have to do in that case is survive to the last generator popping (and, yes, be injured or hooked at the time if you want to get an 'extra' hit)
My David gets WGLF stacks only when unhooks someone. My David needs his blood points. My David is angry.

Hex:ruin because I’m a potato

Depend on how you define tiers.
To me he is not top tier, but he is not the worst either. I'd say he is in the same boat as Myers, Doctor, Pig and Clown.
The clown has a strong chase ability, and Myers has insta-downs and small TR. They are WAY better than legion.
-
I’d put him above trapper, current Freddy and LF. Poor legion...

You know I never gen tap, and I'm pretty good at greats. But I don't dare do it because failing at it is possible, and I don't want to bring the killer to me because I'm not that good at chases. So I end up hitting the good skill checks which obviously regresses it.
If you’re not that good with chases, try to use spine chill. Saved me so many times. It combos well with UE or lightweight.
